As of 2018, it is mandatory for Vietnamese higher education institutions (HEIs) to publish the employment rates of their graduates. Failure to comply with this regulation will automatically disqualify accredited HEIs from the right to recruit new students. So far, less than 5 percent of Vietnamese HEIs have published employment rates for their alumni and there is a lot of criticism and suspicion from the public toward the reliability of these statistics. The ministry of education and training should either conduct a national employability survey or establish an accreditation agency to monitor the surveying process, rather than leaving this task to voluntary cooperation from universities.

There is no doubt that the Vietnamese higher education system is in need of serious reform. Corruption is epidemic, and actions must be taken to change the environment in which these practices flourish. The recent decision by the Ministry of Education and Training to adopt new, stricter measures on national exams and the increased media attention on corruption are steps in the right direction. If Vietnam desires to obtain an international standard educational system, required reforms are necessary from all parties. Perhaps, most importantly, there must be a monumental change in the attitude and thinking by students, faculty, and parents. Education is a right and privilege that is earned, not a commodity to be sold by administrators and faculty.

Zoning, a limitation system that is so widely discussed today, focuses initially on the education system in Indonesia, namely on the problem of admission of new students which began in 2017. One of these policy settings is for children to be educated in areas close to residence. This system is often connected by the public with the search for a partner to get married. Based on normative Islamic law research, marriage in Islam does not provide specific restrictions regarding this zoning in finding a partner. However, this zoning can be implicit in the recommendations of marriage in Islam. Bringing up conflict that has become a topic of discussion in many media and communities, which in the end, can create a solution for couples who find it difficult to find a life partner as well as presenting internal conflicts that pertain to the realm of privacy, intersect with the right of humans to freely choose from and where their partners. Regardless of a marriage that leads to the coercion of one partner or coincidence of finding the right partner according to the zoning where the couple lives.

Indonesia as the largest country in ASEAN with more than 240 million population in 500 cities and 17 thousand islands, needs various efforts in conducting the 2015 ASEAN Community socialization. Effective socialization cannot only rely on conventional methods as previously carried out by agencies related to socialization through seminars to local governments, universities, schools, and other public organizations, as well as the installation of banners and billboards in public places. To support socialization to be more effective and efficient, it can be helped by using mass media, especially online media. Online media is chosen related to the development of ICT and public connectivity, which generally can access news via the internet or gadgets that are owned. The lag behind the public information about the implementation of the 2015 ASEAN Community in December 2015 cannot be separated from geographical, demographic, and information dissemination that is less equitable from the relevant agencies. This phenomenon is an obstacle in the readiness to implement the ASEAN Community. While the readiness of the government and the public is expected to be able to compete with other ASEAN member countries regarding the era of competition that will be implemented. PKM activities with the theme "Socialization and Training of Access to Information on ASEAN Community through New Media by New Students in Bhakti Luhur Ciputat Special School" in June 2016 were intended to increase their knowledge and insight. This is because many of them do not know the information related to the ASEAN program or agenda, especially those related to free competition by ASEAN Community which has begun this year. Students who have limitations (physical or mental) also have the right to get information related to ASEAN Community so that they are more motivated to equip themselves with knowledge and skills to be independent and compete in the upcoming ASEAN Community era.

In Italy, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all schools were closed on March 5, 2020 and it was mandatory to switch to “distance learning”, in order not to interrupt the teaching continuity and to guarantee the right to education for all students. The Ministry of Education suggested several initiatives to teachers, including the PPS national project. In the paper we analyse why and how the PPS project, intended for teachers of secondary schools of the STEM disciplines but opened in the emergency to teachers of all disciplines, was able to provide much needed support and not only. Following this opening and the consequent registration of many new teachers, three different phases were carried out: an analysis phase of the teachers’ needs for online teaching, a phase of support and initial help, and a training phase. The results show an extremely high participation of the teachers and a wide online collaboration. All the teachers of the PPS will certainly have an advantage in the post-covid teaching, since they can take advantage of the work done and the experience and skills gained in the past.

The government through the Ministry of Education and Culture issued a regulation on the admission of new students as stipulated in the Minister of Education Regulation Number 51 of 2018 to apply the zoning system. The regulation emphasizes that schools are required to give priority to prospective students who are in the domicile of the closest radius to the location of the school. To facilitate relevant agencies and the public in getting the closest school information in a zone, it is necessary to create an information system that can present information related to the existence or location of the school. One of the systems designed to solve and work with spatially referenced data or geographic coordinates is the Geographic Information System (GIS).
