<span>The purpose of this study was to determine the impact and categories of teacher performance in building student interest and motivation on mathematics achievement. The population in this study was students in the eighth grade of junior high schools from six public and two private schools, and a sample of 277 students was taken by cluster sampling. Data collection instruments used a questionnaire, and data analysis was done by using by descriptive and path analysis. The results of data analysis showed that partially, teacher performance significantly affected student interest and motivation excel at mathematics. Simultaneously, teacher performance is very significant in influencing student interest and motivation to be excellent in mathematics. Partially, teacher performance builds interest and student motivation for mathematics achievement is low category. Simultaneously, teacher performance builds student interest and motivation to excel at mathematics is low category. Both of these can be caused by the ability of teachers to build motivation and interest is not good, so students are also less interested and motivated to learn mathematics.</span>

Abstrak : Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan dan keterampilan manajerial kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja guru di MAN 1 Kotamobagu. Jenis dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data diolah menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif yang diperoleh dari hasil kuisioner yang telah disebarkan oleh penulis kepada para guru di MAN 1 Kotamobagu. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang negatif dan tidak signifikan antara perilaku kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dengan kinerja guru di MAN 1 Kotamobagu. Jika dikaitkan dengan keterampilan managerial terhadap kinerja guru di MAN 1 Kotamobagu memiliki pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan. Maka kinerja guru di MAN I Kotamobagu dipengaruhi oleh keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah. Sehingga dapat dismpulkan bahwa pengaruh perilaku kepemimpinan dan keterampilan manajerial setelah digabungkan memiliki pengaruh sedikit terhadap kinerja guru di MAN 1 Kotamobagu. Abstract: This article aims to examine the influence of madrasah principals leadership behavior and managerial skills on teacher performance in MAN 1 Kotamobagu. The type and research design used is quantitative. Data collection was processed using descriptive statistical techniques obtained from the questionnaires distributed by the author to teachers in MAN 1 Kotamobagu. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. This study proves a negative and insignificant influence between the leadership behavior of madrasah principals and teacher performance in MAN 1 Kotamobagu. If it is associated with managerial skills on teacher performance in MAN 1, Kotamobagu has a positive and insignificant effect. Then the performance of teachers in MAN I Kotamobagu is influenced by the managerial skills of the principal. So it can be concluded that the impact of leadership behavior and managerial skills after being combined has little effect on teacher performance in MAN 1 Kotamobagu. Kata Kunci : Perilaku Kepemimpinan; Keterampilan Manajerial; Kinerja Guru

AbstractHumans on earth need social interaction with others. Humans can use more than one language in communication. Thus, the impact that arises when the use of one or more languages is the contact between languages. One obvious form of contact between languages is interference. Interference can occur at all levels of life. As in this study, namely Indonesian Language Interference in Learning PPL Basic Thailand Unhasy Students. This study contains the form of interference that occurs in Thai students who are conducting teaching practices in the classroom. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that seeks to describe any interference that occurs in the speech of Thai students when teaching practice. Data collection methods in this study are (1) observation techniques, (2) audio-visual recording techniques using CCTV and (3) recording techniques, by recording all data that has been obtained. Whereas the data wetness uses, (1) data triangulation, (2) improvement in perseverance and (3) peer review through discussion. Data analysis techniques in this study are (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation and (4) conclusions. It can be seen that the interference that occurs includes (1) interference in phonological systems, (2) interference in morphological systems and (3) interference in syntactic systems.

With the development of Internet technology, teachers are constantly seeking innovative methods to match the potential of enhanced technology. Although many studies have been conducted before on this subject, they are not enough in this field. The purpose of this article is to explore innovative designs to change traditional modes of teaching and examine the impact of online English instruction of reading, based on constructivism. The research study was carried out at the Number 9 middle school of Bengbu, an underdeveloped area of China. In the study, online methods were compared with traditional textbook literature methods to improve the reading proficiency of students. A questionnaire survey was designed specifically for this study and it was administered to the students at the end of a semester, and the data was analyzed. The outcome of this study indicated that students considered online method as effective and that they gained more knowledge. This method helped them in improving their reading skills, aroused student interest and motivation, and exam performance of the students has been improved significantly, and thus, it created a positive learning situation.

The research is conducted in Banjar Berawa/Desa Adat Berawa, nort Kuta district, Badung Regency. The study purposes to know the impact of tourism growth to the society consumptive pattern in Berawa. The technique of the data collection use direct observation technique to the location, interviewing for informan, I.E.Bendesa Adat Berawa, Klian Desa Berawa, Klian Dinas Berawa, Klian Subak Tibubeneng Village, Local society, and documentation by taking photos. The data are analysed by using qualitative data analysis technique which are working based on data, searching and finding pattern, getting interesting data and deciding the data that will be ssuced. The technique of informants assigmnen is purposive sampling which is assigning the sample by using particular consideration so, deserves to be a sample. The data analysis includes with collection data, reduction data, displaying data, conclusion and  verivication. The result of the study shows the society point of view to the aconomy establishmemt of educational aspec of the society which is getting increase, society in Banjar Berawa are also starting to enterpreneurship by set up abussiness such as homestay and laundy. The point of view of society to the customary order is the society seens strong with the wealth that they have. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penggunaan teknik discovery dengan media gambar untuk membangkitkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn kelas VII di SMPN 19 Mataram. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data adalah metode observasi dokumentasi dan angket dengan metode analisis data korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian adalah berdasarkan analisis data yaitu: Hasil analisis data yang di peroleh dalam adalah 0,574, dengan taraf signifikan 5%, maka diperoleh nilai 0,300. Jadi nilai r perhitungan lebih besar dibandingkan dengan nilai r tabel (0,574>0,300). Jadi hipotesis (Ha) adalah, “Adanya Pengaruh Penggunaan Teknik Discovery Dengan Media Gambar Membangkitkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas VII SMPN 19 Mataram Pada Bidang Studi PPKn Tahun Pelajaran 2017-2018”. Diterima. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of using discovery techniques with image media to arouse students' interest in learning in the seventh grade PPKn subjects at SMP 19 Mataram. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research, with an experimental approach. Data collection method is documentation and questionnaire observation method with product moment correlation data analysis method. The results of the study are based on data analysis, namely: The results of the analysis of the data obtained in is 0.574, with a significant level of 5%, then the value of 0.300 is obtained. So the r value of the calculation is greater than the r table value (0.574> 0.300). So the hypothesis (Ha) is, "The Influence of Using Discovery Techniques With Image Media Generates Student Interest in Class VII SMPN 19 Mataram In The Field of KDP Studies Lesson 2017-2018". Be accepted.

This quasi – experimental research aims to determinethe effect of cooperative learning model Think Pair Share (TPS) and Numbered Heads Together (NHT) on students' mathematics achievement, and the effect ofcooperative learning model TPSand NHT on student motivation.Three classes were randomly selected for experiment and control groups, each class consists of 32 students. A questionnaire of 26 items is used to measure motivation test, and a test consisting of nine questions is used for measuring mathematics achievement. T-test was used for data analysis. The findings show that there is significant effect of both cooperative learningTPS model and NHT model onstudent mathematics achievement. However, the effect of  TPS and NHT models on student motivation to learn mathematics is not significant.   Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis  pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dan tipe NHT terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika. Penelitian ini melibatkan 3 kelas experimen dan kelas control, masing-masing terdiri dari 32 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes motivasi yang terdiri dari 26 indikator, dan tes matematika yang terdiri dari 9 pertanyaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, demikian pula penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT juga berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.  Namun tidak ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT. Di samping itu ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPSdan Tipe NHT terhadap motivasi belajar matematika siswa.

This study attempts to describe supervision competence and managerial competence of the heads schools, to describe educational quality of Islamic Junior High Schools (MTS), and then to analyze the influence of the supervision competence and managerial competence toward educational quality of MTS both partially and simultaneously in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. This study is ex-post facto. The population is all the teachers of all private MTS with accredited A. It is analyzed all the teachers as the sample with 54 people of all. Method of data collection is through questionnaires about supervision competence, also using data analysis, and multiple regressions. The results of the study obtained that the supervision competence and the managerial competence of the head is in the medium category. The supervision competence of the head schools significantly influences the quality of education. The managerial competence of the head schools significantly influences the quality of education. Both supervision competence and managerial competence of the heads of schools have the significantly influencer toward educational quality of MTS, in Gantarang district, Bulukumba Regency.

This study aimed to determine the family waste management in the planting of environmental care characters for early childhood. The purpose of this study was to explore information about environmental care programs in Kitiran village, family waste management on the inculcation of early childhood environmental character care, and the impact of family waste management on inculcating character care for the environment of early childhood. The research approach used was qualitative descriptive study with the type of phenomenological research. The research subjects were parents who had early childhood, run a family waste management, and the residence is in Kitiran village. Sources of data used were parents who run family waste management, early childhood, public figures who are the originators of environmental care programs in Kitiran village. Data collection techniques used was purposive sampling which had taken by interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity test used was source triangulation and technique triangulation. The data analysis technique used was interactive data analysis consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Kitiran village had an environmental care program that was integrated with all elements of the community including families waste management activities become routine activities for every family member of the Kitiran village including early childhood. Families there introduced and instilled the character of caring for the environment in children from an early age. Children in their daily lives were involved in every family waste management activity simply. The age of the child and the active role of different parents in the process of inculcating the character of the child's environmental care in waste management made understanding and actions of child waste management different. This study aims to determine the contribution of online learning media to students' interest in learning in network service technology subjects for class XI Smk Negeri 8 Padang. The type of this research is correlational quantitative, the sampling is done using the Proportion Random Sampling technique. Total 66 people. The instrument used in data collection in this study was a questionnaire compiled according to the Likert scale model. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 20 and Microsoft Excel. Based on the results of the study, the value of rcount -0.212 while the value of rtable is 0.250 because the value of rcount is smaller than the value of rtable is 0.212 < 0.250) it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between online learning media and student interest in learning, with a contribution value of 4.5% which means that online learning contributes to students' interest in learning in network service technology subjects is very low. which means that online learning contributes to students' interest in learning in network service technology subjects is very low.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kasus bullying yang ada di SMP Negeri 36 Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu pendidik, peserta didik, dan kepala sekolah. Tempat penelitian yakni di SMP Negeri 36 Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data memalui wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi, display data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini yakni bentuk perilaku bullying yang ada adalah bullying secara verbal, fisik, dan mental/psikologis. Motivasi dari perilaku bullying tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya rasa senang yang muncul dalam diri pelaku, mencari perhatian baik dari guru maupun teman, menghindari kegiatan belajar, dan menginginkan uang. Dampak yang muncul dari adanya bullying adalah kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi terganggu, peserta didik tidak bisa mengikuti pembelajaran, peserta didik tidak mau masuk ke kelas, peserta didik tidak mau berangkat ke sekolah. Pihak sekolah sudah melakukan upaya dalam mencegah bullying terjadi kembali yakni melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dari pihak sekolah kepada orang tua dan peserta didik mengenai kondisi dan penerimaan keberagaman dari peserta didik. Selain itu pendidikan juga melakukan pengaturan ruang kelas agar kegiatan pembelajaran dapat berlangsung baik sehingga bullying tidak terjadi lagi. This study aims to determine cases of bullying in SMP Negeri 36 Surabaya. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive research type. The subjects of this study are educators, students, and school principals. The place of research is at SMP Negeri 36 Surabaya. Data collection techniques through interviews and observations. Data analysis through reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the forms of bullying behavior that are verbal, physical, and mental / psychological bullying. The motivation of the bullying behavior is motivated by a sense of pleasure that arises in the offender, seeking attention from both teachers and friends, avoiding learning activities, and wanting money. The impact arising from the bullying is that learning activities become disrupted, students cannot participate in learning, students do not want to go to class, students do not want to go to school. The school has made efforts to prevent bullying from happening again, namely through socialization activities from the school to parents and students regarding the conditions and diversity acceptance from students. In addition, education also arranges classrooms so that learning activities can take place well so that bullying does not happen again
