The main premise of the study is the objective need to find new means for the development of children’s personality in the modern educational process. Scientific and technological progress, the active use of technology and gadgets by children, even young children, the expansion of the use of distance learning and communication, artificial intelligence, and social networks are the realities in which we already live. Therefore, high relevance is gained by the means that are based on information technologies on the one hand but have the potential for the development of children’s personality on the other. What can be considered as one such instrument is animation creativity of children that involves the process of children jointly composing, creating, and discussing a cartoon of their own making. The assumption of the potential effectiveness of animation creativity as a means of developing children’s giftedness is based on the fact that in the process of joint creation of a cartoon, children show and develop several abilities as they create the script, images of characters, their characters and appearances, as they are involved in filming, montage, editing, as well as the presentation and promotion of the finished animated film. Children interact with one another and with technical devices, learn to listen to and hear each other, substantiate their opinion, carry the responsibility for collective work, distribute responsibilities between each other, and bring the creative idea to fruition in the finished product. The goal of the study is to conduct an empirical study to determine the effect of the author’s children’s animation technique on the development of figurative thinking in older preschool-age children. Methods: observation, conversation, measurement, creative tasks, comparative analysis of experimental data.

The use of modern information technologies, including distance learning, significantly strengthened the traditional approaches to the educational process in higher education institutions. On the one hand, the reason for this is the rapid development of information and communication technologies, and as a consequence, appearance of new modern pedagogical approaches to conducting lectures, practical and laboratory trainings. On the other hand, students also have changed. Under present conditions, they have a number of personal qualities that were not inherent to pupils and students of previous years. The article argues the use of distance learning technologies and the possibilities of modern specialists trained in educational measurements in the field of distance learning.

Film and media education in the case of preschool-age-children is a particularly complicated matter. There are many different factors, including the question of methodology, challenges which stem from the learning abilities and skills of young children that should be discussed. The article on the one hand tries to indicate the main obstacle that preschool audiovisual education in Poland deals with. But on the other hand it presents and describes as a case study the New Horizons Association projects dedicated to children age 3–7. As the New Horizons are a nongovernmental organisation, the kind of solution they propose does not solve all the problems and is limited and restricted. In the final part of the article I critically try to refer to, what is still for many, an exceptional proposition.

The article deals with the issue of the development of higher education, the formation of a new model of educational process in non-philological higher schools. It is noted that the new model of educational process is focused on active modernization of education, improving the quality of education, more efficient use of training time and satisfying the needs of each student in accordance with his individual abilities through the use of information technologies in the educational process. Today the task of most linguistic departments and language training centers for foreign students of higher education in Ukraine is to search and develop innovative teaching technologies and advanced forms and methods of teaching students, the introduction of the results of advanced world scientific schools into the practice of teaching non-native language. The urgency of the problem lies in the fact that in today’s demanding and rapidly changing environment, the level of education depends to a large extent on the effectiveness of the introduction of modern technologies into learning, based on new methodological principles, modern didactic principles and psychological and pedagogical theories. Of course, computer does not replace the teacher, but is only a means of carrying out a pedagogical activity, his assistant. However, it should be noted that when using multimedia, the role of a teacher changes significantly: he begins to use teaching time more effectively, focusing on individual assistance to students, on the discussion of information, on the development of their creative approach. Despite the large number of new educational technologies, one should not consider any of them as self-sufficient. Perhaps the one that integrates a complex of achievements of several methods, that is transformed depending on the methodological preferences, the content of the discipline, the equipping of the educational process, the level of students, the level of professional training, will be the most effective.
