Seminar Nasional Fisika (SNF) 2021, Universitas Negeri Surabaya on New Adaptations in Physics Learning and Research to Realize an Independent Learning Program Dwikoranto, A Zainuddin, B K Prahani, N P Putri, N A Lestari, U A Deta* Physics Department, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia *E-mail: [email protected] We want to present the National Physics Seminar or Seminar Nasional Fisika (SNF 2021), entitled New Adaptations in Physics Learning and Research to Realize an Independent Learning Program. SNF 2021 took place virtually by using the ZOOM meeting because of the COVID-19 pandemic. As we know, the Covid-19 pandemic has harmed almost all areas of life, including education, especially universities. SNF 2021 organized by the Physics Department, Universitas Negeri Surabaya-Surabaya on October 18, 2021. In general, there are two sessions, namely plenary and parallel. The plenary session was given to three keynote speakers: (1) Prof. Dr. Heri Sutanto, M.Si. (09.40-10.10 AM), (2) Dr. Asnawi, M.Si. (10.10-10.40 AM), (3) Prof. Dr. Budi Jatmiko, M.Pd. (10.40-11.10) which ends with a Q&A session (11.10-11.40 AM). Parallel session is for authors who present their papers and is carried out in eight groups of breakout rooms (1.00-4.00 PM). As a scientific forum, the SNF 2021 is attended by 217 participants from students, teachers, lecturers, engineers, and practitioners who participate either as presenters or as participants. The SNF 2021 main aim is to share ideas and knowledge and build collaboration with each other. We received 56 papers that will be selected to be published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series with the scope of physics and its related area. In this volume, we accept 32 papers for publication after meeting the scope, checking originality, and performing peer review. The technology needed to deliver the meeting successfully is zoom meeting, laptop, sound system, Wi-Fi (internet signal source), and the backup of electrical power. In this particular case, we have two times electricity outages (± 3 minutes). It is not a big problem because we have the backup of electricity and internet signal. We are hoping that the event will become a foothold of thinking in welcoming global developments. In addition, publications packaged in this seminar will further strengthen the existence and reputation of the physics department as an educational institution that excels in scientific publication at national and international levels. The results of these studies need to be disseminated so that they are scientifically helpful and provide practical value for the community. The organizing and editorial committee of the SNF 2021 hopes you enjoy reading this volume of the JPCS. Besides, we would like to fully respect keynote speakers and all the presenters for providing their valuable contributions for this proceeding and the reviewers for their constructive recommendations and criticism aiding to improve the presented articles. We, on behalf of the committee of the SNF 2021, would like to thank all parties for their participation in supporting this publication. We want to invite the participants back to participate in SNF 2022, which will be held by the Physics Department, Universitas Negeri Surabaya. In developing countries where resources are limited, the task of providing shelter for poverty stricken communities that are already in dire need of basic amenities can be a daunting one. This paper proposes a solution to this housing issue in the form of a modular home construction kit. These kits will provide such communities with a tool for sustainably constructing their own dwellings using local manpower combined with the natural resources available on site. The technique is based on the rammed earth principle in which the raw material for the construction process is primarily the natural soil present at the targeted location. This result in considerable savings in terms of sourcing and transporting costs of building materials typically used in traditional constructions methods. In addition, heavy or powered equipment is not needed for this construction technique making it a viable option for places where an electrical power supply or fuel source is not available.The project is part of a service-learning program, recently introduced at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs to afford students an opportunity to work on a multidisciplinary team while using their engineering knowledge to provide solutions to real world problems. The student team working on the project has been involved in developing all the necessary procedures for assessment of the location’s soil type as well as the design and sourcing of the kit components. They will also be required to develop the necessary instructional and training material to allow for assembly of the kit components and the implementation of the technique to produce a finished structure (excluding the roof).

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai berbagai konsepsi dan miskonsepsi yang ada pada siswa, mahasiswa calon guru fisika, dan guru fisika terkait konsep cahaya dalam pembelajaran fisika. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan melakukan analisis terhadap 25 artikel tentang gambaran konsepsi siswa, mahasiswa calon guru, dan guru fisika tentang konsep cahaya dalam pembelajaran fisika. Hasil penelitian ini adalah gambaran konsepsi siswa, mahasiswa calon guru, dan guru fisika tentang konsep cahaya dalam pembelajaran fisika yang dapat menjadi informasi awal untuk mengembangkan penelitian berkelanjutan berupa program pembelajaran atau program perkuliahan untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi yang dimiliki siswa.Kata kunci: Konsepsi, Miskonsepsi, Pembelajaran Fisika, Konsep Cahaya. The purpose of this study is to obtain a description of the various conceptions and misconceptions in students, physics teacher candidates, and physics teachers about concept of light in physics learning. The data collection in this research is by analyzing 25 articles about the concept of student's conception, student of teacher candidate, and physics teacher about light concept in physics learning. The result of this research is a description of student conception, student of teacher candidate, and physics teacher about light concept in physics learning which can be preliminary information to develop continuous research in the form of learning program or lecture program to remediate misconception owned by students.Keywords: Conception, Misconception, Physical Learning, Concept of Light.

With the development of the era in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the world of education continues to develop and improve 21st century competencies. Based on the program initiated by the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of Education and Culture has set 4 main policies in the field of national education through the "Independent Learning" program. One of the main points of the policy is related to the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). Based on this, the writer aims to describe how the policy of the independent learning program is in the preparation of the Thematic Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The method used in this paper is a descriptive qualitative content analysis method. The writing shows the results that, First, based on the drafting concept in making RPP with the existing format, it is considered more rigid. Thus, the policy of the independent learning program is in trimming the RPP from the original 13 components to only 3 components. It is considered more efficient and effective, which will allow the teacher to have a lot of time to prepare and evaluate the learning process that will be implemented. Second, the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) must have and pay attention to the main principles, namely: (1) efficient, writing RPP is done correctly and does not spend much time and energy; (2) effective, writing lesson plans is done to achieve learning objectives; and (3) student-oriented, RPP writing is carried out by considering the readiness, ability, and learning needs of students in class, so that later it can increase students' interest in learning. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan generik  sains (KGS) siswa, menguji apakah KGS siswa mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan melalui pembelajaran dengan Program Pembelajaran Fisika berbasis IT2PK, dan menyelidiki apakah pembelajaran fisika berbasis IT2PK lebih efektif dari pembelajaran reguler dalam meningkatkan KGS siswa. Penelitian  ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan kelompok kontrol tidak ekivalen dan disertai pemberian tes awal dan tes akhir (nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design). Pembelajaran pada kelompok eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran fisika berbasis IT2PK, sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran reguler. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII semester 2 tahun ajaran 2008/2009 di sebuah SMP Negeri di Kota Mataram - NTB. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes kemampuan generik sains (KGS) berbentuk tes uraian sebanyak 14 butir, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan program SPSS versi 16 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) KGS siswa setelah memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis IT2PK secara umum dalam kualifikasi baik, dengan  peningkatan skor yang dialami dikategorikan sedang; (2) setelah mendapatkan pembelajaran fisika berbasis IT2PK, KGS siswa kelompok ekperimen mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan; dan (3) pembelajaran fisika berbasis IT2PK lebih efektif dari pembelajaran reguler dalam meningkatkan KGS siswa.Kata kunci: Program pembelajaran fisika, inkuiri terbimbing tipe penyelidikan kelompok,  kemampuan generik sains   AbstractThe aim of this research is to describe the students’ generic science skills, to know whether it would have increased significantly after the students underwent learning through the Physics learning program based on guided inquiry with group investigation type or not and to examine whether it is more effective than the Regular Learning Program in improving the students’ generic science skills or not. This is a quasi-experimental study in which nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design is applied. The Physics learning program based on guided inquiry with group investigation type was employed in the experimental group, whereas the Regular Learning Program was employed in the control group. The subjects of this study are the second semester students of class VII in academic year 2008/2009 at a junior high school in Mataram NTB. The data are taken from the students’ generic science skills test in a 14 items essay test, and then they are analyzed descriptively and inferentially using SPSS 16 version for Windows. The results showed (1) the description of the students’ generic science skills, (2) after learning through the Physics learning program based on guided inquiry with group investigation type, the students’ generic science skills increased significantly; and (3) the Physics learning program based on guided inquiry with group investigation type is more effective than the Regular Learning Program in improving the students’ generic science skills. Keywords       : Physics learning program, guided inquiry with group investigation type, generic science skills

The unevenness of the basicmathematicalabilities possessed by physics students causes the mastery of Mathematical Physics (FISMAT) material to be uneven and the learning outcomes of some students are low. In addition, students self-confidence in asking lectures is also a serious problem. Likewise the development of the present time causes the character of students to be more individual and tend to not want to help their friends in mastering lecture material. Based on the foregoing, the purpose of this study is to find a learning model scenario that is in accordance with the character and content of the FISMAT course material which also minimizes the individual attitudes of students who can certainly support the improvement of the quality of lectures. To achieve this goal, a task-based collaborative learning model is offered in the Mathematics Physics lecture FISMAT. The stages in this esearch that will be carried out to achieve these objectives include : first, the stage of identification, analysis, design, trial and revision; second, designing research instruments and implementing the expected results, namely obtaining a task-based collaborative learning model inMathematics Physics learning (FISMAT). The data obtained will be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The output of this study is a nationally accredited scientific publication, namely the Journal Of Physics Education (JPF) of the   University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. While the additional output produced is a Mathematical Physics (FISMAT) questions module with different levels of difficulty.Key words: Mathematical Physics (FISMAT), Learning Outcomes, Assignments, Collaborative Learning.Ketidakseragaman kemampuan matematika dasar yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa fisika menyebabkan penguasaan materi Fisika Matematika (FISMAT) menjadi tidak merata dan hasil belajar sebagian mahasiswa rendah. Selain itu, ketidakpercayaan diri mahasiswa untuk bertanya kepada dosen juga menjadi masalah serius. Begitupun perkembangan zaman saat ini menyebabkan karakter mahasiswa menjadi lebih individual dan cenderung tidak mau membantu temannya dalam penguasaan materi kuliah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut di atas, maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan suatu skenario model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karakter dan muatan materi mata kuliah FISMAT yang juga meminimalisir sikap individual mahasiswa yang tentunya dapat menunjang peningkatan kualitas perkuliahan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, ditawarkan model pembelajaran kolaboratif (Collaborative Learning) berbasis tugas pada perkuliahan Fisika Matematika (FISMAT). Tahapan-tahapan pada penelitian ini yang akan dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut meliputi: pertama, tahap identifikasi, analisis, merancang, uji coba dan revisi; kedua, merancang instrument penelitian dan mengimplementasi hasil yang diharapkan yaitu diperolehnya suatu model pembelajaran kolaboratif (Collaborative Learning) berbasis tugas pada pembelajaran Fisika Matematika (FISMAT). Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Luaran dari penelitian ini adalah publikasi ilmiah berupa jurnal nasional terakreditasi yaitu pada Jurnal Pendidikan Fisika (JPF) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. The focus of this study is how the concept of independent learning which is a policy in education in Indonesia is currently associated with Paulo Friere's critical education and its implementation in learning Islamic Religious Education. For Paulo Friere, independent learning is a teaching process that frees students from all kinds of colonialism, such as the banking system.  Freire's construction of education leads to education which will lead people out of the shackles of oppression. In line with that, the Merdeka Learning Program according to the Minister of Education and Culture will be the direction of future learning that focuses on improving the quality of human resources. Merdeka Learning is the beginning of the idea of ​​improving the monotonous national education system. Overall, the humanistic values ​​promoted by the Minister of Education and Culture's policies and the educational concepts offered by Friere are very relevant to be applied in education in Indonesia, especially Islamic Religious Education through the elements of educators, students and educational goals. Fokus kajian ini adalah bagaimana konsep merdeka belajar yang menjadi kebijakan pada pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini dikaitkan dengan pendidikan kritis Paulo Friere dan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Bagi Paulo Friere, merdeka belajar adalah proses pengajaran yang membebaskan peserta didik dari segala macam penjajahan, seperti banking system.  Konstruksi pendidikan Freire mengarah kepada pendidikan yang nantinya menghantar orang keluar dari belenggu penindasan. Selaras dengan itu, Program Merdeka Belajar menurut Mendikbud akan menjadi arah pembelajaran ke depan yang fokus pada meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, Merdeka Belajar merupakan permulaan dari gagasan untuk memperbaiki sistem pendidikan nasional yang terkesan monoton. Secara menyeluruh, nilai humanis yang diusung oleh kebijakan mendikbud dan konsep pendidikan yang ditawarkan Friere sangat relevan untuk diaplikasikan dalam pendidikan di Indonesia, khususnya Pendidikan Agama Islam melalui unsur pendidik, peserta didik dan tujuan pendidikan

Open University is needed to meet the needs of studying without being limited by space, time, amount, cost, age, and distance with a quality tutor. This study aims to describe the ideal form of tutor recruitment, the role of tutors and get quality tutors. This survey research was conducted at the Distance Learning Program Unit (DLPU) Surabaya with data collection methods through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Sources of data were obtained from Study groups, Tutors, Department of Education, Regional Responsibility in the tutorial period 2019.1 and 2019.2. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that: (1) The ideal form of tutor recruitment is through tutor selection, through the tutor candidate test, through agency recommendations and special offers. (2) The role of tutors in the professional learning process is that tutors are still needed for certain subjects, as innovators and motivators, to play a role in reducing dropout. (3) To get quality tutors and not only as a part-time job so that tutors in working remain professional is to build a sound system. The obligations and rewards that are received appropriately. Between taxes and a decent income. Also, between expertise or rank need to be adjusted to the level of compensation which is given.

The design of the RPP in the “Merdeka Belajar” program simplifies the making of lesson plans on one sheet. The three core components of the lesson plan are learning objectives, learning activities, and assessments. Therefore, it is necessary to immediately take concrete and innovative steps be able to produce an innovative RPP that can implement the true and complete "Merdeka Belajar" program. The purpose of this activity is to provide an understanding of the design of the lesson plans in the "Merdeka Belajar" program, by chang the technique of preparing the lesson plans which so far have been made in sheets into one sheet. The method in this activity is the lecture method and online demonstration. Community Service Activities with the theme Designing Innovative Lesson Plans in the Independent Learning Program at the Social Studies MGMP of Junior High Schools in Jember Regency had a positive impact. Social Studies teachers have become more aware of the Innovative RPP for independent learning launched by the Minister of Education and Culture

<p><em>To realize the Pancasila Student Profile, the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology issued one of the Independent Learning Program policies, namely the "Sekolah Penggerak". "Sekolah Penggerak" is implemented by strengthening the capacity roles of principals and driving teachers. The principal is a learning leader in each academic unit who is expected to move the school by collaborating with stakeholders to realize a student-centred school. "Guru Penggerak" are learning leaders who apply independent learning and move the entire educational ecosystem to realize learner-centred education. Becoming a learning leader as a "Sekolah Penggerak" Principal or "Guru Penggerak" requires a new paradigm shift. There is one Javanese local wisdom that can be actualized as a leadership model, namely Astha  Brata . This research is a descriptive study by examining the actualization of Astha  Brata 's leadership to realize the Pancasila Student Profile in the "Sekolah Penggerak". The method used is literature study through books, journals related documents and news/online. Study results show that Astha  Brata 's leadership values are still relevant and can be actualized to answer the challenges of being a school principal and "Guru Penggerak", who is expected to become a learning leader to realize the Pancasila Student Profile.</em></p>

This research is aimed to develop high school physics teaching materials that can provide independent learning to high school students in Physics learning, in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. The research applied research development methods. It is implemented in FKIP Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof.DR.HAMKA and the trial and implementation are done in a number of high schools in Jakarta in 2017. The development of physics learning module with contextual approach was implemented in several stages, the first is analysis, the second is feasibility test, and the last is field trial. The instruments consisted of needs analysis questionnaire, validation sheet of feasibility test, and validation sheet of the test results. The module developed was validated by senior physics teachers in several high schools in Jakarta. The validation shows interpretation score of 73% - 93%. Physics learning module with contextual approach on wave material already has correct components, and it is feasible to be used as a companion module.
