Introduction: This article includes the effect of Corona virus disease on cancer patients and their healthcare facilities. The global pandemic mentioned around the world has impacted the most vulnerable group of patients- cancer. With the assistance of RT PCR tests and HRCT, oncologists and doctors have tried to provide treatment to Covid-19 patients. Cancer patients are more susceptible to Covid-19 than non-cancer or non-survivor patients, according to reports. To avoid the prevalence and infection of cancer victims, WHO has suggested staying at home and continuing their treatment through telemedicine unless the situation is critical for which they might require therapy and/or surgery. Covid-19 is here to stay so we should practice with utmost care and precaution.

The Transmission part of the power sector is very much important as it deals with the huge losses of the complete power sector. Transmission substations play a key role in the power transmission process since the power generation at the power plants to the final stage at the consumer end utilization. The utmost care should be taken to protect these transmission substations as same as the care is taken to reduce the losses. The substation needs to be protected from blackouts which is the big problem of substations. For this, the substation high voltage equipment’s like GIS & Power Transformers are to be properly installed & energized according to the standards & care is taken for its maintenance. So, during the commissioning process which is after installation & before energization, there are different tests which are performed on high voltage equipment’s, especially the Gas Insulated Switchgear, in which the High Voltage & Partial discharge has huge impact as the ageing and the life time of GIS can be easily assessed & the GIS can be saved from the damage, tripping and the blackout of a substation. The procedure of the high voltage test and the partial discharge tests are clearly explained in this paper.

In this work, we present the genesis, development, and results of a set of inclusive outreach activities developed through a puppet theatre play about the Neolithic. We present our methodology and techniques for outreach activities, showing the advantages of collaborative work and bottom-up approaches. The text also explains how the initiative was born and how the contacts for its realization consolidated. All the activities were carried out with the utmost care for the scientific content since it is essential that the public comes to understand all the archaeological information and differentiates it from the entertaining and dramatic elements.

In every electric power system, power transformers (PT) play a critical role. Under ideal circumstances, PT should receive the utmost care to maintain the highest operative condition during their lifetime. Through the years, different approaches have been developed to assess the condition and the inherent risk during the operation of PT. However, most proposed methodologies tend to analyze PT as individuals and not as a fleet. A fleet assessment helps the asset manager make sound decisions regarding the maintenance scheduling for groups of PT with similar conditions. This paper proposes a new methodology to assess the risk of PT fleets, considering the technical condition and the strategic importance of the units. First, the state of the units was evaluated using a health index (HI) with a fuzzy logic algorithm. Then, the strategic importance of each unit was assessed using a weighting technique to obtain the importance index (II). Finally, the analyzed units with similar HI and II were arranged into a set of clusters using the k-means clustering technique. A fleet of 19 PTs was used to validate the proposed method. The obtained results are also provided to demonstrate the viability and feasibility of the assessment model.

Medication errors are therapeutic obstacles that have the potential to threaten the patient outcomes and result in unexpected events. Home medication review (HMR) is a patient-focused process which advocates the optimal and quality use of medication at the patient’s home. It involves a systematic and detailed assessment of the patient’s medication in order to identify and meet the medication-related needs as well as to identify and prevent medication errors. The aim of this study is to identify the medication errors in paediatric population. The paediatric population is a vulnerable part of the community as they should be treated with utmost care due to their differing pharmacokinetic properties. This study is a community based prospective observational study including 150 paediatric participants. A specially designed data collection form will be used to collect the data from the patients who are eligible for the study. Several dosing and administration errors were also found in the study. Several studies have been done under home medication review but only a few with paediatric population is seen. Home medication review can be very useful for the society if it is implemented. It will be helpful to the community in clarifying any misunderstandings regarding the treatment and can lead to better outcomes. Keywords: Home medication review, paediatric population, adherence.

Pleomorphic adenomas are benign salivary gland tumours, which predominantly affect the superficial lobe of the parotid gland. The “pleomorphic” nature of the tumour can be explained on the basis of its epithelial and connective tissue origin. The tumour has a female predilection between 30-50 years of age. Slowly progressing asymptomatic swelling is the usual presentation of the tumour. Surgical excision of the tumour mass forms the mainstay of treatment, with utmost care taken to preserve the facial nerve. This case report aims to throw light on an interesting case of pleomorphic adenoma of the parotid gland in a 10 years old female patient. The patient presented with a slowly progressing asymptomatic swelling on the right side of the face, which was diagnosed to be pleomorphic adenoma of right parotid gland. The aim of the study is to discuss how to proceed regarding the further management.

Purpose: The main purpose of this article is to study the IFRS implications of COVID-19 for selected travel and leisure companies listed on the JSE. The article investigates how these selected companies disclose financial information regarding the going concern, or in other words; the sustainability of the company, revenue of the company, how the companies made estimations, and more, to account for the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on their financial information. Design/methodology/approach: content analysis was used to analyse the financial statements of ten travel and leisure companies listed on the JSE. This analysis indicated what additional disclosures these companies have in the light of COVID-19. Findings: even though there is no specific IFRS standard providing guidance on the impact of COVID-19, the findings reveal that the companies took utmost care in disclosing information and the impact of COVID-19 in the financial statements. Companies cautiously considered the impact of the coronavirus on their financial results and provided the users of these financial statements with transparent financial information, regarding going concern and sustainability of the company, revenue, estimations, and more. Originality/value: a new economic crisis, different from any other economic crises, emerged as a result of COVID-19 and the IFRS implications such as, the effect on sustainability and going concern, impact on revenue of companies, financial estimations during the coronavirus pandemic, the effect of COVID-19 on the financial subsequent events and other financial statement disclosures is still unclear. This study is deemed of vital importance as the users of financial statements require all the necessary information about how COVID-19 has affected these companies, and whether or not these companies will be sustainable in the foreseeable future, as to enable the financial statement users to make informed financial decisions.

The COVID-19 pandemic is equally effecting the adult population and the children’s in terms of mental health. Children’s are more susceptible to develop mental health problems as they are in the developmental stage of life. Anxiety, frustrations, impairment of sleep, feeling of helplessness is the common presentations of children during this pandemic outbreak. The health related quality of life has also been deteriorated owing to home confinement and less physical activities. The ongoing situation is quite incongruent with their developmental stage. Children’s are unable to go to school, isolated from their peer group, affecting their healthy development of the brain. It is also evident that the screen time is also gradually increasing which also contributes the brain development in a negative way. It is an important task to monitor the children’s mental and emotional health in this crucial period. Parents and care takers should understand this challenging environmental situation, which may have a devastating effect on their children’s mental health if not handled with utmost care.
