Variations and relative contributions of energy and aerodynamic terms to evaporation, from different stations of India are studied. Energy term shows higher value during first few weeks from the beginning of the year, at stations located at lower latitude, while its value retains high at stations lying on higher longitude except for Thiruvananthapuram. Aerodynamic term is found to be high at stations located at higher latitude, while except for Calcutta, its value is seen to be higher for the stations situated on higher longitude. Considerable variations in the percentage contribution of the energy and the aerodynamic terms are observed at stations situated at higher latitude. Stations situated at lower latitude show high and low value of percentage contribution of the energy and the aerodynamic terms In most of the weeks during the year. Relative shares of the energy term to evaporation are comparatively high at stations situated in higher longitude, while a higher percentage contribution of the aerodynamic term. is observed at stations located at lower longitude except for Nagpur.

Abstract Objectives: To study the changes in Anemia among women and to study the association between anemia and socio-demographic and economic predictors, also estimating the percentage contribution of selected predictors to Anemia among women belonging to poor and non-poor households. Methods: The State-wise percentages were taken from the extracted factsheets of National Family Health Survey 2015-2016 and 2019-2020. Absolute and relative percent changes to understand the changes in prevalence have been calculated. Multiple logistic regression was done to understand the associated varying predictors of Anemia among women. Percentage contribution of selected varying predictors through multivariate decomposition analysis have also been estimated. Results: Anemia prevalence was found the highest among the women in Goa and least in Lakshwadeep. The relative change in prevalence of Anemia was highest in Assam and lowest in Lakshwadeep. Socio-economic factors like marriage at a young age, lack of education, exposure to media, malnutrition, and poor economic status contribute significantly to the prevalence of Anemia among women of age 15-49 years. Conclusion: It is seen that the socio-demographic and economic burden on Anemia still continues to be higher than other medical predictors. The focus should be made more on education, malnutrition, and economic status to reduce the prevalence of Anemia.

Abstract Clove is one of the important plantation commodities in Maluku, especially in Ambon City. Clove processing diversification will provide opportunities to increase business income. This study aims to determine the factors that support the diversification of clove processing on the income of entrepreneurs in the city of Ambon. The method used was purposive sampling. The results showed that the diversification of clove processing gave a large enough contribution to income, but the percentage contribution of processing diversification was not visible because the income outside of processing was relatively large. The results showed that the greater the number of species produced, the greater the capital. Based on the analysis, it is known that the level of raw materials available to entrepreneurs to support diversification activities.

Abstract The structural characterization of the newly synthesized trinitrato(terpyridine)lanthanoid complexes [Nd(NO3)3(pytpy)(H2O)] (1), [Eu(NO3)3(pytpy)(EtOH)]·EtOH (2·EtOH) and [Tb(NO3)3(ptpy)(EtOH)] (3), with the modified terpyridine ligands pytpy = 4′-(pyridin-3-yl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine and ptpy = 4′-phenyl-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine, show all a coordination number of 10 at the metal ion with three bidentate nitrato ligands and an additional solvent ligand. The coordination polyhedra around the metal ions are highly irregular. Hirshfeld surface analyses of the intermolecular interactions show (C/O–)H⋯O bonding having the largest percentage contribution in all three structures, while there are remarkably few π-π interactions despite the numerous aryl rings.

Abstract Heat transfer coefficient has an important influence on the flow and heat transfer of supercritical water in the core channels. The effects of different factors and their interactions on the heat transfer coefficient of the supercritical water were studied by full factorial experimental design method, such as pressure, mass flow rate, heat flux, and inlet temperature. The results show that: Within the range of the tested working conditions, effect D (inlet temperature), effect B (mass flow rate) and effect A (pressure) had a significant impact on the heat transfer coefficient, where the percentage contribution of effect D was 48.21%; effect B was 21.58%; effect A was 15.1%. The percentage contribution of other factors and their interactions on the heat transfer coefficient of the supercritical water can be ignored. At the same time, a prediction formula of heat transfer coefficient on supercritical water was fitted, and it was found that the prediction error of this formula conformed to the assumption of normality, and the prediction error was 10.5%.

The distribution of picocyanobacteria from two genera, Synechococcus and Prochlorococcus, and picoeukaryotes in surface water (0.5 m) was investigated by flow cytometry in the southeastern coast of Peninsular Malaysia during the Southwest monsoon in August 2014. During the cruise, Synechococcus cells were predominant throughout the study area, contributing as much as 50% to the total picophytoplankton population, whereas picoeukaryotes and Prochlorococcus constituted only 31% and 19% of the population, respectively. Spatially, Synechococcus and picoeukaryotes were more dominant in coastal waters, while Prochlorococcus appeared to be more highly abundant in offshore waters. Furthermore, the percentage contribution of each population to total picophytoplankton also exhibited different spatial distribution patterns along a coastal-offshore gradient. The percentage contribution of Synechococcus was spatially constant throughout the study area, while the fraction contributed by picoeukaryotes showed a reduced contribution from coastal to offshore waters. In contrast, Prochlorococcus exhibited an increased proportion to total picophytoplankton across a coastal-offshore gradient, suggesting the increasing importance of this population in offshore waters of the study area. As revealed by Canonical Correlation Analysis, the abundance of Synechococcus and picoeukaryotes increased significantly with reducing dissolved oxygen levels and pH, and with increasing total chlorophyll. In contrast, temperature was the only factor influencing the abundance of Prochlorococcus significantly increased with decreasing water temperature in the study area. Overall, results of the present study provide valuable information on the role of regional environmental factors in the distribution and dominance of picophytoplankton communities that are not only critical for the ocean productivity but also the impact on the carbon cycle in the study area.
