The aim of this study is to analyze the difference of students learning result on Natural Science subject who study using guided inquiry and conventional learning. The subjects of this study involve the students VIII grade of MTs Negeri Malang III that selected by cluster random sampling. The measurement of students learning result through posttest of multiple choice item which is analyzed is using precondition test and t-test. The result of study showed that there was a difference on students learning result who learnt using guided inquiry learning and those who used conventional learning Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik yang belajar dengan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan pembelajaran konvensional. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII MTs Negeri Malang III yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling. Pengukuran hasil belajar peserta didik melalui posttest soal pilihan ganda yang dianalisis menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar peserta didik yang belajar dengan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dan peserta didik yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

This research is motivated by the importance of developing students’s adversity quotient (AQ). This research examines the difference of students’s AQ in Guided Inquiry learning with Concrete-Representational-Abstract approach (ITCRA) and students’s AQ in conventional learning. This research is quasi experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population is students which grade eighth in SMPN 1 Padang Panjang, and the samples is selected two classes from seven existing classes. Instruments used to collect data is scale of adversity quotient dan intervies guidelines. Data obtained were analyzed using mean difference t-test. The results show that there are differences of student’s AQ getting ITCRA learning and student’s AQ getting conventional learning.Keywords: Guided Inquiry, Concrete-Representational-Abstract, Adversity Quotient

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) pengaruh media video terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA, (2) pengaruh media video terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPA, (3) pengaruh media video terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar kognitif peserts didik pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment. .Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V se gugus 04 Palangka Raya. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala motivasi dan tes. Destination of research to analyze increased students' scientific argumentative ability by way of Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) learning model in SMA Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. The study was conducted in a quasi-experiment manner. As for population of the research was students of class X SMAN 1 Batang Angkola. Sample selection that has been used by cluster random sampling, namely class X IPA1 and X IPA2. This research instrument uses a valid and reliable Learning Outcomes test. The data in this study were analyzed by T- test. The results of the study obtained differences in values of scientific argumentation skills in students through argument-driven inquiry learning model at 76.6 and conventional learning 70.06, this means that there is an influence of students' scientific argumentation skills using the Argument Driven Inquiry learning model more improved compared to using conventional learning.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah tertulis siswa melalui model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan Inkuiri Terbimbing dipadu Dialog Socrates. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental research dengan desain penelitian posttest only with nonequivalent group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri A Karanganyar Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen 2 dengan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dipadu Dialog Socrates. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan teknik non tes. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata argumentasi ilmiah tertulis kelas eksperimen 2 lebih tinggi yaitu 74,44 dibandingkan dengan kelas eksperimen 1 yaitu 65,99. Hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa thitung>ttabel (4,675>1,99444), artinya terdapat perbedaan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah tertulis siswa yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen 1 dan kelas eksperimen 2. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah tertulis siswa melalui model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing dengan Inkuiri Terbimbing dipadu Dialog Socrates. Students' argumentation skills: A comparison between the guided-inquiry learning model and the Socrates dialogue-integrated guided-inquiry learning model AbstractThe research aimed to determine whether there was a difference in students’ written scientific argumentation skills through Guided Inquiry learning model and Guided Inquiry learning model integrated with Socratic Dialogue. The research was quasi-experimental research. The research design used was posttest only with nonequivalent group design. The population in this research were all students of class XI IPA of SMA Negeri A Karanganyar academic year 2018/2019. The sampling technique used in this research was cluster random sampling. The sample in this study was class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class 1 with the Guided Inquiry learning model and class XI IPA 2 as the experimental class 2 with the Guided Inquiry learning model combined with Socrates Dialogue.  The data collection technique used was test technique and non-test technique. The hypothesis test used was t-test. The results of the research showed that the average scientific written argument for the experimental class 2 was higher at 74.44 compared to the experimental class 1 at 65.99. The t-test results show that tcount>ttable (4,675> 1,99444), meaning that there were significant differences in students' written scientific argumentation skills between the experimental class 1 and the experimental class 2. The conclusion of this study was that there was a difference in students' written scientific argumentation skills through the Guided Inquiry learning model with Guided Inquiry learning model integrated with Socrates Dialogue.

DEVELOPMENT OF A MODULE OF BIOLOGY-BASED GUIDED INKUIRI TO EMPOWER LEARNERS ON THE AFFECTIVE AND PSYCHOMOTOR DOMAINS       AbstractThis study aims to improve students’ affective and psychomotor performance through the development of guided-inquiry based biology modules. The research method used was research and development of Borg & Gall that has been modified. A cluster random sampling was conducted to determine 59 students. Data validation was conducted from experts, education practitioners and peers, and students. On average the score of the validation was in a good category with the value of 86.38, 92.71, and 91,80 respectively. With regards to the affective performance, there was a significant different of the score for both experimental and control group. The experimental group gained 81.75 (good) while the control group 65.76 (sufficient).  On the other hand, the average value for psychomotor performance was relatively higher with 92.53 (very good) for experimental group and 75.91 (good) for control group. The results of data analysis using the SPSS application (version 21) showed that the data in both classes were normally distributed and homogeneous so that they were continued with independent samples t-test. The results of statistical tests of affective domains show Tvalue>Ttabel (15.992> 2.002) and Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.005. Psychomotor domain data show Tvalue>Ttabel (18,312> 2,002) and Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 <0.005. Based on these results it was concluded that the use of the guided inquiry-based biology modules was able to improve students’ affective and psychomotor performances. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada ranah afektif dan psikomotorik melalui pengembangan modul biologi berbasis inkuiri terbimbing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu research and development Borg&Gall yang telah dimodifikasi menjadi 9 tahap. Sampel penelitian diambil secara cluster random sampling sebanyak 59 orang. Hasil validasi pengembangan modul oleh para ahli diperoleh nilai rerata sebesar 86,38 dengan kategori baik, hasil validasi oleh praktisi pendidikan dan teman sejawat diperoleh nilai rerata sebesar 92,71 dengan kategori sangat baik, hasil validasi oleh 16 orang peserta didik diperoleh nilai rerata sebesar 91,80 dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata nilai hasil belajar peserta didik pada ranah afektif di kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,75 dengan kategori sangat baik dan di kelas kontrol sebesar 65,76 dengan kategori cukup. Rerata nilai hasil belajar peserta didik pada ranah psikomotorik di kelas eksperimen sebesar 92,53 dengan kategori sangat baik dan di kelas kontrol sebesar 75,91 dengan kategori baik. Hasil analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS v.21 menunjukkan bahwa data di kedua kelas berdistribusi normal dan homogen sehingga dilanjutkan dengan uji independent sampel t-test. Hasil uji statistik data ranah afektif menunjukkan Thitung>TTabel (15,992>2,002) dan Sig. (2-tailed) 0,00<0,005. Data ranah psikomotorik menunjukkan Thitung>Ttabel (18,312>2,002) dan Sig. (2-tailed) 0,00<0,005. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan modul biologi berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada ranah afektif dan psikomotorik.

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih pada materi sistem saraf manusia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2018 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2019 di SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih sebanyak 3 kelas. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes tulis hasil belajar pada materi sistem saraf manusia yang dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran berlangsung. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji ancova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran guided inquiry terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi sistem saraf manusia di kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih.Abstract. This research was conducted from September 2018 until July 2019 at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih. The research used the true experiment method. The population in this study were all XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih as many as 3 classes. The sample used was 2 classes, namely class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 as the control class taken by cluster random sampling technique. Data collection techniques in the form of tests of learning outcomes on the nervous system subject was conducted before and after learning process were taken place. The datas were analyzed by using the Ancova test. The results showed that there was the effect guided inquiry learning model toward learning outcomes of students on nervous system subject in XI MIPA classes at SMA Negeri 1 Sindangkasih.

The study aimed to develop the Current Stick teaching aids and determine its effectiveness to improve students’ generic skills. The type of research is development research which involved 180 students of class X SMAN in Blora were chosen through cluster random sampling. The instrument used to collect the data was a validated question sheet from the assessment of students’ practicum report in using Current Stick teaching aids and the observation sheet. The instruments were addressed to students from the control class and experimental class. The obtained data were tabulated and analyzed by using t-test. The result shows that the experimental class achieved an average percentage of generic science skills of 77.2%, while the control class reached 66.4%. It reveals that the difference in the percentage of generic science skills is the result of using Current Stick teaching aids. Based on the results and discussion, it was found that the development of Current Stick teaching aid is effective to improve students' Generic Science skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of local wisdom-based guided inquiry learning models on students' creative thinking skill. The design in this research used a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control grup. The sample of this research was students of class IX E dan IX F which were sampled from the population in a cluster random sampling manner. Data in this research were quantitatif data obtained fromnthe average pretest, posttest, and N-gain values which were then statistically analyzed using the t test at 5% confidence level through the SPSS 17. The results showed that the creative thinking skill of experimental class students obtained good criteria with an average acquisition of 58.9 and it is known that the significance value at sig. (2-tailed) <0.05 which means that there is a significant influence on the experimental class. Thus, learning using guided inquiry models based on local wisdom influences students' creative thinking skill.

This research purposed toknow the influence of POGIL models with media card problems with understandingstudents and student learning activities. Determination of research sample is usedcluster random sampling, X MIA 4 as experiment class and X MIA 2 as control class.The technique of data analysis were independent sample t-test with program SPSS 22.Based on analysis of Mann-Whitney test result, showed that model of POGIL withmedia card problems have significantly effect to the understanding of the student'sconcept. This study aims to determine a guided inquiry learning model enriched by problem solving can provide better results for students’ scientific argumentation skills than guided-inquiry learning models. This study applies a quasi-experimental research design with post-test and a descriptive design. The sampling technique in this study applies a cluster random sampling technique. The data of the students’ scientific argumentation skills is obtained from the ability of students to answer the descriptive questions of scientific argumentation. The instruments include learning instruments and measurement instruments. Descriptive analysis and a one-part t-test with the help of SPSS 25 for Windows are used in analyzing the data. The results show that guided inquiry learning model enriched by problem solving serves better results than guided inquiry models towards students' scientific argumentation skills in buffer solution material. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang diperkaya problem solving terhadap keterampilan argumentasi peserta didik pada materi larutan penyangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian eksperimental semu dengan pasca tes dan rancangan deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah cluster random sampling. Data keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah peserta didik diperoleh dari kemampuan peserta didik menjawab soal tes uraian keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi instrumen perlakuan dan instrumen pengukuran. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan uji-t satu pihak dengan bantuan program SPSS 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing yang diperkaya problem solving memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan model inkuiri terbimbing terhadap keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah peserta didik pada materi larutan penyangga.
