In a multilingual society, code mixing and code switching occur in communication. The purpose of this study is to describe the code switching and code mixing used by counseling teachers in providing counseling guidance at State Vocational High School 7 Jember. Sociolinguistic studies were applied to achieve the objectives of this study The data collected was in the form of counseling teacher's utterances in the process of counseling guidance which contained code mixing and code switching. The data sources are counseling teachers and guidance students. The data is analyzed using theory of code mixing and code switching. The result of this study indicates that counseling teachers use code switching from Indonesian to Javanese to give advice to the students. The use of the code switching is an effort to make the advice given more effective. Code mixing into Javanese occurs due to the background of the native language possessed by the counseling teacher namely Javanese language. The aims of this study is to find out and analyzed about students’ influences of Computer-assisted assessment (CAA) It is the case study and field research of one school in Nusa Dua Badung-Bali. The data sources chosen in this study were several high schools that carried out online examinations at Nusa Dua Vocational high school Bali-Indonesia. Data collection is done by random sampling from data sources, observation, interviews, recording, and note taking. Distribution of questionnaires was also carried out to strengthen data analysis. Data is analyzed based on the formulation of the problem and the study of theory that has been, then analyzed in qualitative description. The descriptive study used paper-based surveys and interviews for data collection. To obtain information about the students’ influences of Computer-assisted assessment (CAA). Based on our review and study result, there are some influences that found. The Computer-assisted assessment (CAA) systematics is held with the aim that students become more critical and independent in solving the questions given.

Based on the preliminary survey, the Bengkayang State Vocational High School 1 Bengkayang currently only has four teachers in the field of Accounting. Whereas the library only has 100 book examplers. In addition there are also computer lab facilities but no one can teach accounting computers. The purpose of this study is to find factors that influence accounting learning behavior. The population in this study were all students. The research sample is as many as 30 students who are in Bengkel 1 Vocational School majoring in accounting. The research method is descriptive and the research design is a qualitative case study. The results of this study are that those who study accounting in this case the students produce an impact that affects behavior both from within and outside themselves when studying accounting, the impact can be negative or positive for their accounting knowledge. The impact is in the form of good behavior that arises from within themselves or behavior that comes from people around them.

This study aims to analyze the types of deixis by using Levinson’s theory, find out the dominant types of deixis, and the reasons behind the uses of deixis by foreign and local English teachers. The study used a qualitative method particularly a case study. The data sources of this study were the foreign and local English teachers’ utterances. The data were obtained through a classroom observation and interview technique. The data were analysed using Miles and Hubermans’s interactive model. The findings showed that five types of deixis were found in the foreign and local English teacher’s utterances, namely person deixis, place deixis, time deixis, discourse deixis, and social deixis. The dominant types of deixis in both the English teachers’ utterances were person deixis.  The reasons behind the uses of deixis were also explained in this study

So far, in implementing school strategies, they tend not to utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT), despite the availability of ICT resources available. Stages of strategic management are needed to generate the vision, mission, objectives, policy, program, budget, and procedures as well as control and evaluation process as an effort to utilize ICT to improve school quality. Based on the interpretation and the results of the study, it is concluded that schools have organized stages in strategic management that enable schools to have a quality profile. The impact of effective utilization of ICTs for schools is the achievement of effective school management, as per the National Education Standards, which is characterized by effective planning, implementation, control, and evaluation of school ICTs.The purpose of this study is to get a general description, describe, and reveal the Strategic Management of Information and Communication Technology Utilization to Improve the Quality of School Learning in Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational High School and Garut 1 Vocational High School, both on environmental analysis, strategic formulation, implementation and strategic evaluation. The research method used in this research is the case study method, because the problems studied occur in the place and situation of Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational School and Vocational High School 1 Garut. The use of case study models in this study is based on the consideration that to provide an overview of the strategic management activities of the use of ICTs carried out at vocational high schools with the ultimate goal of being able to improve the quality of school learning. Based on observations in the field of SMK 1 Garut and SMK Al Musaddadiyah Ciledug Garut is one of the public schools and private schools that have these advantages.

This study dealt with the development of English Reading Materials of vocational school, Al-WashliyahTeladan Medan, majoring Software Engineering. The objectives of this study were to: 1) find out language skill and materials are needed by the students of Software Engineering, 2) develop the English materials for the majoring in software engineering students at the vocational high school grade XII. This study was conducted by Educational Research and Development R&D (Borg & Gall, 1989). The data of this research were from existing documents and the result of interview with teacher and student. The results of the research conveyed that the existing reading materials were mostly irrelevant because the title and content of the material was not appropriate and was not required for the students majoring in software engineering. The new English reading materials and syllabus were developed based on the students need related to the workplace. The materials and syllabus were developed from the existing materials from teacher. The developing materials were validated by two experts.

The purpose of this research is (1) analyze student’s concept in answering the association test, (2) analyze the concept of understanding  relationship  to  answer  the test depends on the student’s school origin.The method used in this research is qualitative with case study approach. In clustering sampling technique the subject was used in this research is 6 students, shared  in  3  groups.  They  are  2  students come from public vocational school, 2 students come from public senior high school and 2 students come from private senior high school and vocational school. Data was collected through test and interview.   Data   analysis   used   in   this research refers to Milles and Huberman in Moellong’s book; they are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the student’s understanding is various enough in answering the  set  test.  Depending on  the first subject analysis (S1) who came from private school, he did not understand about the concept of set. The second subject analysis (S2) and the third subject analysis (S3)  who  came  from  public  school,  they had understood. But, they need to be careful and patient to avoid the mistakes. The data which  had  gained from deeply interview, showed that the subject analysis (S1), (S2) and (S3) were able to indicate the relationship of school origin with the student’s concept of understanding within answering the set test.

The purpose of this study is to know, to describe, and to analyze the implementation of edupreneurship through teaching factory in the vocational high school (SMK) majoring in hotel accommodation program skill. The research method used in this research is the qualitative method. This method is intended to know deeply in the implementation of edupreneurship through teaching factory in SMK. This research started with the observation of edupreneurship activity through teaching factory at SMK N 6 Yogyakarta. The data was collected by conducting in-depth interviews with informants who are directly involved in edupreneurship activities. The result of this research is the implementation of edupreneurship through teaching factory in terms of learning, there is commitment and basic principle which run by the school but not yet optimal. There are still significant obstacles, especially related to the work culture that is applied not in accordance with the procedures of business and industry (DUDI), educators who have not understood the culture of DUDI, facilities, and infrastructure that do not meet the DUDI standards, the cooperation between SMK and DUDI is still weak, and the regulation of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) which requires the use of state-owned goods as a form of state income.

This study aims to describe the form of code switching and code mixing used in Indonesian language learning at SMP N 01 Limpung, Batang Regency. This research is included in qualitative descriptive. Data processing that examines code switching and code mixing is thus the data in this study in the form of oral data, namely, speech code switching and code mixing that exist in Indonesian language learning. The data sources came from Indonesian language students and teachers at SMP N 01 Limpung. Data collection techniques in this study used the observation and note technique. The first step, the researcher listens to the use of language in Indonesian language learning. Furthermore, the researcher recorded the speech data including code switching and code mixing. The results showed that the speech used when learning Indonesian at SMP N 01 Limpung included: (1) code switching from Indonesian to Javanese and (2) code switching from Javanese to Indonesian. The form of code mixing that occurs in Indonesian language learning is in the form of: (1) the form of code mixing in the form of word insertion, (2) code mixing in the form of phrases

Religious character of students in state vocational high school 1 Dukuhturi Tegal was build of Sholat Dhuha habituation. As a social control, the teachers give a pin “not allow me” to lazzy students in Sholat Dhuha habituation and also give reward mukenah for diligent students. This qualitative research using case study aimed to find out the effectiveness of social control religious character’s student in state vocational high school 1 Dukuhturi Tegal. Data validation was carried out using data source triangulation. Technique of analyzing data used integrated data resulting from the observation of Sholat Dhuha habituation, interview, and documentation from many sources to support information. The theory employed was Talcot Parsons’s Theory with AGIL Concept. The results of research showed that the students doing Sholat Dhuha is not only they afraid of the punishment but they also have a spiritual needs. Religious character habituation doing by obedient attitude in Islam, dicipline, tolerant, and honestly in aqidah subject. This habituation need supports all of school element so that the students have a good religious character.Karakter religius peserta didik SMK N 1 Dukuhturi dibina dengan membiasakan Sholat Dhuha. Sebagai kontrol sosial, Guru menerapkan hukuman berupa penempelan pin bertuliskan “jangan tiru aku” bagi yang tidak rajin melaksanakan dan pemberian penghargaan berupa mukenah bagi yang rajin melaksanakan. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kontrol sosial dalam pembinaan karakter religius peserta didik muslim SMK N 1 Dukuhturi. Validitas data diperoleh dengan cara triangulasi sumber data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan data hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teori Fungsionalisme Struktural Talcott Parsons. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik melaksanakan Sholat Dhuha tidak hanya karena ada hukuman dan penghargaan tapi muncul rasa kebutuhan spiritual. Pembinaan karakter religius yang dilakukan adalah sikap dan perilaku patuh dalam melaksanakan ajaran agama Islam, disiplin, toleran, dan jujur melalui pembelajaran akidah. Pembiasaan Sholat Dhuha baru dilaksanakan dengan maksimal oleh beberapa wali kelas; Butuh dukungan dari seluruh warga sekolah agar bisa menjadi sebuah pembinaan karakter religius yang kuat. Dampaknya masih banyak peserta didik di kelas lain yang belum memiliki rasa kebutuhan spiritual.Keywords: Social Control, Religius Character, Muslims Students, State Vocational High School
