Introduction: the paper addresses the issue of enhancing the role of individual extramural studies for students of higher education institutions of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and searches for ways to form students’ attitude towardindividual extramural studiesas a significant component of the educational process. Aim: description and scientific substantiation of a pedagogical technology aimed to develop educational self-sufficiency in future staff of the penal system. Methods: theoretical methods (studying and analyzing psychological and pedagogical literature on the subject, pedagogical simulation) and empirical methods (survey, performance results analysis). Results: in the course of our research we formed a set of definitions and terms, the key one among which is “educational self-sufficiency”. Pedagogical simulation helped us describe distance educational technology based on interactive pedagogical communication using Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment (Moodle). This technology focuses on the development of cognitive motivation in students, and the motivation source is found in a professionally oriented educational dilemma. An educational dilemma serves as an informational and conceptual unit that covers the content of a certain topic and the corresponding competence laid down in the structure of an academic discipline. The empirical research we conducted has shown that the use of this educational technology actually mobilizes students’ cognitive activity and fuels their interest in learning and future profession beyond the topics intended for classroom-based studies. Conclusions: we have found out that the performance efficiency of individual extramural studies depends on how the teacher organizes external supervision. It should correlate with the inner needs of students and bring to the fore a wide range of cognitive motives: motivating directly, motivating intellectually, motivating prospectively. Being in line with these conditions, the educational technology we describe can be used on a large-scale basis. Keywords: educational self-sufficiency; educational process; pedagogical technology; cognitive motives; educational dilemma; electronic educational environment.

The development of new directions in both sports, physical education, and in the field of physical education teaching is an urgent and popular direction in modern pedagogy. This direction is aimed at fulfilling the tasks facing higher education, as well as at implementing state programs to promote the health of the nation. At the present stage of the development of education and science, it is important that state programs are combined with the requirements of Russian society, therefore teachers and methodologists are paying more and more attention to such a direction of health policy as yoga. The scientific and pedagogical study of yoga as an element of sports education is currently at the initial stage. Therefore, the information presented in the paper is of a unique nature: on the basis of a pedagogical experiment, the first conclusions were made about yoga elements integration into physical education and sports education in the new federal standard. The authors conclusions relate both to methods of solving the problem of motivating students in physical education, and to determining a set of universal competencies that it is advisable to form during the introduction of a new academic discipline based on yoga gymnastics into higher education. The paper emphasizes that the success of this task depends on the integration of the efforts of the state, higher education and fitness centers, which should become the basis for students to practice. The results of the experiment in the control and experimental groups of students give reason to predict that the wider use of yoga gymnastics in the educational process will significantly increase the effectiveness of physical education, as well as will also make graduates more competitive on the labor market.

The article is devoted to the significance of the irrational in education processes and to the role of teacher as an actor of psychological influence on the formation of child’s personality. Unfortunately, teacher education programs at universities do not properly introduce to the students all the aspects (including unconscious ones) of the interaction between people, in particular in the “teacher – student” system. At the same time, in the pedagogical literature there are no special works related to this issue. Psychological theories and methods of education, which are designed to form and develop a personality, can simply destroy the necessary qualities in a child that lead to his independence and self-affirmation. Teachers who are incompetent in pedagogical issues often defend themselves by appealing to the well-known names of scientists and their theories. The theories should not become a dogma and a main path in education. They should serve as an auxiliary instrument. The theory of education is obliged to revise the content and form of the organization of educational process in accordance with the understanding and sense of the rhythm of the New World, taking into account the integration of educational concepts that provide a balance of the rational and irrational in the cognitive activity of a student. This balance is necessary for the full and comprehensive development of child’s personality, for the formation of his/her identity. The author of the article believes that under the conditions of large-scale simulacrization, virtualization, digitalization of the educational space, it is necessary to strengthen the emotional component of the educational process to avoid the final elimination of the aura (W. Benjamin) of the class area from the sphere of human relations in the “teacher – student – teacher” system.

The purpose of this research in educational environment is to improve the quality of the educational process with the help of new information technologies. The paper examines practical issues of digital ecosystems implementation in education on the basis of relational databases, as, from the authors’ point of view, in the organization data are less subject to change in time than business processes. Therefore the strategy of information systems development where the database functions as a cornerstone provides the result, that is more stable than, for example, a functional approach in software development. Within the frames of this research information technologies of quality control in education are being created. They are intended for the exact and full representation of teaching materials as a system used as a source of information for the assessment of learning and teaching materials and creation of electronic resources on this platform. The structure of the created database, operation practices and topical issues of its introduction in more large-scale digital ecosystems are considered. As a result the database ready for use as a management solution for higher education institutions is created. This is important as information technologies provide additional opportunities for the development in the sphere of higher education, quality improvement of the educational process. The authors conclude that introduction of innovative information technologies in management system of higher education institution is relevant and perspective.

A characteristic feature of the vast majority of activity spheres in the modern education system is their systematization. The latest higher education standards center the teacher’s activity around the system and activity approach. That causes the need for its application in the use of information and communications technologies as a means of teaching a foreign language. We give the author’s definition of the term “methodical learning system”, which is interpreted as a component-related system of learning conditions, realizing its methodological potential through the interaction of participants in the educational process aimed at achieving the goal. This system includes five consecutive blocks, including: 1) prerequisites (modern requirements of the Federal Educational Standard of Higher Education), social order for training in the field of written academic discourse, contradictions between the linguodidactic potential of the study group blog, the lack of practical methods of teaching written academic discourse; 2) block target definition (goals and objectives of training); 3) theoretical justification block (list of principles of teaching written academic discourse, approaches to teaching written academic discourse); 4) functional block (organizational and pedagogical conditions, contents and methods of training, means and organizational forms of training); 5) evaluation block system operation results (components of evaluation of educational and cognitive activity, the learning process result). We note methodical system training integrity on the basis of property of integrativity promoting optimization of all components which general interaction is directed on achievement of the training purpose. The goal, for its part, is a system-forming element.

Considering the strategic directions of modern higher education, dominant personality-oriented paradigm, which determines the rejection of understanding the educational process as a path which interns must comply, can be called This paradigm provides a variety of methods and tools that match the individual personality as a subject of education. The purpose of this work is the searching for new paradigms of educational reform and its new models and technologies, innovative approaches, learning and education. Employees of the Academy were customized modification techniques "competing groups" in training doctors ‒ dental interns, whose meaning is "doubles competition." At the same time, three main components of the concept of critical thinking were basis of the systematization of techniques and strategies within this methodology: cognitive (development of mental levels), communicative (development of interactions) and reflexive (the development of professional reflection). The process of learning by this methodology is carried out in three stages: The preparatory stage involves the definition of the purpose and the task of a substantiated motivation. The conditional clinical situation should be in line with the current standard of higher education, which presupposes the presence of normative disciplines. Intern doctors can propose a problematic situation for discussion, based on the great interest in this topic themselves (the theme of the course work, the specifics of the place of future work, etc.), they can choose their "opponent" independently. The condition of the business game is the planned agreement of one member of the group with the other, he must reasonably and correctly proves the opposite. The main stage takes place as an independent work of interns on their task. For a well-grounded objection, doctors-interns should propose a variety of modern methods of clinical, laboratory, instrumental research, the use of certain therapeutic options, hoping for its effectiveness. At this stage, an important work is going on: each intern must receive the data necessary for "competitiveness", find evidence or refutation based on a specific approach to the problem (subjective, facilitarial, holistic, and interactive), which may indicate the implementation of personality-oriented learning . The phases of work with the information are determined: 1) recognition of information; 2) its review; 3) determination of the main; 4) comparison of the main and secondary; 5) information analysis; 6) its synthesis; 7) information characteristics; 8) its application; 9) information evaluation; 10) personal attitude to information. The final stage is the report of each competitive pair, presentation of results and project protection. An important point is the discussion of the results in the presence of all interns in a specialty that is conducted under the guidance of a teacher or a working group. The use of the technique of "competitive couples" in the educational process of interns of dentistry significantly increases the quality of knowledge. Problematic clinical situations form the ability to self-organization cognitive activity, the ability to perform operations of mental activity. The element of competition, the opportunity to reveal its theoretical and practical potential greatly enhances the ability of young colleagues to think clinically. The introduction of stimulating, encouraging, exciting methods in the educational process can remove psychological stress from interns' doctors, encourage them to self-improvement. As a basis that determines the use of the methodology of individual creativity in the practice of working with young colleagues, the humanization of education, as well as self-improvement, is a necessary condition for obtaining the individually required knowledge and skills.

The sphere of creative industries is the activity based on applying creative approach. Due to the complex composition of the areas of production attributed to creative industries, and the interdisciplinarity of approaches to their study, a consolidated position regarding their definition, composition, classification and essential characteristics has not been developed yet. At the same time, many researchers believe that activities in the field of creative industries have the ability to develop human potential. The inclusion of the topic, principles and approaches of the creative industries to the educational process of the higher education institutes of Russia conforms to the educational field development tendencies connected with the formation of necessary metasubject skills and abilities in present conditions. In those situations when there is no possibility and need for introducing specialized educational courses in creative industries into educational programs, the same positive results can be achieved by applying a practice-oriented approach to the disciplines, provided by curriculum plans, educational and work practices, and educational events. Through acquaintance with creative businesses, inventions of their own creative projects, students have the opportunity to expand the future professional field, to apply the knowledge, gained in particular from studying a wide range of disciplines, to solve real problems in public life. The practice-oriented approach in educational programs can be embodied in the forms of specialized educational programs, project seminars (competitions, incubators) and educational events. The article considers the practical examples of the specified formats implemented by “Creative Industries” Agency from 2015 to 2018 in partnership with a range of state institutes of higher education (Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences, Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Moscow City Government University of Management, Petrosavodsk State University, Siberial Federal University) and cultural institutions.
