ABSTRACT Objectives: To identify scientific evidence on the influence of internet use on adolescents’ biopsychosocial health. Methods: Integrative review, with database search, using the descriptors “internet”, “adolescent health” and “adolescent behavior”. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 16 articles were selected. Results: Knowledge convergence produced for three main themes was demonstrated: “Internet exposure time and possible damages to adolescent health”; “Internet, adolescent and cyberbullying”; and “Internet as a source of information for adolescent health”. Final considerations: The network involves an intricate network of interactions, providing varied behaviors and attitudes that reflect on adolescent health. Therefore, it is important to articulate nursing actions with the school community and the family, in order to carry out health education.

The objective of the present study was to identify scientific evidence in the literature regarding management and prevention of skin tears by nurses over the last ten years. This is an integrative review of articles found in the LILACS, SciELO, BDENF, MEDLINE, Scopus, ScienceDirect and PubMed databases, identified with the Portuguese, English and Spanish descriptors for "skin," "friction," or with the keyword "skin tears". After inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, fifteen texts were selected. Scientific evidence demonstrated that the best management results are obtained by covering the tear with the skin flap itself, using octylcyanoacrylate or silicone-based products. Prevention consists of promoting a safe environment, through multidisciplinary work and health education. We conclude that it is the nursing staff's responsibility to avoid infection, trauma of any intensity, pain and bleeding.

Lycopene is a well-known compound found commonly in tomatoes which brings wide range of health benefits against cardiovascular diseases and cancers. From an anti-cancer perspective, lycopene is often associated with reduced risk of prostate cancer and people often look for it as a dietary supplement which may help to prevent cancer. Previous scientific evidence exhibited that the anti-cancer activity of lycopene relies on its ability to suppress oncogene expressions and induce proapoptotic pathways. To further explore the real potential of lycopene in cancer prevention, this review discusses the new insights and perspectives on the anti-cancer activities of lycopene which could help to drive new direction for research. The relationship between inflammation and cancer is being highlighted, whereby lycopene suppresses cancer via resolution of inflammation are also discussed herein. The immune system was found to be a part of the anti-cancer system of lycopene as it modulates immune cells to suppress tumor growth and progression. Lycopene, which is under the family of carotenoids, was found to play special role in suppressing lung cancer.

Nursing care for newborn in phototherapy, what the evidence reveals: integrative reviewAbstract: Neonatal hyperbilirubinemia is a clinical condition characterized by the accumulation of bilirubin in the neonate's organism and can cause serious sequelae when not treated. For this, the databases were searched: BDENF, LILACS, MEDLINE and SCIELO. In the formulation of the search strategy, health descriptors combined with each other through the Boolean operators AND and OR were used. Forty articles were found that, after using pre-defined inclusion and exclusion criteria, four remained in the sample. The purpose of this community service is so that parents and children can understand the prevention and control of the spread of COVID-19 in children while utilizing 4M movements (washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds in the Indonesian language). The method used is health education and the practice of six steps to washing your hands. The results of this activity showed that children could understand and be interested in participating in health education on "prevention and control of the spread of COVID-19 to children by using 4M movements", and children and families are willing to implement protocols in their lives. The conclusion is that by implementing the 4M protocol in the family environment, we hope it can reduce the spread of COVID-19 in Indonesia

Background: Children of parents with mental illness are not routinely included in psychoeducational and supportive family interventions provided by adult mental health systems. The family, therefore, is an important and, sometimes, the only source of information and support for them. Aim: To understand the experiences of well parents in talking to their children about parental mental illness. Method: This article presents the findings of a qualitative study of the experiences of well parents in talking to their children about parental mental illness. Ten well parents whose spouses were diagnosed with a severe mental illness participated in the study. Socio-demographic information, family details and history of the spouse’s mental illness along with their experiences of talking to children about parental mental illness, the perceived risks and benefits, challenges they faced and the role of others in the process were recorded. Qualitative data were analysed using interpretative phenomenological analysis. Findings: The themes of ‘distancing children from parental mental illness’, ‘avoiding conversations about the illness’, ‘giving and receiving emotional support’, ‘providing explanations of the illness’ and ‘regulating other sources of information’ show the complex ways in which well parents influence their children’s understanding of parental mental illness. The findings are examined in the background of what is known about this topic from the perspective of children or of the parent with illness. Possible ways to support well parents in families affected by parental mental illness are discussed. Conclusion: This study is a step forward in the understanding of how families talk to children about parental mental illness and provides the perspective of the well parent.
