This study intends to conduct a study on the needs and competencies of teachers and border area development of education in District Entikong Sanggau West Borneo as an alternative means of problem solving to provide solutions as a foothold in the revitalization of educational equity in the border area. Data for this study were obtained from Cabdikpora, teachers and informants related. The techniques used for data collection was a survey and interview techniques. Data collection tool consists of methods of documentation, questionnaires and interview guides to collect qualitative information from the data source. The data were processed using descriptive analytic method. Issues raised in this study is the need and competence of teachers in the development and inhibiting factors in education based on the implementation. The findings of this study suggest that the urgency and attention management, and implementation of government policies for the development of human resources through education Entikong is needed. Collection is shows that the relevance of the teacher in the District border area Entikong still not proportionate and relevant, and should be done regularly coaching, and intensive scheduled to increase each line competency of teachers, both pedagogic competence, personality, professional, and socially by the local education office. Therefore, in order to provide guidance cabdikpora a comprehensive, well improved coordination between the members and managers of education in the district and the district education units and educators, improve access to information, to evaluate the data collection on a regular basis for the benefit of the administration and implementation of the completeness of data collection of learning, as a means of monitoring and evaluation for the parameters of the program's success in education and policy makers as a follow-up . Participate in the provision of facilities and infrastructure in procuring gradually related to the completeness of supporting the implementation of learning (laboratory equipment, technology, learning resources, instructional media, and so on), improve quality of service for the management, monitoring and evaluation as well as preparing and placing teachers who according to its competence

AbstrakPenelitian ini diarahkan pada kajian teks wacana pariwisata dengan pendekatan analisis wacana. Permasalahan yang dikaji adalah aspek kebahasaan pembangun kepaduan teks wacana berupa kohesi gramatikal referensi persona pada teks pariwisata di laman pesonaindonesia.kompas.com. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan aspek kebahasaan kohesi gramatikal referensi persona pada teks pariwisata dalam media digital yang hasilnya dapat dipakai sebagai salah satu dasar merespons tuntutan kualitas strategi komunikasi promosi yang kreatif.  Penelitian ini berjenis kualitatif deskriptif dalam linguistik. Sumber data berasal dari situs/laman pesonaindonesia.kompas.combulan Januari—Oktober 2019. Data berwujud teks wacana pariwisata. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak. Data dianalisis dengan metode agih dengan teknik ganti. Kajian ini menemukan pendayagunaan referensi pronominal persona yang difungsikan untuk membangun teks wacana yang khas dari teks pariwisata secara koheren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teks pariwisata menggunakan aspek-aspek gramatikal kohesi referensi persona pertama, kedua, ataupun ketiga. Referensi persona kedua mendominasi dalam teks pariwisata di laman pesonaindonesia.kompas.com. guna menciptakan keutuhan dan kepaduan wacana. Lebih lanjut, pemilihan referensi persona tersebut ditujukan untuk mendekatkan diri dengan pembaca dan terkandung implikasi persuasif bagi pembaca. Kata kunci: kohesi, referensi persona, teks pariwisata, wacana AbstractThis research is directed at the study of tourism discourse texts with the discourse analysis approach. The problem studied is the linguistic aspects of the building of the discourse text cohesion in the form of grammatical cohesion of persona references in the pariwisa text on the pesonaindonesia.kompas.com page. The aim is to describe the linguistic aspects of grammatical cohesion of references to charms in the tourism text in digital media, the results of which can be used as a basis for responding to the demands of the quality of creative promotional communication strategies. This research is a descriptive qualitative type in linguistics. The data source is from pesonaindonesia.kompas.com website / page from January to October 2019. The data is in the form of a tourism discourse text. The method of data collection is done by referring to the method. Data were analyzed by the method of distribution. The results showed that the tourism text uses grammatical aspects of the first, second, and third persona reference cohesion. The second persona reference dominates in the tourism text on the pesonaindonesia.kompas.com page. in order to create wholeness and cohesiveness of discourse. Furthermore, the selection of the reference persona is intended to get closer to the reader and has persuasive implications for the reader.Keywords: discourse, cohesion, personal pronouns, tourism text

The tight competition in the business world requires every business actor to develop business with various kinds of competition in all fields, one of which is by processing human resources, because the quality of human resources greatly affects the quality of production. The production process is usually associated with productivity, if productivity increases it will also be followed by an increase in the performance of the company. Human Resources is one of the keys to the success of the company in order to increase competition and improve product quality. The method used in this study is a descriptive type of qualitative approach. The data collection technique was through observation, interviews and documentation, the data source being from UD Slamet Situbondo. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of human resources on improving product quality. The results of the study indicate that the existence of quality possessed by human resources is very decisive for improving product quality in the future. For measuring product quality, it can be known through customer satisfaction, free from damage, the size of the durability of the product, product accuracy, and easy to operate and maintain. Meanwhile, from a marketing point of view, product quality is measured in terms of the buyer's perception of the quality of the product

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mendeskripsikan persepsi dosen model dalam efektivitas menerapkan lesson study learning community (LSLC), serta proses monitoring dan evaluasi dalam pelaksanaan LSLC pada proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah pendekatan kualitatif. Informan ditentukan dengan teknik purposive dan snowball sampling. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Data penelitian yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan pola interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana, meliputi: pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi LSLC sangat efektif dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya kolaborasi antar dosen model dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, perkembangan tingkat keprofesionalan dosen dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan sehingga berdampak pada kualitas pembelajaran yang lebih optimal. Selain itu, proses monitoring dan evaluasi oleh tim pengembang LSLC pada tingkat fakultas juga menambah keefektifan LSLC dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Abstract: This research was conducted to describe the perception of model lecturers in the effectiveness of implementing the lesson study learning community (LSLC), as well as the monitoring and evaluation processes in implementing the LSLC in the learning process. This research using a qualitative approach. Informants were determined by purposive technique and snowball sampling. The data collection process was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The collected research data were then analyzed using the interactive patterns of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, including: data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of LSLC was very effective in improving the quality of learning. This is evidenced by the collaboration between model lecturers in carrying out the learning process, the development of the professional level of the lecturers in implementing learning has increased significantly so that it has an impact on the quality of learning that is more optimal. In addition, the process of monitoring and evaluation by the LSLC development team at the faculty level also adds to the effectiveness of LSLC in improving the quality of learning. This study sought to determine the relationship between monitoring and evaluation (M&E) practices and academic staff motivation in higher education, from a Rwandan perspective. Particularly, the study aimed at describing the M&E practices applied, assessed how quality of feedback affects academic staff motivation, and determined the relationship between M&E practices and academic staff motivation. The study employed a mixed-methods approach to collect data from academic staff. A total of 105 faculties were sampled. The study established that M&E practices, including staff self-evaluation, students–staff evaluation, peer evaluation, and evaluation by supervisor, are applied at varying emphasis. Furthermore, both the supervisees and supervisors agreed that the quality of feedback provided during evaluation is fairly effective, although recognition of their performance is rarely appreciated. It was further established that weak to moderate correlations exist between M&E practices and academic staff motivation with “ r” varying from 0.268 to 0.4460. Although some indications for the direction of influence have been generated, the study, however, does not permit one-way final conclusion about the effect of any of the M&E practices to academic staff motivation. Based on the findings, this study recommends that policy makers design a policy on M&E, which would guide supervisors in M&E exercise.

KKG as one of Teacher Community expected to improve service quality and educational outcomes. The issues are, how the mechanism of cluster working groups of teachers in improving the quality of learning, whether the potential material and nonmaterial which can be used as a source of development of teachers in the management of learning, and how to support and empowerment of teacher working group in understanding and implementing the curriculum level education units. Data collection was taken by using questionnaire research and documentation. Questionnaires are used to reveal the mechanisms, programs, support and empowerment of KKG. Documentation are used to reveal data about the number of primary schools, learners and Cluster KKG. Results showed that the mechanism of development and management of the KKG is set through consultation according to the annual periodicity, further to enhance competence through sharing knowledge, skills and attitudes, test ideas, and discussion. The results suggest that preparation of KKG program tailored to the needs and problem of teachers in classroom learning, the importance of monitoring and evaluation continues with the instruments and the framework of implementation of SBC by every teacher in class need to attempt- efforts to obtain the support of various parties.

Penelitian ini menggambarkan mutu kepuasan pelayanan ibadah haji; untuk memperoleh gambaran mutu kemabruran jemaah haji; dan dampak alumni jemaah haji di tengah masyarakat setelah melaksanakan ibadah haji yang diselenggarakan oleh kantor wilayah Kementerian agama Provinsi Jawa Barat. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, jenis data yang di gunakan adalah kulitatif, sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan juga sekunder adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data dilakukan melalui penafsiran logika yang dihubungkan dengan konteks Manajemen Dakwah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, Kanwil Kemenag Jabar bidang haji dan Umrah dalam meraih kesuksesannya memperhatikan tahapan-tahapan, yaitu: Perencanaan; Pengorganisasian; Pelaksanaan pelayanan pada jemaah haji. Kedua, Mutu kemabruran jemaah haji didasarkan pada perubahan sikap jemaah haji yang lebih baik. Ketiga, Dampak alumni haji ditengah masyarkat. Secara umum penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa manajemen mutu suatu penyelenggara ibadah haji menghasilkan outcome dari alumni jemaah haji yang mabrur dan memiliki manfaat yang fositif ditengah masyarakat. This study describes the quality of satisfaction of Hajj services; to obtain a picture of the quality of the pilgrims' journey; and the impact of alumni of pilgrims in the community after performing the pilgrimage held by the office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of West Java Province. This research method using descriptive method, the type of data that is used is leather, the data source used is primary data and also the secondary data collection techniques used in the research are observation, interview, and documentation study. The data analysis is done through the interpretation of logic that is connected with the context of Da'wah Management. The results showed that: First, Kanwil Kemenag Jabar field of pilgrimage and Umrah in achieving its success attention to the stages, namely: Planning; Organizing; Implementation of service to pilgrims. Second, the quality of the pilgrims' pilgrimage is based on a better attitude of pilgrims. Third, the impact of Hajj alumni in the community. In general, this study can be concluded that the quality management of a pilgrimage provider produces outcomes from alumni pilgrims who mabrur and has a fossil benefits in the community.

This research aims to determine the effect of accrual-based application, internal control, IT utilization and HR competency on the quality of financial statement information. The research is a quantitative approach with primary data source. The population in this research was 29 Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) of Sleman Regency. The sample in this research amounted to 107 respondents taken using a purposive sampling. Data collection in this research using a questionnare. The data analysis using a multiple regression. The result of this research show that the accrual-based application, IT utilization and HR competency have a positive effect on the quality of financial statement information, while internal control has no significant affect on the quality of financial statement information.

One important element in the implementation of education is the principal, who has the task of supervising and fostering the pattern of ongoing teaching activities, for example supervising all teachers in schools to help improve the quality of learning and the performance of a teacher. Often teachers experience various obstacles, which can arise from various factors so that the learning process is less than optimal. Therefore, the principal needs to provide academic supervision to help develop teacher competence and professionalism. The purpose of this study was to determine how the principal's academic supervision of science teachers at SMP Negeri 20 Kupang and the constraints in implementing academic supervision. The approach used is qualitative. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data were analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the principal's academic supervision of the teacher had been carried out well, the principal had planned by preparing the supervision instrument and informing the schedule of supervision, the implementation of supervision using various techniques and principles. Evaluation and follow-up of academic supervision are carried out by discussing the results of supervision with the teacher, the school also holding workshops/training to improve and improve the quality of teachers in carrying out their duties at school. the implementation of academic supervision experiences obstacles that arise from the teacher, namely the lack of preparation of learning devices, the teacher does not master the material during the learning process and the teacher does not master the class, where it seems that students are difficult to control in the learning process.

This study aims to determine and describe the role of school principals in improving the quality of education in SD Negeri 4 Air Kumbang District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection tools use documentation, interviews, observation and literature review. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative analysis technique which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and ferification. The results of the study state that the role of the principal in an effort to improve the quality of education in SD Negeri 4 Air Kumbang District is carried out by establishing a program to improve the quality of learning by implementing a program to improve the quality of learning into the vision and mission of the school then the principal communicates the vision and mission of the school related to standards quality of learning; and improving the quality of education through interpersonal teacher competence by encouraging teachers to improve their competence and teaching ability. The principal should improve his competence so that the role can have a maximum impact in efforts to improve the quality of education.

This study intends to know the influences of service quality perspective Islamic on the satisfication and the customer loyalty of Grand Hotel Kalimas in Surabaya. In achieving the aim, this study uses quantitative approach particularly in path analysis. Questioner is used in this study as primary data source of this study, moreover the data sampling of this study taken from 30 respondents. Meanwhile, method of data collection uses probability sampling with accidental sampling approach.For the results, the writer finds that the quality of perspective Islamic gives significant impact toward the satisfication of the customer, but it does not give significant impact toward the loyalty of customer. However, the satisfication of the customer gives significant influence toward the loyalty of the customer, Islamic perspective of service quality indirect effect on customer loyalty.
