Traditional folk dances within the subject Music Culture find their application within the teaching area of the subject Performing Music. As teaching content of the subject, they contribute to the preservation of folk tradition and the positive attitude of students towards this area of our people's culture. By choosing teaching methods and approaches, traditional folk dances are also an educational tool for younger students. The paper also gives musical examples of traditional folk dances on the way they are performed. The purpose of this paper is to point out the importance and application of traditional folk dances in teaching Music Culture. The aim of the research is to examine different aspects of teachers' opinions on the application of traditional folk dances within Music Culture. The obtained results indicate positive attitudes of teachers when it comes to the application of traditional folk dances, as well as moderately positive when it comes to importance of traditional folk dances application

Starting from the fact that the school system of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia was shaped and conditioned by specific educational components, the paper discusses and presents the modalities on the basis of which, through the Music culture course, the idea of Yugoslavdom was implemented, and the awareness of primary school children about the existence of one nation having three different names was created. The focus of the research in the paper are the curricula and the syllabi, organization of the elementary school system and a striking teaching content - genre-different songs, by which the educational authorities sought to form a spirit of community among elementary school children in Yugoslavia. Based on the research on the specificities and organizational differences, as well as differences in the progression of primary education in different areas of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, the paper applied synthetic and inductive and deductive methodological approach, with the aim of defining common premises that contributed to the implementation of the idea of Yugoslavdom in teaching Music culture.

Abstract Student’s learning motivation and learning outcomes depend on the ability of the teacher to interest students, the chosen teaching methods and proficiency to manage the learning process. Teacher who can successfully choose teaching content, material resources and different teaching methods is able to cause interest about his subject. Teacher who is interested in teaching process himself can help students to learn a subject. The aim of the study was to find out the Latvian teachers' opinion about the disturbing factors affecting the achievement of high learning outcomes for students, the most suitable teaching methods and the possibilities to make lessons interesting. The survey of teachers of different schools in Latvia regarding their students’ learning motivation was carried out. The data from 482 teachers’ answers were analysed. The results of the research showed that the majority of surveyed teachers consider that learning motivation of Latvia students has decreased during the last few years. Teachers point out several factors, which do not allow students to reach high learning outcomes, the most important of them are: the inability of students to link career and success with learning and lack of life goals; inability of students to concentrate attention during lessons; indisposition of students to do homework. The teachers consider laboratory works, discussions, project works, group works and teacher’s presentations and narrative of new material as the most suitable teaching methods. Teachers consider that the most important personality trait of teachers and learning motivation for students to improve their skills is the teacher’s ability to teach the subject in an interesting way. Teachers believe that lessons can be made interesting if modern technologies and teaching methods are used during lessons and when the teacher is able to connect the subject with real life.

This research implemented learner-centered teaching methods in order to effectively improve students‟ English language skills, specifically for PKK students in Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University. Learner-centered teaching methods are used to make students more active and provide students the opportunities to learn independently. These methods can increase students‟ motivation to learn, deeper understanding, and more positive attitudes toward the subject being taught. The formulated research question in this research is “How can learner-centered teaching methods improve PKK students‟ English language skills?” Classroom action research is the chosen method to gather and analyze the data. The data was taken from 70 students of PKK students in the even semester from February till July 2016. Learner-centered teaching methods that were applied are creating procedural texts, conducting interviews in English and performing role plays in the class. These methods are effectively proven to improve students‟ English language skills and turn students into autonomous learners.Keywords : Learner-centered teaching methods, action research.

This article states the need to change the approach, as well as the forms and methods of teaching in the process of developing students' speech within the subject "The Russian language and Culture of speech". The purpose of the study is to describe the ways of active teaching methods application in order to improve students' speech culture. The author notes that modern teaching methods have ceased to respond to the needs of society and do not contribute to successful socialization of university graduates. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the author proposes that the work on a text (in the broad sense of the term) should become the main one in the teaching process. . The author proposes an updated process model of trainingenumerates those teaching forms and methods that contribute to the successful implementation of the model, describes the conditions of using these methods in the educational process. According to the author, the modeling of problem-based situations, the use of active teaching forms and methods reveal new opportunities to the teacher, help to develop students' communicative competence, and will largely determine further successful socialization of graduates.

There are various factors influencing a student’s academic achievement at any level, either primary, secondary or tertiary. These factors include attitudes, learning techniques, general interest in the subject matter, factors related to teacher, family or friends, previous achievements, teaching and learning environment and facilities, infrastructure, and teaching methods. This article explores factors affecting the achievement of student of a course offered in the economic program of universitiutaramalaysia. For this article, a total of 220 students who registered for macroeconomics course at universitiutaramalaysia were randomly selected to be the study sample. of the 220 responses, only 211 were analysed because some questionnaire forms was returned with incomplete information. these students consist of second, third and fourth year students. The study found that among the items in the lecturer preparation factor which came with high mean scores is the item "lecturer shows dedication in teaching". There is no denying that teaching and learning methods incorporating the latest technology and trends are desirable but the study shows that teaching using longstanding approach like using whiteboards is still preferable among students and gives the highest mean value of 7.44, which is a high level score. In terms of learning techniques, the study found that students are not consistent between the goals to achieve excellence with the appropriate effort taken by them. although they want to achieve high excellence in this subject but their efforts and actions are not inclined to that desire

This study aimed to identify the common teaching methods of vocational education teachers in Al- Mafraq Governorate in Jordan through application to a sample of (180) male and female teachers. And a tool for the study was developed consisting of (20) paragraphs, and after making sure of the tool's sincerity and its stability. The study reached the following results: that professional education teachers use a variety of teaching methods, some of which are traditional and others are modern, noting that (practical presentation style, project method, problem solving method, and method of dialogue and discussion) is the most common among professional education teachers, and that justifications Usage is mainly due to the appropriate occasion of the content of the subject of vocational education, the importance of the appropriate method to develop student discovery skills, and employing the method that makes the student the focus of educational process, and there were no statistically significant differences attributable to gender variations or the educational qualification in Yen differences appeared statistically significant Tazly variable experience on common teaching methods of professional education teachers in favor of the experience category 5-10 years. The researcher recommended a number of recommendations, the most important of which were: holding training courses for vocational education teachers in order to train them on how to choose appropriate teaching methods for the vocational education course, and the need to prepare evidence that shows the steps for teaching the content of the vocational education curriculum for professional education teachers to use when employing modern teaching methods.

Abstract: The subject of specialization can help the development of abilities possessed by students. Specifically, specialization subjects can be followed according to students' talents and interests. This study aims to describe (1) the implementation of the 2013 curriculum policy in specialization learning in Senior High School 1 Ternate. (2) differences in specialization management models are applied in Senior High School 1 Ternate. And (3) constraints and solutions in the implementation of specialization learning in Senior High School 1 Ternate. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach. Sources of data and information from three curriculum subjects and nine specialization subject teachers from each of the three schools. The results showed that (1) the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in specialization learning in Senior High School 1 Ternate was by Minister of Education and Culture Regulations number 69 of 2013 and schools only make policies based on the central government and adjust teaching hours and based on specialization manuals and cross-interests from the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2016 and 2017. (2) There are some differences from specialization management models such as specialization mechanisms/procedures in each school have different stages. (3) Obstacles in the implementation of specialization learning in Senior High School 1 Ternate include (a) constraints from teachers; (b) constraints in choosing teaching methods; (c) constraints from students; (d) the constraints of using learning resources; (e) facilities and infrastructure. The solution is that the teacher chooses the right teaching method and can improve the competency of the studentsKeywords: Learning, Specialization Subjects, 2013 Curriculum Abstrak: Diberlakukan mata pelajaran peminatan dapat membantu pengembangan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang (1) pelaksanaan kebijakan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran peminatan di SMA Negeri Kota Ternate. (2) perbedaan model manajemen peminatan diterapkan di SMA Negeri Kota Ternate. Dan (3) kendala dan solusi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran peminatan di SMA Negeri Kota Ternate.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data dan informasi dari tiga masing-masing wakasek kurikulum dan sembilan guru mata pelajaran peminatan dari tiga masing-masing sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan kurikulum 2013 pada pembelajaran peminatan di SMA Negeri Kota Ternate sudah sesuai dengan Permendikbud No. 69 Tahun 2013 dan sekolah hanya membuat kebijakan berdasarkan dari pemerintah pusat dan menyesuaikan jam mengajar serta berdasarkan buku pedoman peminatan dan lintas minat dari Kemendikbud tahun 2016 dan 2017. (2) Terdapat beberapa perbedaan dari model-model manajemen peminatan seperti mekanisme/prosedur peminatan di setiap sekolah memiliki tahapan-tahapan berbeda. (3) Kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran peminatan di SMA Negeri Kota Ternate meliputi (a) kendala dari guru; (b) kendala memilih metode mengajar; (c) kendala dari siswa; (d) kendala menggunakan sumber belajar; (e) sarana dan prasarana. ABSTRACT Introduction: The main reason for the decline in college students’ physical fitness and health is the lack of physical exercise, the emphasis on study and the neglect of physical exercise, and the lowering of the physical fitness requirements of college students. Objective: The paper analyzes the status quo and existing problems of college students’ physical fitness and proposes that the school party committee issues policy-based health intervention measures, encourages school physical education teachers to participate in students’ after-school physical exercises, and extensively develops school mass sports activities. Methods: The paper uses a literature method, questionnaire survey, comprehensive evaluation method, etc., to analyze the internal and external factors of college students’ physical decline. Results: Through the practice density test of students in physical education teaching, it is learned that physical education in the first grade can fully develop students’ physical fitness, and the practice density of each class reaches 60%. The practice density of the second-grade optional courses is about 20%, and it cannot achieve the purpose of effective physical exercise. Conclusions: The current teaching content and teaching methods of physical education classes cannot effectively complete physical education tasks. It is necessary to adjust the teaching content further and improve the teaching methods. Level of evidence II; Therapeutic studies - investigation of treatment results.
