This study examines the effects of employee career management on organisational performance of selected banks in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. Quasi-experimental research design was employed. Target population for the study consists of licensed commercial banks in Umuahia but accessible population consists of 10 banks. Simple random sampling was used. Sample frames of 213 bank workers were surveyed through questionnaire administration. Sample size is 134 using Taro Yamane formular. After data cleaning, a total of 91 copies were found useful for data analysis. Spearman’s Rank Order Correlation Coefficient was used for data analysis with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Findings of the study show that employee career management is significantly associated with organisational performance. The study concluded that employee career management promotes organisational performance of banks. Drawing from the conclusion, the study recommended that financial institutions should encourage their employees by developing their career through training, seminars, conferences and educational advancement to update their knowledge in other to be competitive in the banking industry.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the extent to which selected personals factors contributed to pupils’ low progression in primary schools in Trans-Nzoia West Sub-County. The study adopted ex-post facto research design. The target population was 1815 teachers and 91 head teachers from 91 public primary schools. Data was collected from a sample of 313 teachers and 73 head teachers through self-administered questionnaires and data collection form respectively. Proportionate, stratified and simple random sampling techniques were used to select the subjects. Construct validity of the instruments was confirmed through piloting of the study. The teachers’ questionnaires were piloted in 5 schools in Bungoma North Sub- County and their reliabilities established after testing using the internal consistency method and Cronbach Alpha coefficient of 0.92 was realized. The instruments were deemed reliable as their reliability coefficients were above 0.7 threshhold recommended for social sciences research. Data was analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics with the aid of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21. Data was described and summarized using frequencies and percentages while hypotheses were tested at the .05 level of significance and using simple regression analysis. The results reveal that Personal factors influence progression of pupils in public primary school. The results of the study may inform the Ministry of Education, Boards of Management, parents and teachers in Trans-Nzoia West Sub-County and the country at large on factors to be addressed to enhance pupils` progression in public primary schools in the sub-county.

Purpose: Mwingi West Constituency has been a beneficiary of this fund, particularly in the financing of sports projects which have also stalled hence the need to establish the factors contributing to the condition. This study investigated the effects of public participation on the sustainability of the CDF sports projects in Mwingi West Constituency. Methodology: The study used descriptive research design and was conducted in Mwingi West Constituency where 101 respondents were sampled from a target population of 329 beneficiaries of CDF financed initiatives in the Constituency. Simple random sampling was utilized to get the required sample size which comprised of CDF project coordinators and managers. A questionnaire was designed, piloted, tested for reliability and validity and utilised to gather the required information. Statistical Package for Social Scientists (Version 22) was used in the data analysis process and the results were presented in tables and graphs. Findings: The data analysis indicated that Public participation was a very key factor in implementing sustainable CDF projects. It explained 73.1% (R square = 0.731) of the elements that affect sustainability of CDF funded sports projects in the area of study. Unique contributions to theory, practice and policy: Public participation should be adhered to at all CDF sports project implementation processes. The government should provide adequate funds to the sports projects to fully achieve the intended goals. The researcher recommends that other similar studies should be carried out on other projects apart from sports to widen the scope of the effects of corporate governance on sustainable CDF projects. The findings of this study continue to demonstrate validity of the arguments of agency theory. Based on the findings of this study, it is recommended that this theory may be used in future in similar studies as it provides some basic foundation of studying public participation and sustainability of public projects.

The research objective is to find out the effectiveness of Mathematics learning result by using multimedia auto play of East Kalimantan ethnic. The research is a quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. The population of the research is all sixth grade students of SD Fastabiqul Khairat in Samarinda City. The data collection technique is done by simple random sampling. The research sample is 50 students consist of 25 students for experimental and control groups. The instrument used in collecting the data is the test of Mathematics learning result. The prerequisite of data analysis is using Liliefors test for the normality test while for homogenity test is using Fisher test, with a = 0,05 obtained the sample from the normal and homogeneous distribution of population, while the data analysis technique is using t test. The research result is that the using of multimedia auto play of East Kalimantan ethnic is effective in increasing the Mathematics learnning result.

This study aims to determine differences in conceptual understanding of students who are taught using the Relating, Experiencing, Applying, Cooperating, Transfering (REACT) model with students who are taught using conventional models and to describe the improvement in conceptual understanding of students in class XI SMA Kemala Bhayangkari on Acid Basa material. The form of research used was a quasi experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design research design. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIA SMA Kemala Bhayangkari Kubu Raya for the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 62 students. The sample selection technique was carried out by simple random sampling. The data collection technique used was a test of students' conceptual understanding. Data analysis used Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene statistic, U-Mann Whitney and N-Gain calculation. The results of data analysis using the U-Mann Whitney test obtained an asymp.sig (2-tailed) value of 0.208, which means that there are differences in conceptual understanding between students taught using the REACT model and students taught using conventional models.. Based on the N-Gain calculation, it is known that the REACT model can improve students' conceptual understanding by 0.42 in the moderate category.

There is substantial literature on the relationship between ability streaming and academic performance among students. This literature however is scanty on the relationship between ability streaming and academic inferiority feelings. The main aim of this study was therefore to investigate the relationship between ability streaming and academic inferiority feelings among students who do not perform well. Alfred Adler’s theory of individual psychology forms the theoretical framework of the study. The study adopted a mixed methods sequential explanatory research design. It was carried out in Kisii County, Kenya. The target population was all the Form Three students in public schools in Kenya (593711 students). Proportionate stratified sampling was used to select the top, average and low-ranking schools in the county. It was further used to stratify schools into boys’ boarding, girls’ boarding, mixed day and boarding and mixed day schools. Simple random sampling was used in the selection of the 400 respondents from 20 schools to form the sample. The research instruments were questionnaires and an interview schedule for the students administered by the researcher. Personal and academic self-concept inventory (PASCI) was used to collect data on academic inferiority feelings and Stephanie Soto Gordon’s questionnaire was used to collect data on ability streaming from students. A pilot study was used to validate and ensure reliability of the research instruments. Both descriptive and inferential statistical procedures were used to analyze data with the help of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 20. The results were presented using frequency tables. The results showed that there was a relationship between ability streaming and academic inferiority feelings with most of the respondents having moderate feelings of academic inferiority i.e. 83%. Sex differences were found in ability streaming in regard to academic inferiority feelings. Boys experienced a slightly higher level of academic inferiority feelings with a mean of 67.11as compared to girls who had a mean 65.08. A major recommendation of the study among others was that the ministry of education should try to do away with ability streaming in schools which makes the students feel academically inferior.

<p>Influence of media usage of projection to learning result of Math, knowing the influence of media usage of projection to student learning result of mathematics. Methods in this study with quasi-experimental methods. Samples were taken by simple random sampling from a population of 110 students by taking 60 respondents who were determined to be experimental class and control class. Data analysis using descriptive statistic method and test technique requirement of data analysis with normality test and homogeneity test. The result of the research shows that the experimental class that is using the projection media has good or higher learning result compared to control class that is using conventional media. So it can be said there is the influence of media usage of projection to result of learning mathematics in wake up flat side room.</p>

The aims of this research were to investigate the influence of proactive personality on perceived career success, proactive personality on internal as well as external networking behavior, the influence of internal as well as external networking behavior on perceived career success, and to investigate the role mediating of internal as well as external networking behavior on relationship between proactive personality and perceived career success. This research was conducted at PD BPR BKK Purbalingga. Target population of this research was all employees in centre office and branch office which comprise of 129 people. This research used survey method with simple random sampling as sampling technique. Based on the calculation with Slovin formula, the sample size was 98 respondents. Furthermore, the technique of data analysis applied in this study was multiple regressions. Based on the result of data analysis, it could be concluded that proactive personality had positive and significant influence to perceived career success. Proactive personality has positive and significant influence to internal as well as external networking behavior. Internal and external networking behavior had positive and significant influence to perceived career success. Furthermore, internal as well as external networking behavior partially mediated between the relationship of proactive personality and perceived career success.

This research is motivated by the learning result of Social Sciences of second grade II students of primary school025 Teluk Binjai Dumai Timur which is still very low. This study aims to improve learning outcomes of SocialSciences students. From the data analysis there is an increase of both teacher activity, student activity, andstudent learning result, that is teacher activity at meeting 1 cycle I the percentage is 64% (enough) and atmeeting 2 increase to 76% (good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 increased again to 88% (very good) and at4th meeting increased to 96% (very good). Judging from the student activity also increased from the 1st cyclemeeting I was 62,5% (enough) and at the 2nd meeting increased to 70.83% (good). In cycle II the 3rd meetingincreased to 83,83% (good) and at the 4th meeting to 91.66% (very good). Judging from student learningoutcomes, the average base score of 60 increased to 70 in the first cycle of increase 10 points later in cycle IIincreased to 90 in cycle II large increase of 20 points. From the data analysis there is an increase both fromteacher activity, student activity, and student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the advancement of themodel of cooperative learning type make a match can improve the learning result of Social Sciences of secondgrade students of SD Negeri 025 Teluk Binjai Dumai Timur.

This research is motivated by the learning result of Social Sciences of Grade VI SD Negeri 022 Jaya Mukti KotaDumai which is still very low. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Social Sciences students.From the data analysis there is an increase of both teacher activity, student activity, and student learning result,that is teacher activity at meeting 1 cycle I percentage is 65% (enough) and at meeting 2 increase to 80%(good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 it increases again to 90% (very good) and at meeting 4 increases to95% (very good). Judging from the student activity also increased from the 1st meeting of cycle I was 60%(enough) and at meeting 2 increased to 70% (good). In the second cycle of meeting 3 it increased to 85% (verygood) and at the 4th meeting to 95% (very good). Judging from student learning outcomes, the average basicscore 63 increased to 75 in the first cycle of increase 12 points later in cycle II increased to 95 in cycle II largeincrease of 20 points. From the data analysis there is an increase both from teacher activity, student activity,and student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the Improved Learning Model concept map can improvethe learning outcomes of IPS students of class VI SD Negeri 022 Jaya Mukti Kota Dumai.

Background and Study Aim: The main purpose behind the study was to establish the challenges in relation to the acquisition of life skills among university student-athletes of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The study assessed the extent to which the concern existing resources, facilitators, and trainer attitude influences life skills acquisition among student-athletes. Material and Methods: Descriptive survey research design was followed to obtain desirable results. The target population of this study consisted of all those who participated in different sport at the university level of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan. Amongst them, we selected a representative sample (n=389 fifty 50% of the total population) with the help of a simple random sampling technique. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version, 24 was used to code and analyse the data. The hypotheses were tested by applying statistical tests like Step-wise regression and independents sample t-test. The significance level of 0.05 was fixed to accept or reject the set hypotheses. Results: Findings of the study indicated that existing resources, facilitators, and trainer/coach attitude significantly influences life skills acquisition among student-athletes (.001, .001 & .000 < .05). The analysed data revealed no significantly difference regarding extent to which specific challenges such as existing resources, facilitators, and trainer attitude influences the acquisition of life skills (.500, .133 & .149 > .05). Conclusions: The findings of the study revealed that all participants have agreed upon the importance of life skills. Therefore, the life skills course might be considered as an integral part of every educational curriculum of Pakistan. It is suggested that a minimum of 2 hours per week may be included in the educational curriculum of each discipline.
