ABSTRAK       Pelayanan Sekolah Minggu merupakan salah satu faktor yang cukup potensif dalam proses pertumbuhan Gereja. Lebih jauh lagi Sekolah Minggu merupakan wadah yang di pakai untuk mengajar anak-anak sesuai dengan pertumbuhan usia mereka. Pelayanan Sekolah Minggu membawa pengaruh yang positif terhadap pertumbuhan Gereja, karena anak-anak Sekolah Minggu akan menjadi generasi penerus Gereja yang melanjutkan tugas dan tanggung jawab Gereja sebagai saksi Kristus di tengah-tengah dunia yang penuh dengan tantangan ini. Tantangan yang akan di hadapi oleh Gereja pada masa yang akan datang semakin banyak di karenakan perubahan zaman dunia modern yang sudah tidak lagi mementingkan ajaran agama.   ABSTRACT         Sunday School service is one of the factors that is quite potential in the process of Church growth. Furthermore, Sunday School is a place that is used to teach children according to their age growth. Sunday School services have a positive influence on the growth of the Church, because Sunday School children will become the next generation of the Church who continue the Church's duties and responsibilities as witnesses of Christ in the midst of this challenging world. The challenges that will be faced by the Church in the future will be more and more due to the changes in the modern world era that are no longer concerned with religious teachings.

The study in this journal aims to provide entertainment and support in the form of psychic so that it can reduce the traumatic feeling experienced after the banjir bandang disaster. This trauma healing activity is very much needed and has a very important meaning for the Toraja Church Sunday School (SMGT) Children in the Rama Radda Congregation. For this reason, it is necessary for the Church's efforts to provide assistance in repairing infrastructure that has been damaged by flash floods, especially in handling the trauma experienced by Sunday school children, especially in their spiritual growth, because after all Sunday school children are the next generation of the church. , these children must be able to rise again from the trauma they experienced and be able to resume their lives with faith, hope and make their loved ones proud who died as a result of the flash flood.

‘Civilization’ was a major keyword in the Italian Catholic discourse of the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth. Indeed Catholic Christian civilization was seen as synonymous with true civilization itself insofar as the post-classical era was concerned. The concept of ‘Christian civilization’ was closely allied to that of cristianità, as distinct from cristianesimo (Christianity). The terms cristianità and chrétienté, like English ‘Christendom’, had originally had primarily geographical connotations, but in post-Revolutionary Catholic thought they acquired connotations of a Christian order of society under the leadership of the Church, the evils of the modern world being presented as consequences of its breakdown. The allied discourse on ‘Christian civilization’ itself in the Italian Catholic world, as in the French one, was in large measure reactionary in character, associated with Counter-Revolutionary ideology and with opposition to liberalism. It asserted that a return of society to the Church was a precondition of social order. Thus the myth of a lost universal order offered a paradigm for the future.

AbstractThe topic of this article is the effects that the writings of feminist theologians, many of whom are Roman Catholic, have upon Catholic students. The questions it attempts to answer are: Has feminist theology served to alienate American Catholics further from the church, discouraging them from identifying with the tradition or institution, or has it awakened them to retrieve the tradition in a creative way and to take responsibility within the institution and reshape it? The article further seeks to differentiate between spirituality, theology, and religious institution. How will Catholicism affect the larger culture if this generation is alienated from institutional identification? If they settle permanently on alternative forms of religious identification and spiritual fulfillment the face of Catholicism in the future will be even more conservative than it is today. However, feminist theology may be the basis for hope. Seriously attended to by the church, it could help to inform the consciousness of the next generation.

Teacher modeling in carrying out church mission is very important. The teacher as a spiritual leader is crucial for success or failure ministry in spiritual educational, as well as education in all life fields. All educational institutions require theachers not only to be good at teaching but also as role models, as well as in Sundy school education in the church there needs to be a model teacher. The Gospel of Matthew gives an example that Jesus is the example of creative teacher. Specially the verb of didasko (teaching) with various forms used nine times to describe the activity of Jesus as a teacher. The activity of Jesus is more often informed by the word teaching (didasko = teaching) rather than the verb of preaching (kerusso = preaching). That Is why Jesus called the Teacher as a creative teacher, the teaching methods used by Jesus are not monotonous but varies according to the place, circumstance and needs of His students or listeners. The purpose of this research is to describe the example of Jesus as a teacher according to Matthew, to describe the extent of the exemplary teachers of Sunday School of the GPdI “Bethesda” Merauke Papua to recommend the application of Jesus example as a teacher based on the Gospel of Matthew for Sunday School teachers in the GPdi Church. This research uses a qualitative approach; research paradigm, theological phenomenology, because it uses the interpretation of the text in the context of the Gospel of Matthew as a theoretical basis. Data source from 44 participants of Sunday School teachers in GPdI “Bethesda” Merauke. Methods and techniques of collecting interview data. Data analysis using the theory of Miles and Huberman. Conclusion: The Gospel of Matthew shows Jesus as the best teacher and can be emulated by all Sunday School teachers, example: in terms of His caling to receive a vision to serve, carry out a mission as a teacher, understand His purpose to serve in His personality is characterized, have integrity, charismatic, to be responsible, positive thinking, have ethos, nice worl, confidence, extensive knowledge, pull yourself together. In His spirituality includes centering on God, living in prayer, living righteously, living holy. In the professionalism of His ministry that is focused on goals and tasks, understanding children’s psychology, mastering teaching materials, skillful planning, skillful carrying out, skillful evaluating, skillful assessing as a communicator, as a facilitator. Having the ability to serve children is a thing, very important and can not be ignored because children are. The assets of the church and the next generation of God’s church. Therefore the role of a teacher in serving Sunday School children must be an important concern in a pastoral hearing, because church leaders and teachers have a great responsibility for the growth of faith in Sunday School children.

Children will later continue the baton of church service. They will be responsible for the condition of the church in the future. Sunday schools are present as church institutions to prepare them to become candidates for church leaders. The Church needs people who are willing to become Sunday school teachers. The fact is that it is not easy to become a Sunday school teacher, they must understand and learn about the various competencies that must be possessed to become a good teacher and servant of God. This study was conducted to obtain empirical evidence about the effect of teacher barriers on the motivation for Sunday school services in Jebres Javanese Christian Church Surakarta. The population in this study were GKJ Jebres Surakarta Sunday school teachers, totaling 20 people. In the study used data collection techniques that are considered suitable, namely questionnaire (questionnaire). In this study, the independent variables are barriers to Sunday school teachers, while the dependent variable is the motivation of Sunday school services at GKJ Jebres Surakarta. The collected data will be analyzed using correlation test and simple regression analysis at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that there was a very strong correlation between the obstacles of Sunday school teachers and the motivation of Sunday school services in Jebres Javanese Christian Church. The results also show that the constraints of Sunday school teachers have a significant effect on the motivation of Sunday school services in Jebres Javanese Christian Church. Abstrak Anak-anak nantinya akan meneruskan tongkat estafet pelayanan gereja. Merekalah yang akan bertanggung jawab dengan kondisi gereja di masa mendatang. Sekolah minggu hadir sebagai lembaga gereja guna mempersiapkan mereka untuk menjadi calon pemimpin gereja. Gereja membutuhkan orang-orang yang bersedia menjadi guru sekolah minggu. Faktanya tidak mudah untuk menjadi seorang guru sekolah minggu, mereka harus memahami dan belajar tentang berbagai kompetensi yang harus dimiliki untuk menjadi seorang guru sekaligus pelayan Tuhan yang baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris tentang pengaruh hambatan-hambatan guru terhadap motivasi pelayanan sekolah minggu di Gereja Kristen Jawa Jebres Surakarta. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru sekolah minggu GKJ Jebres Surakarta yang berjumlah 20 orang. Dalam penelitian digunakan tehnik pengumpulan data yang dianggap cocok, yakni angket (kuesioner). Dalam penelitian ini variabel bebasnya adalah hambatan-hambatan guru sekolah Minggu, sedangkan yang menjadi variabel terikat adalah motivasi pelayanan sekolah Minggu di GKJ Jebres Surakarta. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji korelasi dan analisis regresi sederhana pada tingkat signifikansi sebesar 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang sangat kuat sekali antara hambatan-hambatan guru sekolah Minggu dengan motivasi pelayanan sekolah Minggu di Gereja Kristen Jawa Jebres. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa hambatan-hambatan guru sekolah Minggu berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi pelayanan sekolah Minggu di Gereja Kristen Jawa Jebres.

Осмислено актуальні проблеми в реалізаціїсоціального служіння церков та можливі шляхи модернізації соціальноїполітики церкви. Автор вважає, що соціальна сфера не лише суспільства,але й церковного буття являє собою складну й динамічну парадигмудуховного й соціального розвитку сучасного світу. Вонахарактеризується низкою різнобічних параметрів, які окреслюютьпарадигми життєдіяльності людства. Оскільки особисте життя,професійна діяльність і місія християнина відбуваються у життідержави, то й будь-які зміни у ній приводять до змін у становищіокремої людини, і навпаки. Соціальна політика церкви є одним з головнихнапрямів місії церкви у сучасному світі і має відповідати теологічнійдумці християнства. Ігнорування релігійними громадами питаннясоціальної політики може призвести до втрати конструктивного йпозитивного впливу релігії на життя суспільства. The article describes the modern theoretical foundations of social policy ofUkrainian Orthodox Churches and the practical activities of religiouscommunities in the conditions of globalization processes. The interrelation ofthe social doctrine of the Church with public administration, political science,philosophy and sociology is shown. The actual problems in implementing thesocial service of Churches and possible ways of modernizing the social policyof the Church are comprehensively understood. The author believes that thesocial sphere not only of society, but also of Church life is a complex anddynamic paradigm of spiritual and social development of the modern world. Itis characterized by a variety of versatile parameters that outline the paradigmsof human life. Since the personal life, professional activity and mission of aChristian occur in the life of the state, then any changes in it lead to changes inthe situation of the individual and vice versa. The social policy of the Church isone of the main directions of the mission of the Church in the modern worldand should correspond to the theological thought of Christianity. Ignoring byreligious communities the issue of social policy can lead to the loss of theconstructive and positive influence of religion on society

Gaudium et Spes is a revolutionary document of Vatican II which can still inspire the Church now and in the future. This document is revolutionary in the sense that it deals with problems, issues and ideas that had never before become the agenda of any Council in the Catholic Church. Gaudium et Spes concretizes what John XXIII named aggiornamento, a process of contextualising the Christian heritage, through which the Church opens itself up to the modern world. This document is also revolutionary because it is entirely a product of the conciliar process of the Council itself. The hesitancy of French Catholic intellectuals to engage in public quarrels, and speak ill of their dead, has led to the forgetting of arguments and divergences of great importance to the background of Vatican II. It has been widely assumed that France's two most influential Christian intellectuals of the mid-century, Jacques Maritain and Emmanuel Mounier, worked hand in glove to promote what one historian has called a common “French Catholic Understanding of the Modern World.”* In fact, however, letters and diaries only known after the two principals were dead, have revealed deep differences between the two men at a decisive point in the evolution of modern French intellectual life. Maritain's reservations about the left-wing Catholicism and ecumenism of his younger friends remain quite relevant in our own day. In fact Maritain had, and kept, serious reservations about the new kind of Catholicism which Mounier and his new review Esprit articulated in the early nineteen-thirties but kept them private largely because of the secret danger of a known ecclesiastical condemnation for Esprit.

The importance of this community activity is carried out to provide assistance to the Tegalrejo Indonesian Christian Church in facing the New Normal. The objectives, firstly to provide assistance to the church, second to socialize to the Indonesian Christian Church Tegalrejo congregation, especially Sunday School children applying Clean and Healthy Behavior in facing the New Normal. The method used is the making of a Clean and Healthy Behavior videos with church administrators, socialization to Sunday school children. The result of this community service is a Clean and Healthy Behavior video for Sunday School children, an increase in the capacity of church administrators in arranging procedures for conducting worship, increasing the capacity of Sunday school children in implementing Clean and Healthy Behavior in the New Normal era.   ABSTRAK   Pentingnya kegiatan masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada Gereja Kristen Indonesia Tegalrejo dalam menghadapi New Normal. Tujuan, pertama memberikan pendampingan kepada gereja, kedua mensosialisasikan kepada jemaat GKI Tegalrejo terutama anak-anak Sekolah Minggu penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) menghadapi New Normal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pembuatan video PHBS dengan pengurus Gereja, sosialisasi pada anak-anak Sekolah Minggu. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah video PHBS untuk anak Sekolah Minggu, Peningkatan kapasitas pengurus gereja dalam menyusun tata cara pelaksanaan ibadah, peningkatan kapasitas anak-anak sekolah minggu dalam melaksanakan PHBS di era New Normal.
