The risk of maternal death is higher due to the delay factor, which is an indirect cause of maternal mortality. There are three risks of delay, namely being late in making decisions to be referred to (including being late in recognizing danger signs during pregnancy), being late to the health facilities during an emergency and being late in getting adequate services by health workers. The main causes of maternal deaths in Indonesia are bleeding (28%), eclampsia (24%), and infection (11%). The cause of maternal death can be prevented by adequate prenatal care. Anemia is still a problem in the world, especially in developing countries. This condition can have a detrimental impact on every age group including pregnant women. In pregnant women, anemia can cause complications for the mother and the baby she is carrying, such as life-threatening bleeding, miscarriage, low birth weight and premature birth. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between parity, anemia, ANC visits, nutritional status and the role of health workers with the consumption of blood-added tablets in post-partum mothers in the work area of the Mutiara Barat Health Center in 2019. This type of research is a correlation analytic study with cross-sectional method. The population in this study were all pregnant women in the third trimester who were recorded at the Mutiara Barat Health Center in January 2019 as many as 139 people and the sample was the total population of 139 respondents. Data were analyzed using the chi square statistical test which includes univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The results obtained: there is a relationship between parity (p = 0.000), anemia (p = 0.016), ANC visits (p = 0.015), nutritional status (p = 0.021) and the role of officers (p = 0.000) with the consumption of tablets with blood added at postpartum mother. The dominant factor related to the consumption of blood-added tablets is the role of the officer. From the research results obtained, it is hoped that the Puskesmas can increase the knowledge of mothers about blood supplemented tablets through counseling so that it can influence the attitude of pregnant women to consume blood supplemented tablets. Keywords: ANC visit; anemia; consumption of blood added tablets; nutritional status; parity; role of officers ABSTRAKAnemia masih menjadi permasalahan di dunia terutama di negara-negara berkembang. Anxiety is something that afflicts almost everyone at a certain time in his life. Anxiety is a normal reaction to a situation that is very pressing for one's life. Anxiety can arise alone or join with other symptoms of various emotional disorders (Savitri Ramaiah, 2003: 10). Based on the results of the preliminary study, it is known that there are still mothers who experience anxiety about facing labor in PEB pregnant women, which is 29%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between coping strategies and the anxiety of facing labor in PEB pregnant women at Syarifah Ambami Hospital Rato Ebhu Bangkalan. This research method is Analytical, while the research design uses cross sectional. Independent variables are coping strategies, and the dependent variable is anxiety. Population, namely all pregnant women with PEB as many as 33 pregnant women with an average of each month. Samples taken as many as 30 pregnant women with simple random sampling technique. Data collection using questionnaires and HARS scale were processed using cross tabulation and lambda statistical tests. From the results of the study, almost half of 45.8% of PEB pregnant women with mild anxiety with adaptive coping strategies were obtained. Based on the lambda statistical test, get pValue = 0.045 and a = 0.05. Thus the results obtained p = 0.045 <a = 0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely there is a significant relationship between Coping and Anxiety Strategy in Facing Labor in PEB Pregnant Women at Syarifah Ambami Hospital Rato Ebhu Bangkalan. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for midwives that a high-risk pregnant woman also has excessive anxiety that can affect the delivery process. By doing so, health workers should be able to provide detailed information to pregnant women about the high risks they experience.

INTRODUCTION: Auxiliary Health Workers (AHWs) are the undergraduate 2nd  class health workforce of Nepal. Syndromic Sexually Transmitted Infection Case Management/Reproductive Health (SSCM/RH) training for AHWs is designed to develop knowledge, attitude and skills. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of the training in knowledge and practice of AHWs. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Achham district from where all AHWs were purposively selected for cross-sectional study. Total number of trained AHWs was 35 and untrained was 19, who were interviewed to fulfill the structured pretested questionnaire that included knowledge inventory and self reported practice. The data collected from29th May to 25th July, 2005. Written consent was taken from respondents after permission taken from Achham DHO. Statistical tests used were mean, median, SD, Mann-Whitney U test, Spearman's rho and chi-square. Values with p < 0.05 was considered significant. RESULTS : All AHWs were male, with mean age of 32.1 years. Regarding knowledge, the scores in all syndromes diagnosis and treatment regimen were significantly different in two groups except in two syndromes. Two practices were found significant. The median knowledge score was 20 (IQR, 16-22) and 16 (IQR, 12-20) in trained and untrained respectively. Similarly, median practice score was found 14 (IQR, 10-16) and 7 (IQR, 6-9) in trained and untrained respectively. In aggregate, both the practice score (U=38.5, p<0.001, two-tailed) and the knowledge score (U=205, p=0.020, two-tailed) of trained group significantly differed from that of untrained. Knowledge and practice score was also found positively and moderately correlated (P=0.616, p<0.001, two-tailed).CONCLUSION: The training was effectivein bringing about changes both in knowledge and practice of AHWs. The higher the knowledge level, the higher the practice level.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.3126/jucms.v2i3.11826 Journal of Universal College of Medical Sciences Vol.2(3) 2014: 34-37

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a condition where a person does not have immunity. The disease can be transmitted from pregnant women to the child they are carrying, in an effort to detect early HIV, VCT needs to be done. Karanganyar Community Health Center data in 2017 VCT service coverage for pregnant women in 2017 was less than 26.7%. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the use of VCT in pregnant women. This type of research is quantitative by using descriptive correlation method and cross sectional approach. The population is 70 pregnant women who were obtained by purposive sampling technique. Data obtained by closed questionnaire and data analyzed using frequency distribution and chi square test. The results showed knowledge about VCT examination included less (52.9%), attitudes included negative (55.7%), secondary education (52.9%), most did not work (67.1%), more than half received less support from their husbands (57.1%), and most did not utilize VCT services (72.9%). Factors related to the use of VCT are knowledge (p value 0,000), attitude (p value 0,000), education (p value 0,000) and husband's support (p value 0,000), unrelated factors are work (p value 0.196). The conclusion from this study factors related to the use of VCT are knowledge, attitudes, education and husband's support. Therefore, it is better for health workers, especially nurses, to provide nursing services to pregnant women, especially the use of VCT services as an effort in early detection of HIV in pregnant women.
