Communication media as a means to convey information is traditional and modern. The rapid development of communication technology in modern media by some communication experts is allegedly able to change the traditional form of communication found in Indonesia. The author is interested to know the benefits of the implementation of the Gorontalo tribal tradition as a traditional communication media play a role in development in the village of Titidu? By using the method of observation and in-depth interviews with 34 sources obtained from purposive sampling techniques. This study was also complemented by a literature review to deepen data and data processing using descriptive qualitative analysis. The findings show the existence of traditional media that still survive in the village of Titidu aims to preserve the traditions of the Gorontalo tribal people who place the tradition based on syara 'and syara' based on the book of God as a way of life, so that the culture of Gorontalo people highly values traditions especially those with Islamic nuances. The tradition is related to customs in the form of wedding ceremonies, coronation and reception of officials, funerals, hair cutting and weighting. Art in the form of remembrance (obeyed), burdah (buruda), funds and zamrah. Dance movements or sports such as langga, longgo, and literature in the form of prose and poetry. By implementing interpersonal, group, free and social communication to socialize regional development in the fields of innovation (health, education, national defense, arts, development), government policy, program accountability in the village head's remarks.Media komunikasi sebagai sarana untuk menyampaikan informasi bersifat tradisional dan modern. Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi komunikasi pada media modern oleh beberapa pakar komunikasi disinyalir dapat merubah bentuk komunikasi tradisional yang terdapat di Indonesia. Penulis tertarik untuk mengetahui manfaat pelaksanaan tradisi suku Gorontalo sebagai media komunikasi tradisional berperan dalam pembangunan di Desa Titidu.  Dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 34 narasumber yang di dapat dari teknik sampling purposive. Penelitian ini juga dilengkapi dengan kajian pustaka untuk memperdalam data serta pengolahan data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Temuan menunjukkan keberadaan media tradisional yang masih bertahan di Desa Titidu bertujuan untuk melestarikan tradisi masyarakat suku Gorontalo yang menempatkan adat bersendikan syara’ dan syara’ bersendikan kitab Allah sebagai pandangan hidup, sehingga secara kultural masyarakat Gorontalo sangat menghargai tradisi-tradisi terutama yang bernuansa Islami. Tradisi tersebut berhubungan dengan adat istiadat berupa upacara pernikahan, penobatan dan penyambutan pejabat, pemakaman, pengguntingan rambut serta pembeatan. Kesenian berupa dzikir (diikili), burdah (buruda), dana-dana dan zamrah. Gerak atau olahraga tarian seperti langga, longgo, dan sastra berupa prosa maupun puisi. Dengan menerapkan komunikasi antar pribadi, kelompok, bebas dan sosial untuk mensosialisasikan pembanguan daerah pada bidang inovasi (kesehatan, pendidikan, bela negara, kesenian, pembangunan), kebijakan pemerintah, pertanggungjawaban program dalam sambutan kepala desa.

The purpose of this study is to see the level of marketing effectiveness carried out by Bank BNI Syariah using social media Instagram. The rapid development of Instagram in Indonesia has made Bank Negara Indonesia Syariah actively use this social media as a forum for promotion on Instagram under the account name @ bni.syariah. So it is recorded that as of January 2019 the @ bni.syariah account has the most followers or followers of 37.8 thousand. Then followed by the account @banksyariahmandiri 36.4 thousand followers, @brisyariah 32.5 thousand followers, @ bank.muamalat 25.7 thousands followers, @bankbjbsyariah 8,095 followers, @bankmegasyariah 5,619 followers, @hababankaceh 5,399 followers, @bank_syariahbukopin 2,736 followers, and @ panindubaisyariah.bank 263 followers. Instagram is effectively used as a marketing medium for Islamic banks, especially for BNI Syariah, which is effectively used as a media for promotion and communication media with BNI Syariah customers. With the existence of Instagram as a marketing medium for Islamic banks, in this case BNI Syariah is very helpful in introducing Islamic bank products and helping to increase BNI Syariah revenue itself. Although, currently Instagram social media is only used as a promotional media or the first media for BNI Syariah to introduce Islamic banking products and is also used as a medium of communication with active BNI Syariah customers. So that any complaints or problems, especially related to service, customers can immediately submit complaints to BNI Syariah via Instagram, and problems can be resolved according to the customer's needs.

The ideology of state-ibuism has always been interwoven with how the New Order regime until nowadays government constructing the “ideal” role of women in the family and community through the PKK (Pembinaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) organization. However, in Cangkring Village, Indramayu, the ideology of ibuism works not because of the massive government regulating the role of women through the PKK organization, but it is possible because of the structure of the kampung community itself. Through involved observations and in-depth interviews about a kindergarten in the village, a group of housewives who dedicated themselves to teaching in kindergarten were met without getting paid high. From these socio-cultural phenomenons, this paper will describe descriptively and analytically that housewives in the Cangkring village are willing to become kindergarten teachers because of their moral burden as part of the warga kampung and also from community pressure from people who want their children to be able to read and write.

The concepts of identity and recovery capital are recognized as being an embedded part of moving away from a life dominated by drug use. However, the link between these two concepts and the effect of broader social structures, and the normative assumptions underpinning the condition of recovery, is less explored. This article focuses on the social practices of everyday life in the foreground of identity formation, meaning that “who I am” is an inseparable part of “what I do.” A narrative approach was employed to analyze qualitative follow-up data extracted from 48 in-depth interviews with 17 males and females with drug-using experience that were conducted posttreatment on three separate occasions over a period of 2.5 years. Theories of identity formation were employed to analyze the interdependent dynamic between social structure, persona and social resources, and way of life and identity. The analyses identified four narratives related to how people present themselves through the process of changing practices. Following the work of Honneth, we argue that the positive identity formation revealed in these narratives is best understood as a struggle for recognition via the principle of achievement. However, the participants’ self-narratives reflected cultural stories—specified as formula stories—of “normality,” “addiction,” and the “addict,” which work into the concepts of self and confine options of storying experiences during the recovery process. This study demonstrate that the process of recovery is culturally embedded and constitutes a process of adaption to conventional social positions and roles. We suggest challenging dominant discourses related to “addiction as a disease” and “normality” in order to prevent stigma related to drug use and recovery. In so doing, it may contribute to broaden conditions for identity (trans)formation for people in recovery.

Endowed with stunning natural beauty, Sleman has become a destination increasingly flooded by tourists from year to year. The rapid development of tourism does have a positive impact, especially on the economic side, but on the other hand, it can have a negative impact if the management does not prioritize the principles of sustainable tourism. The type of tourism that can be affected is tourism that relies on nature as its main attraction, Cliff of Breksi is one of them. Cliff of Breksi has experienced rapid development in terms of the number of tourist visits, but it has never been examined whether its management is following the principle of sustainability. The objectives of this research are: a) to identify the management of the environmental aspects of Cliff of Breksi, whether it is following the indicators of sustainable tourism from The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and b) determine what things need to be improved so that management can be more optimal. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. Research data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations. The results of the study indicate that the manager has so far had awareness and understanding in applying the principles of sustainable tourism as in the indicators of UNWTO sustainable tourism. Traditional culture underlying a wide range of behavior and deeds of a society and gave birth to a variety of oral literature as well as myth. The myth that developed and still surviving in public life of Java among other myths related to pregnant and nursing mothers. This research is under a descriptively qualitative method supported by field research method along with un-depth interviews in Dawuhan village of Banyumas which is the village where the ancestors of Banyumas was buried. Through field observation and research method of interview to the trusted resource in Dawuhan village was obtained by results of research regarding the myth of pregnant and nursing mothers. This research finds some kinds of myths in relation to recommending and prohibition to perform an action that may harm the fetus, while the myth of breastfeeding mothers mostly prohibition and advice about foods that are consumed by the mother breastfeeding can harm the health of the baby.

Bungo Village, Subdistrict of Wedung Indonesia, is one of the regions that still upholds the traditions of the region as a form of preserving culture. Along with the development of technology and science, there are many traditions in the village that are considered not modernist by the people. Therefore, some village government and community heads in the village of Bungo, Wedung District, are trying to maintain traditions in their area as a form of preserving local traditions or culture and when developed can have potential for regional income. Coastal traditions in the Bungo Village area that are still carried out include Apitan, Syawalan, and Alms of Earth, the meaning of this tradition as a form of community gratitude to God. There is a Nyadran tradition, the Panji Kusuma Cultural Kirab is a tradition carried out as a form of respect for coastal communities and in memory of the services of heroes who have established villages in the coastal region. There is also the tradition of Keong Keli, Barian, Kembang Sayang, which basically implies a form of community effort to avoid doom and danger. This research was conducted using ethnographic methods, data collection using in-depth interviews and observation. From the coastal traditions carried out by the Bungo people, it is shown that coastal communities depend on the sea for their livelihoods and the wealth of natural resources to survive.

Media convergence and the incorporation of new narratives typical of the consumption habits of younger audiences in the social media environment have led to the proliferation of a wide variety of formats and types of content in the media ecosystem through which the editorial content offered to brands is being distributed. This qualitative research, using in-depth interviews with a qualified sample of branded content managers from the main Spanish media, allows us to determine the main characteristics of the native advertising demanded by advertisers. The results corroborate observations that content channelled through more sophisticated consumption experiences, using both multimedia and interactivity with a clear transmedia approach, tends to be better received by the audience and, therefore, in greater demand by brands. It also confirms that both video and social media formats have grown exponentially when it comes to providing an outlet for branded content. Based on the results obtained, a proposed classification of these products, including definitions, has been drawn up so they can be publicised to the professional world, offering the reflection and precision that their rapid development has not allowed until now.

The purpose of this study was to find out how to optimize the management of productive zakat funds LAZ Nurul Hayat Surabaya in the goat livestock sector to achieve their desired goals. As well as the material and non-material impacts felt by mustahiq farmers from the optimization. This study uses qualitative methods with a descriptive case study strategy. The object of this research is LAZ Nurul Hayat Surabaya. By conducting in-depth interviews with 5 respondents consisting of program directors, program managers, PIC programs, and 2 assisted farmers. After interviewing the results of the study were analyzed using data triangulation to obtain conclusions. The results of this study indicate that LAZ Nurul Hayat has been optimal in managing productive zakat in the goat breeding sector. This is because LAZ Nurul Hayat in carrying out the Village Empowerment Livestock program applies three important stages, Mustahiq Screening, Production Process, and Market Potential. From this stage it can have a positive impact on mustahiq from additional income, amount of mustahiq, knowledge, to the desire to be independent.Keywords: Optimization, Management, Zakat Productive

<p><em>This study aims to determine the meanings contained in the sequence of the ceremonial procession in the village of Sea Alms Tanjungan as an annual tradition organized by the local community. Theory basis used is the symbol by Susanne Langer's theory which states that a symbol or set of symbols works by connecting a concept, the general idea, pattern, or shape. Symbols are human conceptualization of a thing, there is a symbol for something. Research methods in use is descriptive qualitative, by describing the results that have been obtained from observation and depth interviews with informants. Results in the can that is symbolic ceremonies Sea Alms is a form of implementation of gratitude local community to God Almighty for the gift that has been given, as well as their respect to guard the sea are believed during this important role for the safety of the villagers Tanjungan. This research linkages with communication studies is that people can establish a value of life by applying them in the form of symbols that can be agreed upon by the perpetrators so as to form a culture.</em></p>
