When viewed from the aspect of the definition of the jilbāb (long, loose-fit outer garment worn by some Muslim women), the issue of jilbāb is a social-religious problem that is often used as a material for discussion among experts of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and tafsir (exegesis, interpretation), both classic and contemporary. This research focuses on the interpretation of the jilbāb in the Quran Surah al-Aḥzab verse 59 based on the view of al-Tabari. The researcher conducts a critical study of his thoughts by using the library research method and the sociological-historical approach. The findings proved that al-Tabari was a very careful person in interpreting the Quran based on the hadith (the record of the words, actions, and the silent approval of the Islamic prophet Muhammad) and the atsar (the words or actions) of the sahabah (the companions of the prophet). The jilbāb, according to him, was something that covered the head, face, and one of the eyes (the left one). Such interpretation of al-Tabari certainly cannot be separated from the aspects of socio-historical phenomena that occurred in the past where the Abbasid Caliphate’s seizure of territory took place to have implications for human freedom, especially for women. Such a condition of insecurity for a woman that made al-Ṭabari interpreted jilbāb as such in order to protect women. However, if the definition of jilbāb is contextualized today, then it is no longer relevant because the conditions are safe, and women are free to fulfill their needs. Still, a woman must maintain her honor and cover her aurat (intimate parts in Islam), except for something that can be seen which are the palm of the hands, and the face.

Religious issue that appearing in Arab society and how they give attention to their tradition or Turâts has making them overly glorify the glories of the part and become retarded in the face of modernity. So the Issue has motivated Al-Jabiri to offered his idea. He pin down critically from what we call or reputed by “reference” and “how to refer to”. Abed al-Jabiri is one of Muslim philosopher and become one of the leading Islamic Arab thinker about tradition relevance in the modern era. He describe that today what we need is combination between “critical of the past era” in order to avoid from history manipulation and “critical today” in order to disappear the identity confirmation and the apology within confront every west concept or idea. Therefore, to find out more his epistemology concept about Islam thought also his thought implication for Islam, this paper examine al-Jabiri thought by critical analysis with library research method. The result of this paper make the point that in reviewing and critiquing a tradition, Al-Jabiri use of "historicity" (tarikhiyyah), "objectivity" (madlu'iyyah), and "continuity" (istimrariyah) to approach the tradition or Turâts. The approach of "Historicity" and "objectivity" itself are both in the sense of separation between the reader and the reading object (fasl al-qari’ ‘an al-maqru), while the "continuity" means connecting the reader to the reading object (washl al-qari ‘an al-maqru).

It is hardly necessary to attempt a definition of what is meant by ‘the classical type’ in the body or in the face. Ordinary people know what they mean when they speak of a ‘classical face,’ ‘regular features,’ or ‘a perfectly made man or woman’ as regards the nude figure. Even though such people may have but a slight familiarity with Greek or Graeco-Roman statues and busts, or have never even actually perceived, themselves, the distinctive characteristics of the classical type, they have had it conveyed to them indirectly through the work of modern artists and illustrators of books or advertisements, or even in the attenuated and vulgarised renderings on chocolate boxes. No doubt we are now living in revolt and reaction against this type of beauty and normality, as in the past there have been periodic reactions against the dominance of the classic types, whether in ‘realistic’ or ‘romantic’ movements, throughout the historical development of art since the classical age. The fact, however, remains, that the standards of proportion and inter-relation between the parts of the body and between the features of the human head, as embodied in the classic type, still determine the taste of, at least, the Western world.

The process of marriage in Islam starting from the engagement stage to the reception is very much considered in every process. One part that is quite interesting in Islam is the dowry. Dowry is a form of gift that must be held in marriage issued by a man to a woman. Another definition of dowry is a full right that must be given to women as a form of respect for women in Islam as well as a form of responsibility and seriousness of a man to marry. From this description, this study chose library research as the research method and character analysis as the approach. Furthermore, as a result of this scientific study, in the perspective of fiqh, the views of the jurists differed in opinion, for example, the jurists, especially the jurists from the four schools of thought, had different opinions about the amount of the dowry and the payment and giving of the dowry. However, from the differences of each cleric, of course, his thoughts direct the benefits of applying dowry in Islamic law.

Post-print of The First Conference of Indonesian Community for Forensic Linguistics (KLFI-1)What marked forensic linguistics as unique is its young age compared to other disciplines. Here we review and collected 88 articles that strongly related to Forensic Linguistic (FL) from time to time. These articles help to reveal from its conceptualisation in 1968 to its fame in 1988, how it responds to the great diversity of people, and what form it may take in the future. A literature-based analysis as library research in nature helps in defining the FL issue and manage to see in the early stages was merely concerned about the use of language in legal cases. As society continues to change, FL has linked with so many other disciplines besides law. Therefore the definition of this discipline may also transform. Presently, FL no longer limits itself to the particular social setting of a courtroom but could be applied to the virtual world or cyberspace influences users negatively and dynamically developed. There is a line of proof that FL will be used to prevent and predict the social settings between citizens who could easily be not law-abiding as they seem. Shortly, the use of FL will be much more accessible to individuals through artificial intelligence (AI). Moreover, individuals will no longer need to hire experts and be able to use FL with freely available artificial intelligence (AI).

In the past architecture of Iran, traditional architects had been able to provide comfort for residents through the smart use of architectural materials and strategies. Soil architecture is the most original type of Iranian architecture and the use of soil with characteristics such as high thermal capacity and thermal latency is at the cutting edge of this field in energy consumption and the pursuit of sustainable architecture in the world. This type of architecture not merely in the form of constructing a building in a single ground, but it has been united proportional to the scale and location of the project on the ground and an indivisible part of it. The research method adopted in this paper is based on text studies and the use of visual documents in the context of library research and descriptive-analytical method. In this research, a comparative study of the principles of sustainability with the vernacular architecture of Iran and the sustainable elements, including Shaw Shawādān, sunken gardens and etc. have been addressed in traditional Iranian architecture. The results of these studies show that desirable solutions derived from this vernacular architecture for achieving sustainable architecture can be presented for reducing fossil fuels and as a result reducing contamination that plays a significant role in these issues and the issue of sustainable development.

Abstract: The Islamic economic crisis from an epistemological perspective has been going on in recent years, based on many Islamic economic figures' writings. Monzer Kahf argues about Islamic economics's definition that there is no agreement among Muslim economists about the definition of Islamic economics, its scope, its relation to conventional economics, analytical methods and instruments, and even some of its basic assumptions. They view that the Islamic economy epistemologically still needs to be studied, while this Study, which has been going on for 40 years, seems to be running in place. In this Study, researchers used a library research method. This aims to reveal the redefinition of Islamic economics from contemporary economists, the methodological crisis that has hit Islamic economics, and the urgency of developing Islamic economics methodology among contemporary thinkers. The essence of the urgency of developing methodologies and approaches in Islamic economics is tawhid. The central or core concept that permeates all aspects of the epistemology of Islamic economics is tawhid. Tawhîd is the essence of Islam; tawhîd is considered the unity of knowledge and can be broken down into sources, methods and scientific knowledge. Knowledge comes from Allah's revelations to His Prophet, and reasoning, perception, and empiricism. Because of al-Attas, God's first type of knowledge is through direct revelation. The second is through the speculation of rational investigations based on his experience of the plausible and understandable.

The purpose of this study is to determine the urgency of the stories of the Qur’an and how the contents of the educational value in it. The research method in this journal uses the method of library research, then analyzed using the content analysis method, which is descriptive-analytic with the main source of the Qur'anic stories. The secondary sources consist of articles, journals, and other books related to the research topic. Education through stories is very important, because naturally it is liked by everyone at various ages. Verses and guidance in the stories of the Qur'an are also more numerous than verses that talk about the law. In the Qur'an there is a story about the people of the past, the story of the time of the Prophet and the stories of the future, and they all become one of the methods for conveying messages of faith and strengthening efforts to deliver them to mankind that lead to the values of monotheism, worship and morals and the values of da'wah. Regarding the repetition of the story of the Qur'an, the aim is to give great attention to the story so that messages are more stable and embedded in the soul. This is because repetition is one of the ways of confirmation and an indicator of how much attention is paid. Stories that contain role models can be used as lessons to be followed by goodness, while stories that cannot be exemplary can be used as lessons as a means of increasing awareness.
