This study aims to determine and analyze how much influence the economic situation and community habits have on the incidence of anemia through household nutrition management in the work area of the Salugatta Public Health Center, Central Mamuju Regency. Methods: This research was conducted in the Salugatta Health Center Work Area, Central Mamuju Regency, which was carried out for approximately 2 (two) months, from August 2020 to September 2020. The sampling technique used accidental saturation, and the final sample (Slovin's formula) was 183 people. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, while data analysis by path analysis. Results: The results showed that household economic conditions positively and significantly affected household nutrition management. The household's financial situation has improved the case in many ways, such as increasing the education of family members, income, employment, ownership of wealth, and housing. Which, in the end, can encourage the improvement of household nutrition and promote the high ability to improve the health status of families, especially pregnant women, to avoid incidents of anemia. Community habits have a positive and significant impact on household nutrition management. The pattern of community habits (pregnant women) is shown by regular physical activity. Awareness of the importance of managing pregnancy spacing, adequate rest and maintaining stamina during the pregnancy process has led to improvements in the nutritional settings they need. As well as improving good habits from the community, especially Pregnant women have shown a decrease in the incidence of anemia.

Abstract Older adults’ experiences using smartwatch technology for physical activity (PA) have not been well studied. We studied older adults’ acceptance, capacity, and experience using smartwatches for self-monitoring and promoting PA. We conducted individual interviews using semi-structured interview guides with 15 older adults who participated in two studies. The two studies employed smartwatches in combination with personalized exercise training to promote PA and the interventions were 4 and 24 weeks in length. Interviews were transcribed verbatim. Two researchers conducted inductive content analysis using NVivo V.12 to identify and categorize codes into major themes. Participants reported high overall acceptance, ease of use (i.e., charging, checking steps, reading the screen), and attractive design of smartwatches. Participants’ positive descriptions of their smartwatch experience included: increased activity awareness (step counts and heart rate), improved exercise accountability, and enhanced motivation (response to prompts). Most participants expressed interest in long-term smartwatch use. While participants expressed enjoyment of smartwatch technology for self-monitoring and PA promotion, some reported decreased motivation over time. Participants’ concerns of smartwatch functionalities included short battery life, inaccurate step-recordings, and touchscreen insensitivity. Some also reported failure to troubleshoot smartwatch syncing/pairing problems with smartphones and daily smartwatch charging issues. Smartwatch Bluetooth connectivity and battery life can be improved to increase usability and acceptability among older adults. Future research should explore the role of smartwatches for older adults’ PA with emphasis on behavior change over time.

A large proportion of chronic diseases can be derived from a sedentary lifestyle. Raising physical activity awareness is indispensable, as lack of exercise is the fourth most common cause of death worldwide. Animal models in different research fields serve as important tools in the study of acute or chronic noncommunicable disorders. With the help of animal-based exercise research, exercise-mediated complex antioxidant and inflammatory pathways can be explored, which knowledge can be transferred to human studies. Whereas sustained physical activity has an enormous number of beneficial effects on many organ systems, these animal models are easily applicable in several research areas. This review is aimed at providing an overall picture of scientific research studies using animal models with a focus on different training modalities. Without wishing to be exhaustive, the most commonly used forms of exercise are presented.

Motivation is one of the most important factors (along with abilities, knowledge, skills and abilities) that ensures the success of music teaching. Becoming a successful teacher of art disciplines is closely related to the internal needs of his self-realization in professional activities, self-awareness in this state. The pedagogical profession requires from the teacher the formed need for artistic and educational activity, awareness of its importance for the spiritual development of society; high level of ideological, humanitarian and aesthetic culture; developed professional and pedagogical abilities, deep professional knowledge and skills, experience of artistic and creative pedagogical activity. The artistic needs of students arise and develop in the process of music-educational activities, which should be based on their positive emotional attitude to it. It is proved that in the process of educational activity a system of mental actions of reproductive and productive nature is formed, which is self-regulated and self-organized by the individual. Any activity, and in this case educational, is affected by certain incentives that become the driving force of student activity. Such incentives are needs, interests, beliefs, values, ideals, forming the motivation to learn. Along with the abilities, knowledge, and skills that ensure the success of teaching, motivation also includes emotional and value attitudes, sustained interest and inclination of the future teacher to pedagogical work; the need for active influence on the moral and emotional, intellectual and volitional spheres of the student's personality.

The article presents the authors’ strategy for the formation of positive motivation of students to educational and project professional activities, based on students’ project activities structuring and management at different hierarchical levels. For each level (academic discipline, main professional educational program, faculty, university, region, country) the authors propose various forms of project implementation, the content of which meets modern school challenges, professional community requirements and contributes to the transformation of the diffuse nature of students’ needs towards professional motives. In the course of the research, both theoretical methods (pedagogical literature analysis, modeling) and empirical methods (pedagogical experiment, questionnaire) were used. The basis for the experimental part of the study was made by 1st year students of Pskov State University, taking the course “Pedagogical Education”, studying the discipline “Introduction to Pedagogical Activity” that is built on the basis of a project-oriented program. An important educational effect of the presented strategy implementation was the growth of motives for professional self-realization, improvement of the emotional background of students’ motivation for professional activity, awareness of the subjective need for active interaction, as well as the acquisition of certain educational skills related to project activities and useful for teachers’ successful work.

The imbalances between the actual physical activity (PA) of adolescents and the subjective perception both they and their parents have in this regard can play an important role in perpetuating inactive lifestyles. The aim of this study is to analyse these discrepancies by considering gender as a conditioning factor. The participants in the study were 1697 adolescents, 1244 mothers and 1052 fathers in the educational communities of 26 secondary schools located in urban environments of the Autonomous Community of Galicia (Spain). With regard to actual physical activity, a high prevalence of sedentarism (82.1%) was revealed, this being even more acute in girls (87.8%). However, the perceived levels of activity differed significantly from the actual ones with a clear general overestimation both by the adolescents and their parents. When further exploring the data, gender influences were also detected both in adolescent and parental perceptions, since the high rates of overestimation in sedentary individuals were lower in girls and, on the contrary, the low rates of underestimation in active individuals were higher in girls. Moreover, although the level of agreement between actual and perceived physical activity was low overall, with Cohen’s kappa values ranging from 0.006 to 0.047, the lowest values were observed in the case of girls. In conclusion, both the adolescents and their parents were incapable of correctly assessing the actual physical activity of the former, so it seems that the general population lacks knowledge about the amount of physical activity that adolescents need to do to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Consequently, it would be advisable to implement health education campaigns and awareness-raising interventions directed to young people as well as to their parents and, in doing so, gender must be considered by establishing distinct program designs in terms of this variable.

Patients diagnosed with thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) typically present with microangiopathic hemolytic anemia (MAHA) and thrombocytopenia; these two clinical manifestations were often believed to be essential indicators of TTP. However, such indicators are not always present in every case. Here, we present a patient affected by TTP but showing no distinctive schistocytes on blood smear review. TTP was diagnosed through a critically low level of a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type 1 motif, member 13 (ADAMTS13) activity. Awareness of such an atypical presentation of TTP is essential for timely treatment to prevent serious and even fatal outcomes for patients.

Analyzing the spread of information technologies on social consolidation the author pays special attention to the study of the Russian situation when the wide spreading of the new media does not result into intensive political consolidation. The author notes that Internet and social networks have an undeniable potential for social influence because of intensive social interaction of numerous stakeholders. At the same time, the nominal potential of social networks as a mechanism of political communication and consolidation is low today. Wide online access does not lead to an increase of the interest to politics or social activity, awareness or subjectivity. The themes of Internet communication is extremely diverse and, most importantly, is rarely focused on a practical result or a long-term plan of socio-political reform of public policy.
