The article is devoted to the study of the problem of neuropsychological stability of future teachers and the description of the results of a pilot experiment in the framework of a research work on the topic "Personal potential of future teachers: determinants and dynamics". More than ever, today teachers are in the direct and figurative sense of the word, on the front line. Neuropsychological stability, or its opposite meaning – neuropsychological instability, is one of the leading markers of readiness for pedagogical activity in today's students, an indicator of the possibility of adaptive deviations, functional insufficiency of future teachers. The authors conducted a theoretical study on the stated problem and, on the basis of the selected theoretical provisions, conducted a study using the diagnostic method "Prognosis "and the diagnostic complex" Module" on young subjects. Based on the results of the study, the authors come to the conclusion that there is a need for a mass study of neuropsychiatric stability in young people, future teachers, and tell about the identified features of the NSU at the described age, in this sample.

Future teachers will have to develop the reading habit in their students, as this is an essential factor in schoolchildren. The lack of reading motivation among young people and the need to have it in order to transmit it has been evidenced. Young people often prefer to spend their leisure time using alcohol and other drugs rather than reading books for pleasure. The factors that influence reading motivation are varied, but the objective of this research work focuses on establishing the relationship between reading motivation and the problematic use of alcohol and other drugs in future teachers of Preschool and Primary Education. A total of 178 subjects among university students were recruited (56.6% girls). The ages ranged from 18 to 34 (M = 21.59, SD = 3.52). The first scale used was the MULTICAGE CAD-4 for behavioral addiction together with a Scale for Characterizing Motivation for Academic Reading (EMLA). The results of the study indicate that those young people who were more involved in the consumption of alcohol and drugs had a lower reading habit. Likewise, the study also reveals significant mean differences in reading motivation based on gender and age. This shows the need to enact healthy habits from the university related to increasing reading motivation and promoting the reading habit in future teachers.

The present research aimed to assess some predictors for experiencing traveling in a car with a driver who has consumed alcohol, in a group of young people, aged between 18 and 20 years, residents of Timis County, Romania. The study group of 1606 young subjects, 18-20 years of age, 51.4% pupils and 48.6% students, with girls being significantly better represented, was applied a transversal population study. Percents of 29.8% of boys and 28.4% of girls got 1-3 times in a car with a drunk driver, and 10.1% of boys and 6.5% of girls traveled in such circumstances more than 4 times. Boys tend to accept the risks of traveling in a car with a drunk driver significantly more frequently than girls. We identified some predictors for traveling with a driver who has consumed alcohol, such as the binge drinking model and the model of mixed alcohol and drugs consumption, the practice of alcohol consumption associated with vehicle driving by the father, as well as by friends.

Traumatic injury is the leading cause of death in young people in the USA. Our knowledge of prehospital resuscitation is constantly evolving and is often informed by research based on military experience. A move toward balanced blood product resuscitation and away from excessive crystalloid use has led to improvements in outcomes for trauma patients. This has been facilitated by new technologies allowing more front-line use of blood products as well as use of tranexamic acid in the prehospital setting. In this article, we review current practices in prehospital resuscitation and the studies that have informed these practices.

The implemented theoretical study has revealed various scientific positions aimed at: interpreting the concepts of value and value orientation; finding controversial positions and affinities in the use of “value” and “value orientation” concepts; identifyingambiguous positions on structural elements of value orientation and value formation mechanism. The purpose of undertakenresearch was theoretical, experimental and methodological in nature, outlining formation of value orientations in adolescence and youth ages. The developed definitions and determined structural components of value orientations allowed initiation of an experimental investigation of value orientations in adolescents and young people through which interrelation between the constitutive components of value orientation was confirmed, the specifics of values in adolescents and young people was emphasized. Outlining the specifics of value orientation structure led to identification of criteria, indicators and descriptors and to development and validation of a Questionnaire for Value Orientation Assessment. The results of experimental study laid the basis for development and recognition of a Pedagogical Model for formation of value orientations in adolescents and young people. The previously identified mechanism for formation of values and functioning of value orientations was transposed into the nucleus of the Pedagogical Model, which included the following components: behaviour, emotional states, attitudes, convictions, and values. In order to identify the methodology for forming value orientations in the formal, informal and non-formal educational environment, the principles of humanistic, constructivist and cognitivist education, strategies, conditions were highlighted, which ensure a dynamic progress in general development of the personality, implicitly of value orientations, and which is taken into account in framework ofa formative experiment. The data obtained from the validation of the developed Pedagogical Model confirmed its effectiveness and proved that it was a multidimensional one, which could be of great benefit to specialists in the field of Education Sciences and teachers from schools and higher educationalinstitutions.

Despite the fact that most young patients with hyperglycemia are diagnosed with type 1 (T1DM) and type 2 (T2DM) diabetes, up to 10 % of all cases of the disease are MODY diabetes. The most common types of MODY are GCK-MODY and HNF1A-MODY, therefore the investigation of their clinical and laboratory characteristics, including lipid spectrum indicators is of high clinical significance. The aim of this research work was to study the values of lipid spectrum indicators in patients diagnosed with GCK-MODY and HNF1A-MODY at the age from 18 to 45 years. Lipid profile parameters were investigated in 56 patients aged 18 to 45 years with diagnosed GCK-MODY and HNF1A-MODY by molecular genetic tests, matched by sex, age and body mass index (BMI). No statistically significant differences were found for any of the indicators, however, in patients with HNF1A-MODY, the decrease in HDL-C is determined significantly more often than in GCKMODY. Thus, the group of persons with MODY differs in the level of lipid profile indices depending on the type of MODY.

Introduction. The article considers the problem of the development of future teachers’ digital competences in creating foreign language multimedia tutorials and presents the results of the corresponding research conducted by the authors. In the context of the digitalisation of education, the foreign language multimedia tutorials represent an effective means of organising and integrating authentic audio-visual materials into the learning process. Nevertheless, FL (foreign language) teachers today face the problem of the lack of the competences, including digital ones, necessary for the development of effective multimedia tutorials, which cannot be created without the awareness of the methodological foundations of their designing, mastering of the relevant software tools and obtaining the corresponding level of digital skills of their usage.Aim. The current research is aimed to identify the effectiveness of the training course for future teachers in the development of foreign language multimedia tutorials based on authentic audio-visual materials. The training course was conducted at Academician E. A. Buketov Karaganda University among 30 graduate students.Methodology and research methods. The research work was based on the determination of four levels of training in the field of development of multimedia foreign language tutorials: recognition-based, reproductive (adaptive), heuristic, creative. Results and scientific novelty. The developed training course proved its effectiveness in increasing the level of development of digital competences of future FL teachers in the field of designing multimedia educational resources. The research results demonstrated that 80 % of the participants achieved the heuristic level in the field of the development of digital educational resources, namely multimedia tutorials, getting the required 60 % and more points (according to Bespalko V. P.) in the final assessment of academic achievement.Practical significance. The corresponding authoring experimental training course contributes to solving the problem of the development of the future FL teachers’ competences when creating multimedia educational resources, and to the problem of skills formation when using appropriate software to create multimedia educational resources.

The spread of addictive behavior among minors continues to be a dangerous trend about children and young people. Therefore, one of the most important areas of pedagogical activity is the prevention of addictions in educational organizations, as well as the training of pedagogical university students for being able to prevent addictions in children and adolescents. The study considers the structure of pedagogical university students’ readiness for the prevention of addictions in the educational environment, relying on a competence-based approach. We have proposed a characteristic of the model for assessing the competence of future teachers in the prevention of addictive behavior in children and young people. We considered the content of the training of future teachers for the prevention of addictive behavior based on the study of preventive pedagogy, and analyzed the main approaches to the prevention of addictive behavior in the educational environment. We presented the results of an experimental study and revealed the effectiveness of the training of pedagogical university students for preventive activities with adolescents.

The article focuses upon some aspects of the impact of English song names resulting from secondary nomination from the names of narcotic substances on young subjects. A large number and variety of song names of different genres encouraged us to introduce a special term «songonyms». As the research material, the name of the song LSD (performed by the rock band Hawkwind) has been chosen. It is difficult to clearly assume what effect song names have on the listener: whether they call for any actions, or, on the contrary, cause a protest and rejection. Therefore, in this study, it seemed important to verbalize the image of the LSD song name in the linguistic consciousness of young people and to reveal what implications this name carries - calling for actions or protest. By means of free associative experiment, according to the authors, individual meanings inserted by an individual into the song name are "revealed". The experiment has been conducted among 2-4-year students in one of the universities of Chelyabinsk. Through the making up of associative fields, it has been revealed that the song name LSD is perceived by young people not as calling for any actions, but as a protest element of rejection.
