Organic agriculture is a form of production that is controlled by all stages from production to consumption by using only the drugs allowed by the regulation and certified by control certification companies. Since the use of chemical pesticides in agricultural production, which increases day by day, remains in food as residue, it is dangerous for human health. Particularly because of the Pandemic affecting the world and various health problems, people become conscious of nutrition and prefer a production method that is friendly to human health. Organic Agriculture is an environmentally friendly way of production that gives priority to human health. Despite the favorable climatic conditions and fertile lands in the GAP region, we cannot say that organic agriculture has progressed sufficiently. In this study, the organic cultivation possibility and potential of olive and olive oil production, which is a consequential product for the Southeastern Anatolia Region, will be examined. In the study conducted as a compilation, the experience and observations of the researcher in the region and secondary sources, official reports and statistics were used.

One of the fundamental problems of the world humans live in is that the resources human beings have used to meet their needs are limited. These resources, when used correctly, are enough to meet these needs. The main problem here is the mistakes human beings make and them not being aware of making these. In other words, they are consciously or unconsciously destroying the world they live in with every action they have taken to create the civilization. In this study, we will focus on the subjects of damages brought out to the natural sources by agricultural and aquacultural production which is used to meet the need for food, and wiping the effects of these damages. In this context, we will also focus on the conditions of the organic agriculture principle application on aquacultural production, which has emerged as a solution to the threats targeting human health and to the environmental problems brought out by the agricultural production.

Organic agriculture consists of environmental and human friendly productionsystems in order to reestablish the natural balance which is lost as a result ofinaccurate and excessive farming practices. In others words, instead of usingsynthetic chemical pesticides and fertilizers, organic agriculture promotes organicand green fertilization, crop rotation, soil conservation, increasing plant resistanceas well as benefitting from parasites and predators. In addition, organic farmingrefers to improving not the amount of production but the quality of it. Due to thespread of diseases caused by pesticide and hormone residue on the products, peopleshow great interest in organic agriculture so as to lead a healthier life. Total organicagricultural production in the world is 4.516.810 tons, while in Turkey it is 353.173tons. As for Turkey’s organic agriculture, Uşak province has little share in itdespite its favourable climate and location. In this study, as a methodology, weanalyzed the existing data on organic agriculture in Uşak province and in Turkey aswell as in the total production in all over the world. And then, we compared thosestatistics with each other, finding that Uşak province, however great potential ithas, hasn’t been able to reach the desired level in terms of organic agriculture. Wefocus on determining the potential of Uşak province for organic agriculture.Furthermore, we aim to define the problems of organic agriculture and to findsolutions to them in order to make organic agriculture more widespread and morepracticable.

The diverse agro-climatic on the country has a direct impact on the natural nutrients of soil which are the key source of soil nutrition for organic cultivation. India covers 1.18 mm hectares of organic agriculture land which led the county on the 9th position globally in 2014-15. In this total organic area, 26% of the land is cultivable and rest 74% is covered under the forest or wild land. In the same year Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and, Maharashtra have been identified as having most organic agriculture area regions in the country. The country also has a leading position in organic production with consent increment in the organic producers throughout the globe. In the year 2014-15, the county has 0.55 mm producers which led the country on the first position in the world. The country exports more than 135 products including basmati rice, cotton and oil corps. In this review, article research had tried to analyze the significance of organic farming, export and marketing of organic products in the country. Agricultural production is one of the leading sectors in the world and in our country in terms of employment rates. Agricultural production activities, the importance of which is increasing day by day due to the increasing world population, is an important strategic element for every country. The economy of many countries, including our country, still depends on the products they obtain because of agricultural production. Appropriate agricultural policies should be implemented to increase the productivity in agricultural production, to protect the employed workforce and to ensure its continuity. In addition to establishing appropriate agricultural policies, employed workers should also be protected by laws, regulations and directives. It is a fact that most of the people employed in agricultural production in our country must work under dangerous and harsh conditions without being under legal protection, without union formation and union rights, as in other sectors. Protecting the health of agricultural production workers working under very difficult conditions due to variable climatic conditions, ensuring safe production and ensuring that the necessary Occupational Health and Safety measures are taken should be among the priority items when forming our state’s policies. In this study, the situation in the world and in our country was examined under the title of occupational health and safety in agricultural production. The hazards and risk factors to be encountered in agricultural production have been determined and the Occupational Health and Safety measures to be taken against them have been tried to be explained.

Conventional agriculture is among the biggest polluters of the environment. Overuse of synthetic pesticides, herbicides and mineral fertilisers have caused soil exhaustion, erosion, unbalance in the ecosystem, and their harmful effect on human health has been proven. This is why the author tried to point to the importance of development of organic agriculture, and olive growing as a traditional agricultural sector in coastal Croatia. The main intention is to show the basic geographical aspects of coastal Croatia and to explain the ways it can influence the development of organic olive farming. It is specially emphasized that organically produced food must be incorporated in Croatian tourist offer. It will stimulate a bigger interest for Croatia as an attractive tourist destination in the world tourist market and will simplify the sale of organically produced food. Development of organic olive farming will also contribute to the revitalisation of small villages where a strong presence of negative processes, such as deagrarisation, deruralisation and demographic regression is evident.

The article deals with the features of the Russian policy of agriculture support in comparison with the EU and the US policies. Comparative analysis is held considering the scales and levels of collective agriculture support, sources of supporting means, levels and mechanisms of support of agricultural production manufacturers, its consumers, agrarian infrastructure establishments, manufacturers and consumers of each of the principal types of agriculture production. The author makes an attempt to estimate the consequences of Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization based on a hypothesis that this will result in unification of the manufacturers and consumers’ protection levels in Russia with the countries that have long been WTO members.
