<p>Yogyakarta is known as a tolerans society, suddenly shocked by an incidence of the<br />destruction of the Ndoro Purbo’s grave, the 6th Sultan Hamengku Buwono’s grandchild, by irresponsible persons. In response to this incidence, a Nahdliyin (NU) community in Yogyakarta performs sacred rituals called an ‘istighotsah’. This is a qualitative research (case study) that aims to answer three problems: (1) how does NU in Yogyakarta look at the figure of Ndoro Purbo?  (2) How do they interpret the acts of  Ndoro Purbo’s grave destruction? And (3) Why does NU Yogyakarta perform a ritual ‘istighotsah’, and how do they interpret ‘istighotsah’? This study aims to explain the interpretation of NU members on the acts of Ndoro Purbo’s grave destruction, to understand the reasons of NU do ‘istighotsah’,   and to<br />find the meaning of ‘istighotsah’ for NU members. Data was collected through observation, participant observation and in-depth interviews, while the interpretive data analysis is done using emic and ethical perspective. The study’s findings indicate that Ndoro Purbo was imaged as a figure of saint and known as a person with supernatural power. The Ndoro Purbo’s grave destruction was considered as a form of rudeness to the Javanese value, which is interpreted as violation of the Islamic values and a game of symbol, and it was considered as an act of wrongdoers. To fight such injustice among the NU members, they perform ritual<br />‘istighotsah’ as an expression of  a protest to God and a form of spiritual resistance during the difficult situation in facing disobedient or ‘visible sin’.</p>

Purpose – This study aims to explore Leaf diary activity to develop the Science and Mathematics ability of children aged 6 years.Design/methods/approach – The method used is a case study. The unit of analysis is based on predetermined criteria, using the purposive sampling technique. Research informants are mentors and children involved in leaf diary activity in Solok, Indonesia. The data collection process used participant observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews. Data analysis used structural analysis techniques.Findings – The results showed that leaf diary activity could develop: (1) children's ability to classify leaves based on their shape; (2) the ability to compare leaf size based on length, as well as large or small size.Research implications/limitations – All research informants were from Solok District, Indonesia, which may limit the generalizability of the findings.Practical implications – This case study contributes to the implementation of Leaf diary as an alternative activity that teachers or parents can do to develop children's science and mathematics ability.Originality/value – Leaf diary activity can help children explore the natural environment so that basic science and math abilities and concepts in this activity are carried out well. Dakwah refers to the spreading of Islam and its teachings through various means. Dongkrek, meanwhile, is a traditional artform with Islamic literary value that has been used as a medium for dakwah. This study seeks to describe and explore dongkrek as an artform with Islamic literary value and its use as a medium for dakwah in Madiun Regency. It is a qualitative study, which takes as its case study a dongkrek troupe from Madiun Regency. The main source of data for this study is the dongkrek performance itself; supporting data has been collected from texts and informants. Data collection involved observations, library research, and in-depth interviews with informants. For this study, data analysis was conducted using content analysis and interactive analysis. This study finds that dongkrek is an Islamic literary artform said to have been created by R. Bei Lo Prawirodipuro in 1910. It may be considered an Islamic artform as the lyrics used in performances convey Islamic teachings; it is through these lyrics that Islamic values are conveyed to audiences as a form of dakwah. It is shown that dakwah and dongkrek are complementary, ensuring both the innovativeness of dakwah and the survival of dongkrek. Penelitian berbentuk penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Studi kasus dilakukan pada kelompok kesenian dongkrek yang ada di Kabupaten Madiun. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bentuk pementasan dongkrek. Sumber data pendukung adalah teks dan informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, studi pustaka, dan wawancara mendalam dengan informan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan content analysis dan analisis interaktif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kesenian dongkrek termasuk dalam sastra Islam yang diciptakan oleh R. Bei Lo Prawirodipuro tahun 1910. Disebut kesenian sastra Islam karena dalam kesenian dongkrek terdapat lirik lagu yang memuat tentang ajaran agama Islam. Kesenian dongkrek digunakan sebagai media dakwah dengan mengajarkan syi’ar kepada masyarakat melalui pementasan seni dan budaya. Hal ini seperti yang dilakukan oleh walisongo. Hubungan antara dakwah dan dongkrek adalah saling menguntungkan yaitu pembaruan dalam bidang dakwah serta pelesarian dalam bidang budaya. Dapat dikatakan dongkrek adalah sebagai media tontonan dan tuntunan.Kata kunci: media dakwah, dongkrek, tradisi, seni pertunjukan tradisional

This study aims to examine the ethnomathematics of batik activity in the Batik Tancep Gunungkidul artwork as contextual mathematics learning. This research is a type of qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data was obtained in the form of qualitative data, research data sources obtained through observation, interviews, documentation. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself. Data collection is done by participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is done by triangulation of data collection techniques and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Data analysis is reduced based on Bishop's mathematical fundamental activities. The results of data analysis are then explored in mathematical aspects. The results of the study found mathematical aspects of the area of flat wake area, congruence and congruence of flat wake, comparison, translation, multiplication of count numbers, and volume of curved side space. The results of the study show that the batik activity in the Batik Tancep Gunungkidul artwork is one of the real events that can be raised into contextual mathematics learning. <p class="Abstrak"><strong>Abstract:</strong> The purpose of this study was to describe the wholeness of the Among System in the application of the noble values in the character education of Ki Hadjar Dewantara. The case study qualitative research data collected using in-depth interviews, observations and study documents. The data analysis technique in this study was thematic analysis and validated by source triangulation and method triangulation The results showed that the Among System demonstrated the application of the noble values of the education of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's characters in TK Taman Indria Malang City including the application of ing ngarso sung tulodho, ing madyo mangun karso, and Tut Wuri Handayani. The methods used in implementing of the Among System in TK Taman Indria contained methods of habit, exemplary, storytelling and conversing. The characters that appeared from the implementation of the Among System including politeness, responsibility, disciplines, orderly and accepting rules. Various strategies were used in the preservation of the noble values of the character education of Ki Hadjar Dewantara and were used in dealing with the obstacles in preserving the noble values of the education of Ki Hadjar Dewantara's characters in TK Taman Indria.</p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan secara menyeluruh mengenai Sistem Among dalam penerapan nilai-nilai luhur pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Alat pengumpul data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara mendalam, observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah tematik analisis. Derajat keterpercayaan dalam penelitian ini dicapai dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Among dalam penerapan nilai nilai luhur pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara di TK Taman Indria Kota Malang meliputi adanya Penerapan <em>Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodho, Ing Madyo Mangun Karso, Tut Wuri Handayani</em>. Metode dalam penerapan Sistem Among di TK Taman Indria antara lain metode pembiasaan, keteladanan, bercerita dan bercakap-cakap. Ditemukan berbagai strategi pelestarian nilai-nilai luhur pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara serta hambatan dalam pelestarian nilai-nilai luhur pendidikan karakter Ki Hadjar Dewantara di TK Taman Indria.

Indonesia as a country that has the wealth of natural resources, human resources and cultural resources, has a dream to become a great nation and aligned with other nations. Education is one of the keys to success for Indonesia to achieve its goals. The state made various efforts in the framework of educating the nation assisted by the community. In 1998 a group of community initiated a concept of education known as the Green school. Green school has two great vision, which are: (1) Establish rahmatan lil alamin generation, (2) Indonesia as green and peaceful country. Currently, the development of green school in Indonesia are very rapidly both in terms of quality and quantity. This journal is based on qualitative research of a case study on Bogor green school and Baturraden green school studied during July-August 2016. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, triangulation and documentation while data analysis techniques using Spradley. The results showed that the curriculum of green school are capable of forming students akhlakul karimah, students logical thinking, leadership and entrepreneurial spirit of students as a preparation to face the challenges of the 21st century.

SMAN 2 Kediri is a school that was established in the era of independence which is a condition of historical value and is very adaptive and responsive to the dynamics of plural societies and the development of the education world in Kediri. And in maintaining the diversity that exists, the school has organized education in a democratic and fair and not decriminative manner through a curriculum filled with multicultural values. So as to uncover the application of the curriculum with a load of multicultural values, a study was carried out on the concept of muticultural values that grew and developed in SMA 2 Kediri. This research is a qualitative research with case study research and in data collection using in-depth interviews and observation techniques, as well as documentation. Then the data analysis technique uses interactive techniques from Milles and Huberman. The results showed that the concept of multicultural values implemented in SMA 2 Kediri is a concept of interrelated values and cannot stand alone and grow and develop simultaneously

The purpose of this study was to find the top five rankings of sharia finance contracts with the potential for fraud (case study of three sharia commercial banks) in North Sumatra. This research uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, data analysis with Analytical Networking Process (ANP) techniques through Super Decision Software, conducting open and in-depth interviews with 9 respondents, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with practitioners and sharia finance experts. In this case, it was found that the top five rankings of sharia financial contracts have the potential for fraud (a case study of three sharia commercial banks) in North Sumatra, namely Ijarah 23.34%, murabahah 14.86%, kafalah or kafalah bil ujrah 8.71%, musyarakah 8.22% and mudharabah 6.28%.

The purpose of this study was to determine the communication patterns of female assisted residents in Tangerang Class IIA Lapas after participating in routine studies through an assimilation program with an Islamic approach by the Da'wah Muslimat Volunteer Team of the Dewan Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia. This qualitative research approach uses a case study method that seeks to describe in detail and comprehensively the patterns of communication between spiritual guides and assisted members of the assimilation program in their interactions while following Islamic enlightenment regularly twice a week. The informants were 7 of the 12 participants of the assimilation program at the Class IIA Lapas Tangerang, Banten. Informants are assisted residents who have undergone half the time of determining the research informants using purposive sampling technique. Collecting data using observation, in-depth interviews with research informants and conducting documentation studies. The results of data collection were analyzed using qualitative data analysis model analysis from Miles and Huberman so that a conclusion was generated.

This article is motivated by the fact that the existence of the Street Vendor (PKL) profession is a manifestation of the difficulty of work and the lack of jobs. The scarcity of employment due to the consideration of the number of jobs with unbalanced workforce, economically this has an impact on the number of street vendors (PKL) exploding ... The purpose of being a street vendor is, as a livelihood, making a living, looking for a bite of rice for family, because of the lack of employment, this caused the number of traders to increase. The scarcity of jobs, causes informal sector migration job seekers to create an independent spirit, entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, with capital, managed by traders who are true populist economic actors. The problems in street vendors are: (1) how to organize, regulate, empower street vendors in the cities (2) how to foster, educate street vendors, and (3) how to help, find capital for street vendors (4) ) how to describe grief as a Five-Foot Trader. This paper aims to find a solution to the problem of street vendors, so that cases of conflict, cases of disputes, clashes of street vendors with Satpol PP can be avoided. For this reason, the following solutions must be sought: (1) understanding the causes of the explosions of street vendors (2) understanding the problems of street vendors. (3) what is the solution to solving street vendors in big cities. (4) describe Street Vendors as actors of the people's economy. This article is qualitative research, the social paradigm is the definition of social, the method of retrieving observational data, in-depth interviews, documentation. Data analysis uses Interactive Miles and Huberman theory, with stages, Collection Data, Display Data, Data Reduction and Vervying or conclusions.

This study aims to obtain a concrete picture of the effectiveness of the application of the principles of teacher Islamic communication in fostering the character of tenth grade students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Rantauprapat. The communication process in education is not only understood as a one-way knowledge transfer process, however, there must be a serious effort on the part of the educator / teacher, as a communicator, to be able to provide good role models. Qualitative research methods try to understand a phenomenon as the understanding of the respondents studied, with an emphasis on the subjective aspects of one's behavior. Qualitative research provides an opportunity for researchers to understand the way respondents describe the world around them based on the way they think. The researcher tries to enter the conceptual world of the subject under study to capture what and how things happen. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews in this study researchers used a semi-structured interview (semitructure interview), namely: interviews in the category of in-depth interviews. Data about the application of teacher Islamic communication and the communication character of tenth grade students, data analysis used in this study during the field using the Miles and Huberman Model, namely the activities in qualitative data analysis are carried out interactively and continue continuously until completion, so that the data is already saturated.
