ABSTRACT: Artificial airway suctioning is one of the key nursing skills that nurses should acquire during student period and maintains during their professional life. The current study is mainly intended to assess the knowledge and attitude among graduate nurses, Kerala. A quantitative descriptive approach was used as methodology with convenient sampling technique and data were collected using electronic forms. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. There is a mild correlation between knowledge and attitude score (r=0.199) and significant association can be traced with the area of experience and knowledge (chi-square=0.037) and the training undergone related to suctioning and attitude on practice related to suctioning (chi-square=0.000674). Background: COVID-19 pandemic causes the emergence of rubbish indicated containing COVID-19 or usually called as infectious waste. The household waste sources related to COVID-19 prevention are such as ODP (people in observation) who had done self-quarantine and used APD (self protection equipment) such as mask and gloves. The purpose of this research is to find out the correlation between knowledge and attitude of janitor towards household infectious waste countermeasure during COVID-19 pandemic in Manado city 2020.Methods: This research was quantitative research-observational descriptive approach with cross sectional method. This research was conducted in 4 temporary shelters obtained in Singkil sub district, Bunaken sub district, Pall Dua sub district and Wanea sub district. The samples were selected by using total sampling technique. Total samples were 100 respondents. The research instrument was questionnaire. The analysis used Chi Square Test.Results: shows that the janitors’ knowledge is good already 53%, attitude 60%, and there is no correlation between knowledge and janitors’ attitude towards household infectious waste countermeasure during COVID-19 pandemic in Manado city.Conclusions: The management and countermeasure of household infectious waste is an important effort to prevent the transmission of SARS-CoV-12 (COVID-19). Tighter monitoring is necessary and also education/socialization of household infectious waste countermeasure is needed during COVID-19 pandemic either from the behavior side or the facilities used.

Background: Almost half of the pregnancies are usually unintended. Inappropriate spacing between pregnancies can lead to maternal and neonatal complications. Awareness and education plays, a major role in combating this issue. This study was aimed to assess the knowledge and attitude regarding spacing methods of contraception among primipara mothers of Kolhapur. Material and methods: The descriptive study was performed on 110 primipara mothers admitted in hospitals of Kolhapur. A pre-validated study tool consisting of a questionnaire and a Likert attitude scale was used to assess knowledge and attitude of participants. Chi-square and Spearman's rank correlation test was used to nd the association and correlation between variables. Results: Good knowledge score was observed in 5.45% participants whereas, average and poor knowledge score found in 70% and 24.55% of participants respectively. A favorable attitude was noted in 53.6% of mothers and moderately favorable attitudes and unfavorable attitudes were observed in 43.6% and 2.7% mothers respectively. Asignicant positive correlation was observed between the knowledge score and attitude score -05 of primipara mothers (r=0.379, P=4.326e ). A signicant association of knowledge score (P<0.01) and attitude score (P<0.01) with the sociodemography of the participants was observed. Conclusion: Most of the primipara mothers had a favorable attitude regarding spacing methods of contraception but they are lacking in knowledge. The Socio-demography of the participants was signicantly associated with knowledge and attitude scores.

This study examines the strategic influence of promotion mix on the volume of aggregation and to know whether the marketing mix run by the Restaurant XYZ affect consumer spending. The theory used in this research is the promotion mix. The research design was conduced with a quantitative descriptive approach through an interview using quisionaire. Sampling method used is a purposive sampling technique with the number of respondents counted 200 people. In this study measure the influence caused by the promotion mix variables such as advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, public relations, and direct selling to increase sales volume. The results show that advertising variables are the most influential variabel of sales volume and the promotion mix simultaneously influences the buying decision of the customer. The findings of this research provide managerial implications that restaurant should not only focus on promotions costs for advertising alone, but also need to pay close attention to the allocation of appropriate funds to see the effectiveness of increased sales volume.

Anemia in pregnancy is a national problem because it reflects the value of the socioeconomic welfare of the community, and its influence is very large on the quality of human resources This research was conducted at Puskesmas Limboto. The purpose of this research is to findout the correlation of knowledge and attitude of Primigravida Pregnant Women with Anemia at Limboto Puskesmas Kabuapten Gorontalo. The type of this research is Descriptive Analytic with cross sectional approach with sample number 48 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. From result of analysis of SPSS 16 statistical test of knowledge with anemia using Chi-square formula with significance level 0,05 obtained result 0.013 <0,05 which mean there is correlation of knowledge with anemia at Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. As well as attitudes with anemia obtained results 0.000 <0.05 which means there is a correlationbetween attitude with anemia in the Work Area Puskesmas Limboto, Gorontalo District.Anemia pada kehamilan merupakan masalah nasional karena mencerminkan nilai kesejahteraan sosial ekonomi masyarakat, dan pengaruhnya sangat besar terhadap kualitas sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini dilakukan Puskesmas Limboto.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil primigravida dengan kejadian anemia di wilayah Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Desain penelitian ini ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan jumlah sampel 48 responden.Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil analisis uji statistik menunjukkan hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian anemia menggunakan rumus Chi- square dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05 diperoleh hasil 0.013 < 0,05 yang berarti ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian anemia di  Wilayah  Puskesmas Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo. Serta ada hubungan antara sikap dengan kejadian anemia diperoleh hasil 0.000 < 0,05.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of electronic media advertising and endorsement onconsumer buying interest in the physical sport shop in Tangerang City Mall. The period used in this study is 2(months) months, from July to August 2018.This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were 172 people who knewand used specs shoes as well as advertisements in online electronic media. The sampling technique used waspurposive sampling and obtained a sample of 63 people. Data analysis techniques used were descriptivestatistics, regression tests, correlation tests and hypothesis tests.The results showed that partially electronic media advertising had a positive and significant effect on consumerbuying interest, indicated by the count value&gt; t table (3.779&gt; 1.999) and a significance of 0,000. For theendorsement variable partially positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest is indicated by thevalue of t arithmetic&gt; t table (4,112&gt; 1,999) and a significance of 0,000. Simultaneously electronic mediaadvertising and endorsement had a positive and significant effect on company value, indicated by the calculatedF value&gt; F table (16.908&gt; 3.15) and a significance of 0.000. The ability of electronic media advertising andendorsement variables in explaining consumer buying interest is 25.3%, as indicated by the size of the adjustedR square of 0.253 while the remaining 74.8% is influenced by other factors not included in the research model.With the value of the multiple linear regression equation Y = 3.757 + 0.285 X1 + 0.418 X2. The value ofmultiple correlation equations is 0.503 which has a moderate level of relationship intervals.

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an endemic disease commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions. Community behavior and the role of health workers in DHF prevention significantly influence DHF incidence. This study purposed to determine the relationship between community knowledge and attitude and the role of health workers with DHF prevention in the working area of the Bakunase Public Health Center in 2020. The study design was descriptive-analytic with a cross-sectional study approach. The research sample was 99 respondents, taken by simple random sampling technique. Analysis of research data used the chi-square test. The results showed that knowledge (p = 0.003), attitude (p = 0.000), and the role of health workers (p = 0.004) were related to DHF prevention. Most respondents had poor knowledge but showed a positive attitude towards DHF prevention. Intensive counseling on DHF prevention is essential to ensure active community participation in DHF prevention activities.

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) originating from Wuhan, China began to emerge in December 2019. Until now, COVID-19 has become a global pandemic, and Indonesia has been one of the countries that affected by this virus since March 2020. Based on World Health Organization data on October 20, 2020, corona has spread in 215 countries and has infected 40.4 million people. And based on data from the Indonesian Task Force for Covid-19, the victims who have been infected have reached 369,000 people. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes about Clean and Healthy Behavior towards the prevention of COVID-19 in RW.03 Ciganjur Sub-District. The sample in this study amounted to 97 respondents in RW.03 Ciganjur Sub-District. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling and the data were analyzed using Chi-Square. This research aims to figure out the effect of Product Quality, Price and Stock Availability upon the Decision to Purchase Cable of Kabelmetal brand in DKI Jakarta. (Case Study at PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk). Sampling technique of this research is sampling probability using Simple Random Sampling. This research has applied 100 respondents using quantitative descriptive approach and is located in DKI Jakarta. Therefore, data analysis has applied statistical analysis of multiple linear regression test. Data is processed by using SPSS Version 21. Result of analysis using SPSS version 21 indicates that only two of the three hypotheses have affected significantly. Result of the research has identified that Product Quality has affected significantly the Purchasing Decision which is 0.005 < 0.05 and Price has affected the Purchasing Decision which is 0.000 < 0.05. However, the hypothesis that has not affected the Purchasing decision is Product availability which value is 0.529 > 0.05. Sampah merupakan masalah faktual yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat khususnya di kawasan permukiman perkotaan. Hal tersebut juga dialami oleh masyarakat di Kecamatan Alam Barajo Kota Jambi dimana produksi sampah rumah tangga lebih dari 68.567 kg/hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku warga Kecamatan Alam Barajo dalam mengelola sampah padat rumah tangga dan pengaruh variabel jenis kelamin, usia, tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan, dan sikap terhadap perilaku masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan 100 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling dengan instrumen kuesioner. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah jenis kelamin, umur, tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan dan sikap. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara jenis kelamin (0,017), usia (0,006), tingkat pendidikan (0,002), pengetahuan (0,002) dan sikap (0,000) terhadap perilaku warga dalam pengelolaan sampah padat rumah tangga. Disimpulkan bahwa perilaku warga Kecamatan Alam Barajo Kota Jambi dalam mengelola sampah rumah tangga tergolong baik dimana yang paling banyak bertugas membuang sampah dalam rumah tangga adalah pemuda (usia dibawah 60 tahun) yang berpendidikan dengan tingkat pengetahuan yang cukup. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin, usia, tingkat pendidikan, pengetahuan dan sikap warga terhadap perilaku warga dalam mengelola limbah padat rumah tanggaABSTRAKThe problem of solid waste is a fact problem faced by the community, especially in urban residential areas. It is also faced by the community in Alam Barajo District, Jambi City, where household waste production is more than 68.567 kg/day. This study was aimed to determine the behavior of the Alam Barajo District residents in managing solid household waste and the effect of gender, age, level of education, knowledge, and attitude variables on community behavior. This study was an analytic survey using a cross-sectional approach with 100 respondents. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling with a questionnaire as an instrument. The data collected were gender, age, level of education, knowledge, and attitude. Data were analyzed using a chi-square test with a 95% confidence degree. The results showed that there was a relationship between gender (0.017), age (0.006), level of education (0.002), knowledge (0.002), and attitude (0.000) towards the behavior of residents in solid households waste management. It was concluded that the behavior of the residents of Alam Barajo District, Jambi City in managing household solid waste was categorized as good where the most tasked with disposing of waste in the household were youth male (under 60 years of age) who were educated with a sufficient level of knowledge. There was a significant relationship between gender, age, level of education, knowledge, and attitudes of residents towards residents' behavior in managing solid household waste.

Introduction: Good nutrition is highly crucial for the Children’s development-mentally and physically. According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGAs), fruit and vegetable consumption focuses on health promotion, illness risk reduction, and chronic disease prevention. To gather all of the nutrients our bodies need, different colored fruits and vegetables must be consumed daily. Eat the Rainbow nutrition is about eating many fruits and vegetables of many different color every day, which offer different nutrients to the body. Objective: To assess the knowledge and attitude regarding rainbow nutrition among mothers and associate the knowledge and attitude score regarding rainbow nutrition among mothers with their selected demographic variables. Methods: The research design used for the proposed study was descriptive research                           design and the sampling technique used nonprobability convenient sampling technique. The population in this study is 14 years of child’s mothers who are living in urban area of wardha district. Results: The study result is 22% of mothers were having poor knowledge regarding rainbow nutrition, while 27 (54%) mothers had satisfactory knowledge and 20% subjects had had good and 4% excellent knowledge regarding rainbow nutrition and 74% of mothers were having unfavourable attitude (<50), 13 (26%) were having moderately favourable (51-75%) attitude and none of the mothers having favourable attitude (>75%) towards rainbow nutrition. Conclusion: After finding all results it was concluded that there is a need to improve the knowledge and develop a favourable attitude of mothers towards rainbow nutrition. The study result is 22% of mothers were having poor knowledge regarding rainbow nutrition, while 27 (54%) mothers had satisfactory knowledge and 20% subjects had had good and 4% excellent knowledge regarding rainbow nutrition.
