This paper shows the features of the choice of theoretical orientation consultant, depending on the view of  human  nature.  It  reveals the  existential  approach  to  consulting,  studying  mainly the human  possibilities  and  potency, which are not really covered in the positivism and classical theories. The paper shows the features of the  existential approach relevant for counselling, substantiates its advantages over other therapeutic areas, shows the  range of existential consultation for psychologists and representatives of other scientific schools. It was found that  existential  ideas  with  varying  degrees  of completeness  and  consistency  were  close  to  many psychotherapists,  including those who are not considered to be a fan of this area of psychology. It was underlined that the original  existentialism  followers’  standpoint  is  the  belief  about  the  importance  of  assistance  for  an  individual  in  the  development and reinforcement of his/her ability to meet the requirements of life. The main tasks of the consultant  were defined, which existential oriented psychologists should consider in interaction with customers, and it was  found, that the priority is not in the study of the person itself, but the study of the emotional experience of the human  existence as such (its enlightenment and understanding). The techniques, which are used by existentialists were  described and their positive therapeutic effect in case of a balanced combination of methods of auscultation and  influence was reasoned

The article is based on the reception theory by Hans Robert Jauss and analyses how Shakespeare’s works were read, evaluated and interpreted in Lithuanian literature in the 19th to 21th centuries. Some traces of Shakespeare’s works might be observed in letters by Povilas Višinskis and Zemaitė where Shakespearean drama is indicated as a canon of writing to be followed. It is interesting to note that Lithuanian exodus drama by Kostas Ostrauskas is based on the correspondence between Višinskis and Zemaitė. The characters of the play introduce the principles of the drama of the absurd. Gell’s concept of distributed personhood offered by S. Greenblatt is very suitable for analysing modern Lithuanian literature that seeks a creative relationship with Shakespeare’s works. The concept maintains that characters of particular dramas can break loose from the defined interpretative framework. Lithuanian exodus drama reinterprets Shakespeare’s works and characters. The plays by Ostrauskas and Algirdas Landsbergis explore the variety of human existence and language, the absurd character of the artist, meaningless human existence and the critique of totalitarianism. Modern Lithuanian poetry interprets Shakespeare‘s works so that they serve as a way to contemplate the theme of modern writing, meaningless human existence, the tragic destiny of an individual and Lithuania, miserable human nature, the playful nature of literature, the clownish mask of the poet, the existential silence of childhood, the topic of life as a theatrical performance, the everyday experience of modern women in theatre. The most frequently interpreted dramas are Hamlet, King Lear and Macbeth – Lithuanian literary imagination inscribed them into the field of existentialist and absurd literature.

The paper is aimed at optimal treatment of posttraumatic cervical pathology. 192 patients with cervical erosive ectropion (67 patients with CIN I) have been observed. The results of the conventional treatment made according to the clinical protocols (control group; n = 64) have been compared with the results of the patient's management according to the proposed algorithm (main group; n = 128). The algorithm includes microsurgical intervention, prolonged use of combined oral contraceptives or dienogest during 6–12 weeks, non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs immediately after excision, and regenerative agents not earlier than at the fourth week after the excision. The six months after the minor operation the positive therapeutic effect was 1,7 times higher in the main group. The frequency of complications was significantly lower: implant cervical endometriosis – 3,6 times, retention cysts – 4,2 times, abnormal scarring – 3,8 times, relapses of endocervical ectopia and CIN – 2,2 times, postcoagulation hemorrhage – 2,75 times, leukoplakia – 2,6 times. The use of integrated algorithm in the treatment of the cervical erosive ectropion is clinical reasonable.

In this article existential and religious motifs in the works of young L.S. Vygotsky are considered. The specificity of the existential approach, characterized by blurring the limits of philosophy, science and art and the formation of a synthetic method of cognition of a human being, is emphasized. These features are found in the early works of Vygotsky. The analysis of his essay “The tragedy of Hamlet, prince of Denmark by William Shakespeare” (1916) is the focus of attention. The existential orientation distinguishes both the form and the content of Vygotsky’s work. The genre of the work is a combination of literary criticism and philosophical psychological research. In his essay Vygotsky touches on such existential topics as: the tragedy and loneliness of human existence, existential guilt as the guilt of birth, the issue of formation and self-fulfillment of a man, the relationship of knowledge and action, the dialectic of the external and the internal, the issue of the moduses of human existence — “sinful innocence”, ethical and religious existence, the issue of meaning of life. The parallel between Vygotsky’s existential views, developed in this essay, and the ideas of well-known representatives of the existential approach is drawn. From the existential issues of the play Vygotsky moves on to its inner meaning, which he defines as religious. The four main themes he reveals most fully: the issue of connection between the two worlds — the world of the dead and the world of the living, the issue of sin, punishment and redemption, the issue of darkness of divine Providence (meaning of life) and the issue of overcoming separateness and restoring the unity of the world. In the article the main provisions and principles of study of early Vygotsky and Vygotsky in the period of creation of cultural-historical theory are compared. A continuity between the ideas of Vygotsky’s early works and his latest project of dramatic psychology is observed.

A comparative study of the level of endogenous S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM) with other hepatoprotectors in pharmacological correction of liver drug lesion. Among 117 male rats. It has been shown that among antituberculous drugs only Remaxol and Runihol were causing significant increase in endogenic SAM. Taking into account the amelioration of lab results as well as histological condition of the liver against the background of Remaxol treatment as well as positive effect of Runihol treatment upon cholestasis, one can draw a conclusion  upon the importance of succinic acid together with SAM induction as a part of hepatoprotective effect of the drug.  Reamberin, which contains succinic acid without methionine also shows hepatoprotective qualities and doesn’t induce endogenous SAM production. Positive therapeutic effect of exogenous SAM regardless the way of administration doesn’t correlate with endogenous SAM induction, and is associated with the external hepatocyte cell membrane restoration.

The paper deals with the consequences of technological transformation of the biological nature of human beings. How will our religious and scientific worldview change? What arguments for and against human cyborgization do naturalists and engineers, philosophers and futurologists propose? Answers to these questions can be decisive in determining the future of humanity. The Russian philosophers-cosmists were the first to put their minds to this problem; nowadays, this dialogue is conducted on the border between science and religion. The image of cyborg is a kind of testing ground for discussing philosophical concepts about human nature and interaction of man with the external world, about the limits of historical development and the meaning of human existence.

Diabetic retinopathy is among the most severe complications of diabetes, most often leading to rapid and irreversible vision loss. The laser coagulation procedure, which consists of applying microburns to the fundus, has proven to be an effective method for treating diabetic retinopathy. Unfortunately, modern research does not pay enough attention to the study of the arrangement of microburns in the edema area—one of the key factors affecting the quality of therapy. The aim of this study was to propose a computational decision-making support system for retina laser photocoagulation based on the analysis of photocoagulation plans. Firstly, we investigated a set of prognostic factors based on 29 features describing the geometric arrangement of coagulates. Secondly, we designed a technology for the intelligent analysis of the photocoagulation plan that allows the effectiveness of the treatment to be predicted. The studies were carried out using a large database of fundus images from 108 patients collected in clinical trials. The results demonstrated a high classification accuracy at a level of over 85% using the proposed prognostic factors. Moreover, the designed technology proved the superiority of the proposed algorithms for the automatic arrangement of coagulates, predicting a 99% chance of a positive therapeutic effect.

Human existence begins with a weakness and disability that will then move towards strength. Humans can easily utilize the grace and gift that is bestowed upon him, but man must fulfill a duty to his God. Human dignity with his Lord is not measured by how high his skill and position, his or her wealth, and his wealth. But when God measured it is his taqwa. Human beings in the Islamic perspective will remain born in a state of fithrah, that is pure, clean, free from all sin, and has the tendency to accept religion, faith, and faith. Humans become good or bad are the result of educational and environmental factors, not their original habits. According to Abd al-Rahman al-Bani quoted by an-Nahlawi states the task of Islamic education is to maintain and maintain the students' nature, then develop and prepare for all the potential possessed , by directing the nature and potential of existing and towards goodness and perfection, and realizing a program gradually. (Nahlawi, 1996) The development of human nature can be done with various learning activities. That is through an institution. The development of human nature can be done by learning activities. That is through various institutions. Learning that is not focused is through education only in school, but also can be done outside the school, whether in the family, in the community, or through the existing social science constitution.

St. Maximus the Confessor has a profound understanding of human mutability and human striving for the divine. In his opinion, this striving reflects the very meaning of human existence, which is to be in relation and ultimately in communion with God. Human nature cannot exist without this mutability; at the same time Maximus regards it as positive and intended by God, contrary to Origen’s understanding of the motion of souls. The idea of mutability and relationality of human nature has a profound impact on modern philosophy, but still needs clarification. Maximus might represent an anthropology that is appealing to our time and at the same time deeply grounded in Christian tradition. This article is an attempt to sketch the main lines of Maximus’ argumentation.
