The process of modernization of legal education in Ukraine, where the emphasis is on the practical training of future lawyers, and where clinical education plays a crucial role is considered. It is substantiated that legal clinic is a necessary component in obtaining the profession of a lawyer; consolidation of theoretical knowledge and acquisition of practical skills by students, implementation of legal education activities, provision of free legal aid to people in need are grounded. It is proved that the presence of legal clinics within the structure of higher education institutions, their activities and importance for improving the practical training of future lawyers indicates the indisputability of the necessity to study and research legal clinical education. Emphasis is placed on the need to improve the system of future lawyers training. It is legal clinical education that is the best form of legal influence on a person, and is an integral part of the overall reform of higher education, which is being carried out today in Ukraine and aims to train lawyers with high level of competencies and legal awareness. Legal clinics allow students to be creatively realized, to reveal their intellectual potential; and are a link between the traditional educational process and future practical activities. Increase the number of legal clinics, separation of legal clinics into a separate structural unit with the staff in all higher education institutions, the introduction of teaching of a mandatory course in legal clinical education will contribute to the formation of a future lawyer. Legal clinic is a special kind of legal education (for the population) and an innovative form of legal education (for the applicants for law schools).

With the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, the only way to learn and communicate with students is distance learning. The aim. Analyze the features of the student scientific circle on surgery in the mode of distance learning in quarantine. Materials and methods. When the pandemic has suddenly spread to all spheres of life, the only way to learn and communicate with students is distance learning. In Ukraine, distance learning is regulated by an order of the Ministry of Education and Science from 31.10.2013 № 1518 "On approval of the Requirements to higher educational institutions and institutions of postgraduate education, scientific, educational and scientific institutions that provide educational services in the form of distance learning to train and improve the skills of specialists in accredited areas and specialties." With the approval of distance learning, the work of the student scientific circle (CSC) "Sharp Scalpel" at the department also went online. The structure of classes during studies in the CSC consists of a theoretical part where students report the results of scientific research from literature sources according to the topics they work on with supervisors, as well as a practical part where they work directly with patients under the supervision of the CSC leader. Some classes are held in the vivarium, where they learn to suture the intestines of animals. Often the structure of practical training in the CSC is not so clear, because in the presence of an interesting clinical case in the hospital or operating room, students are fully engaged in practical work. Results. With the transition to distance learning, the structure of classes in the CSC has undergone a significant transformation - the most important and interesting part for the group has fallen, namely the possibility of contact with the patient. The group members were divided into two groups: Group I – 8 students (25%) - students who, in addition to the practical part of the lesson, are also interested in the theoretical part of the group, who continued to study literature sources according to the topic they received and actively prepared for the scientific-practical conference. Group II-22 students (75%) – those, who lost interest in the CSC, when the opportunity to work with the patient became inaccessible. Another disadvantage of online learning is the loss of society, are the possibility of direct communication between students is lost, the necessary skills in communicating with the patient are not acquired, which is extremely important in the medical profession. Conclusions. In the case of quarantine, distance learning is an important and necessary form of educational process, even in medical schools, but it can not replace live communication between students, with the patient and the teacher. Online learning does not provide a practical part of the CSC work, which is manifested in the loss of interest in classes in the CSC among students.

The results of the study of distance learning of disciplines on the example of inclusive education of students of the International Open University of Human Development "Ukraine" in a pandemic are presented. Theoretical and practical developments in the use of mass media are analyzed, approaches and understanding, communication through information and communication technologies, which significantly changed the educational process, thanks to new tools and channels of influence on the student audience, are comprehended. The versatility of communication is traced through the analysis and comparison of different approaches to understanding mass communication as a form of indirect communication through technical means to disseminate information to a mass student audience, the variability of communication tools. At the present stage of its development, mass communication promotes change (sometimes irreversible), dominated by tendencies of depersonalization and unification, which simultaneously affect the increase of student audience and reduce the dialogic quality of communication. Emphasis is placed on the ambiguity of this phenomenon, its shortcomings (dangerous viruses, lack of motivation, confidence, teamwork skills, difficult student identification, etc.) and advantages over traditional teaching of disciplines. Communication serves to unite the audience around a common goal, has an open, public nature, aimed at large student audiences, increasing information platforms, modularity, a large amount of educational information, no geographical boundaries, individual approach, webinars, videos, audio scripts, forums, on-line testing, interactive textbooks, boards, etc. The main factors of e-education implementation in the conditions of inclusion are given, examples of educational Internet environment, key tendencies of distance learning that transform learning with the help of technological innovations are highlighted, the need to reveal the experience of higher education institutions on special methods of teaching students is emphasized. special needs.
