About 40% of the world's human population has no place in their homes to wash their hands with soap and water. The prevalence of handwashing behavior with soap for school children in Indonesia in 2018 was 46%. In 2018 the behavior of washing hands with soap in Banten Province in the group of school children was 44.5%.  South Tangerang City has a prevalence of handwashing behavior with soap in school children in 2018 of 69.12%. This research was conducted to Factors Related to the Behavior of Washing Hands with Soap for Elementary School Age Children During the COVID-19 Pandemic at RT.008/RW.007 Pisangan, East Ciputat in 2021. Cross-sectional study design with 86 people as samples, the sampling done by total sampling technique. Data analysis used chi-square test (α = 0.05). Variables related to the handwashing behavior with soap are knowledge (p-value 0,038. OR= 3,4), facilities (p-value = 0,000. OR= 76,3), the role of parents (p-value = 0,005. OR= 4,5). While variables not related to handwashing behavior with soap are attitude (p-value = 0,132. OR = 8,1). Factors Related to the Behavior of Washing Hands with Soap at RT.008 RW.007 Pisangan, East Ciputat are knowledge, facilities, the role of parents. An active parental role is needed so that they can guide, teach and be an example for their children in good handwashing behavior with soap. There is a need for prevention actions such as the distribution of handwashing soap and pamphlets containing an invitation to wash hands and this activity is under the supervision of the Pisangan Health Center

Social media use: The role of parents' perceptions about social media impact in early marriageBackground: Early marriage is a marriage that is conducted at adolescence, the factors causing early marriage are socio-cultural factors, economic pressure, level of education, difficulty in getting a job, social media, religion and views and beliefsPurpose: To find out the influence of social media and the role of parents on the incidence of early marriageMethod: A quantitative research using descriptive analytical research method with cross sectional study design with variable use of social media with the criteria for the results "active and inactive". For the variable of the role of parents with 2 outcome criteria, namely "influential and not influential". And for the variable incidence of early marriage, there are 2 criteria, namely age 14-16 years and age 17-19 years, the questionnaire used has been through the validity of previous researchers. Then the results of the data obtained were analyzed in the SPSS program using the Chi Square testResults: From the Chi Square test results for social media variables obtained p value = 0.001, then the value of p = 0.001 <0.05 (α) while the role of parents variable Chi Square test results obtained p value = 0.022, therefore the value of p = 0.022 <0.05 (α).Conclusion: Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that, there is a significant influence between the use of social media and the role of parents in the event of early marriage Keywords: Social media; Parents, Early marriagePendahuluan: Pernikahan usia dini adalah perkawinan yang dilakukan pada usia remaja, faktor penyebab pernikahan usia dini adalah faktor sosial budaya, desakan ekonomi, tingkat pendidikan, sulit mendapat pekerjaan, media sosial, agama serta pandangan dan kepercayaan.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh media sosial dan peran orang tua terhadap kejadian pernikahan dini di Kecamatan Marioriawa Kabupaten Soppeng Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional study dengan variabel penggunaan media sosial dengan kriteria hasil “aktif dan tidak aktif”. Untuk variabel peran orang tua dengan 2 kriteria hasil yaitu “berpengaruh dan tidak berpengaruh”. Dan untuk variabel kejadian pernikahan dini ada 2 kriteria  yaitu umur 14-16 tahun dan umur 17-19 tahun,  kuesioner yang di gunakan sudah melalui uji validitas peneliti sebelumnya. Kemudian hasil data yang di dapatkan dianalisis di program SPSS dengan menggunakan uji Chi SquareHasil: Dari hasil uji Chi Square untuk variabel media sosial didapatkan nilai p=0,001, maka nilai p=0.001<0.05 (α) sedangkan variabel peran orang tua hasil uji Chi Square didapatkan nilai p=0,022, oleh karena itu nilai p=0.022<0.05 (α).Simpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat di simpulkan bahwa, Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial dan peran orang tua terhadap kejadian pernikahan dini

Abstract: Aggressive behavior is a physical or psychological action that is intentionally carried out to hurt another child, such as hitting, pushing, fighting, humiliating, insulting, spreading false or excusing issues. Violence is one of the issues affecting the practice of early childhood education. Purpose: To determine the relationship between the habit of watching violence on television and aggressive behavior in pre-school children. Method : this study used Descriptive analytic with cross sectional study  approach. 32 respondents of pre-school children participate in this study used total sampling technique. Data collection method used 2 quationnaire about the watching violance habbits on TV and aggressive behavior at child on pre-school. Date analysis used Spermen corelation test This. The Result of this study showed p value=0,04 with α<0,05. Conclusion: there was a relationship between watching violence on television with aggressive behavior in pre-school age children in GMIM Kindergarten Musafir Kleak. Suggestion: The results of this study recommend to provide benefits for parents in efforts to prevent the occurrence of violent behavior by children. Keywords: Watching Habits, Violent Impressions, Aggressive Behavior.Abstrak : Perilaku  agresif adalah  tindakan fisik atau psikologis yang secara sengaja dilakukan untuk menyakiti anak lain, seperti memukul, mendorong, berkelahi, mempermalukan, menghina, menyebarkan isu yang tidak  benar atau  mengucilkan. Kekerasan merupakan salah satu persoalan yang berpengaruh terhadap praktik pendidikan anak usia dini. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan kebiasaan menonton tayangan kekerasan di televisi dan perilaku agresif pada anak pra sekolah di TK GMIM Musafir Kleak. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 32 responden dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan 2 kuesioner yaitu kebiasaan menonton tayangan kekerasan di TV dan perilaku agresif pada anak pra-sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji Spearmen dan Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai p=0,04 yang berarti bahwa nilai α<0,05. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan yang erat antara  menonton tayangan kekerasan di televisi dengan perilaku agresif pada anak usia pra sekolah di TK GMIM Musafir Kleak. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi orang tua dalam upaya pencegahan terjadinya perilaku kekerasan oleh anak.Kata Kunci: Kebiasaan Menonton, Tayangan Kekerasan, Perilaku Agresif

Prevalence of stunting among school-age children around the world (5-14 years) is about 28% (171 million children), nationally 30.7%, while for West Sumatra 26.6% and Padang City is 37.1%. The prevalence of stunting from the results of screening conducted in grade I elementary school students in Padang was 5.14%, the highest prevalence was in SDN 09 Nanggalo by 30%.The purpose of this study to determine the determinant factors of stunting events in school children and its effect on learning achievement at SDN 09 Nanggalo Padang City in 2017. This research use Cross Sectional Study design, total of 332 children and sample 75 children. The statistical test used is chi- square on p-value <0.05. From the result of research of stunting student prevalence counted 16%, less half of students with low learning achievement (44%), determinant factor of stunting event is mother education, mother knowledge and energy consumption and protein and there is stunting effect to learning achievement. It is recommended to nutrition officers to regularly measure school children's height and weight to monitor the nutritional status of school children and teachers and principals to provide more activities that can improve learning achievement, such as holding additional lessons.

Age 4 to 6 years is a stage referred to as pre-school age, it is a golden period of child development, related to his social and emotional development, children begin to learn to manage their emotions. The thing which is often occur in pre-school age children is disobedience and tantrum behavior (temper tantrum). Child's emotional development is influenced by changes in interaction and communication patterns in the family. Communication between parents and children is very important, as a medium for bridging fellow family members. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between parent’s communication to children with child’s tempered tantrum. This study was quantitative with cross-sectional approach. The sample was parents (mother/father) of children who studied at the Nurul Hidayah Kindergarten. There were 58 respondents which was choosed by Stratified Random sampling technique. The results showed that the percentage of parent’s communication to children in the medium category was 31 respondents (53.4%), and children in the risk category of tempered tantrums were 34 respondents (58.6%). Analysis using the Chi-square test obtained the p value of 0.752 (p> 0.05). The conclusion of study, there was no correlation between parent’s communication to children and child’s tempered tantrum at the Nurul Hidayah Kindergarten, Simpang Empat, Tanah Bumbu in 2018. It was recommended that mothers do mentoring about all things related to child’s tempered tantrum.

Bullying is one of the most aggressive acts in the world. Previous research in Indonesia found that 7 of 10 children were exposed by violence in schools. Factors causing bullying need to be identified to prevent high bullying in schools. This research aims to determine the factors that influence bullying action include individual factors, family factors, peer factors, school factors and media factors in school-aged children. The type of this research was descriptive analytic with cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study were children of school age grade IV, V and VI. The total sample in this research were 94 students and the sampling technique was purposive sampling. The data collection tool in this research was the questionnaire. The statistical test used was the Chi-Square test. The result of  bivariate data analysis shows that there is a significant correlation between individual factor (p= 0,0001), family factor (p = 0,0001), peer factor (p = 0,0001), school factor (p= 0,0001), media factor (p = 0,0001) with bullying in school-aged children. It is expected to the school to improve supervision and counseling to the students. Parents are expected to pay more attention to the activities doing by children and control the development of children.

Bullying is a very common, complex, and potentially damaging among school-age children. This incidence has increased from year to year, especially in Yogyakarta. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the occurrence of bullying among school-age children in Yogyakarta. The research method used was quantitative with a cross-sectional design in 114 school-age children in the elementary schools in Yogyakarta. The samples were taken by simple random sampling technique. The research instrument uses a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square Test. The results showed that the bullying incidence was 51.8% dominated by the type of physical bullying which amounted to 62.7%. There were no significant relationship between sex (p-value = 0, 490), parenting style (p-value = 0778) with the incidence of bullying in school-age children. There were significant relationships between school factors (p-value = 0.001), peers (p-value = 0.024), intensity of watching television shows (p-value = 0.026) with the incidence of bullying in school-age children. It is expected that schools and community health nurses have a role in controlling bullying that occurs in schools

Globally, insufficient iodine intake is found to be the most common preventable cause of mental retardation that results in diminished immunity, decreased school performance and infant and young child death. Ethiopia is the first of the top iodine deficient countries in the world. About 12 million children (school age) get inadequate iodine. Community based cross sectional study was conducted on 792 school age children in Guraghe Zone, Ethiopia to assess the determinants of iodine deficiency. Multistage sampling technique was used to select the study subjects. Data were collected by using pretested questionnaire. Clinical examinations were taken following standard procedures. The collected data were entered into Epi-data and exported to SPSS for analysis. Descriptive statistics was calculated and presented accordingly. Bivariate and multivariable Logistic regression with odds ratios along with the 95% confidence interval was computed and interpreted accordingly. A P-value &lt;0.05 was declared as statistically significant association. Total goiter rate was 8.7%. Factors that had significant association with goiter were: School age children who utilized non iodized salt (AOR=3.12, 95% CI=1.73-5.63), those who consumed cabbage &gt;2 times per week (AOR=1.94, 95% CI=1.10-3.52), and children who got elder (AOR=1.22, 95% CI=1.10-1.41). The study area had mild iodine deficiency disorder. Non iodized salt utilization; frequent cabbage consumption and increased age of children were found to be predictors of goiter. Thus, Interventions should focus on universal salt iodization, besides familiarizing goiterogens to the community at large.

Tumbuh kembang pada anak terlambat bila tidak mencapai tahap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang diharapkan pada umur yang semestinya. Pengetahuan orang tua terutama ibu tentang tumbuh kembang yang memadai memberikan efek terhadap  rata-rata perubahan fisik, intelektual, sosial dan emosional anak dari tumbuh kembang yang normal. Committed in Improving the Health of Indonesia Children yang dirilis Pediatric of Society oleh Ikatan Dokter Anak Indonesia diperkirakan 5-10% anak usia dibawah 5 tahun mengalami keterlambatan umum. Data PAUD Hj. Siti Anisah menunjukkan 3  (60% ) ibu memiliki pengetahuan tentang tumbuh kembang cukup baik, keterlibatan ibu 100% mengasuh sendiri anaknya, kemandirian anak  terdapat 3 (60%) anak mandiri. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang tumbuh kembang anak dan keterlibatan ibu dalam mengasuh terhadap kemandirian anak usia pra sekolah. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional, sampel 36 ibu dan anak usia pra sekolah di PAUD Hj. Siti Anisah. Hasil uji Chi square pengetahuan ibu dengan kemandirian anak adalah  p value  0,000 dan  keterlibatan ibu dalam mengasuh terhadap kemandirian anak adalah p value   0,000. Adanya pengetahuan ibu dan keterlibatan ibu dalam mengasuh anak mampu memandirikan anak. Orangtua perlu  menambah pengetahuan tentang tumbuh kembang anak dan terlibat secara optimal dalam pola asuh anak. Kata kunci: pengetahuan; tumbuh kembang; kemandirian,  anak pra sekolah; keterlibatan ibuRELATIONSHIP OF MOTHER'S KNOWLEDGE REGARDING CHILD GROWTH AND MOTHER'S INVOLVEMENT IN PARENTING WITH CHILDREN'S INDEPENDENCE OFPRE-SCHOOL AGE ABSTRACT Growth and development in children is delayed if they do not reach the expected growth and development stages at the age they should be. Parents' knowledge, especially dealing with adequate growth and development, has an effect on the average physical, intellectual, social and emotional changes of children from normal growth and development. Committed to Improving the Health of Indonesian Children released by the Pediatric Society by the Indonesian Pediatrician Association, it is estimated that 5-10% of children under 5 years of age experience general delays. At Hj. Siti Anisah Pre-school, it was showed that 3 (60%) mothers had quite good knowledge about growth and development, 100% involvement of mothers in caring for their children, and 3 (60%) children were independent. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge about child growth and mother's involvement in caring for the independence of pre-school age children. This type of research was quantitative with a cross sectional design, the sample were 36 mothers and pre-school children at Hj. Siti Anisah Pre-school. The results of the Chi square test of mother's knowledge of child independence has p value 0.000 and mother's involvement in caring for children's independence has p value 0.000. The existence of knowledge and involvement of mothers in raising children is able to make children independent. Parents need to increase their knowledge about their child's growth and development and be involved optimally in parenting. Keywords: knowledge; growth and development; independence, pre-school children; mother involvement

Background: Teeth and mouth are important parts that must be kept clean, because through these organs various germs can enter. In general, dental and oral hygiene was very important for the health and well-being of the human body because it can affect the function of mastication, speech and confidence.1 Dental caries was an infectious disease that damages tooth structure and can cause cavities. Children age under 12 years old who suffer from dental and oral diseases can be affect with student achievement in school. A preliminary study conducted at SDN 2 Ngabean was 7 out of 10 children with dental caries marked with cavities, accumulating plaque and black teeth.Methods: Quantitative research with Cross Sectional study design. The population in this study were all students of grade 4 and 5 SD Negeri 2 Ngabean Boja District Kendal District in the academic at June 2017 amounted to 80 students. Statistical test using Chi Square. Iinstrument used in this study was a questionnaire of 14 questions submitted to respondents using Likert scale type. The statistical test used was chi square nonparametric correlation because independent and dependent variables use ordinal and nominal scale.Results: Results of research obtained from 80 respondents in school-age children in SD Negeri 2 Ngabean showed that of respondents students who experience dental caries as many as 48 students (60.0%), while students who did not experience dental caries as many as 32 students (40.0%). Based on the result of chi square test it can be seen that p value = 0.000 (p value <α) or 0.000 <0.05 then Ho was rejected, and Ha accepted.Conclusions: There was a correlation of tooth brushing habit with the dental caries incidence of school age children at the elementary school state Ngabean 2 Boja District, Kendal Regency.

The performance of nurses can be seen from several cases that occur in hospitals. The incidence of falls in patients, nosocomial infections, inadequate documentation is the result of nurses' low performance. Factors that affect the performance of nurses in hospitals are job satisfaction. So this study aims to describe the relationship between job satisfaction and nurse performance. This study used a cross-sectional study design with a sample of 85 nurses at Arosuka Hospital using proportional sampling technique. The research instrument used a job satisfaction survey questionnaire and the Individual Work Performance quasi (IWPQ) and statistical tests used frequency distribution and chi-square tests. The results showed that the majority of nurses' job satisfaction was in the satisfied category as much as 56.5% and the majority of nurses' performance in the high category was 51.8%. Then obtained a significant relationship between job satisfaction and nurse performance with a p-value of 0.000. So it is expected that hospitals can pay attention to aspects of nurse job satisfaction in making policies
