In the current era of globalization, business competition is getting tougher and as a market leader, companies must always maintain their performance and improve their performance, so that customer satisfaction is always maintained. Especially the performance of mechanical services to customers whose performance must be maintained. Main problem faced by PT United Tractors heavy equipment service division is a decrease in customer satisfaction. The decrease in satisfaction is thought to be caused by a decrease in mechanics technical competence, the lack of mechanical ability to maintain good relationships (relational capability) with customers and the ability to identify problems (cognitive abilities) faced by customers. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of technical competency, relational capability and cognitive ability toward customer satisfaction and to analyse the impact of customer satisfaction toward customer loyalty. As a quantitative research, the study distributed questionnaires to 200 respondents who are customers who used mechanics services, so that it can be seen what variables have a significant impact on customer satisfaction. The findings of this study are that cognitive ability and technical competency have a significant impact on customer satisfaction, while relational capability has no significant impact on customer satisfaction. The influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty has a significant impact.

The aim of this study was to explore the possibility to re-use disposable masks in order to prevent excessive waste generation during the pandemic period. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused rapidly increasing waste production resulting from the necessity of common usage of disposable personal protective equipment. This research covers the evaluation of the structure of surgical masks subjected to a threefold steam, gas or plasma sterilization process in order to verify the possibility of their re-use. The results of the study showed that gas sterilization even after three cycles did not cause significant changes in mask structure or air permeability. Hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilization caused significant changes in the structure of layer A after the third cycle of sterilization; nonetheless, it did not influence the air permeability of the mask. A significant reduction in the cover ratio of layers composing surgical masks causes an increase of air permeability in the case of steam sterilization, leading to a reduction of the mechanical ability to prevent the penetration of microorganisms. The reduction in cover ratio limits the filtration efficiency. Surgical masks subjected to threefold gas sterilization can be recommended for re-use. This allows one to use the mask thrice, ensuring safety for users and limiting the mask-waste production to one-third of the volume compared with when the mask is used once. The volume of mask-waste can be reduced with the application of the sterilization process for used masks during the pandemic period. Currently, it is not possible to sterilize all one-use masks, but implementation of this method in hospitals and medical centers is a step in the pro-environmental direction.

Drawing on the digital literacies framework developed by Pegrum et al. (2018), this article proposes that caption literacy, a form of multimodal literacy, enhances the learning experiences of language learners who engage in self-directed second-language viewing. It presents a pedagogical approach referred to as intra-formal learning, which enables students in educational settings to build on previous digital learning experiences, such as watching Netflix TV series in a foreign language. Prior knowledge is extended through guided exploration of learning options (including caption use) and interaction between students who are encouraged to reflect on and share their learning experiences. This study investigates the developmental processes during the seven-week-long intervention. The development of functional caption literacy, going beyond the mechanical ability of operating subtitles, represents a critical ability for learner-viewers as it enables them to optimise viewing options in accordance with their processing capacities and preferences within their social context.

The research aimed at identifying polymorphisms of Angiotensin Gene for selecting young weightlifters and comparing these different forms with the mechanical ability for selecting youth weightlifters. The researchers used the descriptive method on (21) weightlifters whose average weight was (78.14 ±15.61) Km, height (1.73 ±0.08) m, and age (17.80 ±2.98) years. The results showed significant differences in favor of the experimental group that has the gene (D) in the mechanical ability variables of the snatch. In addition to that, there were no significant differences among the three groups who hold the genes (I, ID, D) respectively in mechanical ability variables during the clean and jerk. Finally, the researchers recommended using this gene for selecting weightlifters as well as making similar studies on the same gene to identify its correlation with body systems’ functions.

Nonlinear optical lithium sodium sulphate hexahydrate (LSS) crystal of 17 mm x 14 mm x 12 mm dimension was harvested by temperature reducing method. The single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction investigation studies reveal the crystal system and crystalline characters of grown LSS crystal. The FT-IR spectrum of LSS crystal was recorded to confirm its functional constituents present in the synthesized compound. Mechanical ability of the grown LSS crystal was studied by Vicker’s hardness method. The etching pattern was recorded to identify the growth feature of the grown crystal. The parameters of dielectric constant and dielectric loss were calculated for the grown crystal. Thermal analysis was carried out on the crystal by employing thermogravimetric method. The cutoff wavelength and optical transmittance character and second harmonic generation efficiency of the LSS crystal were done by UV-Visible and Kurtz-Perry studies respectively.

Abstract The structures and mechanical strength existing in three different hydrophobic silane compounds, Henicosyl-1,1,2,2-tetrahydrododecyltrichlorosilane (FDDTS), Tridecafloro-1,1,2,2-tetrahydrooctyltrichlorosilane (FOTS) and [Tris(trimethylsiloxy)silyethyl]dimethylchlorosilane (Alkyl) under same deposition conditions were studied and presented in this paper. The effect of the chemical composition on the mechanical strength and the structural evolutions as related to chlorosilane was inquired. The structures were investigated by using field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), atomic force microscope (AFM) and surface profiler while the nature of the mechanical strength was determined from nanoindentation and nano scratch. From the data obtained, the FDDTS showed to be denser in structures than both Alkyl and FOTS. The root-mean-square (RMS) roughness exhibited by FDDTS was larger when compared to the other two silanes. The mechanical ability shows that the FDDTS has the largest maximum penetration load as well as highest scratch resistance. Overall, the FDDTS would perform excellently in the applications where combine hard and wear resistance organic coating is required.

Evaluating the mechanical ability of nanofibrous membranes during processing and end uses in tissue engineering is important. We propose a geometric model to predict the uniaxial behavior of randomly oriented nanofibrous membrane based on the structural characteristics and tensile properties of single nanofibers. Five types of silk fibroin (SF)/poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) nanofibers were prepared with different mixture ratios via an electrospinning process. Stress–strain responses of single nanofibers and nanofibrous membranes were tested. We confirmed that PCL improves the flexibility and ductility of SF/PCL composite membranes. The applicability of the analytical model was verified by comparison between modeling prediction and experimental data. Experimental stress was a little lower than the modeling results because the membranes were not ideally uniform, the nanofibers were not ideally straight, and some nanofibers in the membranes were not effectively loaded.

Abstract Welding is a method of metal extension that utilize the Penetration of heat produced. Heat and the freeze of a metal extension is a natural phenomenon, where that process works based on the difference of temperature. The cooling temperature that work so fast creating diverse structure as the result that the mechanical ability of a metal changes.                This research purpose is to find out to what extent heat treatment with water and oil cooling media gives effect to the result of SMAW weld, considering processes changes in metal are very sensitive towards mechanical ability.                 Hardness testing in raw material that has been done gives result of 46.9 with an average hardness in the normal welding process of 48 HRB or increased by 2.34%. This value indicates that the welding process will have an impact on the increase in hardness of the weld metal. Then the weld metal heat treatment process at 850oCwith normal cooling of free air decreases the weld metal hardness by 43.5 HRB or 7.24% under raw material. While the quenching process carried out with water and oil cooler has an impact on increasing the hardness above heat treatment, normal cooling is 4.36% and 3.19% lower to the raw material. From this description it can be concluded that quench accelerates the rate of cooling and increase hardness by 4.36%. Key words: welding SMAW, heattreatment, cooling water and oil, hardness metal
