The increase in the degree of urban settlements’ urbanization, the increase in the territories of industrial and residential zones, the increase in the level of motorization play a major role in changes in the ecology of the city, the destruction of the existing natural framework and the increase in the recreational load on the urban landscape. The natural framework has entered urban planning practice as one of the main prerequisites in the process of modernizing the principles of territorial planning, focused on saving resources while solving problems related to the protection of natural areas. The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the city park "Presnensky" to assess the effectiveness of the existing functional zoning, as well as calculated indicators of the load on the recreational potential of the territory.

The modern tasks of agriculture are concentrated in the area of reconciling the contradictions between increasing growth rates in conditions of limited natural resources and protecting the interests of citizens and the environment. The study is devoted to the overview of the current state, consideration of development prospects and analysis of the experience of the People's Republic of China in assessing the efficiency of agricultural production based on an index system of indicators, including 12 indicators grouped by social, environmental and economic characteristics, combined into a comprehensive development index. As a result of the study, the problems and mechanisms of support to rural areas at the state level, which can be useful to other agricultural territories and states, have been identified.

The issues of soil fertility reproduction are usually considered as a system of specific measures. This article presents a slightly different approach, the essence of which is to substantiate the methodology for constructing the concept of fertility reproduction, to formulate goals, tasks, to determine the method of forming indicative indicators and to assess effectiveness. The data for the Rostov region on the dynamics of nutrients balance in the soil and the assessment of the effectiveness of changing the structure of sown areas are presented.

The capital-forming function of natural resources is currently not questioned within the frame-work of various directions of economic thought. However, the process of realizing their role and place in the reproductive process has a rather long history. Based on the study of the processes of organizing the management of land reclamation activities that took place in domestic practice during the XX– beginning of the XXI centuries, the main directions of the transformation of the land reclamation sphere, which had both positive and negative content in the context of ensuring its sustainable development, are shown. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the consequences of the market transformation of this sphere, which took place in the 1990s. In this context, the main tasks of ensuring the sustainable development of domestic land reclamation are identified, the solution of which will allow it to successfully adapt to changing environmental conditions.

Surface water pollution issues are relevant and important. The impacts of polluted waters on the catchment area have both short and long term implications. The negative impact affects both the quality of soils grown in the catchment of plants and agricultural crops, and the health of the population living in the area. From this point of view, the assessment of the environmental and ecological-economic damage caused is relevant. To manage the damage to the environment, it is necessary to conduct balanced economic development and measures to control the quality of surface waters. The methodology developed and proposed in this article for a comprehensive assessment of environmental, economic and environmental damage is aimed at creating and monitoring conditions for economic progress, ensuring and protecting the rights of society and the quality of life.
