The purpose of this research was to propose a model of Buddhist participatory education management of charity school in Buddhist temples. The research design was mixed methods research and three steps of research was divided. Step 1: Study the condition of participatory education management. Questionnaires was used for 400 administrators and teachers, data were analyzed by descriptive statistics which were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Step 2 Develop the model by interview 10 key informants, and Step 3 proposing the model by conducting focus group discussion with 9 experts, data were analyzed using content analysis. Results showed that Buddhist participatory education management of charity schools in Buddhist temples was the implementation of the principles of education administration in a participatory manner with Buddhist principles such as Sangkhahavatthu IV such as giving polite speech and services. Consistency, the model has four main components consisted of principles, objectives, administrative processes, and evaluation. It was appropriate and feasibility to apply in the educational administration of the temple charity school in Buddhism

This paper evaluated the peace building architecture by United Nations using Southwestern Nigeria as a reference point. Quantitative data were generated from responses to the questionnaire. In addition, the qualitative data were gathered from two sources: interview response and theme coding of Focus Group Discussion. Data collected were analysed using frequency, percentage, mean value and standard deviation as well as content analysis methods. From the descriptive statistics, this paper found out that quick intervention, cross-examination, negotiation, and mediation of differences were evaluated to be the key building strategies adopted for the enhancement of peaceful co-existence in local communities within Southwestern Nigeria. In spite of those good remarks, poor nature of ethnic cooperation underlines the causal reason for incessant communal conflicts in Southwestern Nigeria. It therefore concluded that peace building strategies in Southwestern Nigeria were evidently operationalised with observable inconsistencies from the qualitative data.

The purposes of this research article were 1) to study the educational status of Phrapariyattidhamma for the General Education Section in temples of Sangha Administration Region 1, 2) to study participation in educational administration of Phrapariyattidhamma for the General Education Section in Sangha Administration Region 1, and 3) to propose a model of in educational administration of Phrapariyattidhamma for the General Education Section in Sangha Administration Region 1. Mixed methods research was used for the design. In quantitative research, data was collected from 136 samples and was analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation. Qualitative data was collected by interview 15 key informants and focus group discussion with 10 experts. Results indicated that 1) the educational status of Phrapariyattidhamma for the General Education Section in temples of Sangha Administration Region 1 showed that administrative conditions still did not conducive to development, lack funding or did not receive enough budget to manage the current condition, also depended on the abbot or a director with a position of governing the clergy. However, there was a tendency to use the participatory administration by controlling the administration of Phrapariyattidhamma for the General Education Section. 2) Participation in educational administration of Phrapariyattidhamma for the General Education Section in the Sangha Administration Region 1 consisted of 1) participation in awareness and community needs, 2) participation in organizing activities, 3) participation in decision-making and administrative efficiency, 4) participation in control and keep track of accuracy by integrating with Buddhist principles. 3) A model of in educational administration of Phrapariyattidhamma for the General Education Section in the Sangha Administration Region 1 consisted of 4 components which were 1) pleased to participate in planning (Chanta), 2) indefatigable action (Viriya), 3) correct and appropriate decision making (Jitta), and 4) follow-up and solve the problem (Vimangsa).

Educational administration and education are very related, because they are very dependent. Educational administration is all processes and joint activities that must be carried out by someone related to educational tasks. If an education without education administration is accompanied by it will not be achieved an educational goal that is good for the welfare of society. From every educational process there is a need for educational administration. The purpose of both is very clear. With this education, can improve human resources for the progress of a nation. As we know now there are still many obstacles that occur in some areas for the implementation of a learning process and learning, this is influenced by several factors. With these obstacles, a teacher must be able to provide education and education administration to all students. The science of education administration is very useful for the community and students. This article was written to explain the concept of educational administration in particular the understanding, importance and purpose of educational administration. The purpose of the article is made to inform about the notion of educational administration, the importance of educational administration and the purpose of educational administration. It is important that we know the education administration in order to be able to implement the knowledge gained as educators later. The technique used in making this article is by collecting data related to material sourced from books, article journals, and other sources related to the science of basic concepts of educational administration and analyzing the material with the literature method which aims to help find truth from the material discussed. Administration is an educational institution which is a main source of management in regulating the teaching and learning process in an orderly manner so that the most important goal is achieved at the educational institution, where the purpose of education administration itself is to provide systematic work in managing education so that educational operational tasks can be carried out effective and efficiency towards the goals or objectives that have been set.

Macrofungi are diverse in their uses as food and medicine and several species serve as decomposers and also form mycorrhizal associations. Awing forest reserve is diverse in plants and fungi species. However, no work has been carried out to assess the diversity and traditional knowledge of macrofungi in the area. Diversity surveys were carried out in three altitudes using transects of 50×20 m for six months in 2015. Ethnomycology studies were carried out in fifteen communities using focus group discussion, pictorial presentation, and questionnaires. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics in Microsoft Excel 2010. Seventy-five species belonging to thirty families were identified by morphology. Thirty-six species were found only in the low altitude, 16 in the mid altitude, and 16 species in high altitude. One species was common to low and mid altitude and also low and high altitude; five species were common to mid and high altitude while there was no species common to all three altitudes. The indigenes of the Awing communities commonly called mushroom “Poh” and use it mainly as food and medicine and in mythological beliefs. The most utilized species as food and medicine included Termitomyces titanicus, Laetiporus sulphureus, and Ganoderma sp.

The aims of the study were: (1) to investigate the needs toward product packaging of the farmer housewife group in Maha Sawat, Nakhon Pathom province, (2) to develop the product packaging design of the farmer housewife group in Maha Sawat, Nakhon Pathom province, and (3) to test the product-packaging market from consumers of the farmer housewife group in Maha Sawat, Nakhon Pathom province. The sample included (1) ten participants for analyzing needs toward the product packaging by employing the focus group discussion and (2) two-hundred consumers for testing product-packaging market by using a questionaire. The findings elucidated that (1) the farmer housewife group and consumers needed the product packaging to have a capacity to extend shelf life of the snack, to keep and reopen next time, as well as to protect the product while packing. Besides, the packaging should have the beautiful and attractive logo which can represent the group’s identity and label which can correctly inform the product description as well as should be compact and portable. (2) The packaging of Thai rice crackers (Kao Tung) made by the farmer housewife group in Maha Sawat had the high level of average assessed by the experts. (3) The market-test result on consumers’ satisfaction towards the farmer housewife group’s product packaging demonstrated the average with 4.38 and the standard deviation with 0.55. The market-test result on consumers’ satisfaction towards the product packaging based on gender and age showed that all aspects were insignificantly different.
