With the continued education reform, the significance of higher education institutions in the cultivation of professional talents has gradually become apparent. Among them, the teaching of students’ professional English abilities in higher vocational colleges has received extensive attention from all walks of life. Traditional higher professional English teaching only takes English as the basic subject of public courses. In the teaching process, it focuses on the students’ test-taking ability, ignoring the improvement of students’ practical ability of professional English, which hinders the future development of students. In this case, this paper analyzes and studies the existing problems in the teaching of professional English ability of colleges and universities, and proposes feasible professional English teaching programs, in order to improve the English teaching ability of colleges and universities and promote the comprehensive development of students.

This paper provides an in-depth understanding and analysis of the reform of English teaching in colleges and universities by analyzing the role of big data technology for the reform through in-depth research and analysis. Based on the background of the era of education informatization, this study explores the transformative value of the integration of information technology and teaching activities and elaborates the relevant significance at the theoretical and practical levels. Based on this, the research method of this study is established. The realm of integration of information technology and teaching activities and its transformative value is taken as the focus of the study. The integration of information technology and teaching activities means that it is not only a simple superposition between information technology and teaching but also a process to explore the role and influence of information technology into teaching activities by deeply exploring the inner connection between the two, to complete the integration of information technology and teaching activities, and finally to realize the comprehensive development of student’s personality.

With emerging engineering education becoming a new strategic direction of the higher engineering education reform in China, it is an important issue faced by colleges and universities to comprehensively improve their abilities of training talent, conducting scientific research and serving the society. Promoting industry-university-institute cooperation is a key measure for colleges and universities to keep up with the pace of higher education and socio-economic development. Colleges and universities need to improve the industry-university-institute cooperative talent training mechanism, and establish an industry-university-institute cooperative education system based on public technology service platforms, to promote the combination of technology and production through cooperative education based on their current situation of research, push forward the supply side reform of higher education, and provide human resources, technical support and industrial services for social development against the background of emerging engineering education. While enhancing their levels of scientific research and education, colleges and universities can promote social progress and help enterprises create economic benefits, to achieve win-win cooperation with all relevant parties in the society.

In higher education, English has always been the focus of teaching, and college English teaching must be vigorously innovated. Through the analysis of the English teaching situation in some colleges and universities, we discovered that micro-lessons an innovative teaching method, has been applied to a certain extent, but the circumstances under which micro-lessons are applied are not favorable. Many college English teachers recognize the value of micro-learning applications, but the shortcomings in the teaching also cause many challenges in the application of micro-lessons. This article will analyze the application value and specific challenges of micro-lessons in college English teaching, and propose some suggestions on the application of micro-lessons.

With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform in the field of higher education in our country, the piano impromptu accompaniment course has an increasing influence on students. In the current piano impromptu accompaniment course, teachers are influenced by many traditional concepts of music course education. Teachers mainly focus on singing and personal practice in the teaching process. In terms of teaching content, the selection of repertoire for students is relatively fixed and outdated, which causes students to feel monotonous, and reduces the quality of learning the piano impromptu accompaniment courses. That being said, this article thoroughly explores the construction and utilization of network resources in the process of piano improvisation, in order to improve the quality of education and teaching of piano impromptu courses in colleges and universities, and provide some valuable references for promoting the overall development of students.

Since the bigenning of the 21st century, China’s society and economy have profoundly developing toward an increasing comprehensive direction, which contributes to higher requirements for talented persons. More demands on China's education, especially the higher education, has been put forwarded due to the failure to satisfy the development of society with literacy requirement. In the past education in colleges and universities in China, the teaching ideas of schools and teachers have been influenced by traditional teaching concepts. The education for students is mainly based on basic theoretical knowledge. Besides, there aren’t too much attention to be paid on students’ psychological construction and ideological and political education. Colleges and universities have not made substantial progress in the teaching of ideological and political courses on students' psychological construction, resulting in incomplete problems in the development of students and the inability to train comprehensive talented persons for the society. Therefore, in order to promote the comprehensive development of students, colleges and universities need an effective combination of psychological counseling and students' ideological and political education for professional knowledge, excellent psychological qualities, noble ideological and moral qualities. They will promote the comprehensive development of college students and cultivate more high-quality talents for the development of society.
