<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>The aim of this research is to examine Geography curriculum in terms of values, which is renewed in 2017. For this purpose, which values take place in the program, the relation between values and learning outcomes, distribution of values to class levels and learning areas are examined. Document analysis as a qualitative research method is used in current research. As a result, it is found out that ten (10) different values are included in the Geography curriculum. It is noticed that values are included each grades’ teaching materials in the curriculum. Additionally, it is found that numbers of the learning outcomes related to the values are intensified in 10th and 11th grades, those numbers were at a lower level in the 9th grade. When the distribution of value numbers due to learning areas is examined, "natural systems" subject has the highest one, "global environment: regions and countries" learning subject has the lowest number in terms of value distribution. As a result, it is decided the renewed program aims to raise awareness on values. Suggestions have been provided based on these results.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Öz </strong></p><p>Bu araştırmanın amacı, 2017 yılında yenilenen coğrafya dersi öğretim programını değerler açısından incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda programda hangi değerlere yer verildiği, değerlerin kazanımlarla ilişkisi, değerlerin sınıf düzeylerine ve öğrenme alanlarına göre dağılımı incelenmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından biri olan doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, coğrafya dersi öğretim programında 10 farklı değer ifadesine yer verildiği tespit edilmiştir. Programda değerlere her sınıf düzeyinde yer verildiği görülmüş. 10. ve 11. sınıflarda değerlere ilişkin kazanım sayılarının yoğunluk kazandığı, 9. sınıfta ise bu yoğunluğun daha düşük düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Değer sayılarının öğrenme alanlarına göre dağılımı incelendiğinde ise “doğal sistemler” alanının ön plana çıktığı, “küresel ortam, bölgeler ve ülkeler” alanında ise bu sayının en düşük düzeyde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak yenilenen programın değerler açısından bir farkındalık oluşturmayı amaçladığı görüşüne varılmış ve bu farkındalığı artırmak için ulaşılan sonuçlara bağlı olarak bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.</p>

Pyschology and cinema are fields that benefit each other in order to explain human behavior. Many researchers have been noted that cinema is important tool in order to understand psychological structures. In light of related literature the main aim of the present study is to analyze the Her movie directed by Spike Jonez through Erikson’s intimacy versus isolation stage, Hazan and Shaver’s attachment styles and finally Sternberg’s love types. The sub-question was investigated in addition to the main aim is whether intimacy, attachment and love can be between operating system and human. Document analysis that one of the qualitative research method was used in the present study. An overall evaluation, it can be said thanks to Theodor’s relation with Samantha, Theodor experienced intimacy that Erikson was defined, he attached with secure attachment style that Hazan and Shaver defined to Samantha and finally according to Stenberg’s love types romantic love was experienced between couple. When we look answer of sub-question of the present study Her movie indicates that human can be intimate with operating system, experience attachment and fall in love. ÖzetPsikoloji ve sinema insan davranışlarını açıklamak amacıyla birbirinden yararlanan iki alandır. Sinemanın psikolojik yapıları anlamak açısından önemli bir araç olduğu pek çok araştırmacı tarafından belirtilmiştir.  İlgili literatür ışığında bu çalışmanın temel amacı yönetmenliği Spike Jonze’un yaptığı Aşk (Her) filminin Erikson’un yakınlığa karşı yalıtılmışlık evresi, Hazan  ve  Shaver’in bağlanma stilleri ve son olarak da Sternberg’in aşk türleri temelinde analiz edilmesidir. Bu temel amaca ek olarak incelen bir alt soru da sesten ibaret olan bir işletim sistemiyle bir insanın arasında yakınlık, bağlanma ve aşk olup olamayacağıdır.  Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan döküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Genel olarak değerlendirildiğinde Theodor’un Samantha ile ilişkisi sayesinde Erikson’un tanımladığı yakınlığı deneyimlediği, bağlanma stilleri açısından ise Theodor’un Samantha’ya Hazan ve Shaver’ın tanımladığı güvenli bağlanma örüntüsüyle bağlandığı ve son olarak da Sternberg’in aşk türleri açısından ikilinin arasında romantik aşkın yaşandığı söylenebilir. Çalışmanın alt sorusunun yanıtına baktığımızda Aşk filmi insanın işletim sistemiyle yakın olabileceğini, ona bağlanabileceğini ve aşık olabileceğini göstermektedir.

<p><em></em>This study concerns on metaphorical expressions in the book <em>Ngawur Karena Benar </em>written by Sujiwo Tejo and their nonliteral meaning. In finding the metaphorical expressions, researchers used the theory of metaphor. Otherwise, in analyzing the nonliteral meaning, it was used relevance approach. According to relevance theory, the process of interpreting a metaphorical expression comprises the following steps: decoding the linguistic input by arraying possible meanings of an utterance and drawing inferences by taking into account both the results of linguistic decoding. The problems are to answer: 1) what metaphorical expressions can be found in the book <em>Ngawur Karena Benar </em>by Sujiwo Tejo, 2) what are the meanings of the metaphorical expressions used in the book. This study applied qualitative research method by employing document analysis approach to get detailed data description from the object analysis. Results of this study revealed that the metaphorical expressions are used to deliver a complicated circumstance in revealing the real condition. In line with the finding, the nonliteral meaning of the metaphorical expression needs an intralinguistic that is the information we can receive by decoding the linguistic input while the extralinguistic factor is the assumptions taken from context by drawing inferences.</p>

Abstract The purpose of this study is howthe implementation of cultural art learning media (music) using audiovisual media at class IX in SMP 2 Pariaman. Type of this research was classroom action research that was classified as qualitative research. The research method was carried out by using the class action research method proposed by Suharsimi Arikunto as follows: (1) Planning (2) Acting (3)Observing (4) Observing (4) Reflecting. Techniques of data collection used some  instrumentsin the form of students observation sheets, observations and teacher performance in learning process, meanwhile, in determining the quality of students learning outcomes used anevaluation / test sheets. he results show that the use of audiovisual learning media can improve the students learning outcomes in Cultural Arts (Music) subject. The initial average value is 70.00, in the first cycle is 71.87 and in the second cycle is 87.34. Keywords: Learning, cultural Arts (music), audiovisual media

AbstrakKarya tari Surau merupakan sebuah transformasi budaya ke dalam bentuk seni pertunjukan. Karya ini terinspirasi dari persoalan nilai pendidikan di Surau, didalamnya terdapat nilai sosial budaya dan agama. Surau merupakan lembaga pendidikan untuk anak laki-laki di Minangkabau, dapat dilihat bahwa seorang laki-laki dididik sejak dini untuk bisa membekali dirinya sehingga ilmu dan keterampilan yang didapat bisa berguna saat mereka dewasa dan akan pergi merantau. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini agar mengetahui metode penciptaan dan bentuk garapan dari karya tari Surau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini ialah penelitian kualitatif dengan konsep historis. Teknik pengnumpulan data berupa pengamatan berpartisipasi, wawancara, analisis dokumen, menilai, membuktikan serta mensintesiskan dari bukti lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat membuktikan bahwa bentuk transformasi karya tari Surau merupkan hasil dari sebuah metodologi penciptaan sebuah karya.Kata Kunci: surau, metodologi penciptaan, bentuk garapan.AbstractSurau dance work is a cultural transformation into the form of performing arts. This work is inspired by the issue of the value of education in Surau, in which there are socio-cultural and religious values. Surau is an educational institution for boys in Minangkabau, it can be seen that a man is educated early to be able to equip himself so that the knowledge and skills acquired can be useful when they are adults and will go abroad. The purpose  of  writing this article is to find out the method of creation and the form of cultivation from Surau dance works. The research method used in this writing is qualitative research with historical concepts. The technique of collecting data in the form of participatory observations, interviews, document analysis, evaluating, proving and synthesizing  from  field  evidence. The results of this study can prove that the form of transformation of Surau dance works is the result of a methodology of creating a work.  Keywords: surau, creation methodology, form of cultivation

Since the history of humanity, the image of women has always been attractive; poetry, as well as painting and sculpture, novels, stories and many other subjects have been the subject.The beauty of the woman, sometimes her ugliness, sometimes her sorrows, sorrows, tears, joys and excitement sometimes inspired a poet or a painter, sculptor, writer, composer. A woman's portrait, her naked body, her nobility, and even her identity have led to wars between very powerful civilizations.In the works of Spanish painter Picasso, one of the most important, different and even the most critically acclaimed artists of the 20th century, the image of woman is frequently encountered. Picasso, who has received many criticisms from some circles, has been approved and regarded as a genius by some circles, especially in his Cubic paintings, depicting women's portraits and women's bodies in different geometric shapes.Picasso stated that he was influenced by many artists and works by saying I get what I need from other artists ve and that he used what they found appropriate in his own works without hesitation.The aim of this study is to examine Picasso's works with a female image in her cubic paintings and to evaluate her perspective towards women. Fort his reason, this study is a qualitative research method which is a due diligence model and the data is analyzed with document analysis method. The results of the study are important in terms of analyzing the image of women in Picasso’s Works and being a source for other scientific researches. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language lessons using google classroom media. The subjects of the study were students of class VIII-4 MTsN 1 Subulussalam City, totaling 32 people consisting of 14 men and 18 women. This research uses a case study qualitative research method. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, and documentation. Then contextual data is analyzed through procedures namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes from before the action, cycle I, to cycle II. Before the action the number of students who reached the KKM was 56.25% or 18 people. In the first cycle there was an increase to 71.88% or 23 people. Then in the second cycle there was an increase to 87.50% or 28 students. It can be concluded that the use of the google classroom application can improve learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects in class VIII-4 MTSN 1 Subulussalam City in 2019/2020.

Based on the research, it was found that the lack of development of learning media resulted in boring learning and students who experienced a lack of interest in learning activities which resulted in a lack of material delivered and obtained by students. The objectives to be achieved through this research are to determine the use of audio-visual learning media on the learning interest of fifth grade students at Sdit Irsyadul Ibad 2 Pandeglang. The method taken by the researcher through descriptive qualitative research method which in this method to examine a phenomenon the data used through interviews, observations and questionnaires. The results of this study were students actively participated in learning activities through asking questions, the class became effective because students were very focused on audio-visual learning media and the material provided was well conveyed to students so as to create maximum learning outcomes.

Carrying out research requires that a researcher is aware of the many things that need to be put into consideration and one of them definitely is document analysis. This article attempts to discuss the document analysis strategies, their use, functions/importance, epistemological approaches, types of documents used for analysis in a qualitative research method, and document analysis evaluation considerations. The author finds it essential to also look into the importance and use of document analysis in research to show its relevance in the research study. The inclusion of document types helps in creating an awareness of what is required for analysis. The consideration of document analysis strategy and evaluation helps invalidate the appropriate strategy to use for a particular research method. While the importance and functions of document analysis help to appreciate the contributions of documents to research. The epistemological approaches to document analysis strategies play a very vital role in indicating and directing the appropriate strategy to use in a research study bearing in mind its theoretical demands.

There has been no research on border automation or the mechanism of autogate system at airports in Indonesia, including a comparative study on border technology of immigration control in several countries. This paper is to describe how the border technology of immigration control and autogate at airports in Indonesia work and to compare the adoption of border technology of immigration control at airports in four countries. It presents a discussion with a qualitative research method by applying a systematic procedure reviewing or evaluating documents or document analysis. This study finds Border technology in Indonesia has been established with an integrated information system called SIMKIM under the EDAS as a connecting system to every interoperable system at immigration offices, border controls, detention centers, and representative offices overseas. The DGI has deployed an automated border control for Indonesian passport holders at Jakarta International Airport and Bali International Airport, and foreign passport holders from twelve selected countries at the departure terminal of Bali International Airport. For further research, it is essential to evaluate the adoption of border technology of the immigration control process in Indonesia and the evaluation of the deployment of autogate at two airports in Indonesia.

Document analysis has been an underused approach to qualitative research. This approach can be valuable for various reasons. When used to analyze pre-existing texts, this method allows researchers to conduct studies they might otherwise not be able to complete. Some researchers may not have the resources or time needed to do field research. Although videoconferencing technology and other types of software can be used to reduce some of the obstacles qualitative researchers sometimes encounter, these tools are associated with various problems. Participants might be unskillful in using technology or may not be able to afford it. Conducting a document analysis can also reduce some of the ethical concerns associated with other qualitative methods. Since document analysis is a valuable research method, one would expect to find a wide variety of literature on this topic. Unfortunately, the literature on documentary research is scant. This paper is designed to close the gap in the literature on conducting a qualitative document analysis by focusing on the advantages and limitations of using documents as a source of data and providing strategies for selecting documents. It also offers reasons for using reflexive thematic analysis and includes a hypothetical example of how a researcher might conduct a document analysis.
