Acta Radiologica celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2021. In this article, the foundation of the journal and its editors are described. During 100 years, the manuscript structure changed from single-author verbose monographs to multi-author collaborations on statistically analyzed research subjects. The authorship changed from purely Nordic authors to a truly international cadre of authors, and the size of the journal increased considerably, in issues per year, printed pages, and published articles per year. The Foundation of Acta Radiologica has been able to give out two prizes, the Xenia Forsselliana and the Acta Radiologica International Scientific Prize for the best manuscripts each year. The increasing submissions of manuscripts is an indication that Acta Radiologica will continue to publish important scientific results for many years to come.

The article is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the head institution of the Federal Scientific Vegetable Center - the oldest and leading breeding organization for vegetable crops, better known in the scientific and socio-economic spheres of the Russian Federation by its historical name - VNIISSOK. The center's activity dates back to the creation in 1920 of the Gribovskaya Vegetable Breeding Experimental Station, where, under the leadership of Professor Sergei Ivanovich Zhegalov, a theoretical and practical basis for the development of domestic breeding was laid. In 1970, the experimental station was transformed into the AllUnion Research Institute of Selection and Seed Production of Vegetable Crops, and in 1992 into the All-Russian Research Institute of Selection and Seed Production of Vegetable Crops. Over the years, breeding methods have been developed and improved, including modern biotechnological methods, using molecular marking and interspecies hybridization. The results obtained during this period reflect the traditions of scientific schools and approaches laid down by scientists-breeders, seed growers, vegetable growers, flower growers, both in the field of basic research, and in the creation of varieties and hybrids of vegetable crops. The organizational and structural reform of breeding institutions carried out in 2017 contributed to the formation of the Federal scientific vegetable center (FSBSI FSVC), which includes VNIISSOK as the parent organization and 8 branches located in various ecological and geographical zones. At a new stage of development, the FSBSI FSVC continues its glorious traditions. Scientists have obtained world-class results in basic research and competitive selection achievements in priority applied research. The scientific results and structural changes that have occurred over the hundred-year period of the breeding establishment are the foundation for the further development of the vegetable science in the country.

I review the status of development of the PLANCK project which is slated for launch mid-2008. In particular, I illustrate the type of scientific results to expect in light of the current knowledge of the two on-board instruments. Indeed both instruments have now been delivered to industry for integration and they have been fully tested. This leads us to anticipate that the steady and fast rate of progress enjoyed by cosmology, in particular through the constraints given by the analysis of the Cosmic Microwave background (CMB) will continue unabated in the years to come.

The implementation of guidance and counseling services should take place in comfortable and conducive conditions. Guidance and counseling is expected to develop one's potential and competence in the community to be able to fulfill their duties optimally. In addition, in helping individuals overcome various problems that can interfere with its development[1]. This research is motivated by many students who feel afraid when called by counseling and guididance teachers, let alone have to come to the counseling room to consult or sharing probem. The lack of interest in consulting students was allegedly due to various factors. One of them is due to the lack of socialization conducted by counseling and guidance teachers in introducing what and how counseling and guidance is. If this socialization can be carried out well, it will at least give a clear picture to students that the counseling and guidance is present as a forum and student's friend while studying. Efforts that can be done include: Able to familiarize yourself with students and be able to position yourself as friends, and improve counseling skills so as to improve verbal and non verbal communication skills, express problems, understand problems and accept students. So that these efforts are maximized, the counseling and guidance teacher can use the media as a tool, one of which can be through the help of media, namely mobile phones. To get rid of these feelings, the BK teacher uses mobile media as a communication tool to consult with students. This study aims to determine whether the use of mobile phones is effective in increasing the interest in consulting students of STATE 2ND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL. The approach used in this study is qualitative research that is shown to describe and describe existing phenomena that are scientific[2]. While the type of research used is descriptive research. This research was conducted in SMP NEGERI 2 BELO, the research subjects were 2 counseling and guidance teachers and 5 students who had used mobile phones in consulting services. The method of data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive by interpreting the data obtained. Concerns about the influence of financial interests on research have increased, along with research dollars from pharmaceutical and other for-profit companies. Researchers’ financial ties to industry sponsors of research have also increased. Financial interests in biomedical research could influence research design, conduct, or reporting, and could compromise data integrity, participant safety, or both. Investigators’ financial ties with for-profit companies may influence reported scientific results, and may have compromised research participant safety.Disclosure is one commonly accepted method of managing financial relationships in order to minimize possible threats to scientific objectivity, the safety of research participants, or public trust in the integrity of clinical research. Disclosure is presumed useful to the extent that “it gives those who would be affected, or who are otherwise in a good position to assess the risks, information they need to make their own decision.”

What difference does it make, ethically speaking, to be part of an action research project involving youth? How are participants supposed to act towards one another? How are they supposed to act toward others- research subjects, peers, adults in positions of authority, community members- who they encounter in the course of their projects? Youth Participatory Action Research (Youth PAR), as reflected in this volume's various projects, raises ethical issues that deserve its supporters' attention. Action researchers who are serious about both achieving their objectives and doing the right thing in the process are bound to come across certain kinds of ethical challenges in their activity. This essay will try to illuminate some common and troubling challenges.
