Toddlers in Indonesia experience a double burden problem, some children are obese but others experience stunting, emaciation, and malnutrition. Nutritional problems if not addressed will cause the Indonesian nation can experience a lost generation. The occurrence of malnutrition can be prevented if the root cause of the problem in the community concerned can be known, so that overcoming the problem of nutrition can be done more fundamentally through handling the root of the problem. The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of malnutrition, identify the implementation of efforts to overcome malnutrition, and formulate strategies to overcome malnutrition in South Kalimantan. This research is a descriptive study with a combination method combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed the number of malnutrition in South Kalimantan that was found in 2018 to September was 95 cases. Cases of malnutrition were found mostly with non-clinical symptoms. Most cases of malnutrition found with clinical symptoms are marasmus. Most of the cases in 2018 were caused by poverty + poor parenting + lack of sanitation. Efforts to combat malnutrition in South Kalimantan are not only carried out by the health department but also supported by cross-sectors which are included in sensitive interventions, including social services through PKH programs and non-cash direct assistance (literature, basic food distribution, business capital assistance, home rehabilitation) not living) and also the food security department through KRPL and CPP programs, and others. However, coordination between related agencies in managing malnutrition problems, especially at the district / city level, is still not optimal. High commitment from regional leaders is needed for the integration of all related sectors.

During the past decade, increasing attention has been paid to the primary care level of service for children and adolescents with mental health problems. In particular, a number of national reports have advised service commissioners and providers to increase the amount of specialist child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) support to primary care colleagues (Department of Health/Department for Education/Social Services Inspectorate, 1995; National Health Service (NHS)/Health Advisory Service (HAS), 1995; Audit Commission, 1999).

The article contains a literature review of clinical cases describing sessile serrated adenomas in the appendix from 1998 to 2018. Currently, it is still diffi cult to assess the true incidence of this pathology due to the fact that in most cases serrated adenomas are accidental fi ndings diagnosed after removing an inflamed appendix, since often, at small sizes, they do not cause clinical symptoms, do not bother patients and are inaccessible for endoscopic examination (if located behind its orifi ce). In addition, we present 2 clinical cases of sessile serrated adenoma of the appendix in patients who were admitted to the City Clinical Hospital No. 31 of the Moscow City Health Department in 2018 due to acute appendicitis, with a clinical and morphological characteristic, including a molecular genetics study.

Abstract The health care system should offer and provide a variety of services without undue delay. Due to numerous technical, financial and human resource constraints, not all services can be offered both without restrictions and in equal measure in places of different sizes of residence. As a result of qualitative and quantitative research, a map of accessibility to social and health services was drawn up, taking into consideration the division of the country into voivodeships with different population. Spatial analysis showed great diversity in terms of service availability. Voivodships with the highest accessibility of health and social services are Dolnośląskie, Opolskie and Świętokrzyskie, while the worst situation is in Wielkopolskie. Moreover, the article identifies the main problems that people with limited functionality encounter when using health and social services.

Population-level assessment and planning has traditionally been the role of public health departments but in establishing Primary Health Networks (PHNs), the Australian Government has instituted a new mechanism for identifying community needs and commissioning services to meet those needs. If PHNs are to achieve the vision of nimble organisations capable of identifying and addressing local health needs via integrated health and social services, several things need to occur. First, PHN funding schedules must become more flexible. Second, the Federal health department must maintain an open dialogue with PHNs, permit waivers in funding schedules to suit local conditions and be prepared to back innovations with seed investment. Third, health data exchange and linkage must be accelerated to better inform community needs assessments and commissioning. Finally, PHNs must be encouraged and supported to develop collaborations both within and outside the health sector in order to identify and address a broad set of health issues and determinants. By following these principles, PHNs may become leading change agents in the Australian healthcare system.

Abstract Purpose The aim of this study was to propose the qualitative and quantitative approaches to evaluate the skeletal muscle ultrasound images of 23 Pompe disease (i.e., acid maltase deficiency, AMD) patients and 14 normal subjects. Methods A cohort of 23 AMD patients and 14 normal subjects has been investigated. We compared the B-mode echo intensity of the rectus femoris muscle with that of its surrounding fat (subcutaneous fat) and proposed a qualitative grading method. Quantitative analysis of the region of interest (ROI) with the echo intensity and the segmented area was also performed. Results Qualitative results showed that AMD patients without clinical symptoms (without undergoing ERT) had the highest distribution of Grade 1, and AMD patients undergoing ERT had the widest distribution of Grade 2, and control group (n = 14) with the highest distribution of Grade 1. Using the segmented area approach, quantitative results showed that AMD patients undergoing ERT had the largest and widest distribution. Meanwhile the control subjects (normal subjects) had the lowest and the narrowest areas. The echo intensity of the segmented ROI of AMD patients undergoing ERT displayed the highest and widest (inhomogeneous) distributions. By contrast, the echo intensity of AMD patients without clinical symptoms was slightly increased and with low inhomogeneity. Conclusion The proposed ultrasonography-based qualitative and quantitative approach may be used to evaluate the severity of muscle destruction for AMD patients. Besides, the quantitative segmented area with regression analysis could help predict the incidence of onset of Pompe disease patients.

Good nutrition will be consistent with good health. In the clinical symptoms of malnutrition is the body's growth and not normal development. Nutritional status was the final result of the various factors that may relate to one anothers. Therefore, understanding how the nutrient problems should be the basis for a strategy for the prevention and mitigation. The nutritional status is directly influenced by two things, the adequacy of nutrient intake to meet the needs of the body and the infection status of a person, mutually influential, so fixing one of them is not going to fix the state of the other. The guidelines of balanced nutrition was the best solution in Indonesia visualized in Tumpeng of balanced nutrition. Data of nutritional health status and nutrition-related non-communicable diseases of data obtained from the Health Research by the Ministry of Health, 2010 and micronutrient status data, especially iron deficiency anemia status. The agreement of the World Food Conference in Rome in 1992 set of recommendations to all countries, particularly developing countries to replace the slogan-based "Basic Four" to "Nutrition Guide for Balanced Diet". This emphasis is based on the fact that developing countries have to face the double burden of nutrition problems (malnutrition and over nutrition). Principle slogan "Nutrition Guide for Balanced Diet": consumption daily diet should contain nutrients in the type and amount (portion) that fits the needs of each individual or age group. Consumption of food with this pattern should pay attention to four basic principles, namely: Diversity of food; Regular physical activity and measurable; personal and environmental hygiene are maintained; and monitor or maintain weight is always ideal.

Skin diseases are commonly observed day by day due to altered life style, improper hygiene, mental stress, over eating and nutrition deficiency. All the skin diseases in Ayurveda have been discussed under the broad heading of Kushtha, which are further divided into Mahakushtha and Kshudra Kushtha. Kapala kushtha is a type of Mahakushtha with symptoms like blackish red skin patches, which resembles pot sherds, dry, rough, thin, wide, of uneven edges with severe pain and less itching. It can be compared to scleroderma; the first specific clinical symptoms to suggest a diagnosis of scleroderma is skin thickening. Later the skin becomes hard, shiny, leathery and hardens like a stone. This article highlights a case study of Kapala Kushtha treated with the Ayurvedic principles in particular Shodhana Chikitsa; the therapy which expels out the morbid Doshas from the body. Kushtha is difficult to cure, so it is called ‘Dushchikitsya’ but by the application of Shodhana therapy, cure of the diseases becomes easier due to removal of the root cause. Here is a case study of 67yrs/female having signs and symptoms of Kapala kushtha. The patient was admitted and managed with Shodhana Chikitsa (purification) which included Raktashodhak Ksheer Basti (medicated enema) and Virechan (purgation) followed by Shaman Chikitsa (pacification) and the results with rationality have been depicted in this article.
