The purpose of this article is to make a proposal for the control of heno motita (Tillandsia recurvata), based on the analysis of its environmental function within the atmospheric basin of Tula, to contribute to the solution of a state forest problem. Its approach is quantitative experimental since it seeks to explain how the application of 5% acetic acid and 80g / l sodium bicarbonate affects the emergence of new shoots and the Hay Motita plant directly, as well as to identify the function that said plant fulfills. within the microenvironment. The findings show that heno motita is a plant that seeks a support to capture nutrients from the air, however, shading causes the host plant to decrease its efficiency in capturing energy, likewise there is mechanical damage due to its weight and a chemical one since it secretes an allelopathic substance that damages the new shoots. On the other hand, Tillandsia recurvata "sequesters" particles of different materials such as heavy metals in its trichomes, thus contributing to the sanitation of the atmosphere. Finally, the steps to follow to develop a specific management program are proposed.

It cannot be possible to form and unite the University that is required these days, without the people who interact within this institution having a sustainable way of thinking, one of the priority ways to achieve this goal is to manage the development of stakeholders of University Social Responsibility (USR). The Faculty of Administration Sciences (FAS) of the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila has as its priority tasks to develop sustainable thinking through continuous improvement and the incessant search of areas of opportunity in these subjects. The objective of this work was to evaluate the degree of social and environmental management that exists in the FAC focusing on the actions that are carried out in a positive way and in those that must be worked to achieve an advance and development of these stakeholders of the (USR). The empirical research was based on the exploration of a sample that included 211 people who study and work in the FAS. The evaluation instrument incorporated questions that relate the interaction of the FAS with society and the local community and the development of plans, actions and knowledge related to the environmental management required by the University for the training of new types of professionals. For its evaluation, Contingency Tables and Exploratory Factor Analysis were used. The results demonstrate the existence of strategic planning, commitment and integration of social issues in the way the University operates and a linkage in the midst of work and commitment in the improvement of environmental aspects, all of this while there is no training, dissemination and technology innovation that promotes sustainable development in these matters.

The common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L) is an important food in Mexico that provides both macronutrients and bioactive substances that are beneficial for the health of its consumers, in particular it provides polyphenolic compounds such as anthocyanins that make it a functional food; the objective of the present work was to evaluate the content of polyphenols and their ferric iron reducing activity of beans grown in the Municipality of Hopelchen, Campeche (Mexico) to characterize their agronomic and alimentary value. The morphometric parameters of length, width, thickness, weight and volume were measured; An aqueous maceration of the bean seeds was carried out in an acid medium (0.1 M HCl) and the content of polyphenols (Folin Ciocalteu Method), anthocyanins (visible spectrophotometry) and determination of the Reducing Iron Power (FRAP, by the method of TPTZ) of the aqueous extracts. It was found that the concentration of anthocyanins correlates with the total content of polyphenols and with the reducing activity of the ferric ion, the aqueous extracts obtained had a content of total phenols of 413 mg EAG/100g of seed, of anthocyanins of 42 mg MGE/100 g of seed and an iron reducing power of 10.26 mol of Fe2+/g of seed. The morphometric characteristics and the polyphenol content of the Hopelchén bean demonstrate that the harvested grain is of good quality and corresponds to the expected values for this food.

The socioeconomic and environmental attributes that characterize the environmental thought are the elements used to design a methodology to evaluate the substantive functions of teaching and research in the university environment, in a public higher education institution in Mexico. The proposed methodology is based on tools and instruments to generate knowledge of big data information, making use of: Information and Communication Technologies; of the principles of multivariate data management that consider the distinctive uncertainty of environmental phenomena; and the generation of multidisciplinary databases to apply data mining and obtain information with a systemic approach. The proposed tool with its mixed approach applies to the operation and multimedia text database study and from there the KDD process knowledge is acquired. The application context of the proposed methodology is the information in text form, published electronically, in the educational offer of the 2017 undergraduate and postgraduate admissions at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP).

Indoor air quality was analyzed in the period from 2016 to 2019, in the Universidad Iberoamericana Torreón, with the objective of determining if it complied with the reference norms: ISO 14644- 1-2015 and UNE 100012:2005; due to in Mexico there are no applicable norms for the monitoring or indication of the Maximum Permissible Limits to determine indoor air quality. Methodology applied was focused on: 1) Determining the PSTs (from 0.3 to 10 µm) using a FLUKE particle counter; 2) Microbiological analysis; 3) Identifying isolated strains and 4) Calculating origin and wind intensity using a METPAK II climatological data and a WRPLOT software. PST and microbiological concentrations were found to be above the standards used. PS0.3 showed a significant difference (p<0.05) in the Auditorium, which had the highest concentrations in 2019 of evening schedule. Some of the biological material were identified as: 1) pathogenic bacteria of the genera Salmonella, Klebisella and Escherichia, and 2) fungi of the genera Aspergillus, Trichophyton and Candida; whose exposure could produce different allergies, asthma, develop respiratory symptoms, chronic cough, laryngitis, sinusitis and urticaria.

This research was done to get acquainted with the characteristic of the membrane module in spiral, used in the osmosis reverse process. The goal to know its measure, components, hydrophilic, topography, materials and performance. The membranes of the module were characterized by the next techniques: atomic force microscopy (AFM), infrared spectroscopy by ATR (Attenuated Total Reflectance), contact angle and cross- flow equipment. Agree with the autopsy, the infrared spectrums indicate that the membrane is constituted by support of polyester paper, a polysulfone layer, a cellulose acetate layer and polyamide layer. The feed spacer is polypropylene and the permeate spacer is polyethylene terephthalate. All the measures did the membrane module were the same as the technical sheet from the manufacturer. The contact angle was 22.4±3.55° and roughness of 182.43±42 nm. The performance of the membrane was 70% to reject salts of feed 1000 ppm Na2SO4.

In March 2019, the current state of the mangrove structure in the Arroyo los Coamiles estuary (Punta Mita Bay, Nayarit) was evaluated. The method of circular plots centered on a point was used (Cottam and Curtis, 1956). The mangrove structure is made up of the species Laguncularia racemosa, Avicennia germinans, Conocarpus erectus and Rhizophora mangle. The greatest forest development is found in the second third of the estuary with a bordercontinental structure. The average height of the mangroves was 6.17 m, (SD 7.35 m), the diameter at breast height was 19.21 cm and the total basal area was 57.36 m2 . The data are associated with young trees in a good state of development and conservation. The C / N ratio was determined as an index of the quality of the soil organic substrate, the values ranged between 3.74 and 14.91 and the percentage of organic matter was from 1.45 to 8.04. The fragility of the soils reinforce the proposal to take care of the natural drainage of the property. Mangroves have been impacted by tourist developments around the world, the environmental and economic benefits that these ecosystems provide are ignored by inhabitants and authorities, which allow their destruction.
