The research's goal is to find out the Arabic learning process is based on the ability to read and write the Koran, and what factors influence the learning process of Arabic with the ability to read and write the Koran in students at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level in the East Kalimamtan. The research isa descriptive qualitative research that tries to describe the process of learning Arabic by using the ability to read and write the Qur'an, the research subjects are 20 educators from the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Institute in the East Kalimamtan. The research instrument was observation, questionnaire, and documentation, data analysis using the Miles and Hubberman Model. The results of the study are the ability to read and write the Koran has an important role in learning Arabic, and one of the abilities that must be possessed by students because this ability is the initial capital in learning Arabic, if students have the ability to read and write the Koran then learning Arabic will be easier to learn and teach. Mathematics is one of the sciences that is often used in culture. Forms of cultural activities containing mathematical concepts are called ethnomatematics. Mathematics related to culture will make it easier for students in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to know and describe ethnomatematics on the activities of batik in Batik Production Batik Dewi Sinta Banyuwangi and as material for student worksheet. This type of research is qualitative research with ethnographic approach. The data were collected form observation and interview. The research subjects were owners and employees at the Batik Production Batik Dewi Sinta Banyuwangi. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis. This research showed that there were mathematical concepts on the activities of batik in Batik Production Batik Dewi Sinta Banyuwangi wich includes counting, calculating, measuring, and designing activities. The product of this research is a teaching material in the form of student worksheet for class VII which contains ethnomatematics in batik activity. The purpose of this research was to analyze student motivation in learning process teach by using Chemsketch. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative research, this research conducted in SMAN 2 Merauke in Papua. Technic that used to get the data using purpose sampling, total population are 28 students in Grade X IPA 2. The data in this research collected using questionnaire that given for student after finish learning process by using software chemsketch on topic hydrocarbon by giving checklist in every item. Based on data analysis, the result only three categorized that got from research, first are 11 student (39.28%) \categorized very high motivation, second are 16 students (57.14%) categorized high motivation , and the third is 1 student (3,5%) categorized medium. From the result showed that the use of chemsketch able to motivate student to learn chemistry especially hydrocarbon topic and for teacher can used as an alternative media for teaching.

This study aims to describe the inculcation of the values of patriotism and nationalism in students through PPKN learning in class XI TAV-A SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga. The type of research: descriptive qualitative, research subjects were PPKn teachers and students of class XI TAV-A. Collecting data using observation techniques, interview tests, questionnaires, documentation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the inculcation of the values of patriotism and nationalism through Civics learning had been carried out starting from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. The values of patriotism and nationalism that were instilled were: respecting differences, maintaining unity, being willing to sacrifice, caring about helping friends who are in trouble, being responsible, honest, disciplined and religious. Based on student questionnaire data processing, the effectiveness of Civics learning in instilling the values of patriotism and nationalism is manifested in eight attitudes of students who fall into the very high category with an average value of >3.0

Geometri adalah bagian matematika yang sangat dekat dari siswa, karena hampir semua objek visual yang ada di sekitar siswa adalah objek geometri, tetapi tidak semua siswa menyukai pembelajaran yang menyertakan gambar, sehingga memungkinkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar geometri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kesulitan belajar siswa berdasarkan karakteristik Lerner dalam menyelesaikan pertanyaan geometri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa dengan kepribadian wali yang mengalami kesulitan belajar di kelas IX A SMP N 30 Muaro Jambi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penulis sendiri, lembar tes klasifikasi kepribadian, lembar tes kesulitan belajar, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa dengan kepribadian wali yang mengalami kesulitan belajar, 100% mengalami kelainan persepsi visual, di mana siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan seperti apa bangun datar pada masalah tersebut. 60% mengalami kesulitan mengenali dan memahami simbol, di mana siswa melihat simbol "//" sebagai simbol untuk kesesuaian. Serta 40% mengalami kesulitan dalam bahasa dan membaca, di mana siswa kesulitan dalam memahami pertanyaan yang diberikan.   Geometry is a very close mathematical part of the student, because almost all visual objects that exist around the students are objects of geometry, but not all students like learning that includes images, thus allowing students to have difficulty in learning geometry. The purpose of this research is to describe students' learning difficulties based on Lerner's characteristic in solving the geometry question. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Research subjects were students with guardian personality who had difficulty studying in class IX A SMP N 30 Muaro Jambi. Instruments used in this study are the authors themselves, personality classification test sheets, learning difficulties test sheets, and interview guidelines. The results showed students with guardian personality who experienced learning difficulties, 100% experienced visual perception abnormalities, where students have difficulty in determining what kind of flat wake on the matter. 60% have difficulty recognizing and understanding symbols, where students see the symbol "//" as a symbol for conformity. As well as 40% have difficulty in language and reading, where students difficulty in understanding the given question.

This study was aimed at identifying the language functions, analyzing the types of errors in and identifying the sources of errors committed by local guides in DanauTamblingan. This study was a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were three local guides in DanauTamblingan. The data were collected through observation and interview. Interactive data analysis model was used to analyze the data. The results of this study show that 14 language functions namely advising, thanking, greeting, refusing, self-introduction, offering something, asking information, giving information, explaining something, giving suggestion, giving command, telling prohibition, apologizing, and saying goodbye. There were 4 types of error: omission, addition, misformation and misordering. The total number of errors were 579 which consisted of 365 errors or 63.0% in omission, 103 errors or 19.0% in addition, 93 errors or 15% in misformation and 18 errors or 3.0% in misordering.

The development of music, film, and other industry of entertainment is stated to contribute to the existence of slang words. There are so many slang words that become popular after they are included in the lyrics of songs. One of them is YOLO (You Only Live Once) which is popularized by Drake. In relation to that, this descriptive qualitative research attempts to find out the types and word formation processes of slang words found in the lyrics of Drake’s songs. By taking the model of document analysis by Bowen (2009) and Qualitative data analysis by Miles and Hubberman (1994), it is found out that there are 190 slang words existing in the lyrics of Drake’s songs. They are respectively categorized into Clipping type (62 slangs), Fresh and Creative type (44 slangs), Compounding type (44 slangs), Imitative type (36 slangs), and Acronym type (4 slangs).

This study aims to see how to instill the value of Pancasila in students.The appropriate type of research is descriptive qualitative research.The research instrument used deep interview, observation and documentation.Research Subjects are Educators /Teachers.The focus of this research is the cultivation of the three principles of Pancasila by educators/teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Polewali, West Sulawesi Province.It was found that the implementation of the implanting of the three values of Pancasila in students was carried out by institutions/schools through the role of educators in the learning process in the classroom, through planting material, extracurricular activities, collaborative activities with local government partners, as well as community and parent participation.

Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) is a study of language which views language as two characteristics, systemic and functional. With using SFL, the researchers try to analyze the tale’s story of Sabai Nan Aluih. The research aim is to identify the interpersonal meaning realized in that story and to reveal the speech function of language use in that story. The research design of this analysis is descriptive qualitative research. The object of this research is the interpersonal meaning analysis of clauses as exchange in the tale of Sabai Nan Aluih. The data of this research is the clauses as exchange in the story of Sabai Nan Aluih. The source of data which is used in this research is the documentation of the data research paper. The researchers use document analysis from the story of Sabai Nan Aluih as collecting data. The data is analyzed by using description method. In the interpersonal analysis, declarative mood dominates almost the story, it is about 91 %. And, the data analysis of speech function is found in the story of Sabai Nan Aluih, statement, question and command, in where statement is domination from the story about 94%. Thus, it is important that the using of interpersonal meaning and the speech function of the story of Sabai Nana Aluih is as information

Writing skill is one of the skills that is difficult to learn because we have to know the correct sentence composition and also what we hear must be in accordance with what we write and therefore this skill is very important to learn. The objective of the research is to identify the sudents’ responses toward think talk write (TTW) strategy in teacihng writing skill. The research used descriptive qualitative design. The respondents of this research were eighth grade students of SMP Pasundan 1 Cimahi. The instrument of this research was questionnaire. The result of data analysis shows that students gave positive responses toward TTW strategy. The respondents agree that TTW strategy can increase students’ motivation, TTW Strategy can help students in improving their writing skill and TTW strategy can make teaching and learning process interesting. Keywords:  Writing, Think Talk Write (TTW) Strategy, Student’s Responses

Researcher Conducted research on Diniyah madrasah education which consisted of two classes for volume one and two consisting of 65 students and for volume three and four consisting of 32 students. In this study, the objectives are first to determine the effectiveness in the learning process of lilbanin morals, second to determine the effectiveness in shaping the morals of students in learning lil banin morals. descriptive qualitative research type. The conclusion is that the effectiveness of lil banin moral learning is quite good and has been very effective even though learning the lil banin book is a yellow book learning, so that the delivery of material is easy to understand by using attractive and appropriate methods such as exemplary methods, refraction, sorogan, wetonan, bandungan and memorization so that achieved in the formation of santri morals.
