This research aims to develop denotative and connotative meanings in sayyid El-Rais' videos, as well as reveal myths based on Barthes's perspective. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data collection technique used observation and taking notes technique. Researchers used descriptive analysis techniques based on the Miles and Huberman model are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that reading of first level in semiotics perspective produced several codes that referred to text structure including; symbolic, semantic, and hermeneutic. Denotatively, the speech in video reflect outpouring of a Palestinian child about incidents that happened to him, called deprived homeland. The second level reading that refers to code development resulted in a myth of religious tolerance. In connotative meaning, there are portraits of religious intolerance that are carried in these stories. This speech presents as religious intolerance representation felt by the Palestinian people so that the author's message that can be taken through this portraits is able to increase awareness of religious tolerance and empathy for others as humanity form

This endeed of  research is to describe the place of the kolintang music ensemble to accompany the singin of the flag ceremony at SMP Sw. St. Paulus Sidikalang. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subject of this research is flag ceremony. The research focussed on the role of Kolintang music ensemble as song chanting. The data of the final research was obtained from the observations of the flag-raising activities, interview with teachers, student adan kolintang’s players in junior high school and take a documentation. Data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Data validity is obtained through data triangulation, observer triangulation, theory triangulation and method triangulation. The purpose of this research is to know and descriebing  kolintang music. Example, in this research is by using numbered data such as document, archieves, interview results, observation result or also by interviewing more thn one subject that is consideret to have a different point of view.The result showed that : (1) In accompaniying singing at the flag-ceremony, students used the basic notes G, C and F. (2) the tecnic to performed kolintang    were not wheeled with a kolintang played general. (3). After carrying out their duties as chanting accompaniment in the ceremony, students who performed kolintang first practice on kolintang extracurricular activities. (4) in the process of playing kolintang, each player must have a strong feeling so that the technic kolintang is harmonious. Keywords : Descriptive Study, Ensemble, Kolintang music

The study was intended to analyze the casual language variations in the iloquestionnaire's speechs on the public discussion activities. This study uses sociolinguistics concepts from John R Searle’s theory to analyze the problems of casual language variations and any form of iloquestionnaire's speechs. This study is a qualitative descriptive research. The data collection technique that used is purposive sampling method, which in taking samples is concerned with the purpose and problems of research. Data obtained by using transcription videos of “diskusi publik kedaulatan dan kebudayaan bersama cak Nun”. This study uses data analysis techniques in the form of content analysis. The data analysis techniques are as follows: 1) looking back over the data already collected, 2) classifying the data according to the question of variations in casual language and iloquestionnaire's speech, 3) interpreting the data with a sociolinguistic approach and John R Searle's theory, and 4) concluding the findings. Studies showed that discussion activities use a variety of casual language with characteristic Javanese, Alegro forms, elliptic sentences, and a mixture of the foreign language code, English and Arabic, and Normative. This study aims to determine: (1) the socialization strategy, (2) the supporting factors of the socialization strategy, and (3) the inhibiting factors of the socialization strategy. To find out the problems that occur, the researcher uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data was collected using library techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation for data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. The study results indicate that: (1) The selection of a good and correct strategy in conducting socialization is the task of the Aceh Privileges and People's Welfare section. The socialization strategy plays a role in realizing the implementation of the death benefit assistance program, which in essence, the community can know and understand death compensation. after that, determine the target in the socialization, then choose the media to be used and the management of socialization. (2) This program supports several parties such as payment partners and the infrastructure used to support this activity. (3) There are obstacles in managing death compensation, namely in terms of education, economy, and social, which causes the majority of the public not to know information about death compensation assistance.

Diversity is already common place in Indonesia as a country that is nicknamed as the Emerald diversity. Indonesian state menghiasai diversity is seen as something that is very unique, but foreigners do not know that it is actually in it churned a result of lack of tolerance. SMK Nurul Ulum is a school that is not wished for it to happen. Therefore, this school creates an attitude of tolerance among human beings, which is based on the teachings of Islam, Christianity, Hindu-Buddhist and cultural values Pendhalungan. The method used in this article is using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and observation. Descriptive analysis is done by reviewing a wide range of journals, books, articles and other sources that support. While the observation conducted at SMK Nurul Ulum Jember namely by conducting in-depth interviews to the relevant school. The results showed that with the use of the teachings of tolerance of various religious and cultural values Pendhalungan and use a good strategy, tolerance can be built effectively in this school.

This study aims to reveal the similarities and differences in Pendhoza's Demi Kowe song lyrics with the song lyrics Merantau by Abah Lala. This research is included in the type of qualitative descriptive research with a comparative literary approach. The data collection technique used is the technique of reading and recording. The researcher reads the two song lyrics and records the similarities and differences between the two song lyrics. Data analysis techniques use interactive techniques that include data reduction processes, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the two songs had similarities and differences. The similarity between the two songs lies in the character values, please help, discipline, responsibility, and independence. The difference between the two songs can be seen in terms of the story that Demi Kowe's song lyrics tell more about the return of a man after going overseas to keep his promises. In Demi Kowe's song lyrics, religious values were also found that were not found in Merantau's song lyrics. In the song lyrics of Merantau the difference lies in the content of the story that tells about the struggle of a husband who lives in the land of rantau. In addition, in the song lyrics Merantau also tells about the suspicions and emotions of a husband towards the wife who was left at home.

Abstrak: Toleransi merupakan modal utama dalam membangun harmoni antarumat beragama, terutama di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan karakter toleransi beragama dalam kehidupan masyarakat Cigugur yang pluralis. Penelitian di lakukan di Desa Cisantana dan Desa Cigugur, Kecamatan Cigugur, Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Cigugur yang memiliki keberagaman dalam memeluk agama dapat hidup berdampingan secara damai. Adapun faktor pemersatu masyarakat Cigugur yaitu adanya saling menghargai karena memiliki ikatan darah yang kuat. Selain itu, pemimpin masing-masing agama dan aliran kepercayaan sangat berperan dalam terbentuknya toleransi beragama. Hari Raya Idul Fitri, Upacara Seren Taun, dan Perayaan Natal adalah saat-saat mereka bekerja sama tanpa mengganggu kegiatan beribadah. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut merupakan pembelajaran bagi para remaja dan anak-anak karena mereka adalah generasi penerus yang harus mempertahankan toleransi beragama di daerah di mana mereka dilahirkan.Kata Kunci: karakter, toleransi beragama, dan masyarakat pluralisAPPLICATION OF CHARACTER OF RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE IN PLURALIST COMMUNITIY OF CIGUGUR KUNINGAN Abstract: Tolerance is the main capital in building harmony among religious believers, especially in Indonesia. This research was conducted to find out how the application of the character of religious tolerance in the life of the pluralist Cigugur community. The research was conducted in the villages of Cisantana and Cigugur, Cigugur Subdistrict, Kuningan District, West Java. Data collection in this study uses observation and interview techniques. Data analysis was performed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study show that the Cigugur people who have diversity in embracing religion can coexist peacefully. The unifying factor of the Cigugur community is mutual respect because it has strong blood ties. In addition, the leaders of each religion and the flow of beliefs play an important role in the formation of religious tolerance. Eid al-Fitr, Seren Taun Ceremony, and Christmas Celebration are times when they work together without interfering with worship activities. These activities are learning for young people and children because they are the next generation who must maintain religious tolerance in the area where they are born.Keywords: character, religious tolerance, pluralist society

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap kualitas media pembelajaran interaktif pada pembelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut. (2) Mengetahui keefektifan media pembelajaran interaktif pada pembelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut pada siswa program keahlian Teknik Pemesinan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Data tentang kualitas produk pengembangan ini dikumpulkan dengan angket dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualiatatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) uji ahli materi pelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Bubut berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (88,92%), (2) uji ahli desain pembelajaran berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (85,21%), (3) uji ahli rekayasa perangkat lunak berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (84,03%), (4) uji coba perorangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (88,75%), (5) uji coba kelompok kecil berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (91,35%) dan (5) uji coba lapangan berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik (88,31%). Hasil pengujian hipotesis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif  dengan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan buku teks. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh  thitung sebesar 4,68 dan ttabel sebesar 1,67 pada taraf kepercayaan 95 persen. Maka diperoleh bahwa thitung> ttabel. Disimpulkan bahwa  hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif dengan efektifitas sebesar 72,77 %. lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran menggunakan buku teks dengan efektifitas sebesar 62,13%. Kata Kunci: media pembelajaran interaktif, teknik pemesinan bubut Abstract: This study aims to: (1) Determine student responses to the quality of interactive learning media on learning Lathe Machining Techniques. (2) Knowing the effectiveness of interactive learning media on learning of Machining Lathe in students of Machining Engineering expertise program. This type of research is development research. Data about the quality of this development product was collected by a questionnaire and analyzed by qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that; (1) Lathe machining engineering subject matter expert test is in very good qualification (88.92%), (2) learning design expert test is in very good qualification (85.21%), (3) software engineering expert test is in in very good qualifications (84.03%), (4) individual trials were in very good qualifications (88.75%), (5) small group trials were in very good qualifications (91.35%) and (5 ) field trials are in very good qualifications (88.31%). Hypothesis testing results prove that there are differences between student learning outcomes using interactive learning media with student learning outcomes using textbooks. This is indicated by the results of data processing obtained by tcount of 4.68 and ttable of 1.67 at a confidence level of 95 percent. Then it is obtained that tcount> ttable. It was concluded that student learning outcomes using interactive learning media with an effectiveness of 72.77%. higher than student learning outcomes taught by learning to use textbooks with an effectiveness of 62.13%. Keywords: interactive learning media, lathe machining techniques

The pronunciation of inappropriate words to exemplify, thus rendering the child devoid of good manners and word-tours, and often against parenthood, is because her parents are unspoiled when she speaks disrespectful and also against parental sayings becomes a phenomenon often encountered in society particularly in coastal communities. A speech can also lead to a description of the principles of conversation. This also happened in Las Day Production's video “Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid”. This research aims to find out and describe the female characters’ utterances or the implicit forms of the in the video "Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid" by Last Day Production. The approach in this research uses pragmatic and qualitative descriptive. The data collection technique in this study was using the note-taking technique. The data analysis techniques used in this study were data triangulation, theory triangulation, and source triangulation. Triangulation of data was generated by recording the speech of a female character in the video "Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid" by Last Day Production. The theory triangulation refers to pragmatic theory, while the source triangulation is the video "Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid" by Last Day Production, which is downloaded on YouTube. The research results in the video "Cara Kodein Cowok Biar Cepet Merid” have 8 stories of female characters that contain implicatures.

This study aims to determine the public relations strategy of Makassar State University in increasing the positive image of Makassar State University in the community. To find out these objectives, the researchers used a type of qualitative descriptive research. The informants in this study were as many as five people using data collection techniques carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. Data obtained from research results are processed using data analysis techniques consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Public Relations devised a strategy so that the function could run in accordance with the objectives of Makassar State University, among others, trying to create a conducive climate between institutions and the public in order to do persuasive and educative approaches to the public, trying to create two-way communication by disseminating information from institutions to public parties. educate and provide information, in order to create mutual understanding, respect, understanding and also strive to foster harmonious relations between organizations and various groups, both in and out relations to enhance cooperation. Public Relations seeks to socialize the Makassar State University mission to be accepted or received support from the public / public.
