Adolescent knowledge is the optimizing capital of the condition of demographic dividend in Indonesia which will be culminated in 2035. Adolescent behavior such as early marriage, premarital sex, and drug abuse pushed the National Population and Family Planning Commissions’s to implement the Generation Planning “Generasi Berencana (GenRe)” Program for preparing teen family life. This research aims to determine the influence of adolescent characteristics on knowledge about GenRe in the Sub-village of Family Planning Ngepring. The primary data collection method is a census which the unit of analysis are the adolescent individual in Ngepring. Data from the adolescent census are processed by multiple linear regression test. The results showed that adolescent characteristics proved that the significane influences the knowledge about GenRe with a contribution of 50, 5%. The last education of adolescent characteristics (Beta = 0,435; p <0, 01) is stronger in influencing the knowledge about GenRe than gender variable (Beta = 0,147; p <0, 01) and work experience variable (Beta = -0, 195; p <0, 01). This research proves the hypothesis that the education and work experience characteristics affect the knowledge.

Abstract The demographic changes occurring in Mali, evident in high fertility but declining mortality rates have raised optimism about the prospects of reaping demographic dividend. However, it remains unclear how soon and what policy scenario would yield the largest demographic dividend in the country. We used a demographic-economic model “DemDiv” to assess the prospects of reaping a demographic dividend in Mali by 2050. We illuminate this further by examining the cost and implications of different combination of education, family planning and economic policies. The results show that by increasing access to education, family planning services coupled with strong economic reforms, Mali’s GDP per capita will be $27,044 by 2050. This high per capita GDP is almost thrice the benefit of prioritising only economic reforms. Mali would also have a GDP of $977 billion. These findings highlight the need for sound demographic and market-oriented economic policies for Mali to reap a large demographic dividend by 2050.

The purpose of this study is to test the Influence of Work Motivation, Competence, and Compensation Against Performance Employees Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Mentawai Islands District. This study is a census. The data used are primary data by taking sample of 79 (seventy nine) respondents. This research uses analytical tools such as validity, reliability test, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study illustrate that all variables have an effect on employee performance except the compensation variable. The results can be described by the equation Y = 12.752 + 0.248X1 + 0.396X2 + 0.051 X3, where X1 = Work Motivation, X2 = Competence, and X3 = Compensation. This means that the constant of 12.752 states that factors other than the variables X1, X2, and X3 that affect employee performance of 12,752. Work Motivation coefficient of 0.248 states that if the variable X1 added one unit will add the effect of employee performance of 0.248 with the assumption that the competence and compensation variables are constant. The regression coefficient X2 of 0.396 is that if the variable X2 increases one unit will increase the employee performance by 0.396 with the assumption that the variable of work motivation and compensation is constant. Furthermore, with X3 regression coefficient of 0.051. This means that with other factors considered constant, the effect of compensation is less than that of work motivation and competence.
