The purpose of the present study is to design a management model of ecological tourism for the city of Francisco de Orellana. Through the compilation of information and tourist offers, and the analysis of biophysical, sociocultural and economic areas, and plants, superstructures and attractions that appeal to tourists, 4 natural and 5 cultural places were identified. With the application of the environmental impact matrix, it was determined that tourist attractions present a high level of contamination due to the presence of the industrial sector and the inadequate handling of dirty water and solid waste. The most affected tourist attractions are: Napo and Payamino rivers, the Yacu eco-park and the boardwalk; throughout the environmental impact matrix they establish obstacles to environmental remediation. With the results obtained, a sustainable tourism management model was designed based on the objectives of Plan Nacional del Buen Vivir and PLANDETUR 2020. The study concludes that the management model will provide a starting point for the development of sustainable tourism activity in the city. Keywords: sustainable tourism, management model, environmental sustainability, government policies, environmental impact, strategic plan. Traditionally and socially, the tourism in Constanta is considered to be important to the local economy. Sun and beach locations are both a draw for locals and tourists to the city, on the Black Sea. However, vacation-oriented activities in the city only have a seasonal cycle. In this paper, we proposed to analyze the mass tourist activity in Constanta, taking into account economic, social, and environmental conditions. Additionally, we attempted to build a model based on the data available. The model was developed using a PESTEL analysis to determine the supportability factor of the indicators identified. We also set out to create a projection of the activities proposed for analysis by 2050. To create a model for coastal areas, the data used in this research must be accurate and consistent. Furthermore, correctly identifying indicators and their relationships is a critical step in conducting a thorough study. Last but not least, finding the calculation coefficient for the activity in question is critical, as collecting data from various activities might be challenging when trying to find a feasible model.

This study aims to determine the best route to tourist sites in Surabaya. An optimal path will be obtained from three path choices. The method used is Sugeno Fuzzy Logic, by obtaining membership degrees with fuzzification and then being applied to the appropriate rules, followed by the deflation process to produce optimal and less optimal output. There are six tourist attractions to be visited including Tugu Pahlawan, Food Junction Pakuwon, Atlantis Land, Surabaya Zoo (KBS), Suroboyo Carnival, and Mangrove. There are three starting points (Surabaya City Hall, Purabaya Terminal, and Tanjung Perak Port). The criteria used in this study are distance to tourist attractions, time taken, and road density. These criteria were chosen based on almost all tourist locations in the city of Surabaya through the crowds along the main city lanes in Surabaya. Data is obtained through google maps by comparing three paths and the optimal path will be determined to be passed to get to tourist attractions in Surabaya. The results of this study obtained six optimal paths from each starting point. Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TLTAR) is a marine park established under the Establishment of Marine Parks Malaysia Order 1994 of the Department of Fisheries to conserve marine resources and develop tourism. It consists of five islands, namely Manukan Island, Mamutik Island, Sapi Island, Sulug Island, and a portion of Gaya Island. The marine park has an area of 4,929 hectares, of which two-thirds are submerged. The purpose of the study is to investigate the characteristics of tourist attractions and tourism infrastructure in TLTAR, Sabah. The study involved 249 respondents, including locals who have visited TLTAR. The majority of respondents (71.5%) were male, 75.5% were under 30 years old, 68.7% were single, and over 50% had secondary education. The results of this study revealed that there were three main attractions that attracted visitors to TLTAR, which included the beauty of the beach and water surrounding it, the peaceful island environment, and recreational activities such as snorkelling, scuba diving, and picnicking. The island environment, particularly its beach, and the safety of the island, particularly perceived threats from certain parties and crimes, are also a few factors that need to be addressed in order for visitors to continue visiting TLTAR. In terms of the level of tourism infrastructures, the findings indicate that the recreational facilities, boat services, and jetty provided are better than those offered by others in Malaysia. The findings of the study are important for policymakers and marine park development planners in ensuring more sustainable tourism management and creating enjoyable and satisfaction for all visitors.

Mughal Garden Wah is one of the masterpieces built by Mughals on GT Road near the city of Hassan Abdal. It was private property that was later on taken by the government due to its historical and architectural significance. This site is not only a picnic point for the local community but has the potential to attract thousands of national and international tourists to enjoy its landscape and architecture. The current state of the garden is not praiseworthy, and if proper measures are not taken well in time, this masterpiece of art and architecture will vanish soon. The current study is an attempt to highlight the architectural significance of the garden, its conservation issues and managing it for sustainable tourism.

AbstractThe municipality of Bahía Solano possesses important tourist attractions. The majority of them consist of natural wonders such as whale, dolphin and bird watching. Its marine area offers diving courses, all types of fishing, surfing, other water sports etc. The enormous amount of natural wealth stands in contrast to the lack of local development and the high rate of poverty among its inhabitants. Bahía Solano has enviable tourist professions but a low level of competition. This research proposes a methodology of social innovation, elaborated by researchers, that involves nature, communities and tour operators, where a connection of surveys with the expectations and perceptions of the different entities (inhabitants, tourists, and tour operators) has been obtained.

Young people are important to cities, bringing skills and energy and contributing to economic activity. New technologies have led to the idea of a smart city as a framework for city management. Smart cities are developed from the top-down through government programmes, but also from the bottom-up by residents as technologies facilitate participation in developing new forms of city services. Young people are uniquely positioned to contribute to bottom-up smart city projects. Few diagnostic tools exist to guide city authorities on how to prioritise city service provision. A starting point is to understand how the youth value city services. This study surveys young people in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, and conducts an importance-performance analysis to identify which city services are well regarded and where the city should focus efforts and resources. The results show that Smart city initiatives that would most increase the satisfaction of youths in Braamfontein  include wireless connectivity, tools to track public transport  and  information  on city events. These  results  identify  city services that are valued by young people, highlighting services that young people could participate in providing. The importance-performance analysis can assist the city to direct effort and scarce resources effectively.
