The digitalization of agriculture is connected with the increase in the efficiency and sustainability of its functioning. The paper studies the dynamics of indicators of the development of agricultural production in the Samara region. First of all, agriculture of the region is represented by crop production, the share of which in the total volume for a number of years has been over 60%. The basis of the regional crop production is the production of high quality food grains. Cereals are one of the most demanded items in the export of agricultural products. For the period from 2009 to 2020 the gross harvest of grain crops increased 1.6 times. The Samara region is one of the ten regions of the Russian Federation in terms of sunflower production. The gross harvest of sunflower, which serves as a raw material for the main export position of the region namely sunflower oil, has increased fivefold over the period. Digital technologies, the need to use which is determined by general trends in the development of the world economy, create new opportunities to increase the competitiveness of products and further develop the export potential not only of a particular region, but also of the country as a whole.

The development of agriculture largely depends on the creation of favorable state economic conditions, including in the form of state support for rural producers. The paper analyzes the results of state support of farmers of the Orenburg region over the past three years. In the Orenburg region, there is a decrease in state support. The downward trend has caused negative performance of agricultural enterprises. State support for the livestock industry has decreased. The experience of previous years has shown the need for public investment in animal husbandry. Crop production in the region absorbs half of public funds. In our opinion, crop production of the Orenburg region copes for a long period without the participation of the state. Due to underfunding of livestock in the region, the third part of agricultural organizations in the region is unprofitable. In 2018, the index of agricultural production decreased by ten percentage points compared to 2017. Research in the work, the structure of public investment, is of scientific interest, and the conclusions drawn are of practical importance for the regulation and management of state support. This is important not only for agriculture in the Orenburg region, but also for agricultural production in other regions of the Russian Federation. The increase in state investments in crop production in the regions of the Russian Federation speaks about the imperfection of land relations. Most of the rural producers work on leased land. Public finances settle with landowners, most often at the helm of state power or criminals.

The article analyzes the production of agricultural products by economic entities of Lviv region during the period of 2000–2017. Changes in the production of volumes of products by agrarian business entities during the period under review reflect certain trends in the areas of their functioning. Thus, in particular, as a result of the research, it was established that the volumes of agricultural production produced by all categories of farms increased in 2017 compared to 2000 by 40.9%, and from 2016 by 6.1%, including: crop production, respectively, in %: 77.2 and 7.7 and livestock production – by 4.1; 3.5 The study of the volumes of agrarian production in the context of the main producers shows that the agricultural enterprises have significantly increased production, and the households have made minor changes. At the same time, there were solid trends in the dynamical increase in the share of agricultural production produced by agricultural enterprises and the decrease in its production by households. Appropriate trends also occurred in the productive use of agricultural land (production per 100 hectares of agricultural land). Thus, agricultural enterprises on these indicators considerably exceed the economy of the population. The above data in Table 2 confirms the specific digital indicators. On this occasion, we note that when in 2000 agricultural enterprises produced agrarian products per 100 hectares of agricultural land, UAH thous.: 98.3; including: crop production 75.6 and livestock production 22.7, then in 2017, these indicators respectively were: 1284.2; 889.9 and 391.3, or this increase for the analysis period was: times: 13.0; 11.8 and 17.2. As far as households are concerned, there is a slightly different trend: in 2017 in comparison with 2000 there were processes of reduction of these relative indicators and they made in 2017 when comparing their values with the level of 2000, respectively, %: 64.0; 80, and 49.5. Thus, the results of the conducted research indicate that in the agricultural production of Lviv region intensive development processes of large agrarian formations and slowing down of small farms. These positive trends will continue to evolve and will continue to develop until optimal relationships are established between large and small forms of management.

The article presents a forecast for agriculture development in the Chuvash Republic up to 2022 according to three scenarios: optimistic, probabilistic and pessimistic. Agriculture occupies a special position in the region's economy and is a system-forming industry. The share of agriculture in the gross regional product makes 9%, which is significantly higher than in other regions of the country, and the share of residents living in rural areas is 36.6%. Structurally, the agriculture of the Chuvash Republic is quite balanced. During the study period from 2010–2019, significant positive changes in the industry can be noted. Thus, the production of basic agricultural products increased by 1.93, and the gross output of basic crops increased by 2.16. However, despite the positive trends, there are still problems in certain areas. The production of the animal husbandry main products during the study period decreased by 135.6 thousand tons; the agricultural machinery fleet in agricultural organizations decreased by 1.97; the number of livestock decreased by 147.3 thousand heads. In order to predict future changes in the industry, the authors, based on the dynamics of indicators for 2010–2019 that characterize agricultural production in the Chuvash Republic, and using the Excel program, proposed three options for the development of the situation for 2020–2022 – optimistic, probabilistic and pessimistic. Studies have shown that a pessimistic development scenario is more likely to be implemented, which requires immediate corrective actions in the agricultural sector of the Chuvash Republic.

This article is devoted to the analysis of domestic and international legal bases of use of antibiotics in organic animal husbandry, and also formulation on its basis of the conclusions and offers directed on improvement of the current agrarian legislation in the specified sphere. It is determined that the reform of Ukrainian legislation on veterinary medicine and feed takes in to account the main international requirements for regulating the use of antibiotics in animal husbandry, in particular Regulation (EU) 2019/6 of the European Parliament and Council of 11.12.2018 «On veterinary medicinal products and repealing of the Directive 2001/82/EU». For the effective implementation of legislative requirements in practice, the need to continue working in the following areas is justified: development of by laws in the field of antimicrobial drugs in animal husbandry; collection, accumulation and analysis of information on the amounts and types of antibiotics used by agricultural producers; development of advanced livestock technologies without the use of antimicrobials, taking in to account the positive experience of other countries; dissemination of knowledge about such technologies among agricultural entities. As a result of the study of the current legislation in the field of organic agricultural production, it was concluded that the legal regulation of the use of antibiotics in organic animal husbandry meets international requirements, namely such basic documents as Commission Regulation (EU) of 05.09.2008 № 889/2008 «Detailed rules on organic production, labeling and control for the implementation of Council Regulation (EU) № 834/2007 on organic production and labeling of organic products» and Council Regulation (EU) № 834/2007 «On organic production and labeling of organic products, and repealing the Regulation (EEC) № 2092/91». To improve the mechanism of control and trace ability of antibiotics in the treatment of farm animals in organic animal husbandry, it is proposed: to accelerate the work on the adoption of the Procedure for the use of antimicrobial drugs in veterinary medicine; to supplement the Procedure (detailed rules) of organic production and circulation of organic products with provisions on the requirements for documentary confirmation of the use of antimicrobial drugs by operators, storage periods of relevant documents. Keywords: antibiotics, antibiotic resistance, safety of organic products, organic livestock products, organic agricultural production, organic animal husbandry, legal regulation, quality of organic products

Current status and problems of agricultural production on radioactively contaminated areas of Kyiv Polissya have been analyzed. It has been found that the Chernobyl disaster led to significant changes in specialization of agricultural production in both plant growing and animal husbandry. Such traditional regional industries as flax, hop etc completely collapsed. Most of the livestock sectors, especially dairy cattle, have become unprofitable due to abnormal production contamination and negative ecological image of the region. Large companies have become the most competitive in conditions of Kyiv Polissya. The most effective countermeasures have been identified and initial steps to obtain the radioecologically safe agricultural products on the affected by the Chernobyl disaster areas have been developed. Specialization of agricultural production, depending on the level of radioactive contamination has been improved. Agricultural enterprises of the region are not able to carry out the recommended measures in full because of lack of funds. Therefore, there is necessity to introduce the economic incentives for farmers, which will provide comprehensive implementation of a number of economic, environmental, administrative, social and psychological operations.

The article proposes a methodical approach to segmenting the regions of the national economy by the state of the agricultural sector. The assessment of the state of the agricultural sector of the regions and their segmentation was carried out in two stages. At the first stage, two parameters are set for evaluation and segmentation: the volume of agricultural production in farms of all categories and the number of employed population in agriculture, forestry and fisheries. The level of each region according to the selected parameters (high or low) was determined relative to their average value. As a result, four groups of regions were obtained: with significant volumes of agricultural production and with a significant number of employees; with insignificant volumes of production and with a significant number of employees; with significant production volumes and a small number of employees; with insignificant volumes of production and with insignificant number of employees. In the second stage, evaluation and segmentation were conducted to determine the specialization of the agricultural sector of the regions (livestock, crop production). Grouping by relevant specialization is carried out according to the following parameters: the number of enterprises engaged in agricultural activities; the number of employees in enterprises engaged in agricultural activities; agricultural products per capita; sown areas of crops; gross harvest of cereals and legumes; gross harvest of sunflower, potatoes, vegetables, fruit and berry crops; raising farm animals; production of meat, milk, eggs and wool. The ratings of the regions of the national economy were determined for each of the indicators selected for analysis, and then the arithmetic mean of these ratings was calculated. According to the results of the analysis of the calculated average values of regional ratings for indicators that separately characterize the development of crop production and livestock development, Vinnytsia, Poltava, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Lviv and Khmelnytsky regions are almost equally focused on both crop and livestock production - they occupy almost identical positions in two different ratings; the agricultural sector of such regions as Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv and Mykolayiv specializes in crop production; the agricultural sector of Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, and Volyn oblasts is mostly focused on animal husbandry.
