Now Kazakhstani TV channels are adapting to the digital environment. However, they have not yet fully understood the capabilities and requirements of the new environment. There are undoubtedly different problems. According to television experts, the number of viewers on traditional channels is decreasing per year. The youth audience is completely excluded from television. The main reason for this is the increase in the number of YouTube channels. Most of the electronic media have opened their own channels on this platform. But, TV channels can only broadcast their programmes online. However, the YouTube hosting requirements for video content are different. From this point of view, we are looking for scientific answers to the question of what prevents the improvement of the online network of domestic channels, why small production studios cannot take over YouTube. The results of the study show that domestic TV channels have done a great job in this network. TV channels on YouTube are mainly focused on information products. And given that online audiences are interested in entertainment content, channels will have to do some research in that direction. The article also provides a scientific opinion on this matter. The study also provides a scientific analysis of the main factors contributing to the development of Kazakhlanguage channels on YouTube.

Now is the time when everything is developing rapidly. Many things have been transformed within a short period of time. With the development of technology, people also began to change. A person who spends a lot of time on the Internet loses, first, itself. Mental health and attitude of the person to the surrounding world are changing too. The worst thing is that the person becomes addicted to the Internet, goes away from real life, and completely immerses himself in the world of the Internet. Therefore, we must not allow Internet addiction. Otherwise, we are risking shortening our already short life and turn it into meaningless existence. Television, the Internet, and social networks have been in the process of integration, that is, at the stage of involvement, for almost 15 years. The way of using them is for everyone’s personal matter; someone may correctly use Internet resources; others may abuse them. The Internet should be considered as a source of information, not as a competitor. The matter is that journalism is always in need of innovation. Kazakh ancestors said: Keep up with the times, that is, do not stay behind. So that, journalism should move with the times, taking a place on the front line. Only those media organizations that unite both sides may be a few steps ahead.

Kazakh media are experiencing difficulties inherited from the Soviet media system. As a result, remnants of the old structures that hinder and restrict independent journalism are still visible. This question is relevant when studying the current state of media independence. In this context, the authors’ main idea of the author of the article is that the exercise of freedom of speech and journalistic independence is a prerequisite for the development of democracy and other rights of citizens. If the state does not allow open and fair competition among different ideas about how to govern the country, there is no guarantee that strong ideas supported by a democratic majority will prevail. At the same time, restricting the flow of information, preventing the independence of journalism - leads to violations of human rights. The authors examine the true content of freedom of speech in international law, provide examples of best practices in other countries and regions, and present concepts developed by leading international and public organizations, as well as experts from around the world.
