The development paradigm in many countries is currently more oriented towards the service sector and industry, including the tourism industry. In the tourism system, the marketing strategy carried out on tourist objects is an important element in supporting the desire of tourists to visit. This study aims to determine and analyze whether expanded marketing affects the visiting decision Lawata Beach. This study uses a mix method quantitative and a qualitative. The population in this study are tourists who have visited lawata beach tourist destinations in Bima City. Sampling with purposive sampling technique, where the determination of the sample based on certain criteria that are tailored to the needs of the study. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people with the research instrument using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis used simple linear regression, partial test with t test. To test the effect between variables using SPSS (Statistical Service Product Solutions) version 20.00 and SWOT analysis. The results of the study stated that expanded marketing had a positive and significant effect on the Visiting Decision Lawata Beach Bima City and from the results of the SWOT analysis, the Bima City government had to always develop attractive tourist attractions, making Lawata Beach an economic creative area and adding supporting facilities on the Lawata beach, facilities and infrastructure can add attractiveness and increase competitiveness with tourist objects in other areas.

The aim of this research is to map the economic potential of the development of halal tourism in West Sumatra, and analyze the opportunities and challenges of developing halal tourism in West Sumatra. This research uses mixed methods. The location of the study was conducted in West Sumatra Province. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation data. The data analysis technique uses SWOT analysis. The results of the study show that West Sumatra has a very potential halal tourist destination. Tourist attractions in West Sumatra are one of the most popular tourist destinations in Indonesia. Supported by a variety of facilities supporting the halal tourism industry including the availability of good sharia-compliant hotels, comfortable worship facilities, and the availability of halal culinary centers. Tourism is one of the contributors to local revenue sources (PAD).

Waai village is one of the villages in central Maluku district, which has long been known for having beautiful, natural and attractive tourist attractions. The purpose of this study is to analyze visitors' perceptions of the object of ecotourism in Waai Village. The research method used is a qualitative scoring and descriptive method. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. Determination of the sample is done through accidental sampling technique. The results showed that the tourist attraction of Waai Village was Aer Morea uniqueness, mountain beauty, beautiful natural scenery, waterfalls, diversity of flora and fauna as well as climatic conditions of cool temperatures, and the completeness of supporting facilities for tourists. The characteristics of tourist objects are dominated by tourists aged 15-25 years, high school education level, student / student work, gender dominated by men, many visitors from outside the area, sources of information obtained from friends / relatives, tourist destinations for recreation. The perception of visitors to the Waai Village tourist attraction is in the very satisfying category (97%) in terms of the uniqueness of the attraction, accessibility, facilities, and other supporting services as well as the security of the tourist location.

The purpose of this research is to study and to analyze the pattern of tourist destinations to determine the excellence of attractions in each district in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, as a tourist attraction. This research uses qualitative research methods with sampling techniques using positive sampling. Data sources used are informants, tourist attractions, and documents. Determination of the advantages of a tourist attraction in a regency and even in the Special Region of Yogyakarta aims to increase the selling power or visitors of a tourist attraction and become an icon or mascot in the regency or region in Yogyakarta Special Region. From the results of the discussion, it was concluded that the most preeminent in the Yogyakarta Special Region was Tourism, Beach and Temple Villages. This study identifies the potential of tourism products in Sukajadi Village Bogor Regency based on ten (10) tourism components as well as its development strategy, which is currently included in the category of a newly developing tourist village. The results of this research are aggressive and serious development strategies in all aspects of the tourism component, namely increasing the quality and diversification of tourist attractions and activities, accessibility, improving the quality and quantity of tourism amenities, improving the quality of human resources & institutions, community support, land use, tourism industry cooperation, as well as marketing aspects. This research type is a descriptive qualitative with a case study exploratory approach. Primary data is obtained from direct observation and interviews with key informants, namely Pokdarwis and the Village Head, while secondary data is the result of literature studies and research documentation. The analysis technique of this research uses SWOT analysis and Matrix, analysis of the work program of the vision for tourism development of the Bogor Regency Government which refers to local government master plan for tourism development (RIPPARDA), and also analysis of the Cleanlines, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) guidelines.

AbstractIn this article we review research from the past decade that explores how elements of communication from social media and press articles influence the decision making for choosing a travel destination. ‘Fake news’ has the potential to impact opinions, expectations and behaviour of tourism consumers. Perceived as an important threat to modern democratic societies, the course of intentional false data dissemination is able to disrupt perception and throughout the normal functioning of state institutions and private companies. Hence, manipulation of information shapes differently the image of tourism destinations, accommodation units, cruise ships and even tourist attractions mostly in order to produce higher economic benefits. Unfortunately, sometimes ‘fake news’ spreading could be detrimental to tourist destinations and operators. In order to pursue, cope, absorb and adjust threats related to ‘fake news’, we will use and approach in a later work the aspects regarding a ‘societal resilience’

This study aims to identify geographical points of interest and tourism potential in Parner tehsil of Ahmednagar District of Maharashtra and to highlight the attractive tourist destinations and religious places in the region. To the introduced exact situation and importance of many wonderful, useful distinctive places and geographical point of interest in Parner tehsil. This paper is descriptive in nature and qualitative study based on empirical observations. This study based on primary and secondary data. All natural geographical, historical and cultural tourist centers were visited during study period. Parner tehsil is enriched of geographical, historical, and cultural tourism aspects. Suitable maps were prepared with the help of QGIS and ARC MAP software’s for the ease of tourists. Tourist attractions in the tehsil as is, natural beauty, potholes, caves, temples, ideal village, industries, festivals etc. Even though Nighoj potholes and Vadgaon Darya caves are famous geographical destinations but other places are neglected by tourism industry experts. This paper will also become much helpful for planner, tourists, historians, geographers and archeologists to access remote but well known destinations.

<p>Pariwisata ditegaskan dalam berbagai Rencana Strategis (RENSTRA) maupun Rencana Induk Pariwisata Nasional (RIPARNAS) sebagai andalan penggerak pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Aset berupa sumberdaya budaya dan sumberdaya alam yang dimiliki seperti keunikan wisata alam berupa wisata bahari dan berbagai event budaya daerah serta keaslian budaya dapat dikelola dan dimanfaatkan untuk bersaing dengan destinasi wisata lain. Kesemuanya itu untuk menarik wisatawan mancanegara maupun domestik untuk datang ke Indonesia. Salah satu program pemerintah dalam  pencapaian target tersebut adalah penciptaan 10 (sepuluh) destinasi wisata prioritas atau dengan istilah “Menciptakan 10 Bali Baru” yang tersebar diseluruh Indonesia, yaitu Danau Toba, Tanjung Lesung, Tanjung Kelayang, Kepulauan Seribu, Borobudur, Lombok Mandalika, Wakatobi, Morotai, Bromo-Tengger-Semeru dan Labuan Bajo. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan strategi pengembangan wisata bahari di Lombok, maka diperlukan langkah-langkah tata kelola destinasi antara lain inventarisasi kesiapan terhadap keadaan daya tarik wisata alam maupun budaya, dapat dimanfaatkan dan kesiapan aksesibilitas, amenitas serta akomodasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif  dan analisis SWOT. Dari sisi ekonomi, diharapkan berdampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sehingga peluang pemanfaatan dan pengembangan wisata bahari di Lombok Barat diharapkan dapat menguntungkan semua pihak. Hasil dari penelitian antara lain : perlunya strategi pengembangan wisata bahari yaitu mengembangkan fasilitas infrastruktur, terutama perluasan dermaga, meningkatkan kompetensi SDM melalui sertifikasi kompetensi  pariwisata dankerjasama antara pemerintah, industri pariwisata, akademisi, masyarakat dan media dalam rangka peningkatan pelayanan dan kenyamanan wisatawan,untuk mencapai target 20 Juta wisatawan mancanegara yang berkunjung ke Indonesia tahun 2019.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Kata Kunci:</strong> Wisata Bahari, Gili Trawangan, Analisis SWOT</p><p align="center"><em> </em></p><p align="center"><em> </em></p><p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT:</em></strong></p><p><em>Tourism is affirmed in various Strategic Plans (RENSTRA) as well as the National Tourism Master Plan (RIPARNAS) as a mainstay driving the economic growth of Indonesia. All of them to attract foreign and domestic tourists to come to Indonesia. </em><em>One of the government programs in achieving the target is the creation of 10 (ten) priority tourist destinations or with the term "Creating 10 New Bali" scattered throughout Indonesia, namely Lake Toba, Tanjung Lesung, Tanjung Kelayang, Kepulauan Seribu, Borobudur, Lombok Mandalika, Wakatobi , Morotai, Bromo-Tengger-Semeru and Labuan Bajo. </em><em>In order to achieve the goal of marine tourism development strategy in Lombok, it is necessary steps of governance of destinations, among others, inventory readiness to the state of nature and cultural attractions, can be utilized and readiness of accessibility, amenitas and accommodation. The purpose of this research examine the opportunistic behavior of the Manado City Government over changes in the General Allocation Fund (DAU) developed by Maryono (2013) and to obtain empirical evidence regarding the development of changes in the DAU allocation received from the Central Government and the opportunistic behavior of the Manado City Government over changes in the DAU throughout the 2014- Fiscal Year 2018. The approach used is a Qualitative Approach. Determination of key informants using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques carried out by: Unstructured Interviews, Passive Participation Observation, and Documentation. Data analysis is performed through Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion / Verification Activity. The results showed that the opportunistic behavior of the Manado City Government in responding to changes in the DAU: (1) Budgeting regional expenditure exceeds PAD as a source of regional income. Very high dependency behavior on DAU around 70 percent compared to PAD; (2) Non-proactive behavior towards developing the potential of resources to generate greater PAD contribution that exceeds or is balanced with regional expenditure expenditure, even though PAD can only finance 30 percent and is not fixed in nature; (3) Lack of developing a realistic attitude in formulating savings criteria in regional budgeting, especially savings in operational expenditure budgets to prioritize the use of the budget for the provision of community services; (4) Government's customary attitude to accept the fact that Manado City can only rely on the Service Sector due to the lack of natural resource potentialKeywords: Opportunistic Behavior, Local Government, General Allocation Funds.

The purpose of this study was focused on knowing the perceptions of tourists, both foreign tourists, about the craft of Karawo embroidery in Gorontalo Tourism Destinations. This research method using a quantitative approach itself is carried out using a questionnaire given to the public and tourists who visit the Karawo embroidery craft center. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability or non-random sample selection technique. The results showed that the quantitative approach itself was carried out using a questionnaire given to the public and tourists who visited the Karawo embroidery craft center. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability or non-random sample selection technique. The results of this study indicate that the Karawo embroidery craft has the potential to be developed as a tourist attraction in Gorontalo Province. Analysis of the attractiveness and perceptions of tourists who visit the Karawo embroidery craft center as well as the local community provide direction on the development of tourist attractions that are related to cultural aspects. The perception of foreign tourists in general gives a positive value to Karawo embroidery and argues that Karawo embroidery is unique from the manufacturing process and has its own characteristics with very beautiful motif designs.

The purpose of this research is to find out the communication strategies at the Culture and Tourism Office in promoting Banggai Regency tourism objects, while the communication strategies that have been carried out at the Culture and Tourism Office in promoting Banggai Regency tourism objects through print, electronic and online media, but not yet innovative so that messages that reach the public and tourists are not optimal in disseminating information relating to attractions. The method that will be used in this research, namely the qualitative descriptive method, uses qualitative data analysis interactive models that begin with data collection, then performs data reduction, presents data by drawing conclusions and verifies then SWOT analysis, analyzes based on the strength of factors Internal factors include strengths and weaknesses, while external factor include opportunities and threats. While the population observed was all employees of the Banggai Regency Tourism Office numbering 49 people, where the determination of the sample in this study used a purposive sampling technique, with informants totaling 12 people. The results of this study, using a SWOT analysis matrix of internal and external factors, that the strength that can be utilized lies in the management of new attractions based on environmental sustainability (green investment), and the use of more innovative media. While the opportunity lies in recruiting civil servants in the fields of culture and tourism, improving the quality of human resources, increasing the operational budget in the promotion of tourism, by maximizing this it can avoid the threat.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini, yakni untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi pada Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata dalam mempromosikan objek wisata Kabupaten Banggai, adapun strategi komunikasi yang telah dilakukan pada Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata dalam mempromosikan objek wisata Kabupaten Banggai melalui media cetak, elektroknik, dan online, namun belum inovatif sehingga pesan yang sampai ke masyarakat dan wisatawan tidak optimal dalam menyebarluaskan informasi yang berkaitan dengan objek wisata. Adapun metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yakni dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, menggunakan analisis data kualitatif model interaktif yang diawali dengan pengumpulan data, kemudian melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data dengan menarik kesimpulan dan melakukan verifikasi kemudian dilakukan analisis SWOT, menganalisa berdasarkan kekuatan faktor-faktor internal yang meliputi kekuatan dan kelemahan, sedangkan eksternal meliputi peluang dan ancaman. Sedangkan populasi yang diamati adalah seluruh pegawai kantor Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Banggai berjumlah 49 Orang, dimana penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling purposive, dengan informan berjumlah 12 orang. Hasil penelitian ini, dengan menggunakan matriks analisis SWOT dari faktor internal dan eksternal, bahwa kekuatan yang dapat dimanfaatkan terletak pada pengelolaan objek wisata baru yang berbasis kelestarian lingkungan (green invesment), dan penggunaan media yang lebih inovatif. Sedangkan peluang terletak pada perekrutan PNS bidang kebudayaan dan pariwisata, peningkatan kualitas SDM, peningkatan anggaran operasional pada promosi pariwisata, dengan memaksimalkan hal ini maka dapat terhindar dari ancaman
