Inner speaking, the covert talking that goes on inside a person's mind, can shape creative thought. How the phenomenological properties and quality of inner speaking correlate with a person's creative potential, however, is an open scientific problem. To explore this, participants ( n = 267) filled in the revised Varieties of Inner Speech Questionnaire and the revised Launay Slade Hallucination Scale (auditory subscale), and performed three tests of creative potential: one divergent (Alternative Uses Test) and two convergent thinking tests (Compound Remote Associates Test, short Hagen Matrices Test). The results showed that a tendency to engage in condensed and evaluative/ critical inner speaking negatively correlated with convergent thinking ability; and the results pointed toward a potential negative correlation of auditory hallucination proneness with divergent and convergent thinking ability. No evidence was found for a correlation of the dialogicality, imagining of others’ voices, or positive/regulatory aspect of the participants day-to-day inner speech, with creative potential. Herewith, the presented study contributes novel insight into the relationship between the varieties of inner speech and creative potential.

During this COVID-19 pandemic, many people were confused about how to deal with COVID-19. In dealing with this, President Joko Widodo made a virtual speech to deal with this pandemic in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Based on this background, this study will discuss the meaning of the rhetorical study from President Jokowi, which contains an appeal to continue to live the days according to the Covid 19 protocol. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach and used descriptive analysis methods, which provide an overview and understanding to the reader about Aristotle's rhetorical theory in the art of persuasion carried out by President Jokowi through a press release on "Together Against Corona." with literature studies that already exist in previous research. The formulation of the problem that the researcher raises is how the analysis of the content of President Jokowi's speech "United Facing Corona" delivered through a youtube video intersects with ethos, logos, pathos as dimensions of rhetoric or its aspects. This research shows that President Jokowi, who acts as a communicator in this speech in persuading the public, has fulfilled ethos, logos, and pathos when viewed from Aristotle's art of persuasion. The speech "United Facing Corona" applies the use of five aspects in rhetoric, such as the discovery aspect, the regulatory aspect, the style aspect, the delivery aspect, the memory aspect, and others. The speech "United Facing Corona" as a whole has shown the rhetorical concept of Aristotle.

The cultivation of maggot Black Soldier Fly (BSF) is a bioconversion technology of organic matter that can be one solution to the problem of organic waste. This study aims to examine aspects of organic waste management through BSF Medan maggot cultivation, including operational technical, financing, institutional, regulatory and community and government participation aspects. This research is a descriptive observational study with an exploratory study approach using the interview method. Descriptive and quantitative data processing and analysis. Based on operational technical aspects, maggot cultivation has succeeded in converting organic waste into a source of animal feed protein and reducing the amount of organic waste. The amount of organic waste that is managed is 90kg/day with an effectiveness of 0.013% the total domestic waste in Medan. The financing and institutional aspects of waste management are managed in an organized manner through a cooperative body, namely the Primary Waste Management Cooperative (PKPS) Medan. The regulatory aspect that is used as reference is Medan Mayor Regulation No. 26 of 2019. Aspects of community participation directly from members of the cooperative and the Laucih wholesale market trader in Medan City. This bioconversion technology is able to overcome the problem of waste in an effort to reduce organic waste.

: The ever-increasing use of digital technologies is rapidly changing the face of modern healthcare delivery. Healthcare systems are embracing digital health solutions to improve patient outcomes, enhance healthcare delivery, and reduce costs. Digital therapeutics (DTx) are now a popular category of digital health solutions aimed at preventing, managing, or treating medical disorders. These evidence-based technologies/products either complement a conventional therapy or are prescribed as stand-alone treatments for a range of conditions, including chronic diseases and mental health disorders. Many pharmaceutical companies and healthcare start-ups are developing DTx products for different health conditions. Despite similarities between DTx and conventional medicines, DTx products are not covered under reimbursement at present in many countries. There are no uniform regulations for DTx prescription and reimbursement. This review aims to analyse the current DTx scenario, particularly highlighting the regulatory aspect and reimbursement of DTx products globally.

Calcium (Ca2+) functions as a second messenger that is critical in regulating fundamental physiological functions such as cell growth/development, cell survival, neuronal development and/or the maintenance of cellular functions. The coordination among various proteins/pumps/Ca2+ channels and Ca2+ storage in various organelles is critical in maintaining cytosolic Ca2+ levels that provide the spatial resolution needed for cellular homeostasis. An important regulatory aspect of Ca2+ homeostasis is a store operated Ca2+ entry (SOCE) mechanism that is activated by the depletion of Ca2+ from internal ER stores and has gained much attention for influencing functions in both excitable and non-excitable cells. Ca2+ has been shown to regulate opposing functions such as autophagy, that promote cell survival; on the other hand, Ca2+ also regulates programmed cell death processes such as apoptosis. The functional significance of the TRP/Orai channels has been elaborately studied; however, information on how they can modulate opposing functions and modulate function in excitable and non-excitable cells is limited. Importantly, perturbations in SOCE have been implicated in a spectrum of pathological neurodegenerative conditions. The critical role of autophagy machinery in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s diseases, would presumably unveil avenues for plausible therapeutic interventions for these diseases. We thus review the role of SOCE-regulated Ca2+ signaling in modulating these diverse functions in stem cell, immune regulation and neuromodulation.

The purpose of the article is to define the concept and features of administrative and legal means of legal regu-lation of corruption prevention.  It is substantiated that the administrative and legal means of preventing corruption is an integral part of legal reg-ulation. The use of these funds is conditioned by the goals of preventing corruption, which are divided into strategic and tactical. The essence of administrative and legal means of preventing corruption is considered in accordance with the regulatory, institutional, instrumental, normative, managerial, activity and state-centered approaches. Ac-cording to the regulatory aspect, administrative and legal means of preventing corruption are understood as a means of streamlining public relations and a way for the subjects of anti-corruption activities to exercise their powers. In the institutional aspect, these means should be understood as a set of bodies and their officials determined by legis-lative and subordinate legal acts, whose powers include the prevention of corruption, as well as the competence of these entities. In the instrumental aspect, administrative and legal means of preventing corruption are technologi-cally legal techniques and methods of implementing administrative and legal regulation in the studied area, as well as algorithms for the application of these techniques and methods. In the normative aspect, the investigated means represent a hierarchically structured set of legislative and subordinate legal acts, including international legal acts that have been ratified, approved or adopted in accordance with the established procedure. In the managerial aspect, administrative and legal means of preventing corruption are a set of managerial actions and decisions of a nation-wide, sectoral and intradepartmental nature aimed at creating organizational, personnel, financial, material and other conditions for the effective prevention of corruption by the subjects of this activity. In the activity aspect, the investigated means represent a set of legal and extra-legal actions of the subjects of preventing corruption, aimed at achieving the goals and objectives set in the anti-corruption program documents in accordance with the established deadlines and stages. The state-centered aspect encompasses a set of ways to preserve the interests of the state, which include preventing corruption in comparison with the interests of a number of officials to preserve their right to privacy of information about their property, income and expenses, to combine some positions and professions, and the like. The set of administrative and legal means, united by specific goals of law enforcement and directed by the will of the subject of legal relations, is an organic part of administrative and legal regulation. However, the phenomenon of administrative-legal regulation is not limited to administrative-legal means, its integral parts are also the purpose, principles, methods, and also other elements that are distinguished by various researchers.

The “modern” cosmetology industry is focusing on research devoted to discovering novel neurocosmetic functional ingredients that could improve the interactions between the skin and the nervous system. Many cosmetic companies have started to formulate neurocosmetic products that exhibit their activity on the cutaneous nervous system by affecting the skin’s neuromediators through different mechanisms of action. This review aims to clarify the definition of neurocosmetics, and to describe the features of some functional ingredients and products available on the market, with a look at the regulatory aspect. The attention is devoted to neurocosmetic ingredients for combating skin stress, explaining the stress pathways, which are also correlated with skin aging. “Neuro-relaxing” anti-aging ingredients derived from plant extracts and neurocosmetic strategies to combat inflammatory responses related to skin stress are presented. Afterwards, the molecular basis of sensitive skin and the suitable neurocosmetic ingredients to improve this problem are discussed. With the aim of presenting the major application of Botox-like ingredients as the first neurocosmetics on the market, skin aging is also introduced, and its theory is presented. To confirm the efficacy of the cosmetic products on the market, the concept of cosmetic claims is discussed.

Nearing the end of the program, participants are asked to reflect on how they will sustain their mindfulness practice going forward. This underscores the self-regulatory aspect of mindfulness, as one learns how to “become one’s own meditation instructor.” This chapter also contains information regarding the daylong retreat. Participants are given guidance on how to prepare for this silent day of group mindfulness practice, and time is spent in session addressing any questions or concerns about the retreat. The prior week’s experience tracking reacting versus responding in relationships is discussed, and the final new practice of Loving-Kindness is introduced as a way to cultivate compassion for ourselves and ultimately for others.
