To maintain continuity of education, school management was confronted with a conflicting situation of mobilizing the student learning process and simultaneously maintaining COVID-19 protocols without having the cushion of using online medium in the village. The mission was accomplished through an extraordinary education delivery system which was non-technical, cost-effective, prudent, and still efficient that would revitalize education by using the existing village resources. This case documents how Utkramit Madhya Vidyalaya achieved this unexpected goal which illustrates how frugal techniques can be effective in any management process if the vision for work remains the centripetal force in the organization.

Learning Management Systems are very popular nowadays. They have many functions to support the learning process, classes home assignments, communications, and progress tracking. However, it lacks the functionality for the management staff like scheduling (planning) and reporting. Here we propose the software solution, which solves this issue and provides the scheduling for the classes in a school or university, considering requirements, limitations, and wishes. An innovative approach was applied to the scheduling problem. This solution is based on the workforce management techniques known previously. The first positive feedbacks from Iraq schools, where we implemented this solution, support us for the next development and improvements of the system. The focus of the paper is the scheduling module of the system developed, the context of the task (the scope), and arguing why it is important. The method from the area of workforce management systems was taken, adopted, and applied to the new task of school scheduling construction. This is the novelty of the presented work.

Abstract Nematode-trapping fungi are biological control agents used against the larval stages of gastrointestinal nematodes in livestock feces. These fungi are normal soil inhabitants where they feed on a variety of non-parasitic soil nematodes. Of the various fungi tested, Duddingtonia flagrans spores (BioWorma, International Animal Health Products, Australia) have been shown to survive passage through the gastrointestinal tract of ruminants. After defecation, the spores germinate and grow in the feces to form sticky, sophisticated traps/loops which are able to trap the developing larval stages in the fecal environment. This form of control has been successfully applied under field conditions and is an environmentally safe biological approach for forage-based feeding systems. BioWorma has recently been approved for use in the United States. The primary delivery system is mixing BioWorma into supplement feedstuffs daily where each animal has the opportunity to consume an adequate amount of the mixture. To achieve optimum control of larvae during the transmission season (May–October), BioWorma needs to be fed for a period of no shorter than 60 days, starting at the beginning of the grazing season (especially young after weaning). Feeding BioWorma to dams during late pregnancy and lactation will also help to reduce pasture contamination, especially for growing young that will graze the same pasture. Another delivery system is mixing BioWorma into loose mineral supplement where animals will consume it free choice. The mineral needs to be kept covered and dry. The spores cannot be incorporated into pellets as the heat of the pelleting process will kill the spores. One drawback in using BioWorma is the relatively high cost. Research is being conducted to evaluate other delivery schemes that could be more cost effective. This product is the only control method that targets nematodes on pasture, where a majority of the total population reside.

This type of study is descriptive qualitative one. Data are collected through interview, observation, and documentation. The collected data was analyzed by means of the interactive model (interactive model) of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study reveal that the steps of Qowaid learning in the perspective of cognitive theory are as follows. (1) The teacher explains in advance the material to be taught using the deductive method. (2) The teacher gives examples of what has been explained before. (3) The teacher asks the students to memorize qowaid and vocabulary contained in the sentences or text they are learning. (4) The teacher will not move from one rule to another before the students really understand one rule first. The Qowaid learning methods used in the perspective of cognitive theory, namely; (1) the Nahw wa Tarjamah Method (Grammar Translation), (2) the deductive method, (3) the question and answer method, (4) and the bahtsul masa'il method.

Every educational system has its goals and objectives, curricula and modes of implementation. There is however the need for periodic assessment and evaluation. Specifically, this research paper sets out to evaluate the success or otherwise of the music education delivery system in Kwara state of Nigeria and its implications for the goals of music education in Nigeria. Data were gathered primarily from field situations using empirical and deductive methodologies and secondarily from government publications and other publications related to the subject matter. The paper observes that the noble idea of bi-musicality, a concept that stresses musical literacy in both one's own culture and that of the West is hampered by lopsidedness, crisis of perspectives and inadequate resource materials and persons. There is also a structural defect in the vertical relationship between the various levels of music education in the state. The paper further identifies public perception of music as a Christian subject as one of the obstacles to an effective music education delivery system in Nigeria. The paper concludes that until significant musical theories and conceptual approaches emerge from extensive fieldwork into Nigeria's diverse musical cultures, it will be difficult to develop and sustain an authentic and functional music education framework in Nigeria.

The Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay·, MD implemented a PC/AutoCAD based CAD/CAM system and used it to construct a series of 15 M (49 foot) buoy tenders. Implementing CAD/CAM is primarily a management, rather than technical, challenge. Performance-Based Management Techniques were used to develop the new system as an integrated whole, controlled and documented under ISO 9001. The process was cost-effective, required minimum retraining, was fully implemented in a few months, and was appropriate to a small shipyard building boats, but extensible as required to medium sized ships. The authors discuss:The use of Performance-Based Management and team-building techniques to help implement the process; The use of process management techniques to document, control and systematically improve the process in order to remain competitive; The process developed, including methods to allow varying levels of operator skill, geometry, weight and interference control, and development of automation techniques; The lessons learned, the results in productivity improvement, and the future path for continuous improvement
