The composition of "Mangaji" is a form of program work, which is based on the Minangkabau post-added oral literature as the idea of creating works. Oral literature, which is a presentation that always touches the life of the Minangkabau people, is reinterpreted by the author by looking at the aspects of oral literature that can become a new offering in the cultivation of musical compositions. The creation of  "Mangaji" uses four stages until the work becomes a complete series, they are: Initial Stimulation, Observation and Data Collection, Exploration, and finally composing the results of the exploration as material composition. The process of exploration in the composition consists of two forms, namely matching the source with the working idea and arranging the material from the previous matching results using the musical process. This process includes determining themes, sub themes, determining aspects of composition such as dynamics, developing motifs and cultivating tastes in each section. The composition of Mangaji is expected to be an alternative, reference, and recomendation in the cultivation of new works in the academic real or in a broad scope, as an educational benefit in the scope of new music creation..

Seismic events are physical vibrations induced in the earth’s crust which follow the general wave equation, making seismic data naturally conducive to audification. Simply increasing the playback rates of seismic recordings and rescaling the amplitude values to match those of digital audio samples (straight audification) can produce eerily realistic door slamming and explosion sounds. While others have produced a plethora of sucha udifications for international seismic events (i.e. earthquakes), the resulting sounds, while distinct to the trained auditory scientist, often lack enough variety to produce multiple instrumental timbres for the creation of engaging music for the public. This paper discusses approaches of sonification processing towards eventual musification of seismic data, beginning with straight audification and resulting in several musical compositions and new-media installations containing a variety of seismically derived timbres.

This study aims to determine the management of digital archives at the Syar'iyah Court Office of East Aceh Regency, Indonesia, as well as finding obstacles encountered in their implementation. This research is a qualitative analysis where the subjects of this research were officers who managed digital archives at the Syar'iyah Court office. The data collection techniques employed were interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the management of digital archives at the Syar'iyah Court Office has not been implemented optimally due to three conditions, namely: 1) The creation of digital archives is hampered due to frequent power outages in East Aceh and Sarana districts which are less supportive, and lack of resources. employees who understand digital archiving issues; 2) The process of borrowing archives carried out at the Syar'iyah Court Office has not been going well because it has not used archive lending procedures such as requesting archives, searching, retrieval of archives, recording, controlling, and storing again, to prevent loss of records; 3) Archive rediscovery still takes quite a long time, ranging from 20 to 30 minutes. The management of digital archives at the Office of the Syar'iyah Idi Court of East Aceh Regency should be improved by proposing additional archiving facilities, namely the latest model scan tool and additional employees who handle digital archive issues.

The paper discusses the cognitive mechanics of metaphorical name-giving with a focus on place names, following an overview of cognitive metaphor theory and the questions of metaphorically used proper nouns. In cognitive linguistics, the use of metaphors is a cognitive mechanism that plays a fundamental role in human thought and understanding, and the creation of our social, cultural and psychological reality. A particular form of this also manifests in name-giving, creating a small but influential category of names. The category of place names also influences the application of this name-giving method: it is generally used in more informal names and name types. The creation of such a name requires the speaker to detach themselves from the conventional norms of direct descriptionand metonymic name-giving, and relies on their lingual creativity and ability to detach themselves from dominant name-giving models. However, names in the category can also be divided into subcategories. Beyond the typical common-noun-based metaphorical name-giving, more complex parallels can also be found, resulting in the associations connecting the names of several nearby locations. Place names can also serve as the base of metaphorical name-giving, supporting the complex meaning of these names. Despite the fact that the majority of metaphorical names are available from contemporary data collection, it is obviously a long-standing and ancient method of name-giving, as it is based on a cognitive mechanics that seem to be as old as humanity itself.
