NPK is a type of fertilizer that plays a role in increasing growth and survival in plants such as seaweed. This study aims to determine the effect of different NPK fertilizer doses on the growth rate of seaweed (Caulerpa racemosa), and to determine which NPK fertilizer dosage has the best effect on the growth rate of C. racemosa. Research begins with collecting samples of seaweed in coastal waters. Ternate Island District Kastela, and the cultivation process is carried out on Jalan Jan, Tabona Village, South Ternate City. The time of the research was two months from August to October, 2020. This study used 12 units of cool box in the form of cork with a size of 90 x 30 cm, which is used as a container for maintaining of C. racemosa. In each treatment using a seed weight of 50 grams. The NPK fertilizer dosage treatment tested was 4 doses, with 3 replications, namely: treatment A: 40 ml NPK fertilizer; B: 60 ml NPK fertilizer; C: 80 ml NPK fertilizer; D: 0 ml NPK fertilizer (control). Research containers using random placement. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD), using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results obtained showed that NPK fertilizer with different doses the effect is not significantly different on the growth rate of C. racemosa with the highest average growth rate in treatment C amounting to 8.725%, followed by treatment B of 8.178%, treatment A of 7.761%, and the lowest was treatment D of 6.519%.Keywords:NPKSeaweedCaulerpa racemosaGrowth rate

Ikan koi di Indonesia merupakan ikan hias favorit dan banyak digemari masyarakat luas karena tubuhnya yang mempesona dan harganya relatif tidak terlalu mahal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh  ekstrak kasar Buah Pala Myristica argentea  terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan ikan Koi Cyprinus caprio. Hewan uji digunakan jenis ikan Mas Koi Cyprinus carpio berumur 2 bulan dengan ukuran 10 ± 3,6 cm.  Kepadatan ikan Mas yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah 1 ekor./L.  Wadah penelitian berupa toples transparan berukuran 5 L.  Penelitian didesain dengan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan masing – masing  tiga ulangan. Perlakuan yang diujikan adalah perbedaan dosis ekstrak Pala dalam pakan yang diberikan, yaitu perlakuan A (0 %),  perlakuan B (5 %), perlakuan C (10 %) dan perlakuan D (15 %).  Parameter uji berupa laju pertumbuhan dan sintasan ikan Mas Koi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian ekstrak buah Pala pada pakan ikan Mas Koi memberikan nilai yang baik dimana pada tingkat pertumbuhan dan sintasan menunjukkan nilai yang baik. Nilai ini menunjukkan respon ikan Mas Koi pada ekstrak kasar Pala dapat diterima. Koi fish in Indonesia is a favorite ornamental fish and much favored by the wider community because of its charming body and the price is relatively not too expensive. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the crude extract of Myristica argentea Nutmeg on the growth and survival of the Koi fish Cyprinus caprio. The test animals used the type of Mas Koi Cyprinus carpio aged 2 months with a size of 10 ± 3.6 cm. The density of goldfish used in this study was 1 fish./L. The research container was a transparent jar measuring 5 L. The study was designed in a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and three replications each. The treatments tested were the different doses of Nutmeg extract in the feed given, namely treatment A (0 %), treatment B (5 %), treatment C (10%) and treatment D (15 %). The test parameters were the growth rate and survival rate of Mas Koi fish. The results showed that the administration of Nutmeg fruit extract on Mas Koi fish feed gave a good value where the growth rate and survival showed good values. This value indicates that the response of the Koi carp to the crude extract of nutmeg is acceptable.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kinerja bakteri probiotik Bacillus spp. dan prebiotik molase dengan dosis berbeda terhadap tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan kinerja pertumbuhan ikan nila (Oreochromis niloticus). Penelitian ini menggunakan motede eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dan melibatkan 5 perlakuan, yaitu kontrol (K), Bacillus spp. 10 ml/kg pakan (A); Bacillus spp. 10 ml/Kg pakan + molase 10 v/v (B); Bacillus spp. 20 ml/Kg pakan (C); dan Bacillus spp. 20 ml/Kg pakan + molase 10 v/v(D). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan variasi untuk total bakteri, yaitu dari 2,24x108 hingga 3,78x108 CFU/ml. Demikian juga dengan total Bacillus spp. dari 1,07x106 hingga 2,02x107 CFU/ml. Adapun untuk pengamatan tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan laju pertumbuhan tidak menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan. Meski demikian, perlakuan D memiliki hasil yang relatif lebih baik dengan nilai SR dan LPH berturut-turut 96,67% dan 1,01 %/hari. Kata kunci : probiotik Bacillus spp., prebiotik molase,  total bakteri dan Bacillus spp., tingkat kelangsungan hidup, laju pertumbuhan harian  ABSTRACTThis study was aimed to determine the good combination of probiotic bacillus spp. and prebiotic molasses with different doses to survival rate and growth performance of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). this study has used experimental design with completely randomized design (CRD) and five treatment, i.e. Control (K), without probiotic and prebiotic; Bacillus spp. 10 ml/kg feed (A); Bacillus spp. 10 ml/Kg feed + molasses 10 v/v (B); Bacillus spp. 20 ml/Kg feed (C); dan Bacillus spp. 20 ml/Kg feed + molasses 10 v/v (D). The results showed variation for total bacteria and total Bacillus spp. The average of total bacteria obtained in this study ranged from 2,24x108 to 3.78x108 CFU/ml. Likewise, the total Bacillus spp. were obtained from 1.07x106 to 2.02x107 CFU/ml. While for survival rate (SR) and the growth rate (DGR) did not showed significant results. However, treatment D has a relatively better then treatment else with SR and DGR respectively 96.67% and 1.01%.day-1. Keywords : probiotic Bacillus spp., prebiotic molasses, total bacteria and Bacillus spp., survival rate, specific growth rate.

Vannamei shrimp is a fishery commodity that has important economic value for Indonesia. This is indicated by the increasing number and value of exports of this commodity. One of the efforts to encourage the production of vaname shrimp is through the use of probiotics. sanolife-MIC is a probiotic widely used in shrimp culture. The aim of the study was to analyze the feed profile and biological performance of Vaname PL 10 shrimp fed pellets with the Sanolife MIC-S probiotic capsule at different doses. The research method used is an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments (A: probiotic 0 gr/kg feed; B: probiotic 10 gr/kg feed; C: probiotic 12 gr/kg feed; D: probiotic 14 g/kg feed) and three replicates. What was tested in the study were probiotic profile tests, growth, feed efficiency and feed conversion. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA. The results showed that the feed profile that was encapsulated using sanolife MIC-S, the protein value, moisture content and ash content for the feed were shown by treatment B. The best fat content was treatment C. The best crude fiber content was treatment D. Weight growth rate, ratio The best feed conversion and feed efficiency was shown by treatment B, while the length growth and survival was indicated by treatment C.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of probiotic EM4 (Evective Microorganism-4) in feed to growth and gouramy ointment (Osprhronemus gouramy) at the Freshwater Fish Seed Development Center in Gorontalo Province. The method of this research is experimental method and data processing using completely Randomized Design with 4 treatments 3 replicates. The treatment is done with different doses which in treatment A (Without Probiotic), B ( probiotic 1 cc), C (probiotic 2 cc), D (probiotic 3 cc). The parameters observed were growth rate, Feed Conversion (KP). Feed Efficiency (EP), and Absolute Length (PM). The data were tested continued using the LSD test (Least Significance Different). The results showed that the effect of giving EM4 probiotic with different dose to the growth rate of gouramy fish (Osprhronemus gouramy) gave a very real effect, and from the four research results it was found that treatment D with 3 cc dose was the highest value, followed by C 2 treatment cc, treatment B with a dose of 1 cc and the lowest is in treatment A (Control). Keywords : Probiotic EM-4, gouramy (Osprhronemus gouramy), Growth.

ABSTRAK Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pergantian pakan. penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Susunan perlakuan adalah sebagai berikut : Perlakuan A : eguchi 10 hari dan infusoria 10 hari, Perlakuan B : infusoria 10 hari dan eguchi 10 hari, Perlakuan C : Eguchi 20 hari, Perlakuan D : Infusoria 20 hari dan Perlakuan E : campuran eguchi 50% dan Infusoria 50% selama 20 hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 20 hari untuk mengetahui laju pertumbuhan spesifik bobot, laju pertumbuhan mutlak panjang, kelangsungan hidup dan kualitas air sebagai data penunjang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pergantian pakan alami dengan pakan buatan menghasilkan respon yang baik dalam pertumbuhan larva ikan gurami. Pergantian pakan buatan (eguchi) dengan pakan alami (infusoria)(perlakuan A) memberikan hasil terbaik dengan rata – rata laju pertumbuhan spesifik bobot 5,3256%, rata – rata laju pertumbuhan mutlak panjang 5.70 mm dan rata – rata kelangsungan hidup 78.89%.  Kata Kunci : Infusoria, Eguchi, Larva Ikan Gurami, Laju Pertumbuhan ABSTRACT Research was aimed to determine the change of feed. research using completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments and 3 replications. The composition of the treatment is as follows: Treatment A: Eguchi 10 days and infusoria 10 days, Treatment B: infusoria 10 days and Eguchi 10 days, Treatment C: Eguchi 20 days, Treatment D: Infusoria 20 days and Treatment E: a mixture of Eguchi 50% and infusoria 50% for 20 days. This research was conducted for 20 days to determine the specific growth rate weight, the absolute growth rate of long survival and quality of water as supporting data. The results showed turnover natural feed with artificial feed to produce a good response in the growth of larval carp. Substitution of artificial feed (Eguchi) with natural food (infusoria) (treatment A) gives the best results with the average - average specific growth rate 5.3256% weighted, averageabsolute growth rate, average length of 5.70 mm and survival rate 78.89% . Keywords : Infusoria, Eguchi, Fish larvae Gurame, Growth Rate

<p><strong>Growth and Survival of Sandfish <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Holothuriascabra</span> Juveniles </strong><strong>Grown </strong><strong>with and without Seaweed <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Gracilaria</span> sp</strong><strong>.,</strong><strong> using Floating and Fixed Hapas in </strong><strong>Earthen </strong><strong>Pond</strong><strong>. </strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Holothuriascabra</span> known as sandfish have long been used for pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and food industries.Juveniles production is one of the ways to address the problem of raw material availability due to declining sandfish population in the wild. This research aimed to determine growth performance and survival of sandfish juveniles reared with and without seaweed <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Gracilaria</span> sp.  using floating and fixed hapas in earthen pond. The research was conducted from May to September 2014. A completely randomized design was used to arrange 12 hapas of four treatments groups with three replicates including floating hapas without <span style="text-decoration: underline;">G</span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">racilaria</span> sp. (ATR), floating hapas with <span style="text-decoration: underline;">G</span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">racilaria</span>sp. (ADR), fixed hapas without <span style="text-decoration: underline;">G</span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">racilaria</span> sp. (TTR) and fixed hapas with <span style="text-decoration: underline;">G</span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">racilaria</span> sp. (TDR). Some parameters was observed includingweight increment, Growth Rate (GR),Specific Growth Rate(SGR), Biomass, Survival, and Water Quality. The result showed that GR and SGR were not significantlydifferent among treatments (P&gt;0.05). Survial and Biomass showed significant difference among treatments (P &lt;0.05). ATR has the highest GR, SGR, survival, dan biomass whereas TDR has the lowest GR, SGR, survival, dan biomass. Water quality parameters were in optimal range for sandfish rearing. Added<span style="text-decoration: underline;">G</span><span style="text-decoration: underline;">racilaria</span> sp.tend to inhibitGR, SGR, survival, dan biomass.<strong></strong></p>

This study aims to determine the effect of different doses of booster grotop in feed on the growth and survival of Asian Redtail (Hemibagrus nemurus) maintained in peat swamp media. This research was conducted from 27 March - 05 May 2020 at the Laboratory of Aquaculture Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, University of Riau. The container used was an aquarium measuring 60 cm x 40 cm x 40 cm as many as 15 units with a stocking density of 12 fish/60 L. This study used a completely randomized design method (CRD) one factor with five levels of treatment and three repetitions. The level of treatment applied in the study was P0 = without giving Boster Grotop (Control), P1 = dose of Boster Grotop 25 g/kg of feed, P2 = dose of Boster Grotop 30 g/kg of feed. P3 = dose of Boster Grotop 35 g/kg of feed and P4 = dose of Boster Grotop 40 g/kg of feed. The results showed that giving boster grotop with different doses in the feed had a significant effect (P<0.05) on growth but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the survival rate of the Asian Redtail seeds. The best treatment was found at a boster grotop dose of 40 g/kg of feed, which produced protease enzyme activity (0.1731 IU/mL), total weight growth (5.11 g), total length growth (3.73 cm), specific growth rate (3.67%), feed efficiency (72.30%), feed conversion (1.38), survival rate (86.11%).

The main problems faced by fish farmers are waste, uneaten feed and feces.  Which can reduce water quality and have a significant impact on fish growth and survival. This study aims to determine the effect of giving various types of probiotics on the growth rate and viability of Mutiara catfish raised using the biofloc system. We used Lactobacillus sp., Bacillus subtilis, and Nitrobacter as probiotic bacteria. This study used a completely randomized design experimental method with 4 treatments and 3 replications, namely K = probiotic less/control, P1= Lactobacillus probiotic, P2= Bacillus subtilis probiotic, P3= Nitrobacter probiotic. Catfish are reared for 30 days, feeding 3 times a day with FR 5% of body biomass. The parameters observed were absolute length growth, survival, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) and Specific Growth Rate (SGR) which were analyzed using ANOVA (P <0.05) and Duncan's test to see the differences between treatments. The results showed that the bacteria probiotic treatment had no significant effect on FCR and fish survival, but had a Lactobacillus sp significant effect on growth in absolute length (3.96 ± 0.06 cm) and the growth rate of daily specific weight (5,45±0,18 %/day).  To increase the length and weight growth of catfish fry, probiotic bacteria of the type Lactobacillus sp. on cultivation media.Key words :biofloc, growth rate, lactobacillus, mutiara catfish, probiotics

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan kecepatan pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup tiga jenis ikan gurami (Trichogaster trichopterus, Pall) di rawa monoton, rawa pasang surut, dan rawa tadah hujan yang dipelihara di hapa Galam.Tiga jenis ikan gurami (Trichogaster trichopterus, Pall) mampu hidup dan beradaptasi di lingkungan budidaya, dan dapat diberi makan dengan pakan buatan seperti ikan budaya. Variasi jenis ikan tidak  signifikan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan rawa dan kelangsungan hidup ikan yang dipelihara di lingkungan budidaya rawa. Tingkat pertumbuhan berat rata-rata relatif terbaik adalah perlakuan C (ikan  gurami rawa tadah hujan) sebesar 29.36%. Tingkat pertumbuhan pangjang rata-rata relatif terbaik adalah perlakuan B (Ikan gurami padang rumput rawa) sebesar 9,35%. Konversi pakan terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan C (ikan gurami dari tadah hujan) sebesar 6.80. Tingkat keangsungan hidup terbaik terdapat pada perlakuan B, C, D yaitu sebesar 75.56%.The purpose of this study was to determine the speed of growth and survival of several varieties of three spot goramy (Trichogaster trichopterus Pall) from the monotonous marshes, tidal marshes, bogs and swamps rainfed fields that are kept in hapa Galam.Three spot goramy (Trichogaster trichopterus Pall) are able to live and adapt in the cultivation environment, and can be fed with artificial feed like most culture fish. Variations in the type of fishes did not significantly affect marsh growth and survival of fish that are kept in swamp ride cultivation environment. The mean relative growth rate of weight it is best to treatment C (fish from the marsh three spot goramy rainfed) of 29.36%. Average growth rate is relatively long it is best to treatment B (three spot goramy of marsh meadow Galam) for 9.35 %. Conversion is best to feed on the C treatment (fish from the marsh three spot goramy rainfed) of 6.80. the best survival was in treatment B, C, D of 75.56%.

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu air yang memberikan hasil terbaik bagi laju pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih lobster air tawar, red claw. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas empat perlakuan, yaitu pada suhu air 26°C, 28°C, 30°C, dan 32°C; masing-masing perlakuan tiga ulangan. Parameter yang diamati adalah laju pertumbuhan harian dan sintasan benih lobster red claw. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laju pertumbuhan harian dan sintasan benih lobster tertinggi terdapat pada suhu 28°C, yaitu sebesar 1,15% dan 85,93%. Laju pertumbuhan harian dan sintasan benih lobster mencapai optimum pada suhu 28°C, yaitu sebesar 1,05% dan 85,93%.The aim this research was to find out the effect of water temperature to the growth and survival rate of red claw crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) juvenile. The experiment design used completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments of water temperature i.e. 26°C, 28°C, 30°C, 32°C and each of the treatments was replicated three times. Parameters observed are daily growth rate and survival rate of red claw crayfish juvenile. The result showed that temperatures were effected to growth rate and survival rate of red claw crayfish juvenile which expressed through quadratic response curve. The highest daily growth rate and survival rate of red claw crayfish fry was found on temperature 28°C C i.e. 1.15% and 85.93%. The optimum growth rate and survival rate was found on temperature 28°C i.e. 1.05% and 85.93%.
