Abstract The use of sensor on smartphones as physics learning media encourages teachers to reconstruct teaching methods. This paper presents the effect on students’ cognitive abilities using an accelerometer and a gyroscope sensor simultaneously in learning circular motion, as well as students’ responses and the effectiveness of sensor media on smartphones used. A pre-experimental research design was used in this study which involved 12 students of XII MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Pagaden Subang Jawa Barat. They learned circular motion guided by the smartphone sensors-based worksheets and were tested using an essay test for cognitive abilities measurements. Meanwhile, students’ responses and the effectiveness were obtained using a Likert scale questionnaire. The improvement of students’ cognitive abilities was significantly higher than the pretest which was obtained from the N-gain with a final value of 0.41. Worksheets using smartphone sensor media were more effective than conventional learning. In addition, students showed a positive response in which 93.75% of students were interested, 85,42% were motivated to learn the circular motion, and 91.14% of students became easier in understanding physics concepts.

The article considers the problem of teaching the native language. The main factors affecting the effectiveness of teaching the Kazakh language are identified. One of them is teacher training, and the second is the effective coordination of students' activities depending on the purpose of the lesson, especially the content of knowledge offered for teaching. The article also emphasizes the importance of identifying teaching methods that are consistent with the content of students' knowledge and skills. Thus, the authors of the article argue that "new knowledge must be associated with old knowledge." And also the article discusses the assimilation of grammatical knowledge, including the study of tenses of the verb. The verb is one of the most complex aspects of morphology. The article shows the modern methods of teaching the tenses of the verb. The revealed methods show that the accumulated language rules are not only knowledge, but also contribute to the development of cognitive abilities.

Orientation mathematics are mathematical reasoning abilities. Reasoning is a process or activity is thought to draw the right conclusions based on some of the statements that have been proven or assumed to be true. Students require reasoning ability in solving mathematical problems that involve critical thinking, systematic, logical, and creative. Through the mathematical reasoning students can apply for the alleged then compile evidence, manipulation, and draw conclusions correctly and precisely of the problem or a math problem. Mathematical reasoning skills students are low is one of the fundamental problems in mathematics today. The low student learning outcomes are influenced by many factors, one of which is the use of teaching methods that are less effective and efficient cause unbalance cognitive abilities, affective, and psychomotor student. Learning methods commonly used by mathematics teachers are conventional teaching methods that rely on lectures and main tools blackboard so that students tend to be passive and less involved in the classroom. Conventional teaching methods do not provide the opportunity for students to think and can hamper students' mathematical reasoning abilities. One of the techniques taught are considered accommodative can attract students and increase the activity of thinking students are learning techniques probing prompting.
