This assessment refers to the ecological footprint which is a way to measure the impacts of human activities on Earth. It basically calculates the demand and consumption that measures the needs of a society, as well as the waste and greenhouse gases that generates daily in productive sea and fertile land areas. Moreover, it measures all the natural resources needed to support the material needs of a population or person through the technology, lifestyle and habits of each country. Subsequently we are going to examine the advantages and disadvantages of the phenomenon that human activities provoke and the ways to eliminate the caused problem. The world-average ecological footprint in 2013 was 2.8 global hectares per person and the average per country ranges from over 10 to under 1 global hectares per person. There is also a high variation within countries, based on individual lifestyle and economic possibilities that we also examine. Summarizing all those effects we are going to analyze open international data as far as the metabolism of the ecological footprint concerns in our word but especially in our country to form prospects for our planet the principles of life cycle assessments with the aid of statistics and charts.

With the signing of the ‘Kyoto Protocol’, more attention has been paid to the greenhouse effect because of the emission of CO2 of human activities. Therefore carbon sequestration accounting becomes more and more significant as the world starts to realize the significance of launching forestation activities for carbon sequestration. This research reviewed the two categories of methods in accounting forest carbon sequestration: Biomass Investigation methods and Microclimatology methods. Principles of the two methods will be introduced in the essay, followed by detailed analysis on both the advantages and disadvantages. Furthermore, the individual applicability will be discussed at the end of each method. Lastly, according to the characteristics of the Greater Khingan Mountains in Heilongjiang Province, the research selected the Stem Volume method as the method to account carbon sequestration of the Greater Khingan Mountains.

Introduction. Currently, a business both organizes its sales through social networks and solves various business problems for them, for example, finding employees and business partners, expanding sales markets. Companies that want to grow successfully, to be in demand in the market, must pay close attention to social networks. The purpose of the paper is to study the role of social networks in the functioning of business, establishing and maintaining business communications, and assessing the advantages and disadvantages of different types of business networks. Results. Internet penetration in Ukraine in January 2021 is higher than the world average – 67.6 % or 29.47 million users, and the average growth of Internet users in Ukraine – by 7.3 % or 2 million people. A positive trend in the use of social networks in Ukraine has been observed in recent years also. Thus, their use for business communications in Ukraine is a promising way to establish business contacts. Among the most popular social networks in Ukraine in recent years are Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. If the promotion of goods and services is appropriate through non-professional social networks, it is better to address business issues in professional networks, such as business social networks. Their purpose is to establish business contacts for job search, business partners, meet potential employers, announce vacancies and search for employees, investors, exchange experiences, etc. The disadvantages of using social networks for business are: the ability of attackers to access personal data, depersonalization of contacts etc. Business social networks also include corporate social networks. They help to organize and manage the staff distributed by the corporation's branches with the help of modern forms of business communication. Conclusion. Ukraine is characterized by a higher than the world average, Internet penetration. The same trend is observed in relation to the use of social networks in Ukraine. Although social networks for private use serve as a good platform for advertising and selling goods, from a business point of view, business social networks are the most appropriate for solving business issues and establishing business contacts. Their importance is growing due to the growing globalization of the economy, as well as the need for remote communication, which is due to the danger of the spread of Covid-19.

At the beginning of the twentieth year of the two millennia, humanity is faced with an illness. All spheres of human activities have altered. Due to the risk of COVID-19 infection, many enterprises have transferred their employees to remote work, since the less contact, the fewer threats. Until that time, people had mostly vague and stereotyped ideas about this format of employment. This article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of remote work, which is a consequence of a pandemic. It was analyzed worldwide statistical data from the World Economic Forum and organized questionnaire about online work among locals.

In line with the striving for a more sustainable orientation in manufacturing systems and industrial pursuit of resource efficiency, companies are looking for efficient processes. The consumption of electrical energy and other resources during the manufacturing phase is considered by the ecological footprint. This study offers a conception for the determination of the ecological footprint within manufacturing systems based on life cycle assessments. The existence of basic data is a requirement for such an evaluation. Therefore, a holistic measurement system is presented which is adaptable to small as well as large scaled production environments and different usage scenarios, e.g. full scale measurement or detailed process analysis.

Abstract PAS2050 was introduced in order to help combat the extremely high levels of emissions that the construction industry emits, as well as the large volume of natural resources they use, through the life cycle of a project. It was developed to create a consistent method of assessing the life cycle of Greenhouse gases as well as a method to increase understanding of where they arise from within a supply chain. This is essential in today’s world as without change, the climate will continue to rise in temperature and contribute negatively to the already dramatic effects of climate change that have already been seen. By implementing PAS2050 the industry aims to allow stakeholders to realise the impacts and encourage movement towards a more sustainable future. This research aims to determine how well the construction industry has adopted the carbon assessment strategy covered by PAS2050 through informed opinions, data and case studies. Using journals and research, alongside a questionnaire which will be distributed to individuals within the industry, an informed decision will be made to determine how well the construction industry has adopted PAS2050. The results found that the industry is having difficulty in adapting to the change at all levels and scopes. The findings of this research show that the industry has only touched the surface and although the larger organisations are leading the charge, enough is not being done by smaller organisations and the supply chain.

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that increase of proportion of high technology production in the aggregate product of the world economy, as a consequence of the new industrial evolution mid XX-early XXI century, defines a completely new, in terms of world experience, range of system views on the global economic system. The subject of research of the article is a process of developing of the theory of innovation system, an analysis of impact of the theory of long wave cycles on the innovative development of society. The goal of the article is to analyze the development of the theory of global and national innovative high-tech systems in time, considering the hypothesis of the existence of a rigid connection between long waves and the periods of basic innovation occurrence at various phases of the waves, in order to recognize the possible options for the development of events and to model the appropriate reaction to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the national innovation system in the context of the new industrial revolution. The objective is to research the patterns of the life cycle of innovations and their diffusion to identify the advantages and disadvantages of a transfer of high technology products for the national innovation system and also to identify the development trends and new factors, which define the essence of modern efficient high-tech system in terms of the new industrial revolution. General scientific methods are used, such as system analysis - to determine the patterns of the life cycle of innovations and their diffusion to identify the advantages and disadvantages of a transfer of high technology products for the national innovation system, factor analysis – toformalizethecause-and-effectrelationshipsoftheinvestigatedfactorsof the development of modern effective high-tech system. The following results were obtained: on the basis of the analysis of the impact of the long waves theory on the innovative development of society is proved the necessity of the fastest access of domestic enterprises to world network markets not only to develop the sales network, but also to search for innovative solutions and creative interactions. These practices are suitable for most countries, which have adopted the experience of world's innovative leaders and now are competitive players of the world market of high technologies. Conclusions: the urgency to create a strong national innovation system in Ukraine, considering the specificity of those elements that are now the basis of functioning of innovative systems.
