The main objective of this paper is to present the authors’ experience in preparing students doing the Primary Education course to implementation of innovative educational technologies in their professional activity. The article describes model of learning activity organization for students (future teachers) aimed to prepare them for innovative professional activity. This model was developed by the authors. It includes a number of stages: informative-motivational, operational, predictive, organizational and reflective. In this order the students pass the stages, i.e. get deeper understanding of innovative educational technologies applied in modern school lower grades. Each stage of the model uses educational strategies that help students to prepare to innovative activities: “intellectual and developmental teaching”, “Being within content” strategy, “simulation”, etc. Implementation of this model in Pskov State University proved its efficiency. Students that took part in the experiment showed positive dynamics in developing all components of readiness to innovative activity. The article pays special attention to the practical aspect of students’ readiness.

The article presents the authors’ strategy for the formation of positive motivation of students to educational and project professional activities, based on students’ project activities structuring and management at different hierarchical levels. For each level (academic discipline, main professional educational program, faculty, university, region, country) the authors propose various forms of project implementation, the content of which meets modern school challenges, professional community requirements and contributes to the transformation of the diffuse nature of students’ needs towards professional motives. In the course of the research, both theoretical methods (pedagogical literature analysis, modeling) and empirical methods (pedagogical experiment, questionnaire) were used. The basis for the experimental part of the study was made by 1st year students of Pskov State University, taking the course “Pedagogical Education”, studying the discipline “Introduction to Pedagogical Activity” that is built on the basis of a project-oriented program. An important educational effect of the presented strategy implementation was the growth of motives for professional self-realization, improvement of the emotional background of students’ motivation for professional activity, awareness of the subjective need for active interaction, as well as the acquisition of certain educational skills related to project activities and useful for teachers’ successful work.

The formation of readiness of future foreign languages teachers for the innovative activity is one of the maim tasks of the educational process of the higher educational teachers training institution. The article deals with the theoretical aspects of the problem of readiness for the innovative activity, it analyzes the concepts of the professional competence and innovative activity. Professional development of future teacher of philological subjects – process is complicated and lengthy. Theoretical and practical study is necessary part during of future teacher’s master of system or research knowledge in the branch of philological subjects in conjunction with general professional training. The problem of using of interactive methods in the preparation of teacher-philologists of higher school is considered in the article. The readiness to innovation teaching activities – particularly personal status of teacher, which implies the presence of a motivation-value attitude to the professional activity. Thus, the analysis of the scientific and methodological literature has shown that innovation interactive methods, in contrast to traditional teaching methods, are more effective. As a result, there is not only a transformation of goals, from teaching a foreign language to learning speaking a foreign language, but also rethinking the role of a teacher and students. Readiness for innovative teaching activities is noted – particularly the personal status of the teacher, which implies the presence of a motivating value approach to the professional activity, having effective ways and means of achieving educational goals, the ability to be creative and reflective. Many of the problems facing teachers working in an innovative way, linked to low innovation competence – teacher motivation systems, knowledge, skills, personal qualities that provide effective use of new educational technologies work with future specialist. The use of innovative teaching methods of the future teacher's linguist in teaching activities is analyzed; the content of the innovation process in education is defined; the object and tasks of educational innovation are grounded; conceptual design of efficient provision of educational technologies in the formulation of future professional competence of teachers. The effectiveness of the projecting of innovation teaching largely depends on adequate choice and the implementation of consecrate pedagogical technologies. Pedagogical technologies in the process of traditional education are called «organizational forms and methods of education. The function of a teacher can be described as a system of consequent operation, expressed in planning, observation and correction of students’ activities. The education development priority of «philological department at Hryhoriy Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav is the implementation of modern information technologies that provide access to the network of high quality databases, expanding the possibility for students to capture complex information. It is realized by building individual module teaching programs with varying levels of complexity depending on specific needs, using the interactive methods, delivering distance education, producing electronic textbooks.

AbstractThe current study examines how Japanese and international care workers at a geriatric healthcare facility in Japan manage one of the most fundamental elements of handover interactions – person reference and recognition to identify a particular care receiver and discuss their specific conditions and needs. By using Conversation analysis (CA) as a central mode of inquiry, this study examines how the participants approach the establishment of referential common ground while simultaneously attending to the progressivity of ongoing activity, and how written records on care receivers are incorporated into the process. The juxtaposition of three international care workers’ performances effectively illustrates how the international care workers’ performative competence is co-constructed with their Japanese colleagues in this interactive process and how the participants exhibit different kinds of orientations towards the activity arranged for the dual purpose of actual handover and for the international care workers’ language learning and socialization. As a contribution to a growing body of CA studies of second language talk at work, this study considers possible tensions between engaging in a language-learning activity regarding specific linguistic elements during a particular professional activity and learning to become a competent actor in the particular activity.

Many children are currently challenging to comprehend the mathematics learning, especially the counting. The children assumed that mathematics is a disliked subject, while most of the aspects in the daily life require the ability to count. The primary education about the numbers is still lacking. In early childhood, a math learning activity should be in a fun atmosphere in learning. To know numbers need to be presented creatively by using media such as multimedia-based computers so as not to get bored for the students. The application of number recognition for early childhood is equipped with sound to assist the students in pronouncing the numbers. By using the computer, the students can recognize the number 1 to 10 increased by about 37%, 39% of the students can write the numbers, and 15% of them can say the numbers.

Since the birth of clickers at Pennsylvania State University, there have been numerous arguments on its effectiveness. This study, aiming to review use of clickers in education, examined literature over around a decade on use of clickers, involving benefits and defects of use of clickers, peer discussion, use of clickers in learning, teaching and problem solving, the effectiveness of use of clickers among non-students. Besides, relationships between lecturing and learning aided with clickers, and current developments in use of clickers were also reviewed and discussed. It was concluded that clickers, as one form of modern technology, had gained growing popularity due to their advantages, such as peer discussion, anonymity and instant feedback although disputes still remained. More studies on clickers and other new technologies were still needed to further push forward levels of education. Cross-disciplinary cooperation between computers, education and psychology may be needed to design more advanced educational technologies.
