Introduction. During the past ten years the important changes in educational programs of higher education point out the transition from the traditional live lecture form to the distance learning form (the online training format). Training for innovative engineering activities requires to involve students in the online training format and to explore its applicability. The aim of the present article is to identify the areas of the effective use of the online training format in the educational process for high school institutions and the prospects of further development of the distance learning.Methodology and research methods. In this article, an integration of theoretical and practical training of the innovative engineering with the methods of the analysis and synthesis, a pedagogical experiment and mathematical statistics were used.Results. The areas of use of the online learning in the field of traditional and innovative formats of training have been identified. A subsystem of storage of the information on the course of educational activities is suggested. A high efficiency of the distance learning application is confirmed by the results of a pedagogical experiment within the unified programs for a wide audience of students and persons having the right to an individual work schedule.Scientific novelty. The performed research contributes to identify the framework of the effective use of the online learning at higher education institutions. The suggested form of storage of the information on the education process events in a separate subsystem allow for processing and generalising the data with the use of the BigData and DataMining technologies.Practical significance. Further development of the research presented in this article might be focused on the establishment of numerical relations when using various education formats within various disciplines providing the greatest effect when training students at higher education institutions.

World Health Organization declared the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 to be a pandemic on March 12, 2020. In response to that, Malaysia has announced movement control order effective on March 18, 2020, leading to the near-total closures of education center. University closures impact not only students, lecturers, and families, but have far-reaching economic and societal consequences. In response to that, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has introduced the use of online distance learning and open educational applications and platforms that lecturers can use to reach learners remotely and limit the disruption of education. Even though UiTM has already adopted the integrated face-to-face and online learning approach in the classroom since many years ago, however, the commencement of solely using online learning platform, in the absence of face-to-face meetings is challenging. In addition, it is also crucial to note that the previous study on the determinants of the intention and effective use of online distance learning is scarce. Thus, this study seeks to identify the significant relationship between the intention and the effective use of an ODL among the students. Findings from this study reveals that four out of five determinants (performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition and intrinsic value) found to be significantly relationship with the behavioral intention of the students to use online distance learning. Behavioral intention also was found to be significant with use behavior. Although the intrinsic values (new determinants) has contributed to the theory, it is recommended that the same study will be carry out to the entire of education center, either public or private. Keywords: Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Condition, Intrinsic Value, Behavior

Since the announcement of a positive case of Covid-19, various efforts have been made by the government to prevent its spread. One of them is by implementing distance learning at all levels of education, including elementary schools. Even various distance learning media that used to be foreign to our ears are now getting closer. Every media that we use has advantages and disadvantages, Of the many distance learning media, the writer is interested in choosing zoom as a learning medium. The aim is to measure the effective use of zoom in mathematics learning on currency equivalence material. The author uses observational research methods to obtain valid data. Before learning by using zoom, the success rate is 20%. After doing the research, the writer gets the result that the success rate of learning using zoom is 100%. From the research results, it can be concluded that the use of zoom in distance learning is effective on the equivalent of currency fractions.

The article deals with issues of methodology of establishing distance learning by means of video lessons. It contributes to the resolution of methodological contradictions that can take place while establishing distance learning process. The purpose of the research is to clarify the concept of video lessons as well as to identify organizational and pedagogical conditions for effective use of video lessons in distance learning. The following research methods were used: analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature, conference materials, study of educational Internet portals, analysis of practical experience on the use of video lessons in distance learning for schoolchildren. As a result of the research, the concept of video lesson is clarified, its types are briefly described in terms of form and methodological content, and online learning platforms for distance learning are reviewed. Various options for organizing distance learning for schoolchildren using video lessons, their capabilities and limitations are presented, and detailed methodological recommendations are given. It is concluded that the presence of three mandatory stages in the distance learning process, definition of the interaction mode in each of the stages, based on specific conditions of the learning process (the technical capabilities of the parties, the nature of the educational material, level of preparation and motivation of pupils), the presence of qualitative feedback in the dyad "teacher – student" are related to the organizational and pedagogical conditions for effective use of video lessons in distance learning.

The possibilities of implementing game technologies for distance learning of Russian as a foreign language using online services are considered. The relevance of the work is due to the development of education digitalization and the high didactic potential of gaming. The purpose of this study is to formulate guidelines for the selection of Web 2.0 services for the implementation of gaming technologies aimed at the development of linguistic, communicative, linguistic-cultural competences of foreign students in the course of distance learning of their Russian language. The study analyzed the techniques and methods of using online game tasks in teaching Russian as a foreign language from the standpoint of the following features: methodic tasks, distance learning format, the number of players, the presence of automatic verification of answers, the nature of the choice, the presence of a creative component, the possibility of instant switching of the game template within one content, translation features. It is concluded that many traditional game tech-niques that have become habitual in face-to-face work can be applied in distance learning. Online tools make it possible to organize manipulative play activities, team play, and communication in a digital environment in a form that is fun for students. The results of this study are essential both for understanding the methodoic features of the organizing distance learning process in general, and for the effective use of gaming technologies when teaching Russian to foreigners.

The participants in Internationalizing the Curriculum I took a multi-level approach to considering the challenges of incorporating global issues into higher education. Our discussion—facilitated by track moderator Pamela Zeiser (University of North Florida)—focused primarily on the challenges of internationalizing the curriculum on four levels: the student, the course, the program, and the institution. Within this general framework the group addressed many related pedagogical issues, such as active learning, the role of technology, the effective use of distance learning, and how each complements or challenges the learning environment and the goal of internationalizing the curriculum.

The article deals with the application of distance learning technologies in the organization of professional training of future primary school teachers. The authors analyze the main trends in the preparation of students of the pedagogical direction in the university. One of the main trends is the formation of the ability to use and creatively process educational technologies in the course of their professional activities. Taking into account this trend and the results of the survey of students allowed the authors to identify the need to use new distance learning technologies. As an example of the effective use of distance learning technologies, the authors describe the work on the creation of an electronic journal by students. This type of work made it possible to involve students in educational activities. In addition, students have gained experience in the use of distance learning technologies. The researchers think that participation of students in this work takes on a new meaning in their professional training, acting not only as a means of evaluating the acquired knowledge, skills, but also as a resource for developing their subject-methodical competencies and educational actions. The article is of interest to teachers of colleges and higher educational institutions and also students of pedagogical specialties.
