<p><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Masyarakat yang beragam sangat perlu dirawat keharmonisannya agar tidak menimbulkan kecurigaan, perbedaan pandangan yang mengarah pada kesalahpahaman, pertentangan dan berujung pada konflik. Sistem Kemasyarakatan <em>Dalihan na tolu</em> yang diorientasikan dalam nilai budaya masyarakat Batak Toba, Angkola dan Mandailing menjadi modal utama dalam membina interaksi dan solidaritas sosial antar umat beragama. Terjadinya silang budaya melalui adaptasi, akulturasi dan asimilasi antara masyarakat lokal dan pendatang menjadi cara dalam membina interaksi dan solidaritas social antar umat beragama di Tapanuli Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan observasi dan wawancara. Unit analisis dan informasi adalah masyarakat lokal dan pedatang. The Dalihan na tolu Community System which is oriented in the cultural values </em><em></em><em>of the Batak Toba, Angkola and Mandailing communities is the main capital in fostering interaction and social solidarity between religious communities. The occurrence of cross culture through adaptation, acculturation and assimilation between local people and migrants is a way to foster interaction and social solidarity between religious communities in North Tapanuli. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collected by observation and interview. The unit of analysis and information is the local and migrant communities. Bu makale, göçmen dövizi  akımlarında “düzensizlik” olarak ifade ettiğimiz, Türkiye’ye resmi kanallar dışında gönderilen enformel  göçmen dövizlerini, Birleşik Krallık’ta (özellikle Londra’da) yaşayan Türkiye kökenli göçmenler açısından incelemektedir. Her göçmen grubu, gerek ev sahibi ülkedeki düzenleyici çerçeve ve sosyo-ekonomik koşullar, gerek göçmen topluluğunun sosyo-kültürel değerleri tarafından belirlenen biçimde, farklı göçmen dövizi transfer biçimlerine eğilim sergilemektedir. Dolayısıyla farklı ülkelerdeki aynı kökenden göçmen toplulukları, ev sahibi ülkedeki dinamikler nedeniyle göçmen dövizlerinin formel ya da enformel (düzenli ya da düzensiz) gönderiminde farklılaşabilirken, aynı ülkedeki farklı ülke kökenli göçmen grupları da pek çok örüntünün etkisiyle farklı eğilim gösterebilmektedir. Nitel araştırma tasarımı kapsamında 27 göçmen ve 7 anahtar statüdeki katılımcıyla gerçekleştirilen yüz yüze görüşmelere dayalı olan bu çalışma, Birleşik Krallık’tan Türkiye’ye göçmen dövizi gönderimindeki düzensizlik olgusunu, her iki ülkenin sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel dinamikleriyle ilişkilendirerek incelemeyi ve nedenlerini ortaya çıkarmayı amaç edinmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, göçmenlik statüsü, gönderilen para miktar ve sıklığı ile geleneksel ilişki ağlarına olan güvenin yanında, Birleşik Krallık’taki sosyal yardım ve çalışma biçimine ilişkinin düzenleyici çerçevenin ve göçmenlerin sosyo-ekonomik durumlarının Türkiye’ye enformel göçmen dövizi gönderiminde temel belirleyici olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.ABSTRACT IN ENGLISHA Qualitative Examination of Determinants of Remittances Sending Behaviour Among Immigrants from Turkey in the UKThis article examines the causes of irregularity in remittances flows from the United Kingdom (UK) to Turkey, from the perspective of migrants from Turkey living in the UK. Each group of migrants prefers different types of remittance sending methods, as determined by the regulatory framework and socio-economic conditions in the host country and the socio-cultural values of the migrant community. Therefore, migrant communities of the same origin in different countries may differ in using formal or informal sending methods of remittances due to the dynamics in the host country. Similarly, migrant groups of different nationalities in the same country may show different tendencies due to the influence of many patterns. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of irregularities in sending remittances by associating with the social, economic and cultural dynamics of both countries. For this purpose, face-to-face in-depth interviews were conducted with 27 immigrants and 7 key status participants by using qualitative research method. The obtained results reveal that the regulatory framework relating to social assistance and labour market in the UK, immigration status, the frequency and the amount of money sent and confidence in traditional relationship networks is the main determinants of informal money transfers to Turkey.

Banyuwangi Jaranan Dance is a traditional art that is rich in artistic and cultural values, this dance is also very thick to the impression of magical and spiritual value. Jaranan dance is a very famous art in banyuwangi spread in several districts, such as District Banyuwangi, Kabat, Rogojampi, Kalipuro, Licin, Singonjuruh, Rogojampi, Giri and Glagah district. The usual research on Jaranan has been done a lot. From several studies on jaranan, this study is very different from the initial research that focuses on the initial research of jaranan art, the values / meaning of jaranan art, the art of jaranan performance, and the art of jaranan performance. This research is more focused on the culture of "Kesurupan" which includes the process of ritual possession, the meaning of possession and culture in ritual jaranan Banyuwangi. Researchers took data in three sub-districts of Banyuwangi, namely Jaranan Baluk Group, Glagah sub-district, Jaranan Karang Asem Group and Giri Sub-District, Tresno Budoyo Jaranan Group. Researchers use qualitative descriptive method with data recognition techniques, interviews and documentation.

This study aims to describe the cultural values ​​contained in the Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. Cultural value is very important to be studied in order to preserve the cultural heritage of the people of Aceh so that it can be known by the younger generation and re-cultivated in life in the present. The formulation of the problem raised in this study is how the cultural values ​​contained in the Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. The data source in this research is Hikayat Banta Amat Volume I and II by T. A. Sakti. The selected data is each quotation that has a relation to cultural values ​​in the saga. The approach and method used in this research is a qualitative approach and a descriptive method by describing the facts which are then followed by analysis. The cultural values ​​analyzed in Banta Amat sects are grouped according to five categories, namely (1) cultural values ​​in human relations with God, (2) cultural values ​​in human relations with nature, (3) cultural values ​​in human relations with other humans, (4) cultural values ​​in human relations with society, and (5) cultural values ​​in human relations with oneself. The results showed there were 37 quotations related to cultural values ​​that exist in the Banta Amat saga, namely: (1) Cultural values ​​in the human relationship with God there are 6 values ​​in 24 quotes; a) Give thanks to God 3 quotes, b) Give to Allah the Prophet 1 quote, c) Pray and ask God 9 quotes, d) surrender to God 8 quotes, e) Fear God 1 quote, and f) Obey to worship God 2 quotes, (2) Cultural values ​​in human relations with nature are found in 2 quotations about utilizing the forest, (3) Cultural values ​​in human relations with other humans there are 3 values ​​in 4 quotations; a) respect for others 2 quotes, b) say greetings 1 quote, and c) answer greetings 1 quote, (4) Cultural values ​​in human relations with the community there are 3 quotes namely about mutual care, and (5) Cultural values ​​in relationships humans with themselves there are 3 values ​​in 4 quotes; a) Never give up 2 quotes, b) responsibility 1 quote, and c) hard work 1 quote. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the cultural values ​​in the human relationship with God are more numerous than the other values. This illustrates that the people of Aceh are religious and devout people who worship God. Suggestions from researchers that the people of Aceh continue to preserve cultural values ​​such as the Banta Amat saga in daily life. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II Karya T. A. Sakti. Nilai budaya sangat penting untuk dikaji guna melestarikan warisan budaya masyarakat Aceh agar dapat diketahui oleh generasi muda dan kembali dibudidayakan dalam kehidupan pada masa sekarang. Rumusan masalah yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II Karya T. A. Sakti. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah Hikayat Banta Amat Jilid I dan II karya T. A. Sakti. Data yang dipilih adalah setiap kutipan yang ada kaitannya dengan nilai budaya dalam hikayat. Pendekatan dan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskritif dengan mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta yang kemudian disusul dengan analisis. Nilai budaya yang dianalisis dalam hikayat Banta Amat dikelompokkan berdasarkan lima kategori, yaitu (1) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, (2) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan alam, (3) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, (4) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat, dan (5) nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 37 kutipan yang terkait dengan nilai budaya yang ada dalam hikayat Banta Amat, yaitu: (1) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan terdapat 6 nilai pada 24 kutipan; a) Bersyukur kepada Allah 3 kutipan, b) Berselawat kepada Nabi Allah 1 kutipan, c) Berdoa dan memohon kepada Allah 9 kutipan, d) menyerahkan diri kepada Allah 8 kutipan, e) Takut kepada Allah 1 kutipan, dan f) Taat beribadah kepada Allah 2 kutipan, (2) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan alam terdapat pada 2 kutipan tentang memanfaatkan hutan, (3) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain terdapat 3 nilai pada 4 kutipan; a) menghormati orang lain 2 kutipan, b) mengucapkan salam 1 kutipan, dan c) menjawab salam 1 kutipan, (4) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat terdapat 3 kutipan yaitu tentang rasa saling peduli, dan (5) Nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri terdapat 3 nilai pada 4 kutipan; a) Pantang menyerah 2 kutipan, b) tanggung jawab 1 kutipan, dan c) kerja keras 1 kutipan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat bahwa nilai budaya dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan lebih banyak dari nilai yang lainnya. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa masyarakat Aceh adalah masyarakat yang religius dan taat beribadah kepada Allah. Saran dari peneliti agar masyarakat Aceh terus melestarikan nilai budaya seperti pada hikayat Banta Amat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: Hikayat, Nilai Budaya

<p>Education is a process of individual continuously learning and adaptation to the cultural values and social ideals. Education is a comprehensive process including all the aspects of life to prepare them to be able to face all the challenges. Considering the definition, we will see how dominant the aspects of human life style management in order to be in accordance with the universe are. An education process is expected to produce tolerance, egalitarianism, and skills to actualize one's self in the constellation of human life dynamics. It is also expected to produce peace and harmony as a part of ideal community with the educated people as the members. It means that the education process is considered failed if it produces totalitarian cannibalism that can easily arouse conflicts among people. Therefore, the understanding of an ideal Islamic education that is accommodative to the values of plurality and brotherhood among people should emerge. Finally, the values can be the source of aspiration in rearranging the religious concept of this nation to regain the peace that has once been disappeared because of the conflict among the religious communities, through education</p><p> </p><p>Pendidikan adalah proses individu yang terus belajar dan beradaptasi dengan nilai budaya dan cita-cita sosial. Pendidikan adalah proses yang komprehensif termasuk semua aspek kehidupan untuk mempersiapkan mereka untuk dapat menghadapi semua tantangan. Dengan mempertimbangkan definisinya, kita akan melihat betapa dominannya aspek manajemen gaya hidup manusia agar sesuai dengan alam semesta tersebut. Proses pendidikan diharapkan bisa menghasilkan toleransi, egalitarianisme, dan keterampilan untuk mengaktualisasikan diri seseorang dalam konvergensi dinamika kehidupan manusia. Hal ini juga diharapkan dapat menghasilkan kedamaian dan harmoni sebagai bagian dari komunitas ideal dengan orang-orang terpelajar sebagai anggotanya. Artinya, proses pendidikan dianggap gagal jika menghasilkan kanibalisme totaliter yang bisa dengan mudah menimbulkan konflik antar manusia. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman tentang pendidikan Islam ideal yang akomodatif terhadap nilai pluralitas dan persaudaraan antarmanusia diharapkan muncul. Akhirnya, nilai-nilai bisa menjadi sumber aspirasi dalam menata ulang konsep religius bangsa ini untuk mendapatkan kembali kedamaian yang dulunya lenyap karena konflik antar umat beragama, melalui pendidikan.</p>

Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan program pembelajaran dalam lingkungan berbahasa Inggris yang terdiri atas: perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran di kelas Kidergarten Ananda Mentari Playgroup and kindergarten Bumijo Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu 1 kepala sekolah, 1 guru kindergarten, 1 tenaga kependidikan, 1 trainer, dan 1 wali murid. Objek penelitian yaitu program pembelajaran dalam lingkungan berbahasa Inggris. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan menggunakan wawancara terstruktur, observasi, dokumentasi serta catatan lapangan. Instrument penelitian menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data penelitian diuji dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan program pembelajaran dalam lingkungan berbahasa Inggris menggunakan kurikulum adaptasi dari 4 negara, (2) Pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran, metode dan materi untuk anak didik menggunakan bahasa Inggris dengan jenis kegiatan eksploratif. (3) Evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan menggunakan checklist dan anekdot sesuai usia perkembangan anak. (4) Faktor pendukung program pembelajaran adalah kerjasama antar guru dan parents club. (5) Faktor penghambat program pembelajaran adalah persaingan dengan sekolah lain, lokasi tidak strategis, dan sulit mencari guru yang memenuhi kriteria AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe a learning program based on English-language environment which consist of study planning, implementing, and evaluating that applied in kindergarten class at Ananda Mentari Playgroup and Kindergerten Bumijo Yogyakarta. This study requires descriptive method and qualitative approach. The subjects of this research are one of headmaster, one of kindergarten teacher, one trainer, and one of student guardian. The object of this study is about learning in an English-language environment. The data collection techniques used in this research are such as structured interviews, observations, documentations also field notes. The instrument has a interactive model consist of data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. This study shows that (1) the learning program based on English-language environment planning is adopted from 4 countries curriculums, (2) the english based study implementation, methods, and materials for the students are using a more explorative activities, (3) class evaluation used by checklist and anecdote suited for children growth, (4) the supporting factors of the learning program are cooperation between teachers and parents clubs. (5) the inhibiting factor of the learning program is competition with other schools, the location is not strategic, and it is difficult to find teachers who meet the criteria.

AbstractForum Kerukunan Antar Umat Beragama (FKUB) is a mediating institution on interfaith harmony, especially in the city of Palangkaraya. The question is how the value model of socialization of the value of togetherness conducted by FKUB Palangka Raya city so that it can bridge the life of tolerance between religious communities in the city of Palangka Raya. The methodology of this study is to use a research and development approach with a modified analysis of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the working pattern of FKUB Palangka Raya works in accordance with the planned work program, proved to be able to handle several cases related to the establishment of houses of worship and its scope, prioritize the objectivity to produce mutually agreed decisions based on consensus reached agreement. The development of socialization of the value of togetherness is derived from several values such as the value of ideology (universal truth), religious values, cultural values. By way of coaching, intensive direction, then this togetherness attitude can be well established, especially supported by the value of local wisdom is the philosophy of "Huma Betang"

This chapter analyzes Russian cultural values and practices of service, with particular emphasis on the role of religiously inspired service in support of state goals of equality and justice. Over the past several centuries, Russia’s religiously affiliated assistance groups have consistently focused on redressing inequalities, whether those are social, cultural, economic, or political. Working both in cooperation with official projects and governmental bodies and in opposition to regional and federal policies, religious communities have addressed issues and operated in arenas that have in turn complicated and expanded what counts as worship, service, action, and even the intended beneficiaries of their work. As the examples documented here show, through activities of civic service and engagement, religious communities and their followers have challenged distinctions between religious and secular and cultivated new ethics of voluntarism and political activism.

The background of this research is the social diversity of Indonesian people. This situation causes conflicts among Indonesian people which need solutions to minimilize the effects of the conflict among the society. The study over the value of unification and harmony of the Religious Community Forum is one of the implementation of the unification spirit, the aspect of toleration, which needs to be spread out among the society. The goal of this research is to dig down how the Religious Community Forum works in  increasing the Malang multicultural society understanding over the value of unification. It is also to know how the Religious Community Forum increases the society toleration and the importance of unification among Malang society diversity.  Alt last but not least, the study over the unification value functions as a report of how the Religious Community Forum maintain the Indonesian people unification. This research use subjects of the Religious Community Forum members, religion leaders, government officers, and Malang people. The approach used in this research is qualitative with case study method. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interview, documentation, and participation. Meanwhile, the data is analyzed by using data reduction, data display, and verivication.The findings of this research are: 1) The activities done by the Religious Community Forum contain the unification value; the unification and harmony religious communities, conflicts and dialogues counseling, toleration, socialization over the government policy of the unification and harmony of diverse society; 2)The Religious Community Forum contains social aspects; the diversity value, toleration, pluralism, and the society unification,  which can be descended to the next generation; 3) The forum has some roles in maintaining and keeping the unification value of multicultural society through the activities applied in the society. Malang government supports and coordinates any institution works in society unification and harmony. The actions taken shows that the government are concerned on the unification of multicultural society. Thus, it can be concluded that the activities done by the Religious Community Forum of Malang contain the unification value

Purpose This paper aims to examine the migrant dilemma about operating extensively in migrant enclaves vs integration in host communities. Design/methodology/approach The paper is a critical literature review contrasting views and perspectives of the role of migrant enclaves in migrant integration and contribution in new societies. Research in the area of ethnic enclaves has been polarised: on the one hand, the optimists argue the critical benefits of migrant and ethnic community networks, thus downplaying potential drawbacks of such networks and the disadvantage externally imposed on migrants; on the other hand, the pessimists overemphasise the disadvantages of ethnic enclaves, portraying them as ghettos of alienation. Findings Based on the social solidarity integration model and immigrant-host and social interaction theory, the paper posits that migrant community networks could intentionally or unintentionally engender cultural alienation, worsening an already precarious educational, cultural and economic exclusion. Thus, migrants could remain in lower societal roles and experience limited upward social mobility if they operate exclusively within migrant and ethnic networks. However, ethnic enclaves, at the same time, offer the initial psychological nurturing on which future successful socialisation work with migrant communities can be built. Research limitations/implications From a research angle, the theorisation of migrant enclave requires a new approach, which identifies dynamism and contextualisation as central to the debate. Practical implications From a policy perspective, the research suggests the rethinking of the role of community support systems (and the wider enclave debate). The organisational implications the research suggests a shift of the organisational paradigm in the way migrant organisations manage themselves and support members in the enclave. Originality/value This paper’s contribution is to take a duality approach to studying the ethnic enclave and posits that this will engender effective social policy that helps reduce economic inequality.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of Giro Wadiah and Mudharabah deposits on the Net Profit of BRI Syariah. Research carried out by the unit of analysis Islamic Bank BRI in Bekasi. The method used in this research is descriptive method with data collection approach. Studies conducted through Primary data is data obtained directly from the research subjects in this case PT. Bank BRI Syariah and secondary data is data obtained from the research literature. The results showed that: (1) changes in demand deposits wadiah significant effect on Net profit in Syariah BRI (2) Changes in deposits mudaraba significant effect on net profit at Syariah BRI (3) Simultaneously Mudharabah Deposits Demand deposits and significant effect on the net profit at Syariah BRI.
