This study aims at investigating the perceptions of educational partners towards managing and implementing inclusive education, ensuring whether special need students can be wholly admitted and facilitated, and probing on the integration and management of students with physical, moral, and mental problems. The strategy used is centered on a case study with qualitative approach. The researchers applied a semi-structured interview and analyzed the data using content analysis with descriptive-interpretation-pattern coding model. For choosing the participants, quota sampling technique was applied whereby four participants were chosen from every school to represent the sections. The population is made up of all students, teachers, staff, and parents from SMA Yogyakarta, SMA Wates, and SMK Imogiri. Based on the interviews, all the subjects confirmed that inclusive education in the respective schools is critical. Besides, the perceptions of all subjects towards management and implementation of inclusive education does not prove its satisfactory level.[Penelitian bertujuan melihat persepsi orang tua, siswa, guru, dan staf terhadap pengelolaan dan penerapan pendidikan inklusif, memastikan apakah siswa berkebutuhan khusus dapat diterima dan difasilitasi oleh sekolah, dan meyakinkan cara untuk mengintegrasikan dan mengelola siswa dengan masalah fisik, moral, dan mental. Penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan wawancara semi-struktural dan menganalisis data dengan analisis konten. Untuk memilih peserta, teknik kuota sampling diterapkan di mana empat peserta dipilih dari setiap sekolah untuk mewakili yang lain. Populasi terdiri dari semua siswa, guru, staf, dan orang tua dari SMA Yogyakarta, SMA Wates, dan SMK Imogiri. Berdasarkan wawancara, semua subjek menegaskan bahwa pendidikan inklusif di sekolah masing-masing masih belum mapan. Selain itu, persepsi semua yang diwawancarai terhadap manajemen dan pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusif tidak benar-benar mengkonfirmasi tingkat pendidikan inklusif yang memuaskan.]

Single father is a group that is less concerned by society including agencies and NGOs that focusing on community welfare rather than single mothers. This is because most people think that this group has a high physical and mental strength as the single father is a male. However, it is undeniable that these single fathers are also experiencing serious pressure because they have lost their support or spirit of life. Previous study are more focused on single mothers that earn social support from various agencies. Meanwhile, there is a lack of research on the social support of single fathers. The main objective of this study is to explore the pressure and social support among the single fathers. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach based on case study. The technique of collecting data through a structured interview. Seven informants were selected for this study using purposive sampling technique. The location of the study chosen is in the district of Kuala Selangor, Selangor. Structured interview data was analyzed in a thematic manner and the results of the study found that there were three main factors affected stress on single fathers namely emotion, household management and work were found through informants’ transcript of study. Meanwhile, social support required by single fathers are finance, moral support and a place to have a chit-chat. The implication of this study is expected to suggest an appropriate intervention and advocacy programs to social workers in handling single fathers’ cases in communities and institutions.

This study explains about PKH recipients’ strategy to accept the assistance and not to be graduated. This study used the qualitative approach using descriptive type. Informants are chosen based on purposive sampling technique while data collection applies observation technique and in-depth interview (loosely structured interview). It uses Structuration theory proposed by Anthony Giddens which focuses on duality relation between agent and structure.

The aim of this study was to analyze the meanings and experiences of early contact and breastfeeding of the postpartum women admitted at a Baby-Friendly Hospital. It is a descriptive, exploratory study, with qualitative approach, that was developed in a teaching hospital in the Northwest of Paraná state between November 2011 and January 2012, involving the participation of 16 postpartum women. Data were collected by means of non-participant systematic observation of the childbirths and semi-structured interview. The data collected were analyzed using the thematic content analysis. The results revealed that, soon after childbirth, the child-mother binomial provided the woman with a unique experience, triggering various sensations into the bio-psycho-social-cultural context of each one of the mothers, with feelings and meanings that favored the mother-child bond and the outset of breastfeeding.

The study examined radio family planning messages with particular reference to the nature of the audience influence on communication content by using a chat program on radio in a developing society. The study adopted content analysis research method with a purposive sampling technique and used a radio script having six items for analyses. Results showed that there were more family planning segments for women than for men and, there were more family planning for drugs/pills and materials/implantation than for injection. In addition, there were side effects in the use of family planning just as there were quite a number of frequently asked questions except for condoms-fiesta/kiss. This paper concludes that radio scripts/messages for family planning programs should accommodate more topics/segments of family planning for men and women, specifically, natural methods should be included. Furthermore, radio family planning messages should focus more on the benefits of family planning and specifically the benefits of contraceptive pill and post pill emergency should be examined. Other formats of programs should be employed in the campaign for family planning messages on radio, and development communicators and content developers of radio family planning scripts should explore more areas to make radio messages more robust.

The world is facing gender related problems in which women’s are discriminated against in almost all walks of life. The present research is focusing on the issues of women. i.e, exchange marriages, women property rights and their maintenance after divorce in South Punjab. The objective of this study is to unveil the structural constraints in the society which have hamperedthe freedom and the autonomy of women. These constraints are operational in the domain of legal-judicial and administration-policing social system of the state that has made the access of women difficult to get the redress and relief against the violation of their rights. In this research, an interpretative mode of research is being used to unfold the relationship of different variables. Some of the variables have their connections on the bases of their influence on the nature of the women’s right in the social setup of South Punjab. Among these variables, independent ones are customary practices prevailing religious doctrines and the sources of materials means. The particular nature of the study and scientific approach of the research, it seemed appropriate to apply quota sampling technique for the selection of court cases. The especially court cases has been segregated to project women image of this region. In this study categories of the cases on the basis of different variables collected from targeted three districts as judgments pronounced and established under family and session court under districts Multan, Muzaffargarh and Dera Ghazi Khan during the period from (2007 to 2014).This study includes ten cases, all related to the rights of women and customary practises. This study had also tried to show the how far judicial decisions were in favor of women to make them capable to empower in the emerging challenges of the time. The study in its analysis tried to show the effectiveness of prevailing family laws to enhance status of women.

Objetivo: conhecer a percepção dos enfermeiros sobre marketing pessoal e verificar como o utilizam em seu cotidiano de trabalho. Metodologia: estudo exploratório, descritivo, de abordagem qualitativa, que utilizou entrevistas semiestruturadas com 16 enfermeiros, submetidas à Análise de Conteúdo. Resultados: emergiram três categorias: Percepção sobre marketing profissional, Imagem pessoal e Projeção do ambiente organizacional. Várias estratégias foram utilizadas para potencializar o marketing pessoal, como imagem, aparência e postura ética, as quais contribuíram para a visibilidade da profissão. Conclusões: os profissionais reconheceram a importância de investir na própria imagem, como forma de valorizar a si mesmo e a profissão.Descritores: Marketing, Autoimagem, Papel Profissional, Enfermagem.PERSONAL MARKETING AND NURSING: PROJECTION FOR THE NURSE SOCIAL VISIBILITYObjective: to know the perception of nurses about personal marketing and verify how they use it in their daily work.   The objective was to know the perception of the caregiver about the learning needs of care to be performed at home. This is an exploratory descriptive research, with a qualitative approach. Data collection occurred through a semi-structured interview, from August to October 2014, with six caregivers of patients hospitalized in a medium-sized hospital in the municipality of Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul State. The data were analyzed by the content analysis method, identifying two categories: The caregiver's perception about the learning needs; The attendance of the caregiver's learning needs. The study showed that the learning based on empirical, instinctive and observational methodologies, without the participation of the nurse in the process. There is need to improve this learning. The participation of the nurse as an educator in the planning, organization and development of the educational action stands out, since he/she is part of the care; however, the caregivers did not visualize this professional.

This study aimed to investigate the attitude of the teacher’s towards inclusive education as the attitude of teachers or executors has a significant impact on the successful implementation of inclusive education. The population of the study comprised all pre-service and in-service teachers of the Gaya district of Bihar. Out of this population, a sample of 108 pre-service & in-service teachers (associated with primary and secondary school) were selected through quota sampling technique from 11 institutions (belonging to the government and private management system). We wish to discover teachers’ attitudes towards inclusive education among their different demographic variables i.e. Mode of service, Gender, Locality. An attitude of teachers towards Inclusive Education questionnaire, was used for data collection. Collected data were statistically analyzed by using Frequency counts, Mean, Standard Deviation (SD), Standard Error of Mean and ` t ` test. Among the total participants n= 108, 48.14% were pre-service teachers & 53.33% were in-service teachers, 50% teachers associated with the urban area & other 50% teachers living in rural areas, 48.14% were female & 53.33% were male. The result shows that attitude of teachers towards inclusive education was moderate to a favorable level. Pre-service and urban teachers had a more positive/favorable attitude towards inclusive education than the attitude of In-service and rural teachers, respectively. In contrast, there was no significant difference between the attitude of male and female teachers towards inclusive education.

The rationale behind this study is how students with disabilities’ perception towards the inclusive education and inclusive teaching practices. As a qualitative single case study, two participants (student with hearing loss and visual impairment) were involved to give their depth explanation about inclusive practices in one secondary inclusive school in Yogyakarta. These participants were recruited by purposive technique sampling. Data were gathered by open-ended interview, documents’ analysis, and direct observation for building and learning media. Data then were analyzed using content-analysis technique. The results show students with disabilities have a positive perception towards the inclusive practices in their school. They claimed, this practice would be valuable if: the school provides learning materials in different modalities and teachers offers multiple ways in teaching. Furthermore, system support and shaping the inclusive culture is necessary to realize the inclusive education and teaching practices.[Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengungkap persepsi siswa difabel mengenai praktik pendidikan dan pembelajaran inklusif di salah satu SMA Inklusi di Yogyakarta. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan mengambil satu studi kasus yang melibatkan dua orang siswa difabel (Tuli dan tuna netra) sebagai responden melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diungkap dengan wawancara semi terbuka, analisis dokumen dan observasi terhadap bangunan fisik dan media pembelajaran. Data kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik content-analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa memiliki persepsi yang cukup baik terhadap pelaksanaan pendidikan dan pembelajaran inklusif. Menurut siswa, praktik pembelajaran inklusif akan lebih bermakna jika aksesibilitas terhadap materi-materi pelajaran semakin dipermudah dengan menyediakan berbagai macam sumber belajar yang bervariasi, termasuk cara guru dalam menyampaikan pelajaran perlu menggunakan berbagai metode. Selain itu, dukungan sistem dan penciptaan budaya inklusif juga harus selalu dipupuk agar warga sekolah mampu mewujudkan praktik pendidikan dan pembelajaran inklusif yang seharusnya.]

RESUMOEste trabalho apresenta um recorte de uma discussão sobre contextualização a partir da pesquisa intitulada: “Currículo contextualizado: trilhando caminhos para a valorização da identidade campesina”, cujo objetivo foi analisar como o processo de contextualização curricular contribui para a valorização da realidade do campo. A abordagem metodológica utilizada foi qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso; como instrumento de coleta de dados, utilizou-se a entrevista semiestruturada realizada com nove profissionais da educação do campo de uma instituição escolar da zona rural, localizada no município de Bananeiras/PB. Os dados foram analisados por meio da Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin (2011); foram organizadas quatro categorias: currículo, contextualização, identidade e educação do campo. Apresenta-se aqui a categoria Contextualização, enfatizando como o contexto campesino pode contribuir para que o ensino seja significativo. Constatou-se que a contextualização reforça a valorização da identidade campesina, da escola e do local em que a mesma está inserida.Contextualização. Currículo. The methodological approach used was a qualitative case study, as a data collection instrument was used the semi-structured interview conducted with nine field education professionals from a rural school institution located in Bananeiras/PB. Data were analyzed using Bardin's Content Analysis (2011), four categories were organized: curriculum, contextualization, identity and field education. The category Contextualization is presented here, emphasizing how the peasant context can contribute to meaningful teaching.
